Sound proofing is poor, road noise is intrusive. A $300 credit card hold is extremely high for the value of the stay and amenities. The bed was not very comfortable, just feels more like budget accommodation than middle range.

A lot of things actually The way the spa bath is built in the suite, it leaks when u have a spa... no matter what, it's ridiculous The shatter from the bedroom to the lounge area They are broken. They always come off the hinges when opening them up... In regards to all of the above, whoever paids for a room in 210 at the Napier Nautilus, you will never get your nond back... and it's alot of money $ 309.00 your getting scam out of....

Reviewed Aug 28, 2026The location was perfect and the amenities were lovely. The room was comfortable and the balcony view was spectacular. The staff accommodated our late check-in and check-out requests wonderfully. The aquarium and CBD were only a short walk away.
The bed sheets and floor had a few stains in them. The fan in the bathroom didn't work and the spa bath was a tad finicky to get going.

Reviewed Aug 20, 2026I have stayed here in the past and it has been excelent but due to unforseen issues with staff this will be my last stay here, I booked online for an executive suite, I was told I had to pay extra for the spa, and other extras, this was not true and so the staff member would not give the room, we came to an agreement but she had removed the bar, the spa bath plug so it couldn't be used, I had paid for all.these extras so felt entiley ripped off upset and was not compensated after telling the staff the next day

I parked in the car park provided. Was surprised to wake and find my vehicle (right side, nearest fence) covered in bird shit. I would suggest it not be used for parking. I did not take photos but have no doubt that owners are aware of this. There was an orange road cone in a car park outside my room. Perhaps that had been moved. Otherwise, no problems.

Noise , not sure if cab do anything about this as on main rd but doors are double glaze? I needed to be more clear yes stayed 2nights yes put sign up do not disturb but good stock of towels I needed to ask for. Maybe if room prepped before I arrive including another milk, tea towel but yeah will remember.

Reviewed Jul 6, 2026Our suite was upgraded to suite with a sea view and spa bath (the hotel was not full as it is mid-winter). It was spacious and comfortable. Great location - we walked everywhere, along the beach and into town. Also short walk to supermarket and aquarium. There is a balcony to sit on, which would be great in the summer when the evening is longer. We also enjoyed watching Netflix on the huge screen in the room. Would stay again and happy to recommend.

On arrival to room had to get house keeping in to clean extractor fan full of dust. No wardrobe space to hang clothing it was used to hold iron board and spare bedding,poor maintenance bit of damage to room divider looked like smoke burn in curtain.

The property was extremely expensive and was not good value. The house we were allocated slept 6 and was sub standard with one bathroom.
