Il nostro appartamento si presentava molto bene con arredi e bagno nuovi. Cucina attrezzata con tutto il necessario. Letti comodi. Parcheggio davanti alla porta di ingresso. Il check in e’ stato fatto oltre l’orario senza problemi.

Migliorare leggermente la pulizia nei dettagli (ad esempio la polvere sulle prese vicino al letto).

Updated features, great facilities and how warm the motel was.

The room is very modern and looks newly renovated. The beds are very comfortable, it has underfloor heating, the shower is hot with a strong pressure and the kitchen has everything you need. A three minute walk gets you to the grocery store, it closes at 7pm, restaurants, bars and the liquor store.

Nothing, this is one of the best motels/hotels I’ve stayed in in New Zealand.

The Lakes Motel Twizel was fabulous and one of the best places we have stayed in during our 3 week trip in the South Island. We stayed 2 nights. The location was great for doing a day trip to Mount Cook. We got upgraded to a one bedroom unit which had a king size bed and there was also a single bed. The apartment had everything we needed and more. A lot of thought has been put into the design, colours, furniture etc. Very High Standard & clean . Well done. Even under floor heating to keep your feet warm while in the kitchen area and bathroom. Also a heat pump & central heating that comes on automatically. Guest Laundry facilities too but didn’t use them. Also had Netflix. Close to Restaurants/Bar & 4 square supermarket. I definitely would stay here again and Highly recommend to others choosing a place to stay in Twizel. Great value. Thank you for a great stay.

The most comfy bed of our trip so far. Room was very modern and well layed out. Motel had great faculties and only a short walk to town centre. Definitely look forward to returning.

Our group of seven checked in. The staff first explained the room's condition to us very carefully. The room was very clean and felt newly decorated. The living room was spacious, and overall, we felt very comfortable.

The motel is spacious, clean, with kitchenette and all types of cutlery. There's also a small backyard garden to air out the room after cooking as well. The location is great, near the main road and a large supermarket (5 mins by foot) More importantly, the lady at the front office is so sweet and helpful. We forgot a pair of glasses and she emailed us right away! (We didnt get the notification and later called the office late in the evening and she still picked up the call ❤️) She also kindly recommended us where to go around town and gave a nice bottle of milk for coffee. Had a great time here, will come back for another trip soon :)

It was probably one of the most comfortable, modern and well equipped motels we’ve ever experienced. It had more kitchen utensils than hotels than homes we’ve stayed in. Thoroughly recommend.

Amazing room- beautifully decorated, the staff were amazing, I can't wait to go back!

The outside of the hotel looks a little old, so I was pleasantly surprised by the interior when I got to my room. My room appeared to have been recently and extensively updated, with cool furniture in the seating area, and nice fixtures and appliances in the bathroom and kitchen. Easy walk to restaurants and the grocery story, too. I’d definitely stay here again!

This motel has been beautifully renovated. The nicest motel we have ever stayed in. Don’t let the old style exterior fool you.

We have travelled around NZ, staying in some nice hotels, but this was honestly our favorite. Lovely check-in, WONDERFUL suite, and good location. Everything was top-notch and brand-new, from the well-appointed kitchen to the living area (with sheepskin seating!) to the linens and beds to the reading lamps by the bed (thank you!) Quiet at night, and everything worked as it should. Good selection of coffees and teas, as well. Would absolutely come back if we were again in Twizel. Highly recommend.

Booked this at relatively short notice, Warren was very accommodating and welcoming. Rooms felt very new and were exceptionally well equipped and decorated. Had everything we needed for a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Also had lovely garden area to sit in.Would highly recommend.

This was easily our favourite motel that we stayed in during our NZ road trip. The owners are lovely and welcoming. The property has been recently renovated — everything feels very new and modern. Our two bedroom apartment was spacious and spotless, with very comfortable beds. I’d highly recommend staying here when visiting Twizel, Mt Cook, or the surroundings.

Room was clean. Plenty of milk, tea and coffee. Spacious enough for a one night stay. Used as a base to visit Mount Cook, a relatively short drive away. Staff on front desk were friendly and engaging.

Not about the property but Twizel didn’t have too much choice when we looked for a restaurant. However we could have gone to the supermarket and bought food to be cooked at the motel room.

What can I say, but, Superb Accommodation! Recently been renovated, we had a brand new Bedroom Suite, had our own cooking facilities( not needed, so many great food options available in Twizel. Hosts, Warren and Iona are very likeable folk, and obliging. Also a guest laundry is available as well. Could easily spend a week or two here !

One of the best places we stayed in New Zealand but the most expensive at US$305 a night --- maybe the area as there are limited options. Very large room, large sitting area, good TV, bed, and bathroom. High quality feel to room.

This motel looks plain (although well maintained) from the outside. The rooms were a real surprise. Obviously really recently renovated, the rooms are fresh and modern and really clean and well appointed. The motel is well located not far from supermarkets, restaurants and cafes. One of the nicest places we stayed.

This motel was an unexpected and delightful find. At first glance, the exterior made me a little sceptical, but stepping into the newly refurbished room was a wonderful surprise. The renovation is beautifully done—tasteful, high-end, and clearly well thought out. Thoughtful touches really stood out, from proper wine glasses and quality coffee and dinnerware to excellent linens. I especially appreciated the makeup-remover washcloth—such a small detail, but it shows real care for guests. The owners deserve to be congratulated. Travellers, don’t miss this hidden gem.

Lovely clean and modern rooms. Easy check in and out. Perfect for what we needed as a couple down for our child’s rowing competition. Easy short walk to the Four Squares and eateries.

Updated furnishings, vert clean, and comfortable. Really liked that they came in daily and refilled the coffee supplies, cleaned kitchen, and bathroom, nice touch! Bonus that there are food carts in the morning (offering coffee and sweets) and evening (pizza, burgers, dumplings) right across the street from motel. Also, very easy distance to Mt Cook/Aoraki National Park and nearby lakes. Don’t miss the ‘wild’ salmon hatchery, great spot for lunch or dinner!

The room had been recently renovated - nicest bathroom I've ever seen in a motel! Fantastic shower!! The kitchen was extremely well equipped for the size, lots of thoughtful things to make and overnight stay nice. We stayed at the peak of high season, so it was probably more than I'd planned to spend but it was definitely a very comfortable stay!
