J’ai passé un excellent séjour dans cet hôtel ! Le service est vraiment au top, l’équipe est accueillante et aux petits soins. ❤️ Mention spéciale pour le spa : le hammam est très agréable et les soins sont de grande qualité. Un vrai moment de détente et de bien-être. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel, j’ai adoré mon expérience et je reviendrai avec grand plaisir !

Bel emplacement mais les 5 étoiles ne sont pas méritées à mon goût.

Mon fils a dormi dans un lit de camps pliable et l'hôtel veille mal. A part l'accueil qui vous en met plein les yeux, le reste ne suit pas; déçue! Je ne recommande pas pour un couple et 1 enfant.

We stayed here for two nights as we travelled through Morocco. All the staff were friendly, polite and willing to help. Breakfast was varied and plentiful and the waiting staff were extremely attentive and kind. For us, we felt the hotel rooms were a little tired which was a shame but we did sleep well.

Nothing this was the worst experience we weren’t able to stay there they’re racist and discriminating

I didn’t like anything about it. It smelled bad. It looked old and run down. The people treated me awful they treated me my fiancé awful and in the end, we didn’t stay there.

Το ξενοδοχείο εχει μια πισίνα παρα πολυ μικρή που δεν σου κάνει αίσθηση να την επισκεφθείς καθόλου. Δεν εχει καθόλου εξωτερικούς χώρους για να κάτσεις.

The best part was when I entered my suite and was met with a panoramic view of the Medina and mosque. It’s worth staying here for that reason alone. You can request this view when you book. Of course the hotel was perfect in every other way too. Comfort, cleanliness, service. I can’t fault this hotel at all I loved my stay here. I did an art deco walking tour through Premier Tours — strongly recommend if you love architecture.

Une chambre supplémentaire m'a été facturée par erreur, mais malgré mes démarches, le remboursement m'est refusé.

Despite the excellent location, steps from Casa Port, the property has issues. Furnishings are very tired, hotel is overpriced and there was zero recognition for a loyalty programme premium member. I was harassed to provide a credit card for pre-authorization even though I had over €2,000 credit in points. My main card had a bad chip and they couldn't process the pre-authorization by contactless. I ended up having to book another room to use my points and cash Moroccan dirhams at the train station so they would let me check in. Paid a higher rate, lost my welcome drink amenity and not even a "Sorry". Then the next day, the manager goes to speak to me during breakfast to "explain" things. Seriously? I have stayed at Accor brand hotels in 25 countries. They could have processed my point conversion anytime if they wanted. Sheer arrogance. Breakfast spread was only slightly above the average of Muslim countries, but at least you can order eggs the way you want with a not so bad spicy sausage. Dinner buffet quoted at 60 euro... With hotel attendants trying to fish you like a good old tourist trap. Seriously? Ordered a tomato tagine from an app for less than 1/5 of that (MAD120) and it's my only good memory from the stay. This ultimately killed the Sofitel brand for me, after two terrible experiences at the former Miami Airports and Abu Dhabi corniche properties. Paying extra to be treated like a criminal is not on my list, sorry.

The hotel is mediocre and poorly operated. Service elevators not operative so cleaning and other hotel staff were dominating the elevators not allowing easy use by hotel guests. Long waits for elevator use by guests. Female checkout clerk was belligerent, nasty, and surly. One check-out clerk with numerous guests standing and waiting in line to leave. Basic front desk staff were just awful. One guest checking out did not have a useable credit card and was making calls to his credit card provider….staff allowed him to spend +20 minutes to call France to help with his credit issued….other guests were not convenience by another check out clerk. Waste of time and money…stay elsewhere for better value for your money. Kudos however to assistant concierge Yakoub to help w/our stay. Wonderful attention and recommendations.

Location is great, room service food was very good:

The rooms need to be renovated, room AC and shower vent fan was noisy. Lights were always shimmering. Some plugs didn’t work. Furniture and carpets had lots of visible stains. The sinks were clogged and the room was not cleaned properly and water bottles were not always replaced.

Came here after another hotel lost my booking, after a long day of travel. Tired rooms and fixtures, all very dated and a funny smell. Even that I can live with, given late night arrival. The next morning I went for a jog and came back at 6.30 am to an empty breakfast room where I entered with no issue from staff. Got my food only to be asked to leave for not adhering to the dress code by another staff member who first shouted at the greeter, I guess for allowing me entry . At the same time a 2nd person entered the restaurant also in t shirt and shorts and was allowed to go about his way. The staff member wasn’t interested when I tried to point this out as I was being ejected. I appreciate there are various dress codes, even if not advertised. But if come in to an empty place, allow me to get my food and then not allow me to eat and make me leave …..a very sour taste. It’s at times like this that a hotel can really make the difference one way or another - here, I won’t be back.

Insalubrité de la chambre 1502 et insalubrité de la piscine : filaments de moisissure et champignons noirs/gris de quelques centimètres par filament... Nous en avons eu sur nos corps et nos maillots de bain. Personne ne nous a informés que la piscine était insalubre. Étant sombre et le carrelage gris, on ne pouvait pas voir ça à l'avance. Nous avons un enfant en bas âge et au spa on avait d'abord commencé à nous dire que c'était certainement du "papier" jeté par d'autres clients en nous parlant fort et vite, comme si nous étions des ignorants ... C'était pathétique et gênant. À la fin en voyant l'étendue de la saleté, la personne a commencé à se confondre en excuses et nous dire que quelqu'un allait venir mettre une bouteille de chlore pour que ce soit propre demain. De pire en pire. Nous avons demandé à l'hôtel de partir dès le lendemain. Ils nous avaient Assuré que le séjour allait être remboursé compte tenu de la situation (on avait payé à l'avance le séjour et les petits dejs). A savoir que nous étions en vacances et qu'il nous a fallu replier bagage et trouver autre chose en urgence. On a payé un repas au resto. 1000dh. Juste pour indiquer qu'ils n'ont rien tenté pour un mea culpa. Mais soit! On est repartis le lendemain en ayant été rassurés que dans les 48h on serait remboursés. On attend encore, cela fait trois jours. La gestion de cet hôtel est une calamité. Nous avons l'habitude de séjourner à plusieurs Sofitel et celui-ci est clairement indigne de ce nom.

2 night stay 4.5. - 6.5.2026 during a business trip - first room 905 had a massive mold issue - you smell right away when entering the room. The reception was aware of it (what a shame giving such a room to a new client). Room changed to 902 - pictures attached. 1.) Unshielded electric cables on the windowsill outside 2.) Spiderwebs at the ceiling 3.) loose reading light 4.) damaged wall and finally 5.) moldy fan in the shower. Made Sofitel onsite manager aware - she offered an equivalent of ~15€ of loyalty points and a free dinner - the bill remained at 200€ a night. Worst experience in business travel.

This is a fake Sofitel Casablanca. Why I awarded "fake" as it is nowhere close to what you experienced of Sofitel in Vietnam or in Queenstown or even close to 4 star. When we reach the hotel lobby, it doesn't look like a hotel, more like some rundown place and the front door looks bizarre. Upon entry, was dark and feels you’ve entered a wine bar. Reception was efficient and gave us our room 1900 which is a Junior Suite which I booked. We went to the run down lift, even the buttons of the lift feels like coming off. Feels like you’ve entered into a typical 3 star hotel in S.America. Once door opens on 19th floor, you already can smell the stale air and the carpet looks like American run down chain in Chicago. Our room upon entrance smelled of someone has been smoking. The floors are dirty, the sofa you can see crumbs of food, the working desk you can see crumbs of whatever, I took tissues to wipe the working desk and the tissues are BLACK. The towels are yellowish, you feel like you're in a public swimming pool when stepping into the shower area. The electric kettle! It was filled with some slimy yellowish liquid inside. Is like someone has vomited in it. I knew I’ve to get out of this place. I went to their fitness center to try out the tiny swimming pool to wake myself up. It was a scary affair. No towels to be seen and the water taste ridiculously weird. When I use my goggles to see underneath, my god, lots of dirt, I came up right away and head for a shower in the room. I also googled where are the 5 stay hotel in Casablanca, booked it and check out immediately. When we came down to reception after 1.5hrs upon checking in with our big suitcases, we told them we can't stay in this place. Saving grace is manager Lisa Bertrand. She was calm, cheerful and helpful. Wanted to show us another room, unfortunately this hotel needs a major overhaul to win me over. We checked into Royal Mansour next door - that is a real 5 star hotel. I hope Sofitel Marrakech is not going to be this scary as that will be my next stop.

Nous n’avons pas pu accéder à notre réservation, suite à notre animal de compagnie (trop gros). Rien n’est stipulé au sujet de la taille de nos animaux, c’est scandaleux de se retrouver à 21h sans notre réservation. Qui puisait le site du Sofitel, ne stipule rien non plus. De plus la réceptionniste nous a proposé de laisser notre animal de compagnie dans la voiture pour toute la nuit.

Si seulement on aurait pu accéder à l’établissement, nous aurions pu mettre une note favorable. Nous sommes clients accord depuis de nombreuses années, et c’est bien la première fois que nous nous voyons refusé l’accès à l’hôtel avec (gros )chien

Location Is great and the people were very nice.

The hotel is showing some signs of wear, not least the cracked window in our room that had fogged, partially blocking what was otherwise a fantastic view. But nothing was a serious problem for us

The reception is formal and functional, bordering on unfriendly. There’s plenty of staff around but they seem more focussed on chatting and laughing amongst themselves than guest experience, which is a shame because the staff in the brasserie are the polar opposite - they are friendly and welcoming. Rooms differ in standard despite the same categorisation. I stayed three nights on arrival in Casablanca and couldn’t fault the room. Staying one night before I leave Morocco and the room is smaller, older and in need of some TLC/repair. It’s a disappointment considering the standard of the hotel.

We paid extra for a "luxury" room, but it had a vomit stain next to the bed and a series of disgusting stains on the couch. The toilet was in a closet on the other side of the room from the sink. For some reason, there was a baby crib, and the staff wouldn't remove it. We asked to switch rooms, but they said no. They said they would refund us (we ended up booking a last-minute room at the Marriott down the street), but more than a week later, and they still haven't. This is far from a five-star hotel -- it is dirty, and I would stay away.

We checked in at 4 20 pn. Frankly I find rhus quite ridiculous. I k ow that in morocco check in is at 3 but then check out is 12 on the dot. They gave us a bigger room but it was painful

Die Hotellobby und das Restaurant waren neu und modern und das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer war älter aber auch sehr sauber. Grundsätzlich war es ein angenehmer Aufenthalt mit einem Blick zur großen Moschee und dem Ozean.

I stayed for 3 days and got 100USD voucher during my stay. However when I checked out the hotel charged additional cost within that 100usd. They realized the mistake but refuse to refund! I checked out by 2026/3/13 and till now still no refund. This is ROBBERY! 通过旅行社预定连住三日，包含 100 美金消费额度，退房时前台多刷了我一百美金并且拒绝退款，借口是他们无法操作。🌶︎🐔

I recently stayed at this hotel with high expectations, especially since it is rated as a 5-star property. First, I would like to sincerely thank the staff they were extremely friendly, professional, and always helpful. The housekeeping team was also polite and cooperative, and their attitude was truly appreciated. However, there were serious issues that cannot be ignored. Unfortunately, there were insects in the room, which is completely unacceptable for any hotel, especially one claiming a 5-star rating. Cleanliness and proper maintenance should be a top priority at this level. In addition, some facilities appear outdated and in need of renovation. While the staff did their best, the overall condition of the property does not reflect true luxury standards. With better pest control, improved maintenance, and upgrades to the facilities, the hotel could significantly improve its reputation. So , the hotel facilities and overall standards need improvement. The rooms and amenities do not reflect a true 5-star level. With upgrades to the facilities and better attention to maintaining high-end standards, this hotel could reach its full potential. For now, it still has room for development. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works on resolving these issues.

The rooms were nice and breakfast was excellent. The staff remained very helpful. The location was very good and everything was in good approach.

Ménage très moyen. Faut réclamer pour que le ménage soit fait. Chambre vétuste . Canalisation bouchées! p’tit dej peu varié, tous les jours la même chose.
