Buena locación, colorido y con una linda arquitectura.

Que no tiene estacionamiento, y con el.que tiene convenio está lejos del hotel. Y la persona de recepción no era la más comunicativa, fue amable (mínimo requerido) pero no atenta o disponible para dar informacion. El más amable del personal fue el velador que fue atento, amable y nos dio apoyo e información requerida.

HUYAN de este lugar. Para peor, el dueño quiere quedarse con el dinero: estafa total. No se dejen engañar. Nuestra experiencia fue absolutamente desagradable. La habitación estaba infestada de chinches; la cama literalmente llena. Nos dimos cuenta a media noche y tuvimos que salir de inmediato, sin poder descansar y con el estrés de haber estado expuestos a una plaga. Es un asco total y demuestra una falta gravísima de higiene. Además, lo que anuncian sobre el estacionamiento es engañoso. No cumplen con lo que prometen y cuando uno reclama, simplemente se lavan las manos. Intentamos solicitar un reembolso por una situación más que justificada y lo negaron sin ninguna consideración. Este lugar no debería estar operando en esas condiciones. Falta de limpieza, mala atención y cero responsabilidad con el cliente. Eviten este hotel a toda costa.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Room clean and comfortable. Very unique architecture with Don Quijote theme.

Nothing. I liked everything. But be warned: It is a very steep climb on narrow, cobbled, one-way street to Centro. Not for the faint of heart.

Cama cómoda. Edificio muy pintoresco. La terraza es buena, tipo un mirador. Se puede apreciar San Miguel de Allende de noche y es una vista increible. Está a 10 minutos caminando del centro, pero cansado ya que las calles de San Miguel son de subida o bajada.

No tiene estacionamiento propio, aunque tienen convenio con un estacionamiento público.

Street VERY close-VERY noisy especially of the motorbikes 4. At the TOP of the hill in SMA-easy walking down BUT MUST take an Uber or DiDi back up 5. No A/C AND the fan's lowest setting was WAY TOO HIGH 6. Host seemed to not speak even a single word of English-luckily I speak some Spanish 7. Took about 3-5 mins. for hot water in shower-lots of water wasted

Il faudrait préciser qu'il y a beaucoup d'escaliers pour accéder aux chambres et que la dustance vers la paroisse est de 600m mais avec une montée très prononcée.

Un poco la atención del personal, pero en líneas generales muy lindo todo.

La atención del personal fue excelente, siempre muy amables y resolvieron todas mis dudas, la habitación muy confortable pude descansar muy agusto durante mi estancia.

El lugar es rústico, muy del lugar, lo disfrutamos mucho. Te vas caminando al centro histórico en 8 minutos.

Location really close to the viewpoint of the whole town, amazing view from the rooftop , water pressure in the shower is good.

Bedsheet feels rough, there isn't enough lighting in the room, and because our room is on the street side, it is really loud during the day (luckily not so much late in the evening so that we could still sleep)

Netflix, Nice bathrooms. Moved to above ground room for nights three and four, and had good natural light, fair internet service and much warmer. The bed and pillows were also more comfortable.

Began the first two (of four) nights in underground room with little natural light, terrible internet service, musty and FREEZING. Really could use coffee pot or microwave in the rooms.

Que cambiaron la administración del hotel y no te incluye el costo del estacionamiento en la tarifa.Anteriormente te lo incluía y había valet parking y eso era fabuloso .El hotel no es malo pero creo que tendré que buscar otra opción con estacionamiento.

Había amenities en el baño por decir algo. Baño en la habitación. Tiene tele con mando y wifi. El tamaño de la habitación doble es aceptable.

Lejos (unos 15min) y en cuesta para llegar desde el centro. Media hora a pie a la estacion. No ofrece desayuno. Hay habitaciones a cota 0 pero a las plantas superiores se accede por un escalera de caracol muy estrecha. No apta para gran equipaje, vértigo o personas mayores. Nos recibió cada dia una persona con serias dificultades de dicción (en español). La habitación 4 es fría e imagino q en verano calurosa, pero cuenta con un ventilador. No estaba sucio pero había detalles q daban sensación de sitio destartalado, poco cuidado, mal acabado. No lo recomendamos

Me toco una habitación que para llegar a ella era a través de escalera de caracol. 2 escaleras. Pero es detalle creí que no para todo el mundo sería negativo. Es acogedor. Limpio y se duerme bien

ZEER VEEL geluid van de straat. Booking zei “kamer met zicht op het stad” en die hadden we niet. Op de boeking staat er “netflix of gelijkaardige streamingdiensten” maar die waren er ook niet. De locatie is niet fantastisch. Het is niet ver van het stadscentrum maar wel hoog gelegen dus warm je benen maar goed op. Toen ik met het hotel belde in het Engels werd er gewoon ingelegd, 2x! En dat nadat ik vroeg “Hablan Ingles” vroeg en zij Si Antwoorden.

La ubicación, estaba un poco lejos del centro y con muchas cuestas, aunque con un Uber podíamos llegar al hotel fácilmente. El wifi funcionaba fatal, y encima nuestra tarjeta sim de Telcel perdía la cobertura en la habitación.

The room was very pretty. The location was great - close to Centro but far enough way to be quiet. Very nice roof top area for sitting and views of the city. The staff lady was very friendly

Este "hotel" es una estafa. Está catalogado como de 3 estrellas, con 4.7 en Google Reviews y más de un 8 en Booking. Nada más alejado de la realidad. He estado en hostales juveniles más decentes que este supuesto hotel. Es muy antiguo, sucio, ruidoso, con pésima aislación visual y acústica, mal decorado, mal iluminado, con toallas y ropa de cama literalmente deshilachadas, gastadas y desteñidas. Los colchones, las almohadas, el plumón, las cortinas... todo es de pésima calidad y se nota (sobre todo las toallas). Uno llega a la habitación y siente de inmediato el olor a humedad, la oscuridad, los millones de ruidos exteriores, la falta de privacidad. Es imposible dormir y descansar. Nuestra habitación quedaba en el subsuelo y ni siquiera tenía ventana! Sólo una puerta. El internet funcionaba pésimo. Pese a que era un viaje de turismo, con mi marido tuvimos que trabajar de urgencia y fue imposible. Nos vimos obligados a irnos a un café que tuviera WiFi. Este lugar solamente es bonito por fuera y nada más. La atención es pobre, la persona que atiende hace todo ella sola y con suerte habla. La ubicación no es mala, pero tampoco es la ideal. Está en subida y caminando al centro son 20-25 minutos. No entiendo de dónde salen todos esos comentarios positivos, ¿será que borran los negativos? No lo sé, pero no volveré y no lo recomiendo bajo ninguna circunstancia.

The staff was very friendly. The bed was comfortable. Bathroom was modern and well equipped.

No coffee/tea available in rooms or in lobby. There was no place to sit in the rooms and no common area. The hall lights shined into our room and you couldn’t block out with the curtains provided. We were near the laundry and the dryer squealed for hours every day. Thankfully not at night. We expected views at the location and our rooms and friend’s rooms didn’t have views.

Room and bathroom were big. Clean.

Very nosey. No amenities. Repeatedly had to ask for TP and shampoo. Stated coffee was available, but was instant.

La chica era un encanto, la habitación dentro de todo estaba limpia y aunque no está en el centro centro está cerca caminando.

Una de las almohadas estaba manchada, no funcionaban los enchufes de la habitación y el colchón se iba del lado izquierdo como si estuviera roto. Y al ser la última habitación de arriba hacia muchísimo calor. No hay A/C sino ventilador

El personal es, sin duda, el alma de este lugar, desde el primer momento te reciben con una calidez y amabilidad que te hacen sentir bienvenido y cuidado. Siempre atentos, con una sonrisa y dispuestos a solucionar cualquier duda o necesidad. La habitación era cómoda y estaba impecablemente limpia, lo que demuestra un gran cuidado por los detalles y el bienestar de los huéspedes. La ubicación también resultó ser muy práctica.

Sinceramente, no encontré ningún aspecto negativo durante mi estancia. La experiencia fue redonda y superó lo que esperaba. Lo recomendaría sin dudarlo.

Ubicación: sobre una calle principal entrando a San Miguel. Pasan varias rutas de autobús para sustituir el auto. Parada enfrente. A 5 min del centro. Incluso caminando. Habitación: muy limpia. De buen espacio. No demasiado grande pero todo lo necesario. Baño amplio. Cama y almohadas súper cómodas! Personal: muy atento y servicial. Terraza: muy sencilla, básica, es prácticamente la azotea con algunas mesitas y sillas, con bonita vista a San Miguel y muy agradable para ver el atardecer.

Estacionamiento: hay que pagar $200 por noche para estacionar a 700 m del hotel. WiFi: no llega a las habitaciones del fondo. Dificulta mucho trabajar en la habitación Ruido: Se escucha perfectamente el ruido que hacen en las habitaciones de arriba, y al subir escaleras. No afecta significativamente, pero si estás buscando un sitio de descanso y relajación, no. Trabajar en línea, no. Práctico y cómodo para moverte en la ciudad, sí, mucho. Restaurante: no es precisamente negativo. No cuenta con uno, pero no hace falta. Hay muchas opciones cercanas.

Desde el momento que me resivieron fueron Muy amables, atentos. Un detalle especial en un pizarron que me hizo sentir en casa. Recomineto al 100000 el lugar .

Unfortunately I struggle to understand the excellent reviews on this place. I had really high hopes, after reading the fantastic reviews, but it definitely didn't live up to expectations. The location was good, although uphill, and the staff were helpful but that's about it. The rooms were basic, no hairdryer or tea/coffee making as advertised. Bed was very hard and the shower took a long time to get hot. The place was also noisy with traffic and noise of other people talking.

Very clean and well located with extremely helpful staff. Good value. I would stay again.

El lugar se encuentra bien, lamentablemente el no contar con A/C, es un inconveniente. La ubicaciòn es complicada, porque se encuentra en una zona alta (si desea caminar).

El lugar es pequeño pero perfecto, inpecable, la verdad el personal y la chica que te recibe super amables, atentos, simplemente excelente lugar, limpieza inpecable, cama super cómoda limpia, muy rica la verdad. No pongo 5 estrellas, porque el lugar no tiene estacionamiento propio en el lugar, hay que pagar una pensión de autos que está a unos 400 metros del lugar la cuota por noche es de $300 y se termina hasta las 2:00 PM. Si son personas mayores les recomiendo soliciten habitación en la planta baja ya que las habitaciones superiores hay que subir por escalera de caracol.

Rooftop terrace was nice.

The room we booked was given to a customer that complained about his room. We booked a room with a balcony and they gave us a first floor with a broken window which was the room the other customer did not want. When I communicated this to them they told me they were no more rooms that day and put blue tape to secure the window. I was not happy about it and asked them to do something. They said they could move us to a room with balcony the next day. I contacted Booking about this. After this conversation, the manager of the property said they were going to refund us for the night we spent on the first floor unit with broken window, but in check out they said Booking would contact us about this. We are still waiting.They moved us to the third floor on the next day. We had heavy luggage and there was no elevator. It is a narrow spiral staircase. Third floor room was always hot and there was no AC. They provided a fan. The hotel is on a hill if you are not planning to walk, you will have to take a cab or bus from the center to get there. We walked most of the time and did not mind, but not everyone would enjoy this.

El personal muy amable y buena onda, el hotel muy bonito, la habitación cómoda, al principio parecía que la habitación no estaba lista pero al final la estancia fue muy agradable;) solo se escucha mucho ruido por la noche pero en recepción tienen tapones de oídos

Place itself is nice, house is charming, rooms look like the pictures, people/staff were friendly, let me switch rooms when mine was too loud.

First night I had a room by the reception/street that was too bright and too loud due to street noises, bells etc. Asked for a change the next day, was no problem and I did appreciate the possibility. Private terrace/balcony as indicated wasn't really the case. The hotel is technically close to the centre, however it is very high up on the hill. The walking is steep!

Hotel is a short 8 min walk from Centro. Clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff. The view from the rooftop is spectacular!

Staff was gave me good advice where should l visit. It was hard to get there because it was up a hill, but the view was great. The facility was old,but keep clean.

It was a little far from the center and I arrived late so I didn't have the energy to go out for a meal.

This boutique hotel was just perfect for our stay. Eveything was within walking distance, rooms were so clean and comfortable. The owners were great hosts and the hospitality was over the top. We attended the Dia de los Muertos events over the weekend and the hotel was decorated for the celebration. We had an amazing time and stay. Would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend it. Thank you Oscar for everything!

The property manager Oscar was so warm and helpful. My room was well stocked and maintained. The property is beautiful even though it wasn’t very “fancy.” The hotel is located uphill from Centro so it’s not an easy walk. But taxis and buses are readily available close by. I really enjoyed my stay.

Excellent value

It’s so quaint and beautiful. It has a rooftop with an amazing view of the entire city. The best part, though, is the manager, Oscar. I’ve never stayed in any hotel, not even a Grand Tourism one that had a manager so nice and available to help!

The stairs might make some rooms impossible to access for the handicapped. But this was not an issue in my case. In fact, Oscar made a point of giving the easiest room to access to my 93-year old father, who managed just fine.

En general, bien.

Contemporary art in combination with a beautiful historical style with attention to detail that lives up to the name “Don Quijote”. You feel transported back in time. And I slept like a stone. Located in the east of San Miguel de Allende, yet very conveniently situated to the points of interest. A truly lovely place, with a great host and nice staff. You cannot go wrong. Come.

Has a terrace where you can enjoy the view and relax, steep spiral to get there tho lol. stairs parking is a couple blocks away but included on the rate. Every person we met at the little front desk was super helpful and friendly. Not fancy, but clean, simple and convenient.
