Heerlijke ruime kamer en badkamer op een boerderij. Prachtige rustige omgeving. Heerlijk ontbijt voor ons gemaakt. Vlakbij het mooie stadje Hexham en minder dan een uur van Newcastle.We komen hier graag terug. Prijs was uitstekend.

Beautiful rural farmhouse

De omgeving was prachtig. De accommodatie ligt prachtig en het was er erg rustig.

Onze 9 jarige zoon wilde graag kaas bij z’n ontbijt maar helaas hoorde dat niet tot de mogelijkheden😜

This was the perfect choice of accommodation for our family of 7 (grandparents, parents and young children). Elizabeth was incredibly kind, greeting us warmly and showing us to our rooms. We were in awe of the lovely accommodation and surrounding property and gardens. The rooms were comfortable, spacious and clean. Breakfast was delicious, and we only wished we had more than one night! Definitely recommend to anyone travelling through. Fabulous stay!!

It’s beautiful and full of character we watched the horses come back in from our window there were chickens out in the farm wondering around. The location is beautiful and rooms very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing and the local pub the rose and crown had the best menu I had seen

Etwas abgelegen, dafür äusserst ruhig und angenehm ist die Lage. Die Unterkunft ist sehr authentisch, das Zimmer nicht sehr gross und die Gastgeberin sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und richtig englisch.

Solange man auf der engen Zufahrt keinen Gegenverkehr hat, hat allles gepasst :-)

This is a very quiet, green and lovely place, well cared for. Lots of storage in our room and thoughtful details like small side tables and proper lighting. And a tub! Proprietress made excellent breakfasts to order. Good mattresses!

Just a few things- it's not situated for long walks, as it's within a series of farms, but walks can be had by driving to places nearby. Floor was creaky, which was ok as no one was downstairs. Room wasn't well designed for hot days, but fan supplied

The cottage is so beautiful! Located in a lovely rural area, full of nature and farm animals around. We came here as a family and truly enjoyed our time.The staff was very kind and so hospitable. The rooms were very comfortable; breakfast was delicious as well. We truly enjoyed our time there and wished we stayed even longer!

Great quiet location outside of Hexham. Comfortable room and facilities with a great host. Delicious and plentiful breakfast. Great insights to local attractions. Nearby pub was a good place for evening meals.

Everything was perfect as always! We have come to think of this as our 2nd home every year now! Elizabeth was amazing. Everyone we met whilst staying here were super friendly! We love hearing the sounds of the sheep. It was lovely to get little squeeks of acknowledgement from Poppy the farm cat too! See you next year xx

Really lovely place, in a great location for a local wedding at Healey Barn. The hosts were very accommodating to my needs, allowing an early check-in and late night return after the wedding. I booked a double room and my room had a lovely double bed and a single as well. There was also a pull out bed underneath the main bed. Very comfortable and very spacious. Will definitely return if I need to stay in the area again.

Elizabeth is a great host. My wife and I shared a large bright and comfortable room. Convivial breakfast dining. A real countryside retreat that is but a short drive to Hexham or Corbridge. You are treated like one of the family.

A hidden gem near Hexham in a beautiful spot with great views all around. Great value for money and a very friendly host. We visited the nearby Rose and Crown for our evening meal which was also top notch! A very spacious room with nice comfortable beds. An all around amazing stay and we will definitely be back in the future.

Amazing, was a lovely location, beautiful host and very clean and well kept room. Our room was quite large and had everything we needed staying with our toddler.

There was a little miscommunication about the laundry, the info in our room said the first load was free but we were charged for it anyway.

Rye Hill Farm is in a beautiful, peaceful location. Our room was immaculate and everyday was checked for tea/coffee milk always supplied. Breakfast every morning was an absolute treat all fresh and homemade jams. The cooked breakfast by the fabulous host Elizabeth who was an absolute joy to talk to each morning.

Stunning farmhouse B&B. Warm, quiet and comfy. Good breakfast. Friendly and dog friendly. This is a lovely farmhouse right out in the Northumberland countryside. Do bear in mind that there are no restaurants near by for your evening meal but Hexham is only a few miles away. Perfect for star gazing. No light pollution at all. Simply lovely.

Our stay at Rye Hill Farm was fantastic. We had a lovely room with plenty of space for our dog as well as us. The bed was very comfortable with perfect pillows! The facilities were very good with access to a washing machine as well as a microwave. Elizabeth is an exemplary host and always very helpful and knowledgeable. Her breakfasts were also excellent. Great stay and we will definitely be returning.

The location was beautiful: right in the middle of the countryside, as we expected. The room was spotlessly clean and breakfast was very tasty, with a good selection. The bed and pillows were very comfortable: we always seem to struggle with pillows, but they were just right for us.

We were a little disappointed with the room size and facilities, particularly the shower, as the room was described as a deluxe king. We have stayed in rooms before described as deluxe which have provided much more for a similar fee.

3 out of 4 found the beds comfortable Maybe an option of a thicker mattress topper being available on request for both single and double beds and different thickness pillows. Although there is a laundry room on site an iron and board in the cottage would have been useful .

This was our second stay at Rye Hill Farm ,and won’t be our last. It’s in a beautiful area and so peaceful. The attention to detail in every area didn’t go unnoticed and Elizabeth was the perfect host . Really lovely breakfast too, set you up for the day.

All was very good. Staff was very friendly. Cleanness was 5+, the only think could be improve is the smell in the room and a socket by the bed to charge phone. breakfast was fantastic, homemade jam/marmalade, fresh baked bread....yummy, yogurt, cereals, full English breakfast, butter in a fancy shape...all very good.

Family run, everyone was helpful and friendly and quick to help us find our room. We were leaving early the next morning so the lady kindly left us breakfast things out as we weren't going to be there for breakfast service.

Elizabeth was very friendly and a wonderful hostess. The room was beautiful and comfortable. The breakfast was made to order with homemade bread and jam. There were also continental breakfast options available. We really enjoyed walking around and seeing the sheep and the gorgeous country views. We would love to come and visit again. We were in the self-catering cottage. The property was clean and well-equipped. Could have done with instructions for the oven but we eventually got the hang of it. We loved the proximity of the animals and the freedom to roam the farmyards, and Northumberland is lovely in the Autumn. You're within a short drive of Hexham and Corbridge, which are both worth a visit. You're also not far from Hadrian's Wall. Also, The Rose and Crown in Slaley serves lovely food and has a great atmosphere.
