Hospitality was first class. Room was a little small but exceptionally clean. Really enjoyed the experience.

​We had an amazing stay at this guest house. Our host, Keith, was incredible—everything was organized down to the finest detail. He was extremely kind and gave us excellent local recommendations, including great places to eat and a must-try visit to Nardini for ice cream. ​Knowing we were a bit tired of the traditional Scottish breakfast, Keith kindly prepared a delicious, fresh fruit-based breakfast for us, complete with wonderful homemade bread baked by his wife. ​The room was very comfortable, equipped with everything we needed, and the beds were exceptionally cozy. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and highly recommend staying here!

Such a warm welcome from Keith. Our room was immaculate as was the shared bathroom and toilet. Breakfast was delicious, fresh fruit followed by full breakfast served with homemade pancakes just perfect. Will definitely return and would recommend to anyone.

The owner Keith was very welcoming and very helpful. We had a lovely stay in this excellent guest house. Our room was extremely comfortable with everything we needed. An added bonus was a mini fridge in our room with real milk. We also thoroughly enjoyed the delicious breakfast.

A lot of rules needed to be spelled out. They all made sense; it makes one wonder what type of clientele have passed through the place. Nothing amiss, we had a very comfortable night and a decent breakfast.

Breakfast was amazing. I enjoy fruit and the lovely dish with the assorted fresh fruit was a treat to the eyes and the tastebuds. The fresh home made bread was a lovely treat and the cooked breakfast was hot and very tasty with a wonderful selection.

There was no element I could complain about from the welcome to the room,the food and the relaxed atmosphere.

The breakfast here is really great if you eat meat, if you’re a veggie please tell the B&B owner before hand. They made an effort even though they didn’t have much in so they do strive to provide for you. The location is great really near the train station and the town is a short walk away. Nice views from the room, very clean property all round, well looked after and there was a garden table to sit at outside in the nice weather. At night I couldn’t hear anyone else everyone staying was very friendly and respectful.

The mattress was very soft and could be replaced soon. I do think the owners needs to have a stock of veggie items on hand for breakfast people won’t always remember to tell them in advance, my mum in law had just passed away so it wasn’t on our minds. We were reminded at breakfast we should have mentioned the veggie breakfast in advance.

Es war sehr sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet. Im Zimmer gab es neben den üblichen Kaffee und Tee Zutaten auch frisches kaltes und zimmerwarmes Wasser. Die Betten wurden von Henry und Henriette, zwei Stoff-Highlands-Rindern bewacht. Frühstück große Klasse mit selbst gemachtem Brot, Obstbecher mit verschiedenen frischen Obst. Keith war super nett und hat uns tolle Tipps für das Abendessen und was wir am nächsten Tag besichtigen können. Es gab auch eine schöne Raucherecke.

We liked that on approaching the B&B we could see the stunningly beautiful garden. The consideration and helpfulness of Keith that definitely went above and beyond when we had a problem with our car. The beautiful interior of the premises. Loved the room we stayed in (we'll be returning to the same room without a doubt). Also the spacious very well decorated dining room in which a comfortable ambience has been created. The breakfast itself is by far the best B&B breakfast we've had. There was a fabulous variety of breakfast items on offer, from the usual to croissants, fruit bowls etc. We particularly loved the fruit bowls which had a wide variety of various fresh fruits with greek yogurt, they were delicious. I requested a low fat breakfast which was provided, beautifully cooked and presented. My partner had a full cooked breakfast that he also thoroughly enjoyed. This is a beautiful B&B, a great price for the stay we had. Run by really lovely people who most definitely have created a very welcoming area for their guests to just chill and enjoy. Everything from the garden to the furnishings and the food is of a superb quality. I couldn't rate our stay any higher. Thank you both for a lovely stay we'll be returning.

A very good stay at Largs - B&B run by our very helpful and friendly host, very well located a short walk to the busy town. Room was very well furnished with everything we needed, clean and comfortable, if compact!. Beautiful breakfast.

We really enjoyed our stay at St. Leonards Guest House. We received a very warm welcome from Keith, both at the guest house and in Scotland itself. He kindly supported us with our travel plans and gave us great tips for the region. The room was clean and had everything we needed — from small things like cotton swabs to towels, tea, and a TV — and it was all decorated with great care and attention to detail. We especially loved the flowers in the garden in front of the house 😉. We would come back here again without hesitation. Thank you, Keith!

Location was perfect for our needs and easy for the taxi to drop us off. Keith was there to greet us on arrival and couldn't have been more helpful - he gave us advice about places to eat that proved to be spot on. Breakfast was excellent, totally flexible to whatever you want. On our checkout day Keith helped us by looking after our luggage until we needed it and took us where we needed to go. Absolutely first class!

When I arrived at St Leonards Guest House I was not feeling very well. Keith was very friendly and attentive by offering me a hot bottle and so on. Everything was very clean and spotless. The fruit salad at breakfast was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend St Leonards Guest House to everyone .

Warm cosy room with lots of little bits and bobs to make your stay more comfortable. Extremely pleasant host who makes a mean breakfast. Very relaxed stay and the place was immaculate.

Keith couldn't have been more hospitable and friendly. Room was small, but perfectly suited for me and a single night, shared toilet and shower, was new to me, but no issues, didn't cross any other guests till breakfast, so absolutely peaceful stay and should i travel out to largs again i will not hesitate to stay again or recommend to anyone and everyone.

I would have liked a window i could look out of. Not a problem nor a complaint just answering the question. The room i slept in had a window positioned high. But none the less it was a great stay

Breakfast was very good plenty of options. Property location is good for town access and easy to find.

There was a bit of traffic noise but nothing to put me off staying there.

The breakfast was lovely. Despite having the late breakfast slot I did not feel hurried and there was lots of choice on the menu. The food was fresh, hot and tasty. The room was cosy and had comfy seats for relaxing when not in bed. Our host was very informative and accommodating.
