The staff where absolutely amazing so friendly and alway around to help

The hosts were the highlight, they couldn't do enough for you.

Very friendly, very accommodating, nice homely feel to the place, clean rooms. Kids were very welcomed and really enjoyed their stay too.

Mattress was a bit springy 🤣.

Lawrie & Caron are SO nice nothing was too much trouble. I took my 2 Grandkids to see the lights. They have both recently been on holiday to Jamaica. My Grandson said “its like the 5 STAR Hotel here, like when we where on holiday” They were both sad to be going home. The Penrhyn, will be my “go to place” in Blackpool from now on

The breakfast was excellent and probably the best we had on our holiday. The hosts were both excellent and really friendly.

We had a very small room and for future stays we would ask for a larger room. We had a lot of luggage due to this being part of a longer trip so we struggled for space.

They are a really lovely friendly couple, nothing was to much trouble, fountain of knowledge on blackpool , best place to eat, entertainment, etc Even helping with getting information on transport (ie trams and busses) Breakfast outstanding Will be back again Sending love to my mate Gary the cat 😺

Great location close to north pier, quiet and lots of street parking, we received a very friendly welcome, very knowledgeable about Blackpool, value for money, great breakfast

The hosts were so welcoming and friendly, it was beautifully clean and also away from the hustle and bustle of central Blackpool. The beds were dreamily comfortable and breakfast was amazing. There wasn't a thing that I could complain about. My children were put at so much ease. From first ringing the bell we were greeted warmly at the door and check-in was a smooth easy process, my youngest son is fussy with breakfast as he doesn't like some breakfast items so they asked each specific item and made his breakfast to order, we were asked about any food allergies and if we needed any local advice which we were told of attractions that I hadn't heard of and also there was the offer of help with if we needed takeaway/restaurant advice too. After that we were shown to our spacious, well appointed and clean room with crisp linen and soft and comfortable duvet and pillows and mattresses that were a dream to sleep on. We had a lovely sleep, it was so peaceful we thought that we were the only guests there at the time, there was no noise from outside either, such a great location, we were even able to park outside on the street free of charge and there was ample amount of space when we arrived around 11am to do so. My friend and I vape and we sat outside at a lovely patio area with artificial grass, a rattan furniture set included a coffee table with a drink and a lovely chat each time with the hosts, they were so friendly and made us all feel very welcome. The quality of the breakfast was fabulous. There was a range of fruit juices plus tea and coffee on offer for drinks, our full cooked English breakfast plus we were offered fresh fruit, yogurts and cereal.

Owners were very friendly and chatty. Breakfast was delicious and room very clean.

Fantastic host… perfect position for a city tour

Great hosts very friendly and helpful . I loved Garry the little black and white cat. He has a character all of his own! Great location. The free breakfast was very very yummy! The location is great close to sea front and very accessible to the tram systwm and local convenience stores very close by.

The family room i booked was perfect for me and my grandchildren and the breakfast was lovely. Roy and Caron simply couldn't do enough for us. The tram stop was just at the top of the street making it easy for us to enjoy all that Blackpool offers and i would highly recommend.

Cheap and cheerful, close to the sea

First room was on the top floor and was far too hot and small. Bathroom was tiny with a very small sink and low mirror for shaving etc. Low water pressure for showering. Bed was very uncomfortable. To be fair when complaints were brought up the owners moved me to another room which was better. Breakfast was fine with plenty of choices.

We had such a wonderful stay at the Penrhyn Hotel. The hosts were incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. They have created such a lovely family atmosphere, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, and it was clear how much pride they take in what they do. They were so informative and helpful, always happy to offer advice and recommendations. The hotel is fantastic for families with children, and the genuine kindness and warmth of the hosts made our stay even more special. We left feeling like we’d been looked after by friends rather than just staying at a hotel. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Penrhyn Hotel and would love to return.

Lawri or Laurence is a consumate hospitality exponent and together Caron and Lawrence really make any person's stay enhanced by the advice and knowledge they both have of their town and environment 👍. Really engaging and convivial with socialising. Will gladly visit again and recommend anyone on booking.com to do the same.

Gospodarze byli bardzo mili i pomocni pod każdym względem. Bez żadnych problemów mogliśmy pozostawić bagaż po wymeldowaniu i komfortowo spędzić kolejny dzień w Blackpool. Poranna kawa na morzem do którego jest zaledwie 3 mim, śliczny ogród nad jego brzegiem gdzie można usiąść i spokojnie się zrelaksować są dużym atutem. Miejsce jest ciche i bardzo przyjazne dla osób szukających odpoczynku. Na pewno wrócimy i to może jeszcze tego lata.

Lovely traditional English B&B, exactly what I expected. Location is perfect - a bit away from noise of Central Blackpool. Nice safe street where I had no problem of getting on street parking. Short 2mins walk to tramstop(Cliffs hotel). You can walk to Blackpool itself for 30mins ish or use very reliable public transport nearby. Great lovely couple as hosts who are serving yummy English breakfast :) good value for money.

Great hosts, very hospitable, we had to leave early in the morning so they put breakfast on for us earlier than normal. The location is great, easy to walk to the seafront and tram stop. Free on street parking too.

THE HOSTS ARE SO ACCOMMODATING THE BREAKFAST IS DEFINITELY VFM. THEY COULDN'T DO ENOUGH FOR YOU.THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS NICELY AWAY FROM ROWDY BLACKPOOL IF YOUR GOING WINTER GARDENS ITS A 30 MIN WALK FROM THERE BUT TRAM ETC ON THE DOORSTEP.

WE WAS IN THE STANDARD ROOM WHICH WAS ADEQUATE BUT BEING 6FT PLUS AND 58 INCJ CHEST THE BED WAS TOO SMALL THE SHOWER WAS A CHALLENGE.DONT GET ME WRONG IT WAS VALUE FOR MONEY AND WOULD STAU AGAIN IN A DIFFERENT ROOM.

My son and I stayed overnight, owners couldn't be nicer and incredibly welcoming. They offered great advice about getting the best prices for the local attractions and transport tickets. Would happily book this accommodation again.

This place is NOT a hotel. Even at this price point we expected much better. Old, tired, worn out and filthy. Booked for two nights, left after one. Scolding hot water in the very small shower. Just knock the control whilst getting washed and you will get burnt. Back of the toilet is leaking onto the floor. Worn out mattress. Burn mark on pillow case.Dirty cups and coffee pot at breakfast. I could go on and on.

Only stayed for one night but was made to feel very welcome,it was great value and nothing seems to much trouble.If we returned to Blackpool would definitely stay here again.

Great friendly place. Laurie was very welcoming and very helpful. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. Stayed in a family room which gave us extra room. The room was clean and comfy. Nice little touch having a bottle of water in the room.
