Casa Schuck Boutique Hotel

I scheduled a getaway with my wife to celebrate my birthday, and this beautiful hotel made us feel right at home. We stayed in the "Jacarandas" room, which was beautifully decorated. The entire property is stunning and exceptionally well maintained. The breakfast was delicious, but the highlight of our stay was the outstanding service provided by Gabriel and Alejandra. They go above and beyond when it comes to customer service. We will definitely return to this hotel every time we visit San Miguel.

San Miguel isn’t the cheapest place, but I think Casa Schuck provides value for money.

I just came home from spending six restorative days at Casa Schuck in San Miguel de Allende. My daughter and her family rented a house in the city but I chose to stay in this wonderful boutique hotel to get some much needed rest and peace. I chose the perfect place! The hotel is so lovely, with beautiful gardens and terraces, and wonderful places to sit and rest. My room was cozy and so comfortable, and very quiet. The daily breakfast was a treat - I got to choose from a menu and everything was delicious. I have to mention that Alejandra and Gabriel, the two "concierges," were welcoming and warm and exceedingly helpful. I hope to go back and highly recommend Casa Schuck!!

Casa Schuck was our favourite part of San Miguel De Allende. Gabriel and Alejandra went above and beyond to help us organize trips, transfers and anything we needed. The breakfast was perfect, as was the room and our view over the Parroquia. This hotel is the perfect place to come and relax in San Miguel De Allende.

We had a wonderful stay and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The hotel was beautiful, comfortable, and in a great location. A special thank you to Gabriel and Jorge, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They were incredibly accommodating and provided excellent recommendations for safe transport and around town that made our trip even better. The breakfast was also outstanding- delicious every morning and a highlight of our stay. We truly appreciated the warm hospitality and look forward to returning!

We have stayed in many, many lovely places in SMA over the years, but Casa Schuck tops them all. Beautifully decorated from top to bottom with lovely gardens throughout. Our room, Jacaranda, was comfy and had just about all of the amenities one could think of...like a bottle opener, earplugs, a carafe of water in the bathroom, etc. Rooms have terraces and there is a rooftop to enjoy the stunning views even more....see photo below. Breakfast choices were hearty and fab. Early tea/coffee was a welcome treat. Alejandra, the bilingual host, is very friendly and helpful, as was the entire staff. Always with a big smile and Buenas Dias! Heated pool helped sooth tired muscles.

Everything was lovely....I think a small fridge in the room would have been very helpful.....but they do have a beverage fridge for guests. Maybe a bit more light inside the property in the evening would have been good as there are many stairs to navigate.

We celebrated our 25th anniversary here and so happy we did. We had a gorgeous room with a view of the city and the stunning courtyard. Aside from just an amazing friendly staff and management who organized just the loveliest personal touches to make our celebration even more special. They organized a driver back to Guanajuato to take us the scenic way back and tell us about the towns and history along the way . An amazing closing to the best few days. Wish we had more time . Thank you for the memories!

Stunning property filled with lush vegetation, hand painted pottery, and gorgeous sitting areas throughout. Our room (la biblioteca) was tastefully decorated, large, and had a beautiful view of the courtyard that was steps from the cozy pool. Alejandra and her staff were lovely, as they made us feel welcome and taken care of. My highest recommendation.

I cannot recommend this gem of a hotel highly enough. With the popularity of San Miguel growing, there are many hotel options popping up throughout the city, but none have Casa Schuck's classic Mexican decor and ambiance or a staff that prioritizes your every need without being overbearing. The hotel is gorgeous with beautifully appointed rooms, a pool, a rooftop terrace that overlooks the city and countless plants and flowers that make you feel like you're in paradise. Breakfast is delicious and the staff's attention to the property and all the guests is impeccable. We also loved the location which was not directly in the busy center (which can be noisy on weekends) but only a few blocks and a 5-10 min walk from the center. You get the best of both worlds - proximity to town square with all surrounding shops and restaurants, and a sense of local life and the true San Miguel. We rented out the hotel for a wedding in April and it was truly a highlight of the wedding for all our guests. I would not look anywhere else.

We are lucky enough to live in San Miguel but I needed a mini "stay vacay" so booked into Casa Schuck for 3 days and it surpassed my expectations from the moment Gabriel greeted me at the door and took my luggage up to my room. The staff are wonderful and kind and warm and Alejandra, Gabriel, Jorge and the amazing chefs in the kitchen and the young women who cleaned the rooms are the best! My room overlooked the beautiful pool and I had a great view of our beloved Parroquia. The soaking tub was just what I needed and when it was chilly in the early morning, I put on my fireplace until I went down for the delicious breakfast served every morning. I will return for my next little vacation getaway and highly recommend this special boutique hotel

Casa Schuck is a wonderful bed and breakfast in an ideal location, less than 10 minutes from the center of San Miguel de Allende. The English-speaking staff was exceedingly helpful with travel suggestions, restaurant recommendations and arranging transportation. Breakfast, including fresh squeezed orange juice, was delicious. Our room was spacious. The view of the city from the balcony was amazing. WiFi was fast, too.

The most beautiful setting and amazing staff which made my stay in San Miguel magical!

We stayed at Casa Schuck for a week during a recent first trip to San Miguel. It was exactly the experience we were looking for. The building is a gorgeous colonial mansion in the middle of the historic center. It has elegant and comfortable rooms, many of which have private patios and gorgeous views of the town and it's principal church. We stayed for the first several nights in the Royal suite which was very large and had a private patio. You definitely would not go wrong with this room. Our second room was El Cielo, which was smaller but equally quaint with a beautiful view and a deck with absolutely spectacular views right outside the front door to the room. The deck itself is not private, but may as well be because not a single other guest went up with that high in the building. The staff were attentive and incredibly helpful, with special thanks to Jorge and Alejandra. Breakfasts were delicious. The handful of other guests present were interesting quiet and lovely. We were going to rent a house for the week and a car, but our friends from the area told us that we would be much happier staying at Casa Schuck without a car in the middle of everything. Both rooms that we stayed in required a few flights of stairs so those with mobility issues should talk with the management to carefully choose their room. Other than that, you could not go wrong with this awesome place.

Ideal location—in El Centro but just slightly away from the noise and hubub around La Paroquia. Gorgeous hideaway, delicious breakfast and wonderful staff. Alejandra, the manager (?) was spectacular. It felt as if we were staying with wonderful friends. The rooms were lovely and comfortable. We were there during the Cartel situation in Jalisco and felt completely safe. We can’t wait to return to SMA and won’t consider staying anywhere else.

Casa Schuck was magical! We had the library suite, which overlooked the pool and courtyard when we opened the French doors. The entire boutique hotel is a curated experience with plants, flowers, art, history, and more. It was quiet and private when we wanted, or we could talk to other guests during our made to order breakfast, which included anything you can think of! The views from the upstairs sun deck were all of downtown and the surrounding mountains, particularly the parroquia San Miguel, just a short walk away. Bottled water, cucumber water, friendly and knowledgeable staff, very high level of cleanlines, everything was perfection. I highly recommend Casa Schuck.

Our kudos to Gabriel, Alejandra and Jorge for their very warm and welcoming manner to the hotel. The hotel is exquisite, but it is the staff that shines. They made us feel most comfortable and welcomed. We had rooms at the top of the hotel El Cielo and La luna the detail to comfort and decor was exceptional. Although the climb up to the 3rd floor was at times taxing the views more than made up for it. The delicious breakfasts were served cheerfully and efficiently. Our stay at Casa Schuck was wonderful. The team there- Alejandra, Gabriel and Jorge- are just great. Everyone there is warm, friendly, and goes out of the way to help you and make you feel like part of the family. The hotel is beautiful, comfortable and well located. The breakfasts are excellent. It’s fun to meet the other guests and compare notes on what to see and do. We would definitely stay there again!

We had a great time at this hotel. Staff were friendly and obliging, room was beautiful, and breakfasts were delicious. The hotel is well situated in the center of San Miguel de Allende, and was well maintained with large terraces overlooking the town, and a pool to cool down in. The guests were a pleasure to be with, and the atmosphere was most pleasant. We will happily return to this hotel on our next visit to San Miguel.

Just completed 3 night stay at Casa Schuck. We loved staying here- so close to centro but very quiet peaceful place to stay- like staying in personal home. The flowers and ambiance at the hotel is so charming but the best part of staying at Casa Schuck is the warm welcoming staff, Alejandra and Gabriel were just delightful. So very welcoming and helpful in every way. They helped us with drivers, restaurants,etc. all recommendations were spot on. Breakfast is served in the dining room. Where we experienced visiting with other guests and exchanging information of the days activities. We highly recommend Casa Schuck and would stay here again 🩷

Casa Schuck is a fabulous boutique hotel. The rooms were too cute for words, exceptionally clean, inviting and cozy. We even had a fireplace in our room! Gabriel and Jorge, as well as everyone working there, were more than hospitable and accommodating. They treated us like royalty and helped coordinate drivers and give recommendations for local sites. The breakfast is over the top!! Our group probably had everything on their menu and the food was delicious. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel, the staff and our stay. This year marked our fifth trip to SMA and our second year staying at Casa Schuck. While we have enjoyed the other locations we'v stayed at in San Miguel, Casa Schuck is the best place we've found and will remain our go-to boutique hotel in the city. It is close, but not too close, to the jardin principal, just enough of a walk up the hill to be quiet and peaceful but within a few minutes walk to restaurants and museums and other places with visit. The rooms we've had have been spacious and well-appointed and the space, with the restful courtyard, the upper space with the small pool and the rooftop terraces, provides plenty of area for reading, talking, having a glass of wine, or just contemplating. The breakfasts are freshly prepared, with enough options for a week's plus stay, and tasty. But for us the best pat of staying at Casa Schuck is the staff, especially Alejandra and Gabriel. They are warm and inviting, helpful and knowledgeable, there when you need them. Returning this year felt like coming home again, thanks to them. Highly recommended.

Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay at Casa Schuck. We have 2 young children and the staff was kind enough to set up an additional bed to accommodate us in the biblioteca room. The breakfast is delicious and filling and they made hot chocolate for the kids which they loved! The room is very comfortable and well decorated. The patios are also great for reading and sitting in the shade. The location is only 5 minutes from the main square. The staff is truly exceptional and we want to thank them for their hospitality. Would 100% stay here again!

What sets the Casa Shuck ABOVE and beyond is the warm, friendly, outstanding personal service. Anything--and I mean anything--we needed was taken care of by Alejandra and her amazing staff. No request we made was out of their reach. They handled reservations, tours (based on our personal interests), guides and drivers. We were blown away. We had such a lovely experience, again! Casa Schuck is an intimate, old Mexico experience; the tranquility, staff and food are the ultimate. Alejandra, Gabriel, Christina (Javier?) went the extra mile in every way without being intrusive. The breakfast is wonderful and will keep you just fine until dinner. We all came to SMA for the first time for a family wedding and our experience was amazing! All the staff at Casa Schuck were incredible! Alejandra, Gabriel and Jorge were extremely helpful any time we needed to arrange outings/taxis and they did it with genuine love and care. When it threatened to rain on the big day, they created a plan B to cover the reception area and made it look gorgeous in record time! The hotel is incredibly charming and the views are outstanding! Casa Schuck is amazing! The property is authentic and beautiful. The staff is attentive and helpful. The food is prepared with joy and is so delicious. I felt like family while I was there. We visited San Miguel de Allende to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and had a wonderful stay at Casa Schuck. Alejandra, Jorge, and all of the staff went out of their way to make sure our stay was memorable--even messaging me before arrival to see if we needed help with reservations or other details. They made us feel at home. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, with lovely outdoor areas, uniquely decorated rooms, and a small, but charming swimming pool. It is a short walk downhill to the Jardin Allende and all of the sites, dining, and shopping in town, but far enough away to feel peaceful. We would definitely return to Casa Schuck!

Five stars are not enough! We cannot say enough good things about Casa Schuck! The customer service begins as soon as you book and doesn’t end until you have to leave. Our car transport and excursions were booked through the hotel with their recommendations. Every room is clean and beautiful in their own unique way. The views are simply amazing. The courtyard is so quiet and peaceful and you feel like you are staying at someone’s house with the personal attention that is received. Every morning, a delicious home-cooked breakfast is made special for you. The food was outstanding! We felt like a member of the family by the time we left. This is the only place we would stay in San Miguel de Allende!

We enjoyed our stay at Casa Schuck in San Miguel immensely. Our room was beautifully decorated, lots of space, lovely terrace to relax on, watch the sun set or read a book. The breakfasts, included in the stay, are delicious in the beautiful courtyard of this small hotel. So many great options to fuel your day of walking those hills! The hotel is immaculate, and the staff are all so lovely and welcoming. They go all out to help, making recommendations for restaurants and activities, setting up airport transfers, anything you need. We really enjoyed meeting Alejandra, Gabriel and Jorge. As soon as we made our reservation, a few months in advance, they reached out and helped us plan a great vacation, activities we wanted to do. All of the staff made our stay really special. If you are visiting San Miguel and want the boutique hotel experience, Casa Schuck is not to be missed!

This place is absolutely fabulous. We came for three nights, and stayed an extra two nights because we liked it so much. The rooms are comfortable and beautifully decorated. The courtyard and rooftop Terrace are beautiful. The breakfast is very good. The staff and service are exceptional. We’ve traveled a lot, all over the world, and this is one of our new favorite spots. A real gem.

We had a lovely stay at Casa Schuck during our first visit to San Miguel Allende. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The building and courtyard are beautiful. Service was excellent—friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the views from different shared spaces as well as our own balcony. Breakfast was good. Staff provided helpful advice about local attractions and eateries. The location was wonderful for views and walkability to the center. We would certainly return.

What a fabulous place. Beautiful, peaceful. Like living in a work of art. Gardens, rooftop, pool. Everything calm and wonderful to be with. Delicious cooked to order breakfast every morning in the garden. Wonderful comfortable room with everything you need. Pool just the right temperature. Most importantly, a big shout out to Jorges. Alexandria and Gabriel for their warmth, knowledge and help with cabs and dinner reservations and general guidance on the area. And making us feel so welcome…like we were coming home after going out exploring.

Casa Schuck is amazing. The staff, the property, and the rooms are fantastic. The pictures do not do it justice! However, what really makes this hotel so special are the staff. Alejandra, Gabriel and Jorge are great. Anything you needed they were there to help. It was my son's birthday, so Alejandra arranged a birthday cake and decorations for when we arrived. I really appreciate the extra customer service everyone provided. We are already planning our next visit !

Absolutely the most lovely, charming, comfortable bed and breakfast ever! From the moment we walked in until the last minute when we left, we were so thrilled with the level of service, the family atmosphere and the charm of Casa Schuck. Every single person was so friendly and helpful, we truly felt like family. The rooms are gorgeous, with very comfortable appointments and lots of details. The property is a smaller, private, oasis for adults, not really suitable for kids. The daily breakfast is incredible, and the views can not be beat. We highly recommend Casa Schuck if you are looking for a smaller, more intimate, more personal experience in San Miguel. Close to lots of restaurants and shopping, make sure to wear comfortable shoes for the cobblestone streets and the hills. We love CASA SCHUCK!!

To die for. Jackie O stayed here with her sister. Very elegant. They serve an over the top breakfast, which is included, in a lovely setting. The vibe is as if you are staying in your own hacienda. It is quiet, luxurious and an easy walk to all the delightful sights and restaurants of SMA. You will not be disappointed.

What a delight to stay in this charming, luxurious and well located hotel! We filled Casa Schuck with gal pals in early March 2025. The staff was amazing with attentive service, delicious food and going above and beyond for us everyday of our five night stay.

From the moment you enter Casa Schuck, you are warmly greeted and shown the premises. Exceptionally clean and charmingly appointed thus B & B was a delightful place to stay and explore San Miguel de Allende. The appeal goes beyond the looks of the Inn. The staff is available, friendly and provides all the tips and information of the area and arranges transportation without delay. Breakfasts are cooked to order and plentiful. Truly, we could not find anything to criticize! Definitely make this your place to stay. We would only return to Casa Schuck!

If you like to travel and stay in nice places, add Casa Schuck to your list! The genuine hospitality of the staff, the accommodations and the true “feeling” of Casa Schuck is exceptional. The authentic design, food, service and ambiance of every aspect of Casa Schuck was beyond my expectations. Slept amazing in a great bed, breakfast, guacamole and custom margaritas were outstanding and all the staff were available for any guidance we wanted on anything local. My biggest problem with my whole experience at Casa Schuck is deciding my favorite part, and that I had to leave. All of it was phenomenal. Everyone knew my name by the first morning, which I’ve never had anyone learn my name at a hotel in the first place, and that was just the start. Everyone was so kind and helpful. The room was fantastic, I was in the ‘El Amarillo’, and it was perfect. My normal morning alarm wake up sound is birds, and one morning I was so confused why my alarm was going off, it wasn’t, it was actually the birds outside my window. The beds were so comfortable and the there was plenty of space to spread out. I was with my mom and we both had plenty of room while still keeping our stuff separate. I highly recommend getting a margarita, they are some of the best ones I’ve ever had. The food was phenomenal, and the staff were so accommodating with a food intolerance, happily and quickly remaking a meal so my mom could eat with the rest of the group. I could go on for hours about how much I loved Casa Schuck. San Miguel is fantastic. If you are reading this, you are probably going on a trip there. You are already making the trip, save yourself some time and go ahead and book a room at Casa Schuck.

This was a fantastic introduction to San Miguel de Allende - the hotel is charming, quaint, historic, well-located and offers exceptional service. Alejandra and her team (Gabriel, Yves Albert, the night security guys and the amazing women in the kitchen) accommodated all my quirky requests. They made us great reservations for dinner and gave me all the soft pillows they could find! I will be back and HIGHLY recommend Casa Schuck!

A beautiful boutique hotel with unique rooms and great common spaces. The staff are incredibly welcoming and helpful.

We had a lovely 3 day stay at Casa Schuck. It’s walkable distance from the main square, has great views from its terrace and is far enough to be really quiet. The rooms are wonderful and the ambience of the B&B with the central courtyard transports you to another time. And the service is excellent. Diego and Gabriel deserve a special mention- they helped us book activities and dinners. Highly recommend

Casa Schuck is such a wonderful place! It holds a great story and history, the property is beautiful and welcoming, with perfectly decorated /appointed rooms. Beds are comfy, pretty balcony with French doors that open to gardens, and great views. The most outstanding customer service, they go above and beyond! Only one thing to point out there is no elevator which was not a problem for us, however if you have mobility issues it would be difficult to manoeuvre the property.

The premises were delightful. The breakfasts were tops.. The staff was incredible. The city very beautiful. Super clean and safe. People at all levels were friendly and hospitable.

Beautiful and comfortable

We loved the friendly staff and beautiful setting and gardens. Hats off to Alejandra, Gabriel, and Diego for making us so welcome and helpful. Just a wonderful little boutique hotel. Breakfast was very good. The view from our room was magical.

I can't say enough nice things about Casa Schuck. This place was simply wonderful. It's a beautiful bed & breakfast ("urban hacienda") situated 5 minutes from the central square in San Miguel de Allende. It's minutes from all of the major central town locations. We were greeted by the friendliest hosts and given the tour of the 8-10 bedroom B&B. Each room is decorated differently, and there's a central courtyard with a lovely public "living room" space and dining space located next to it. We stayed in El Sol, which had a small pool located just outside of it. The room was very comfortable and clean. We loved it. Breakfast was cooked and served (to order) each morning accompanied by freshly baked bread, fruit, and coffee/tea/orange juice. There was one morning when we had to leave a little before the official breakfast time to go on a tour, and Gabriel was able to ask the morning cook to come in a few minutes early and prepare a hot meal for us. That was just above and beyond and is a reflection of the kind off outstanding hospitality offered at Casa Schuck. I can't recommend this place highly enough. We will definitely stay there again the next time we visit San Miguel.

The breakfast was very good, the hotel is beautiful, and the staff went above and beyond to assist us.

Since its an older hotel, there were a few issues with the shower and fireplace, but nothing major or worth mentioning.

My girlfriend and I spent the weekend in San Miguel de Allende and couldn't have asked for a more comfortable and clean hotel. From the moment I made the reservation I was contacted by a representative who welcomed me and asked if there was anything I needed to ensure I had a great time during our stay. When we arrived we were greeted by a friendly staff who went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our time. The room was immaculate as far as cleanliness and we were fortunate to have a room with a wonderful view of the town center. I would like to provide additional positive feedback for Alex, Gabriel and Alejandra for their exceptional customer service and for providing information about the area. Again, the entire experience from customer service to room cleanliness to the variety and quality of breakfast options exceeded my expectations. This is the only place I would stay during future visits to San Miguel de Allende. Thank you very much for the great experience and hospitality!!

Stunningly beautiful hotel with warm and helpful staff and great central location. The hotel is in a beautiful old building with multiple flower filled courtyards, fountains and a roof deck with beautiful views over the city and plaza. The decor is stunning!!!! Beautiful art, furniture, wallpaper, murals and flowers and fountains everywhere! Really could not be lovelier. Location is a short walk from everything, the breakfasts are delicious and the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. A big shout out to everyone at the front desk who were so helpful and kind. A wonderful stay!!!

We spent 2 nights at this beautiful place. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was amazing and the all the staff treated us like family. They all take pride in there jobs and it truly shows.

We had a terrible experience at this hotel to begin with there wasn't any room service they did not have a restaurant you couldn't find anything to eat or drink after 10 AM second of all they don't except payments through Expedia , The room description is inaccurate , The price wasn't the same as Expedia we where Charged more at hotel than Expedia rate , they have no parking for guest we almost got ran over when we unloaded our baggage on the side of the road , it's very unsafe .

We really enjoyed our stay - Alejandra and the entire team could not have been more helpful and friendly! The room was clean and well-furnished (and others we could see looked beautiful too); clean linens; wine in the room; breakfasts were delicious and plentiful; the courtyard and the upper deck were great for relaxing. And the location is very close to town and the restaurants but quiet. We'll stay here again.

The most beautiful and luxurious “Bed & Breakfast” we have ever stayed in! The garden is serene with a gorgeous old tree, the art work and furniture is in perfect harmony with the surroundings. The lady in charge Alejandra is the most gracious host imaginable. We loved our stay!

The room was outstanding, the view magnificent, the breakfast unbelievably good but the most notorious was the service, one of the best places we have stayed, mil gracias a Alejandra and her staff for a wonderful vacation.

One of the most beautiful and comfortable hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The staff are wonderful, the breakfasts are delicious, and the location is perfect for touring San Miguel de Allende. My daughter and I stayed with them for a week in February 2020, and could not have had a better time.

This bed and breakfast was beautiful! We loved our room, beautifully adorned -the bed was extremely comfortable. It was quiet , spacious and lots of natural light. The grounds itself are beautiful with lots of different terraces and seating areas. Some shaded and some in the sun. Excellent places to view the sunset in the early evening. The only negative was the size of the pool. It was more of a wading pool rather than one to swim in. It was nonetheless beautiful and lots of great spaces to sit outside and visit or read. Great location as well. Staff were amazing and very helpful. When our flight was changed, they were already aware of it and called ahead to let our driver know we were going to need a different time for pick up back to the airport. The breakfast in the morning were delicious and rather than a typical buffet that you might expect out of B and B, we were handed a menu. Everything was absolutely delicious!

Really nice property, very helpful staff. Location is perfect and very quiet at night. Just wish there was heat in the bathroom.

Orbitz put us in the cheapest room in the hotel. We had to move. Our nw room was superb. Please don't be so cheap. it was a wonderfully fabulous hotel!

I would highly recommend this hotel. It is very beautiful and unique and in a great location. It's within walking distance of the main square. The service was fantastic! I do not have one negative comment to make - I will definitely return.

Casa Schuck was a last minute find on Hotels.com after there were complications with my Guanajuato city visit. I’m happy that happened because otherwise I would not have ended up here. It’s centrally located— an easy walk to the fabulous Cumpanio bakery and the Jardin. The rooms are beautiful, each unique and some with private terraces. The colors are brilliant, inside and outside — red-oranges, purples, yellows — and the cobalt blue pool. ( Too cold to swim in now for me but other guests took daily dips.) The breakfasts have menu choices and are tasty— for night owls like me breakfast until 10:30 am was a blessing. But perhaps the very best part of my stay was the wonderful people who work here: Alejandra, Cecilia, and Alvaro They made me feel as if Casa Schuck was my own home. I wish! My only disappointment was that at the last minute my husband had to stay in the U. S. However, after seeing my photos and hearing my description, he wants to come to Casa Schuck with me next year. Hooray!

We loved this bed and breakfast! We stayed in the El Sol room, which is right in front of the pool, so the pool is practically part of the room because as soon as you open the french doors of the room you are basically on the steps to go inside the pool. This was great for us since the hotel was not fully booked and we still had privacy. The room was perfect and the ceilings were actually higher than we expected, based on the photos they did not seem as high, so that was great it made the room feel bigger. We did get in the pool during our last day and as others have warned, it is not heated, it is very cold but you can get used to it once you are inside. We went in early September so the heat of the sun was still hot enough to make the cold dip in the pool worth it! Breakfast was delicious as well, the dining room was very nicely decorated and it was nice to get to know the other couples that were staying at the hotel. The staff was very nice and attentive. We were there for a wedding so when we arrived at night the doors were locked from the lobby, but we just had to knock to go in. The view from the rooftop terrace is amazing, you can see the main church from there and take some great photos. The hotel is conveniently located and walking distance to the main attractions. We definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in a unique bed and breakfast in SMA.

Overall first class experience, staff very attentive to all your needs, very friendly and helpful. The rooms are uniquely decorated, breakfast was very tasty!, the walk to local sites not far, but expect to walk on uneven grounds ( cobblestone throughout).

Very pretty boutique property. Does not really have AC, and staff quality is highly uneven.
