We had breakfast each morning and met the most engaging young lady, Varena. She frequently went out of her way to give us information about eating places to experience and suggested items to bring back to our friends and family in America. Her personality and communication skills were exceptional! We will fondly look back on our new friendship.

First of all, getting to the hotel is a major hassle; you have to park in a lot that is about a 10-minute walk away. When we called to ask where to park, the receptionist simply rattled off a street name. We drove there, parked, and then had to walk the whole way in the rain hauling two large suitcases. If only she had asked, "Have you checked in yet?" before we parked, it would have saved us a lot of aggravation—because we ended up having to make that walk four times. Finding the hotel's location was a challenge; when we arrived and asked how to get there with our luggage, we were told that vehicle access is restricted to drop-offs only and requires a street entry code. Since our car was already parked in a lot, we had to walk ten minutes to fetch the bags. The room's air conditioning only offers cooling—no heating. There are no power outlets for charging phones near the bed. The bathroom is completely bare, aside from soap! There are no basic amenities typically found in hotels (such as cotton swabs, shower caps, etc.). In short, I do not recommend this hotel at all; the nightly rate is very high considering the poor value provided.

Lovely hotel in a fabulous location. Close to all attractions and surrounded by quality restaurants. Rooms were very comfortable and breakfast delicious. A small but nice rooftop terrace for smokers/chilling with a drink.Would recommend.

The property is very well located, comfortable beds and decent sized room for being in Europe, and the staff were incredible.

They did not have shampoo or conditioner. Which is a very minor thing but considering they have four star rating I would expect that they would have shampoo and conditioner.

Das Frühstücksbuffet ist groß, die Qualität der Speisen könnte etwas besser sein.

Super Lage in der Fußgängerzone am Fuß des Kapuzinerbergs. In wenigen Minuten im Festivalbezirk! Gutes Frühstück und sehr sauber. Mobilitätsticket erlaubt gratis Benutzung des öffentlichen Verkehrs.

Die Lage

Für eine Nacht war die Unterkunft akzeptabel, insgesamt waren wir jedoch enttäuscht – besonders in Anbetracht des Preises. Das Zimmer und vor allem das Badezimmer wirkten deutlich abgewohnt und nicht wirklich sauber. An mehreren Stellen waren Verschmutzungen, Ablagerungen und starke Gebrauchsspuren zu sehen. Die Heizung im Badezimmer war dabei wirklich die Krönung: stark verschmutzt, mit abgeplatzter Beschichtung und Roststellen. Auch die Ecken, Fugen und der Bereich rund um die Dusche hätten deutlich gründlicher gereinigt werden müssen. Hinzu kamen einige unpraktische Details: Im Badezimmer konnte lediglich ein einziges Handtuch aufgehängt werden, weitere Möglichkeiten gab es nicht. Außerdem gab es keine Steckdose im Badezimmer und auch keine Steckdose direkt neben dem Bett. Gerade zum Laden des Handys ist das heutzutage ziemlich unpraktisch. Insgesamt machte die Unterkunft einen in die Jahre gekommenen und wenig gepflegten Eindruck. Eine Renovierung und vor allem eine gründlichere Reinigung wären dringend angebracht. Für eine Nacht war es auszuhalten, aber für den verlangten Preis stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis für uns überhaupt nicht. Wir würden hier nicht noch einmal buchen.

I had a wonderful stay at the Leonardo Boutique Hotel Salzburg. The room was very clean, spacious, comfortable, and well maintained. The location is excellent, in a lively area surrounded by plenty of restaurants, cafés, and nightlife. The Old Town is also very easy to reach — just cross the bridge and you’re there within about five minutes on foot. Breakfast was another highlight, with a delicious and varied selection. Overall, a great hotel with an excellent location, clean and spacious rooms, and a very enjoyable atmosphere. I would definitely recommend it!

The hotel is not easily accessible by car. It can be difficult to transfer luggage at certain time of day.

Hotel ligt lekker centraal. Op loopafstand van de bezienswaardigheden, de oude stad en leuke winkels en restaurantjes. Ook is het modern ingericht, lekker licht en ruim opgezet. De kamer is ruim, schoon en licht.

Gute Lage, freundliches Personal. Saubere gemütliche Zimmer.

Sehr gute Lage, obwohl nicht direkt in der Altstadt, ist man schnell mitten im Geschehen. Mit dem Bus vom Bahnhof aus in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Nettes Personal an der Rezeption.

es wurde nicht kommuniziert, das auch die Mobilitätscard bezahlt werden muß. Leistungsumfang wurde nicht mitgeteilt. Deshalb wurden die Cards doppelt bezahlt, was ein „no Go“ ist.

Ein schönes Hotel in einer tollen zentralen Lage in Salzburg. Sehr saubere Zimmer, gutes Frühstück.

Für das, was es bietet ist es schon recht teuer, aber das liegt sicherlich auch am grundsätzlich sehr hohen Preisniveau der Stadt.

Sehr laute Umgebung durch enge Straßen, zu denen die Fenster gehen. Nachts sehr viel Publikum in den Straßen, frühmorgens Straßenreinigung, Müllabfuhr, Lieferdienste. Alles erwartbar, aber in dieser Intensität schwer zu ertragen.

Die Lage ist optimal. Viele kulinarische Lokale sind neben dem Hotel. Die Altstadt in unmittelbarer Umgebung und gut zu erreichen. Zum Zimmer: Es war sehr aufmerksam, dass wir täglich eine frische Flasche Mineralwasser bekommen haben. Im Zimmer befindet sich ein Kühlschrank der bei den heißen Tagen sehr nützlich war.

Unübersichtlich und verwinkelt…

Hotel in einem wunderbaren Altstadthaus. Nur über die Salzach und man ist in der Getreidegasse. Unser Zimmer hatte die Fenster in die Linzergasse. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte perfekt, kein Zug im Bettbereich. Zimmerservice und Austausch der Handtücher auf Wunsch täglich. Es gab einen zweiten, wirklich leistungsstarker Fön im Bad. Das Frühstück haben wir nicht konsumiert, obwohl preislich in Ordnung, da es im Umkreis eine Vielzahl von Konditoreien gibt. Danke für die Welcomegoodies im Zimmer! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Es war uns klar, dass in Salzburg eine Zentrumslage keine Ruhelage ist. Schlafen bei offenem Fenster ist in der Hochsaison kaum möglich - uns hat es nicht gestört. Leider gab es keine Bad-Amenities (Bodylotion, Conditioner, Abschminkpads, Duschhaube)

Good location. It was clean and modern. Breakfast was good. A bit overpriced for what you get, the hotel is pretty standard.

Staff were not welcoming, no explanation about breakfast, check-out, guest mobility card etc. We had to ask about the mobility card ourselves. We felt that the staff just wanted to get it over with, absolutely not professional and costumer-oriented. Well, maybe it was the heat that day but it doesn't justify it. There was just one cup in the room for two people. Quite noisy in the hallway.

The location was convenient for walking to shops, restaurants, and tourist attractions. The AC was especially nice since the weather was rather warm during our stay.

The breakfast was quite average compared to others which were included with our hotel stays.

Die Lage war sensationell! In der Fußgängerzone, in ein paar Minuten im Zentrum der Altstadt. Zimmer in Ordnung

Unser Zimmer war zum Innenhof ausgerichtet, leider hat man dort spät am Abend und früh am Morgen Abfall entsorgt ( Flaschen usw.) das natürlich laut war.

Es war sehr schön vor Ort. Alle waren freundlich und zuvorkommend! Eine Frechheit finde ich es, ein Deposit über 260,- über 1 Monat zu blockieren! Das ist nicht ok! Hotel ist ansonsten sehr empfehlenswert!

Very close to old town and city highlights. Public transport was walkable. The rooms were comfortable with air conditioning and restaurants downstairs. There were elevators which was fantastic for check in and checkouts with all your luggage.

The rooms were slightly on the small side, so no chair to sit in, otherwise it was great.
