Easy self checkin, with clear instructions received ahead of our stay with all required information. Private parking was available at the front of the property and once checked in, our room was very clean with lots of local information. The bathroom wasn’t large but was absolutely fine for us and had free toiletries and fluffy towels. The bed and pillows were super comfortable with a lovely snuggly duvet. It was a very short walk to the centre of Largs where there were many shops, sights, pubs and places to eat. We had a good nights sleep and in the morning went to the breakfast room where Ian took our order for hot food. Breakfast was top quality, freshly prepared, piping hot and huge, and was one of the best breakfasts we have ever had.

It was a warm night so we slept with the window open and early in the morning you could hear some road noise which was expected. The middle of the night was quiet.

This was an amazing stay! The location was very close to the town and the venue we were attending for a wedding. The breakfast on the morning was beautiful and we were accommodated to throughout our stay. The staff were amazing and extremely friendly!

There was nothing I could complain about.

The room was spotless. Shampoo, shower gel and conditioner were provided, as was liquid soap, small bars of soap, make up removal wipes, a vanity kit, notepad, pen, teas, coffees, biscuits, bottles of water, a fridge, corkscrew, glasses, local maps and tourist information. We were a 3 minute walk to the nearest supermarket and a few minutes more walking brought you to the sea front. The cooked breakfasts were amazing, large portions of piping hot food. There was also an extensive selection of chilled foods, yogurts, bread, cereal, granola, fruit etc. Everything was beyond our expectations.

There is nothing to dislike about this property. It is amazing and we highly recommend it.

Lovely Guest House with very good facilities Breakfast very good and plenty even I could not eat it all! Proper Scottish Breakfast with plenty of Mushrooms! Been at this Establishment before a few years ago Certainly a nice place to relax and in reasonable distance from Railway station and town centre as well as sea. Hope to visit this hotel again. The room has a good Fridge!

Not much the only nigily thing is Tv is an app tv which i find frustrating but I'm not there to watch television.

The room was a great size, well presented and spotless. It had everything we needed. There was plenty of tea, coffee and bottled water. The breakfast was brilliant. Easy check in.

We booked 3 rooms and the next day we all commented how cold it got at night. The heaters weren’t turned off, so we had no way to adjust this.

Wee gem of a place 5 mins from town , lovely comfortable room with nice extra touches . Great breakfast whether cooked or continental. Nice quiet location, highly recommend.

The room was well equipped, with a fridge and table and chairs to facilitate consumption of picnic-style meals. Breakfast options were good. There was some difficulty with the the self check-in, but the owners were available on the phone to sort this out immediately.

The toilet/shower room was extremely small!

Communication with the owner was excellent, I had originally booked 2 nights with a very late check-in as we would be travelling back from Oban late evening. The owner pointed out this was not a good idea - dark, unfamiliar roads. I changed the booking to one night and it worked well. Nice quiet location. Great facilities, nice library by the door, plenty of tea/coffee and water plus fridge. Sitting area in the room. Fabulous breakfast, as much as you could eat and plenty of help yourself extras.

The accommodation is a little out of the centre but if you are eating in Largs you probably need a walk afterwards.

Room was immaculate and had everything for an overnight stay. Tea and coffee making facilities, 2 bottles of water in the fridge. Hair and shower gel in the bathroom. Cannot fault, great value and the breakfast was superb. Hosts very genuine people . Would definitely use again.

It was a lovely relaxing retreat after a family wedding hosted nearby. We had three beautiful rooms, all en suite, modern decor, comfortable beds and lovely and clean. Ian and Amy were very welcoming in the dining room in the morning and we were spoiled for choice, but underestimated the size of full Scottish breakfast, but just what we needed to soak up the alcohol from previous nights celebrations. We took a short walk down to the sea front and spent some time soaking up the sea air and lovely sunshine before heading back to get the car and travel back home. Rebecca was very accommodating when booking and we were able to arrange an earlier check in as our wedding was at 2pm.

No complaints regarding the property.

Staff (Rebecca) was very helpful in securing the accommodation to coincide with a family wedding nearby. We also arranged for early check-in which was not a problem. Very friendly and helpful owners.

Breakfast was ok but a bit impersonal

Room well thought out and had every amenity you could wish for. Spotlessly clean and well appointed. Bed comfortable. Key boxes easy to use. Rules for room clear and concise. Located in quiet street a short walk from the main town. Wi Fi and Parking which are necessary for most of my trips. Breakfast was big and tasty and freshly made. Staff very pleasant.

When we arrived, there had been a glitch with booking.com and there was no room available. This was no fault of the guest house and they went out of their way to direct us to another nearby hotel. They allowed us to use the restroom and what we did see of the lobby and breakfast room was that they were immaculate and well-appointed. There was also on-site parking and the location was perfect. Off the beaten path but right in town for easy walking to shops and restaurants or a stroll along the ocean boardwalk. The hosts are the nicest people.

The property was easy to access, great parking facilities and my room was exceptional. All the little details had been thought about and it was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was fantastic, and very filling! Thank you Ian and co for a lovely stay, I will definitely be back again!

You will need a big appetite to eat the breakfast it would feed a family of four, it is also a fantastic order of food well cooked very hot and staff are very attentive. Free parking handy for the town centre would love to have stayed longer but the wife had to be home for dialysis,

Location was great to walk into Largs Town, or from the Railway Station. Breakfast was very generous and plenty of choice including choice of teas. Also, in the room was tea/coffee/biscuits. Easy self checkin and contact numbers if there were any queries. Car parking available as well.

Lovely, thoughtfully decorated and spotlessly clean room. Host was super friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was amazing. Good choice of hot and cold foods - I ended up going with an omelette which was one of the best ones I've ever had. Many thanks - will definitely be staying again if in the area!

Parking, comprehensive & thoughtful provision of what a guest would need, cleanliness, superb breakfast.

Take an eye mask. We were kept awake by the number of lights that were on during the night and couldn’t be turned off. The worst was the TV which - inexplicably - had an intermittent one changing in intensity every so many minutes!

Very clean comfortable room with a small but adequate ensuite. Breakfast was exceptional.

I liked everything

Bed was super comfortable however TV was on the side which made difficult to watch. The room was quite big. Bathroom very small with shower but everything looked lovely. We left before breakfast so can't comment on that.
