Location and view from our room was lovely

Road noise as we are from a country area so its quiet.

The Room is a little outdated but that didn’t bother me at all. Bed was super comfortable. Best Bed so far.

Gaps in windows and front door - lots of whistleing sounds. Looks like they are upgrading so am sure this will be sorted. I would still stay here again

Running toilet all night which was noisey, couch leg was broken. Place seemed quite run down compared to other years we have stayed

Positive: Amazing view from room, and great location across from beach and close to town. Love the spa bath too with view across to the sea! Staff friendly.

Needs improvement: Room has some maintenance issues with large gaps around entry door, bathroom window and kitchen window. Wind was blowing in badly through gaps!! Had to jam tissues and towels into gaps to stop the wind coming through. And while there is a guest laundry, the dryer isn't working which was annoying. Looking back at reviews in early August it wasn't working then either! Would pay to check if you on a longer stay that requires washing.

As we opened the door we had a strong curry smell hit us and this was there for our entire stay. The carpet was black with dirt and it was filthy. There were holes in the wall and it seemed someone put their fist through it. The couch was black and dirty too. There was a Lino strip on the bathroom door that was just about to come unstuck, not sure what the strip was for? The shower was hot and cold throughout the duration of our shower and we had to keep adjusting it. The staircase was right by our front door and every time someone came up the stairs it made an awful racket. Which woke us up every time. The tv reception wasn’t good and when trying to watch the AB’s on sky sports 1 the picture kept disappearing.

Sky 1 was jumping could watch all blacks in the morning 😒😒

Not enough parking, dryer not working, couldnt accomodate single beds in room. Never will i go back. Even tried to blame me for smoke burn. (Told them i dont smoke. Also tried to charge me $200 for blanket, which not sure how we would of Rip it.

Awesome views, fair price, balcony has a bit of privacy which is great, and it’s always nice to have a spa bath

Dated and worn property, stained carpets and outdoor table was broken - but still usable. Some kind of glue or weird looking stuff around jet in spa bath - attempted to scrub off but was stuck solid. No lift to upper floors that we could see. Parking is also a problem - as parking is not assigned if you leave the carpark for even 15 mins in the evening, your park is taken by the time you get back.

Is not having the room that u book i book the city and beach view didnt get that i was put ground level wasn't happy at all.

The location was beachfront with great view and nice balcony. The bed was very comfortable.

Parts of the room were sparkling clean (bathroom and kitchen) and then others were grubby (around the light switches etc). The carpet was very stained. There was a hole in the wall, lots of scratches and paint missing and the hanger on the back of the door was hanging on by a screw - it fell off when touched. One of the couch legs fell off when we sat on it. It just needs a good refurbishment. The door looks like at some stage it was kicked in and while it closes and locks, there's lots of light around it.

When we arrived shoreline, first we were checked into the wrong room, I went back to the reception and discussed about what I booked for and paid in advance more than 2 weeks before arrival, I was told that our room cannot be changed as they are now fully booked so they moved us to the the average beachfront room, as we entered the room, it was still not ready (attached is the pics) so I went back to the reception to inform them that the room was still not cleaned after their previous guest, by this time it was already after 2pm, so we waited and went out, nobody called to inform us of the room was ready or not, we came at 3pm. Driving for almost 5 hrs we were already tired and we're looking forward to have a rest in a nice and clean environment. Room appeared to be fine, but nothing as they show in pics while booking online.

The TV wasn't working for my first night. I wasn't the only unit affected.

I am requesting a full refund, due to spending a night in extremely unhealthy, damp and wet conditions. On arrival we could smell and feel a cold dampness and thought that maybe the unit had been closed up and not used for a little while. We ran the heat pump and the heaters in each bedroom, before going out for the evening. We returned later ready for bed. The twin bed room was so cold, my sister-in-law moved her bedding to the pull out bed in the lounge. I slept in the King bed. On preparing the bed for the night I found one of the pillows against the headboard soaking wet. Unsure how a very wet pillow could have been put on the bed I removed it to the floor. I woke in the night feeling cold despite folding the duvet cover over double and had to put the heater on. Then I realised the dripping sound I could hear was rain water running down the head board onto the bed from the closed window above the bed. Considering the sodden pillow, I suspect the carpet under the head of the King bed may be wet, contributing to the damp smell and cold damp feeling in the unit. This is totally unacceptable at any time and especially unacceptable given the price we paid for this accommodation. I might add we were also unimpressed with the shabby state of the unit. * Lots of chipped paint on door posts, the worn front entrance very uninviting. * The carpet in the kitchen is worn and lifting. * The Spa bath had a “not working” notice. * The kitchen tap is loose and wobbly. On a positive note despite the tired, shabby state, the unit was very clean. The mattresses were very comfortable. I am unable to add all the the email - Cleaning Staff told us they have repeatedly told management of the problem.

Great location, very clean and comfortable. The staff are pleasant. Plenty of parking. Very good value for money.

The decor is very over-worn in parts. There was tattered carpet at the entrance to the unit and very old tiling and water-stained fittings in the bathroom. However, despite the damage and over-worn parts, the unit was thoroughly clean.

A last minute booking and paid $140 online. NO NEED TO PAY A BOND ON ARRIVAL EITHER! The lady at check in was very friendly and helpful. So welcoming. Went over and above for us! Totally enjoyed the large spa pool in the room plus loved the complimentary toiletries and guest amenities. More than enough for the night. Will def go back!
