the room was bit old, the stove didn't work (when we complained, the reception said will send the technician whom never showed up till we checked out on day-3) ,the door lock can be open easily, the bed is toooo soft, lots of electricity not working.

There were a bunch of people in a close by chalet,,"the Lodge" which I think was a common area, that were noisy talking and laughing in and outside most of the night..

Reviewed Aug 20, 2026The motel room was quiet, clean and tidy Cosy with good heating. Very warm comfortable bed. It is in a great location with fabulous views of the Southern Alps and Mt Cook. Convenient to everything to see and do. The staff were friendly and helpful
Attention to detail would have improved our experience. At other motels along our route we had milk in the fridge on arrival and a box of tissues. The TV remote didn't work in spite of the owner trying to help. The floor tiles were a bit too cold for the winter weather ,couple of rugs would be good . The shower had no pressure but the water was lovely and hot.
