With a little love this place could be amazing, the most of the staff were very good but the place is a little run down, would I stay there again? Perhaps but not 100%

New towels are needed, water pressure was pretty unimpressive, pool chairs need to be replaced

De kamers waren prima! Hygiënisch, en goede bedden. De douchekop mag wel ontkalkt worden want er kwam weinig water uit.

Zou een geweldig hotel zijn geweest, als alles open was geweest. Dakterras is leeg en vanaf de tweede verdieping zijn de lichten uitgezet. Het dakterras was ver voor sluiting donker en verlaten zonder meubels. Niet zoals op de foto’s en wel iets om vooraf te melden… Voelde hierdoor echt als een spookhotel.

We had absolutely beautiful and lovely people at this location however the shower was at best “lukewarm which while being very disappointing was not the end of the world as the days were typical hot Bali days all the time !!!-A great number of people including some people that we were introduced to elected to leave early and found alternative accomodation due to the lack of hot water(and in fairness were given a full refund without issue. We to when querying reception(who again I stress were absolutely fantastic)offered us a full refund to leave but ultimately offered myself,my wife and son free breakfast each day

I believe having run large commercial buildings previously that the shareholders have perhaps run out of money and in my opinion are just scraping by at this time-because they were so quick to offer a full refund for any nights not stayed-I assume management have made that a blanket rule for all staff when hearing complaints about the lack of hot water !!!

ADVERTISED BUFFET BREAKFAST AND IT WAS AL- A -CARTE, WHICH I DONT LIKE, ROOFTOP BAR WAS LONG AGO CLOSED AND UNSAFE ROOFTOP RUSTING AWAY. THE RESORT NEEDS ALOT OF MAINTENANCE . WATER PRESSURE VERY LOW AND WATER WAS SALTY (I THINK RECYCLED WATER- NOT GOOD FOR HAIR OR SKIN) WATER HAD A STRANGE SMELL ALSO.

Stayed here alot of times as we love the location and the price!! It's a bit dated and not many facilities but so many good eateries a short walk away and so close to double six beach. Staff are always so happy and helpful

Location and feel and the staff were incredible friendly. Pool was really nice. Rooms were clean. Everyone was so welcoming.

The sliding doors may have been a bit more sercure but with 24/7 security I felt safe.

Unsafe security latch to pool area. Disgusting towels. Asking for room to be cleaned and waiting fir room to be cleaned. No atmosphere at pool. Bar and restaurant appeared to be closed. Check in difficult. No hot water last 2 days. Smelley drains. Bathroom door got stuck couldn't open wardrobe.

Food was terrible, we ate out for breakfast even though we paid for inclusive breakfast. No hot water for the duration of our stay. Constant issue with the facilities not working. No refund was offered. Very disappointing. Would not stay there again.

I cannot recommend this hotel more highly. From the initial warm greeting including welcome drinks and cold towel service to a sincere farewell; the staff exceeded all my expectations of customer service. Everyday the staff including Dekyu, Santi and Juli welcomed you at breakfast time. They were polite and warm. Dekyu took a personal interest in our well being and provided local tips on where to go and what to see. Thanks Dekyu for you professionalism. The buffet breakfast is the best and the items change daily so you wont be served the same dishes twice. Hotel concierge goes out of their way to assist you in anything you need. I left my mobile phone in the taxi and Robbie from Concierge went beyond customer service contacting my number on my behalf until it was returned. Thank you Robby and Martana. The hotels location is perfect. Close to the beach and has so many good restaurants around to choose from. For typical good cheap Indonesian food, you cant pass by Warung Merah or Sammys. If you want to party, Cocoon is just down the road. Cocoons restaurant is excellent. Have I convinced you to stay? Only you can try the Ananta Hotel experience. You wont be disappointed!

Hotel has no hot water so cold showers only. We were not informed of this and they could not provide any certainty on when it would be back. So we had to cancel our next stay at hotel for when we returned from lombok. Hotel facilitated this without too much trouble.

There was only slightly lukewarm water when we arrived and then on our last two days there was no water at all. The bed is very hard and caused lots of aches and pains. The pool closes at 8pm so you’re not allowed to swim after that. The buffet breakfast was very disappointing with not many options available. The fridge in the rooms are not cold at all so putting things like cheese slices in there was pointless. The tv antenna didn’t work and was so glitchy we couldn’t watch anything.

Staff were great, the location seems good. Close to the beach, food, shopping and massages. The staff were all lovely. We paid $50 AUD per night. For the price it was pretty good.

The room was clean enough but definitely in need of a deep clean. There were a couple of (hopefully) makeup stains on the sheets and towels. There were some scum/water marks on the walls in the bedroom and bathroom. The hotel overall was a little run down.

It looks abandoned, nothing compared to the pictures. The reception at check out was not fantastic. Her colleagues had allowed late checkout at 1, she called at 11 to tells to checkout at 12 and wasn’t willing to listen to what was agreed with her colleagues. Bath towels are way too old and look dirty!

Lovely place with beautiful staff. Ideal location as it is very close to the beach, restaurants and shopping. Great position without spending a fortune. Rooms are nice, double bed, good amenities with tea and coffee facilities, shampoo and body wash, and hair dryer. Very clean but a little on the older side. Perfect for us as we didn’t use the room much. Pool area was cool, lots of sun beds however if it was busy you would struggle to find one. Swim up bar was really nice and the barman was so friendly! The place was a little on the older side but still a truely nice place to stay.

I liked how the rooms were cleaned expect the mold on the mirrors. Beds were comfy. Good location not far from shops and beach. Staff were friendly.

The photos they put up of the hotel were old. The hotel was out dated and needs renovation. I reacon the photos were taken about 5 years as things are now run down at the hotel. We had breakfast there one morning out of 3 as the breakfast wasn't very nice. The bread was old. The gym room smelt old. No swim up bar as no worker there. We asked when someone will be servicing there they said from 9pm. None was even there then. There was also no rooftop bar as no lights there at night.

We booked 3 poolside rooms for an 8 day family holiday. My wife had stayed at the Ananta some years ago, apparently during its glory years and we were confident of a laid back resort atmosphere that our teenage children would enjoy as much as us. Well…..we soon noticed there was a severe lack of maintenance. In fact, we weee told only 50 rooms in the resort were now used and the top 2 floors had basically been abandoned . The rooftop bar is non existent, our showers hardly worked, digital card door lochs needed reprogramming most days, getting pool towels and ice to keep drinks cold ( as the room fridges were set to room temp) was like pulling teeth. The breakfast was a mediocre repetitive buffet for the first half if our stay until after New years when they didn’t even bother and only offered an “al la carte” American or Indonesian “ breakfast . Staff were friendly and doing their best but were usually hard to find. Rarely manning the pool bar, reception desk and late to make rooms up . Rooms have minimal facilities, no extra pillows, mini bar, ice , adapters , we noticed some pool access rooms had stained curtains. Despite the above, we had a great time but it wasn’t because of the standard of accommodation. This place was once great , is in a good location and could be excellent again with some investment and a change of attitude. Presently though , there’s obviously better options

This was my 3rd visit to this hotel, but this time I had injured my knee just before traveling. I was delighted to see a gentle ramp leading into the hotel, and to find I could get to the elevator, dining area, etc without a single stair. The hotel is stunning architecturally, with broad white steps leading into the interior pool, restaurant, and fountains courtyard, but the elevator swiftly got me where I wanted to go. The hotel staff is amazing, the rooms spotless, and the view from the rooftop delightful.

Was definitely not like the pictures. Private pool room wasn’t what I thought & was small. Staff were really nice, breakfast was cold & limited choice of buffet style. They did refund me for extended stay that I didn’t end up doing.

Room was small & not comfortable for mother & teen, definitely not as pictured with pool access room. Room did have pool access but it wasn’t a balcony like I thought it was. Breakfast was cold.
