Close to Istiklal Street and Taksim Square (uphill walk from the hotel itself). Five-star amenities throughout, extremely polite and accommodating staff. Nickelodeon Play Access with daily shuttle was a great outlet for the kids since the hotel has no pool — though the spa and Turkish hammam are excellent. Great on-site restaurants, outstanding daily breakfast with good variety.

No pool on-site, otherwise no complaints.

When booking, I booked a room with two beds without breakfast, but after that it turned out that they thought that the room was two beds only for one person. I didn't see this when booking, and I sent them a few days before going, they saying that it's for someone, I say how for someone, and I have booked three rooms, and I always stay in this hotel, at every visit, this is my hotel I go to. I told them well, for only one room, make an exception for the entry of two people, I booked two beds and without breakfast, if with breakfast, there is a cost, but I booked, and the room is for me with two beds, they didn't answer me, and when I entered, they asked me for the second person, if I entered to pay 50 euros per day, and I always book with them, and they didn't do عند الحجز حجزت غرفه سريرين بدون افطار لكن بعد ذاك تبين ان حسبو ان الغرفه بسريرين فقط لشخص واحد لم ارى هذا عند الحجز وراسلتهم قبل الذهاب بايام يقولو هي لشخص اقول كيف لشخص وانا حاجزه غرفه سريرين وكنت قد حجزت ثلاث غرف وانا نزيله هذا الفندق دائما عند كل زياره يكون هذا فندقي الذي اذهب اليه قلت لهم حسنا لغرفه واحده فقط اعملو استثناء لدخول شخصين انا حجزتها سريرين وبدون افطار لو مع افطار هناك تكلفه لكن انا حجزت والغرفه لي وبها سريرين لم يردو علي وعند دخولي طلبو مني للشخص الثاني اذا دخل ان ادفع لليوم الواحد 50 يورو وانا دائما احجز عندهم ولم يفعلو اي شئ والسعر مرتفع شعرت بخيبة امل منهم واحزنني موقفهم ولهذا مع انه فندقي المفضل لكن هذه ستكون احر زيارة له

Хорошее расположение, много ресторанов под отелем, центр близко. Хороший спа для хамам процедур. Номер чистый.

Ценник на баре очень завышен. 1 коньяк + 1 мартини по микрокаплям = 40€ Кофе делали 3 раза, первый раз рожок не почистили хорошо, налили горечь , стали переделывать, второй раз сделали такой же ужасный, сами поняли что дело в кофе. Пошли в Старбакс и принесли другой, с речью «это Старбакс, хороший кофе» по вкусу оказался такой же горелый)

Habitación e instalaciones cómodas y grandes, ideales para descansar y recuperar fuerzas para continuar con la visita a Estambul. Comenzar el día en la terraza del Hotel, desayunando con vistas al Cuerno de Oro es una gran experiencia. Totalmente recomendable.

Le lit n'était pas confortable quoique nous avons réservé une suite. Malgré que nous avons réclamé le premier jour que les draps étaient sales ,ils n'ont pas été changés le lendemain. Nous ne reviendrons sûrement pas.

The bed was comfortable and the reception area was nice and old.

Prior to getting there, we contacted hotel to ask for early check-in of about 2 hours maximum, which they were quick to reply to say noted and would see what to do. However when we got there, they said not possible as hotel fully booked. They ought to have known that as we could have cancelled and booked elsewhere given we were traveling with kids under 7 years old. We then opted to have a meal at the hotel which was not anything special. by 2:30pm I tried to check in again only for them to insist that check in time was 3pm. I then waited around till 3pm but still the check in was not available until 3:25pm! This was very unacceptable. We had also requested for a room on higher floors because we were light sleepers and with the kids, it was absolutely necessary. We made all this known. When we got there, they told us that the king suite was not available on other floors. Again, this could have been communicated to us so that we could have decided to book elsewhere. I felt it was ingenious in their part to allow us to get to the Hotel only to find out we could not be booked at a higher floor. We were right above a bar and restaurant that made it impossible to sleep before midnight due to the noise of people and at times the music! On our second day, our room was left unmade at least until 4pm! We had to leave the hotel several times for breakfast, and lunch and return at 6pm because room was not made when we returned from breakfast and again from lunch! I had to complain twice to have the room made up and was forced to lave again at 4pm so that our room can be made - which was not even made properly I am sure in a haste.

Уж не думала, что мой самый негативный опыт пребывания в отеле будет в пятизвездном Rixos . При заезде хотели изменить количество ночей, так как по приезду поменялись обстоятельства и нужно было улететь на следующий день, но нам было сказано , что если даже остаемся только на одну ночь, все остальные ночи мы должны оплатить, даже если уедем раньше. Мы очень просили пойти нам на встречу, отправляли запрос на изменение дат, но на любые просьбы отель отвечал отказом без объяснения причин. В итоге пробыли все три ночи, так как оставлять им просто так свои деньги мы тоже не хотели. За эти три ночи - ни разу не была произведена уборка в номере , не было смены полотенец, и даже питьевую воду не давали . И это в Rixos! Сотрудник ресепшена совсем не был удивлен моим замечаниям, и равнодушно спросил: что вы хотите чтобы я сделал сейчас? Я очень удивлена таким отношением, такого я не встречала даже в отелях без звезд.

The view is awful, there is almost no sound isolation, and sometimes you might end up in the family room which means two rooms are connected with a door, so you can hear them talking

Просто идеальное расположение отеля. Близость к Истикляль очень порадовала. Также, завтраки отличные! На любой вкус и цвет, как говорится:) интерьер отеля — вау! Очень красиво!

Не понравились твердые подушки. Не могла спать на них совсем. Неудобные. Но как оказалось ( в день выезда ) нам на ресепшен сообщили, что у них есть разные виды подушек и можно было заменить ( но кто ж знал, нигде это не указано).

We absolutely loved our stay! The location couldn't be better—the main shopping stretch is just a 2-minute walk away, and having taxis parked right outside the hotel made getting around the city completely hassle-free. ​The free shuttle to the Nickelodeon shops located right next door was a fantastic perk for the family. On top of that, we enjoyed a decent view from our room, and the daily breakfast spread was simply amazing. Highly recommended, and we would definitely return!

The staff are very rude and condescending. The service here is awful, i wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all. We requested no alcohol to be in the room, however when we got their they had placed a bottle of champagne in the room, along with various alcohol bottles on the table near the minibar! When we told them our Air conditioning unit wasnt working they told us we were feeling hot and its not the fault of the AC. The ironing facilities are awful, we went through 5 different irons and none of them worked adequately, and the ironing boards are fixed to the cupboards and are very filmsy and unsafe, we burnt ourselves a few times due to this- the staff again did not acknowledge this. Even when checking out no effort was made, the bell boy told us to carry our own luggage down. Even at check out when i explained my concerns the manager just shrugged and showed me out.

Outstanding hotel, extremely friendly and did everything possible to make sure we were happy. Nuri on concierge will look after you during your stay, he's a great guy.

We would definitely come back here! This was the last hotel on a two week trip to Rome, Athens and Istanbul. By far this was the coolest hotel. They had an amazing spa, gym, and breakfast buffet. Eylul and the other staff were polite and welcoming. They are always checking in to see that everything is okay. I had a massage and Hamman which was such an amazing experience. The price points were excellent too. The hotel room was clean and incredibly unique. It had a historical feel with modern amenities. Rixos Pera is also located in a perfect spot to see Istanbul without the noise you can sometimes have from being in a big city. We are definitely looking at the other Rixos Hotels as there are many over here and would stay here again when back in Istanbul.

I’m staying here for 4 nights and want to thank the team in Housekeeping for there amazing attention to keeping my room clean during my stay, and this is one of the reasons why I keep coming back each month.

I stayed at Rixos Pera Taksim about a year ago, but I still remember this experience because it completely ruined my impression of the hotel. During my stay, I became very sick after what appeared to be food poisoning. Unfortunately, I vomited, and despite trying my best to clean up, there were some stains left on the bed linen and towels. The next morning, I received a phone call from the reception. Instead of asking how I was feeling or offering any assistance, I was told that I had to pay for the “dry cleaning” of the sheets, duvet, and towels. The amount they demanded was around 1,000 USD (approximately 40,000 Turkish lira at the time of writing, depending on the exchange rate). At first, I honestly thought there had been some misunderstanding. I couldn’t understand why I was being charged for something that should normally be part of a hotel’s housekeeping service, especially when a guest becomes unexpectedly ill. What shocked me even more was that the staff later brought the washed bed sheets to my room to show me that some stains had not come out completely. I found this incredibly humiliating and unprofessional. The fact that the laundry was unable to remove every stain is not the guest’s responsibility. Imagine traveling with a small child who has an accident, or becoming unexpectedly ill during your stay. According to this hotel’s approach, you could end up receiving a bill for around $1,000 simply because something happened that was completely beyond your control. The situation escalated into arguments and unnecessary stress, which completely spoiled our vacation. I have stayed in many hotels around the world, including luxury hotels, and I have never experienced anything like this. What disappointed me the most was not the money itself, but the complete lack of empathy, professionalism, and respect. Instead of showing concern for a sick guest, the hotel chose to demand an outrageous payment and embarrass us by bringing stained laundry into our room. This is absolutely unacceptable for a hotel that claims to offer five-star luxury and premium service. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. If you choose to stay here, be aware that if you or your child become sick or accidentally stain the hotel’s linens or towels, you may find yourself facing an unreasonable demand for payment. One of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. A huge, unforgettable disappointment.

Todos foram muito gentis e atenciosos, o cafe da manha é maravilhoso, amei os ovos mexidos com tomate e queijo. A pizza do restaurante é perfeita. Fiquei hospedada para turimos e tambem uma recuperação de cirurgia de facelifting, fui muito acolhida por todos, a Gerente de relacionamento Lale foi incrível, garantiu que eu ficasse perfeitamente confortável em minha recuperação.

Очень уставший отел, в стенах в коридорах дырки, кровать в номере просто посреди ночи (сна) сломалась и проломилась с одной стороны подпорка и матрас просел. Починили на следующий день, но очень странно. Вода из под крана ржавая. Завтраки достаточно скудные.

For a hotel of this brand, we expected quality, but several major issues ruined our trip: Noise: We booked a Junior Suite, but the window materials are very poor. Street noise kept us awake all night long. Breakfast Experience: The breakfast hall is severely overcrowded. Instead of opening an additional hall to manage the guests, management crammed everyone together in tight spaces, making it an unpleasant and stressful way to start the day. Room Maintenance: Basic amenities failed—our toilet flush was not working properly. Housekeeping: The privacy sign was completely ignored. Housekeeping staff knocked on our door repeatedly every two minutes, showing zero respect for guest privacy. Unfortunately, this stay fell far below expectations, and we cannot recommend it.

We specifically requested quiet rooms as we were travelling as a family with a baby, which the hotel was aware of well in advance. Before checking in, I again asked the receptionist whether the rooms would be noisy and was assured that they would not be. Despite this, we were given rooms on the first floor directly facing the bars, making it almost impossible for us and our baby to sleep. I raised the issue with reception the following morning, but no suitable alternative was offered. We understand that the property was fully booked. However, a request made well in advance, particularly for a family travelling with a baby, and reconfirmed on arrival should have been respected. At the very least, we should have been told that quiet rooms were unavailable rather than being given false reassurance. We also found large spider webs in the room, which became even more visible in daylight. This raised serious concerns about the standard of cleanliness and suggested that the room had not been properly cleaned for some time.

No private Hotel Parking Can't control the air-conditioning temp from the room , it was hot weather and the AC. TEMP. 24 .... the reception employee didn't inform us about having the new building to change our room only at the last night, so it's not worth to change it

بكل امانه الفندق رائع وموقعه ممتاز لكن للمصداقيه كنت في فاميلي سويت ل ٤ اشخاص جدا ضيق وصغير ومافي حتى مكان لعفش يكفي ٤ اشخاص كما هو متوقع وفقط دولاب صغير في الغرفه الرئيسيه للجناح + تعامل موظفي الاستقبال غير لائق بسلسله فنادق كبيره زي ريكسوس مش بشوشين ولا مرحبين وكانك اخذ الغرف مجانا!! وهذا اكثر شي ماعجبني بالتجربه )

Location was really good. Excellent and close to tourist areas. Safe at night. Staff were nice. Sheets were clean and nice pillows. The foyer is beautiful.

Stayed in an upgraded room with golden horn view. The rooms are a bit old and show some wear and tear especially in the bathroom. There was a drain smell in the bathroom that wouldn't go away. And not very good lighting in the bathroom. Smoking is allowed in the public/communal areas (courtyard area) which is disgusting and unhealthy. I emailed 2 weeks in advance for a late check out as we had a late flight. We checked in 2 hours late (5pm). Check out was 12pm. We asked for an extention very nicely but were only given 2 more hours. We had to pay almost a full night (130euros) to check out at 6pm (just 4 hours extra). This felt expensive and exorbitant especially since the hotel was not fully booked and we paid for an upgraded room.

Air- conditioning - unable to control temperature in the room which I was told was centrally controlled. 4 nights of a very uncomfortable sleep due to room being hot. Pillows also very uncomfortable. Milk ordered for child - arrived roughly 1 hr later. Staff service - did not initially help with luggage to put in taxi. The staff looked confused. The bed sheet was ripped - highlighted to the hotel all points above.

Мы остались очень довольны проживанием в отеле Rixos Pera. Персонал очень приветливый, доброжелательный и всегда готов помочь. Особенно приятно, что в отеле есть русскоязычные сотрудники — для нас это было очень удобно и значительно облегчило общение. На протяжении всего отдыха мы чувствовали заботу и внимание. Всё было организовано на высоком уровне, атмосфера очень приятная. Спасибо всей команде отеля за гостеприимство! С удовольствием вернемся снова и будем рекомендовать этот отель своим друзьям и близким.

The hotel has a good location and the overall stay was comfortable. The staff were polite, and the room and facilities were generally in line with expectations.

The only minor point was that the cooling system seemed to be centralized, so it was not always easy to adjust the room temperature exactly as we preferred.
