I loved everything

I had the room with the view on the cathedral, I really loved waking up to the sunny white dome right in front of me, the entire hotel just has an incredible vibe, super clean. Also, its my second time in Santa Marta and I have tried many hotels or other accomodations, I have to say the staff is really dedicated to their job and thoughtful. I had the do not disturb sign up for a couple days and the employees would ask me if I needed anything and were overall really helpful. I liked that the woman who did my check-in remembered my name for the whole stay, which shows you how much they care about their clientele.

El hotel es encantador, muy coqueto. Las camas comodisimas y la habitación en la estuvimos amplia. Buena ubicación. Las chicas de recepción y restaurante amables. La terraza y zona de pequeña piscina muy bonita.

Lo malo es el ruido que puedan hacer otros huéspedes, pero eso depende de la educación de cada uno. Y el ruido de la calle con tapones se arregla.

Dieses Hotel war unsere absolute Oase während unseres Aufenthalts in Santa Marta. Mitten im lebendigen und lauten Treiben der Stadt bot es uns einen wunderschönen Rückzugsort und echten Ruhepol zum Durchatmen. Das Hotel ist herrlich begrünt und mit sehr viel Liebe gepflegt – überall stehen schöne Pflanzen, und die Sauberkeit ist durchweg vorbildlich. Man merkt sofort, mit wie viel Herzblut hier gearbeitet wird. Die Rezeption ist rund um die Uhr besetzt, wodurch wir uns während des gesamten Aufenthalts absolut sicher gefühlt haben. Die Managerin Diana und das gesamte Team waren außergewöhnlich zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit – wir haben uns wirklich auf Händen getragen gefühlt. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist unschlagbar. Eine absolute Top-Empfehlung für alle, die in Santa Marta einen sicheren, ruhigen und liebevoll geführten Rückzugsort suchen!

Wirkliches Boutique-Hotel an Top-Lage in Santa-Marta. Die Casa Verde ist ein kleines Bijou. Von der Strasse kaum zu erkennen, in völliger Ruhe, jedoch sehr zentraler Lage - zum Ausgehviertel und Strand sind es nur 5-10min. Wir waren 2x in diesem Hotel und konnten 2 verschiedene Zimmer ausprobieren. Beide waren wunderschön, komfortabel und hatten sehr bequeme Betten in denen man wunderbar schlief. Design und Deko des Hotels sind sehr geschmackvoll. Das Personal ist sehr professionell und hilfsbereit.

Eine der schönsten Unterkünfte, die wir in Kolumbien hatten, sieht wirklich so aus wie auf den Bildern, super schön gestaltet, wunderschöne Farben. Wir hatten ein Zimmer zum Innenhof, ganz ruhig, mitten in der Stadt, tolle Lage, super nettes Team. Eine warme Dusche, gute Klimaanlage und das köstlichste Frühstück Vielen Dank für Alles … ps: Josefa war super lieb… hat unsere Wäsche getrocknet und auch eine Tasche gewaschen

Klimaanlage, Heißes Wasser, sehr nettes Personal, dass leider kein Englisch spricht. Restaurant im Hotel. Gute Lage.

Kein Aufzug, die 5 Sterne sind etwas überzogen. Meiner Meinung nach ist es ein gutes 3 Sterne Hotel.

La ubicación, céntrico pero tranquilo. La habitación era espaciosa. Había minibar.

Tuvimos que decirles que nos habían dado una habitación que no era la reservada. Lo solucionaron con un descuento. No tienes autonomía para entrar al hotel. Siempre tienes que llamar para que te abran. Y esperar. De la ducha solo sale agua muy caliente o caliente.

Malgré son bon emplacement dans le centre historique, le quartier est mal fréquenté.

Clean and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and they have a whole menu to choose from - the options that came with the room were wonderful! The staff was very helpful and nice. There was always someone around if someone needed something. It’s is the historic center - very walkable and safe The rooms were equipped with all the things you need.

Tuvimos problemas con el aire acondicionado, problema que se solucionó con el cambio de habitación

La piscina es genial y la atención de las señoras, los desayunos son riquísimos y la ubicación.

Hace demasiado calor, es impresionante; creo que le falta algún tipo aislante térmico o algo porque demoran mucho en enfriar los aires.

En general toda la atencion estuvo espetacular, el lugar es hermoso! la sala con la piscina es muy bella, en nuestra habitacion habia una hamaca, el desayuno delicioso! y la atencion y la amabilidad de las trabajadoras fue inigualable.

Creemos que todo estuvo muy bien :)

Zeer charmant opgezet, leuk dakterras. Zorgvuldige styling met planten en gevoel voor kleuren. De vriendelijkheid van Josefa en Luz. Veel dank, ons verblijf voor en na het bezoek aan Ciudad Perdida was heerlijk.

Good location

Room floor didn’t feel clean, sink was leaking, one had to ring the bell everytime and wait to get inside the hotel. No drinking water at all was provided in the rooms. And the staff didn’t speak any English!

La verdad que todo bien

Todo, es muy lindo y acogedor. La habitación linda, original, con mucho estilo y aparte muy fresca. El personal muy amable, sobre todo Josefa y la joven del bar, lo hacen sentir a uno como en casa.

No tengo nada malo que decir sobre Casa Verde.

An extremely beautiful and well maintained oasis in the otherwise busy downtown. Very friendly and always helpful service, excellent breakfast. Really nothing to complain!

Es acogedor, me gustó mucho la atención, la Amabilidad y las instalaciones. Está en una buena ubicación y la habitación donde me quede me gustó mucho.

La relación calidad precio la sentí sobre evaluada sin embargo estuve tranquilo ahí.

Location

Great location, about two blocks from the core of the action in the Historic Centre. Nice interior courtyard. The rooms are back from the street, behind the courtyard, and are quiet at night. The pool is tiny but still good for cooling off on scorching afternoons.

Our upstairs suite had pull-down white blinds that let in a lot of light, making it difficult to sleep. Breakfast is not included and when you order it they ask you to add a tip for service. Taking into account the cost of breakfast, this hotel costs the same as other Colombian hotels we stayed in that had much more extensive facilities (large pool, breakfast included, black-out curtains), making it somewhat expensive for what you get.

Created 100 years ago during the age of Art Deco, it is indeed that. My room was like an Art Deco Apartment. The giant window in front looking onto lovely flowers and The Cathedral of Santa Marta. All staff sweet and helpful. Totally vouch for this spot

This hotel is full of charm — a genuine piece of Colombia amid all the buzz. Part of the building dates back to the 1920s, which adds a special historical character to the experience. It has a great location, excellent rooms, and fantastic drinks. The decor is quirky and eclectic, further enhancing the hotel’s unique personality. In the bathrooms, black towels are provided for makeup removal — a thoughtful detail that is not very uncommon and really stands out.

There are no trash bins inside the room, only a tiny one in the bathroom

Casa verde es un tesoro, su diseño, su decoración, el confort de todos los espacios y sobretodo el personal, Josefa y todas las chicas son estupendas.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, das Zimmer war großartig. Das Personal extrem freundlich. Ich werde, wenn ich nochmal in Santa Marta sein werde, nur noch hier buchen. Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt.

Beautiful hotel. Decor is fabulous and it is like a calm oasis in the middle of a busy city. Room was spacious and comfortable. Balcony had a lovely hammock for relaxing. We could see the church from our room. Pool is tiny, but lovely and cold. Great location within walking distance of everything. Near bars and restaurants. Very safe location. Breakfast and coffee were delicious. All the ladies running the place were lovely.. Great value.

This was such a lovely stay! The hotel and room were cute, everything was really clean and comfortable. The gym was a great bonus. It's in a great location in the middle of Santa Marta and staff are there 24/7 and helpful.

The room was lovely and spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful too. We arrived at night and thought the street looked a bit sketchy but we realised the next day that we were right at the centre of everything. You could even see the main church from our room!

The pool didn’t look great so we didn’t go in. Could have been a bit cleaner. Also the stairs are quite narrow up to the rooms so it was a little difficult with the big suitcases, but manageable
