The air could have been a little cooler at night, but wasn’t an issue. I would stay there again.

Perfect central location!

Ein sehr stilvoll ausgebautes Hotel in bester Lage in Guanajuato. Wir hatten drei Zimmer reserviert, davon eines zur Plaza hin. Dort gibt es am Abend Musik (Mariachi, Trio und andere), es ist also bis ca. 23 Uhr recht belebt. Bei geschlossenem Fenster kein Problem, und das Hotel stellt für empfindliche Gehöre Ohrstöpsel zur Verfügung. Wer die mexikanische Musik mag, öffnet stattdessen das Fenster und genießt die Atmosphäre! Sehr freundliches und hilfreiches Personal. Für uns die perfekte Wahl mitten in Guanajuato. Wir kommen ganz sicher wieder. Für das Frühstück gibt es mehrere Alternativen. Wir haben das Restaurant gleich nebenan zu unserer Zufriedenheit genutzt. Zur Sicherheit: Die Stadt ist völlig sicher und bebt vor fröhlichem Leben. Im Zentrum kann man sich jederzeit frei bewegen und begegnet nur netten Menschen. Wir nutzten ein vorgebuchtes Taxi für die Fahrt vom Flughafen in die Stadt, auch da fühlten wir uns sehr sicher.

Im Zimmer Lola gab es kein Fenster, das man öffnen konnte. Wir würden deshalb beim nächsten Mal ein anderes Zimmer nutzen.

Estupenda ubicación en el centro de Guanajuato, donde está la actividad diurna y nocturna y como está cerca de todo, siempre tienes a mano el hotel. La atención al llegar a la pieza, es una carta escrita y firmada por los que ahí trabajan, lo que muestra la preocupación y cuidado del huésped. Cada día había una pequeña sorpresa de regalo, y en general siempre fue muy amable el personal, bien dispuesto a resolver tus problemas, el hotel es grato, bonito y responde a lo que es, un estupendo hotel boutique. Quiero sugerir, el controlar más el ruido del bar, ya que personalmente para mi éste fue muy desagradable, ya que a pesar de estar en una habitación interior, se escuchaba fuertísima la música. Solo logré dormime cuando este cerró. Lo otro es que yo pagué 2 desayunos para 2 días en Booking y el hotel no tiene servicio de desayuno, eso no puede ocurrir, de hecho booking me cobró 250 pesos por ello y en el hotel no me dieron respuesta, salvo que no daban este servicio. No puede aparecer eso en la página, sugiero no ofrecer algo que es imposible entregar

Que no entreguen el servicio de desayuno, y el nivel de ruido del bar.

This was the most expensive hotel room I’ve ever had in Mexico and I expected more. It was not nice but not worth over $300 usd in my opinion. I would not stay there again

The location is perfect—just a short walk to downtown, which made it super convenient for exploring the city. One of my favorite parts was the rooftop bar. At night, we enjoyed amazing views of the city lights and could even see some of the main landmarks—it was truly beautiful

La ubicación del hotel es perfecta, caminas a donde quieras en el centro de Guanajuato y tienes rápido la opción de regresar al hotel a descansar o dejar ahi tus compras.

Todo estuvo excelente, incluyendo la amabilidad y el trato del personal.

The location was perfect. It was wonderful to be right on the main plaza and we could easily walk to areas we wanted to see. It can be noisy at night with lots of activity and music but was fairly quiet after 11pm. On the weekends I would suggest asking for an inside room to avoid too much noise. The staff were all so helpful and welcoming. We particularly enjoyed talking with Rey.

The breakfast is adequate, however, the rooftop location offered a wonderful view of the city in the morning light.

We were told that only one person can shower as the hot water runs out. Wait 15 minutes before the other one can shower. The price we paid was

This hotel is very nice and quiet. We took an overnight flight so we arrived exhausted, around 6:00 am. We were able to check in early but I thought the cost was pretty high, 50% of 1 night stay.

Very good hotel in excellent location. Bar above us was loud at 1 am, windows need sound proofing. Was surprised by 500 peso dog charge for our 12 lb service dog

The hotel service was amazing. The staff went out of their way for anything we needed. The room we stayed at (Pilar) was awesome, super clean and fantastic bed. It also had an entry living room and balcony. And the bar on the terrace made great drinks to wrap up our days. Music there was a bit loud though.

Hot room, ac not keeping up even at night, one of the least comfortable beds or pillows I ever slept on. Great location and friendly staff but will stay elsewhere next time. Nice toiletries. Hotel seemed empty, I have not seen another single guest during my 2 days here, but that may be season related. No upgrade was offered despite the hotel being empty and status.

Really welcoming hotel, nice comfy bed and no noise, right in the middle of all the HAPPENINGS and the location is amazing. The staff , specially Verenice were truly one of a kind. Excellent!! This is an amazing hotel. It is clean, comfortable and the location is great. The best part about it is the service. They go way above and beyond. We received a welcome letter when we arrived signed by several employees. When we asked directions, they actually walked us to the restaurant! Never had service this good before. We will absolutely go back!

This gorgeous boutique historic hotel is the best located 5 star hotel in the historic district within steps of the grand opera house and restaurants lining every inch of the plaza in which it is situated. The staff, however, bears express reference as they were the best ever…accommodating to the hilt as they went out of their way to make our stay completely flawless from beginning to end. Just a beautiful way to enjoy this incredible city of Guanajuato!

This beautiful hotel is in the perfect location and the staff are next level hospitality agents. It’s a very casual vibe while still being upscale and amenity rich.

The pillow menu!

The staff were exceptional with a special thanks to Richard, Alex and Anna who went above and beyond to make us feel at home. They were very knowledgeable about Guanajuato and were very very ready to suggest local points of interest, restaurants and generally make our stay so enjoyable. The hotel was very elegantly and comfortably furnished and the location was right on the main square. Once inside, the hotel was a quiet and peaceful haven from the bustling outdoors of the Guanajuato square.

More cupboard/drawer space in the room would have been useful

The staff was nice, but the rooms were dated with no windows. The hot water was only enough for one person, AC wasn’t good, and the restaurant and bar were both closed and the main reason we picked this hotel. Expedia should require a disclaimer if all amenities are not available. Parking is not available on site and required an extra fee, which is fine, but inconvenient. Despite a cool area on a main plaza, this hotel lacks character and feels like a chain. Music plays outside until 3am on weekends—you can hear it but not see it since there are no windows in the rooms. I don’t get the high ratings and although the staff was nice, I would definitely not stay here again.

It was a wonderful stay! The hotel provided vip tickets for drinks at a near location. The staff was friendly and amazing!

Shower section too big, next to very small vanity space, next to descent toilet with single step between vanity area. If step from shower to vanity and step from vanity to toilet eliminated and wider vanity area review would be higher recommended. Better lighting also. Too expensive for these type of small spaces

Location and exceptional details!

Gym facilities need improvement. Limited equipment and the cycling bike was broken.

My husband and I stayed here for Valentine's weekend (3days) this Feb 2025 and we loved our stay! It was the perfect, central location! I LOVED the Starbucks next door, and the AMAZING Casa Valadez! The staff was fabulous, service top notch, and loved the welcome drink of wine or mimosas. Front desk was responsive (via WhatsApp) even days/weeks before arrival and suggested some tours and activities. They reserved the callejonadas evening tour, as well as arranged our ride from hotel to airport. The rooms are VERY pricey compared to the rest of the area, but we went with this hotel because in pictures, the rooms looked very modern and cloean and property seemed upscale, with it's decor and furnishings. Another reason why we reserved this hotel is because of its rooftop bar, which their pictures online just boasted about! Sad to say, we did not experience the bar mentioned as it was under construction (I was a bit disappointed about this) and there was no mention that the bar cannot be accessed anywhere. The price per night averaged to about $250 with all taxes and fees included. For this price, the hotel could have included complimentary breakfast or complimentary "something." Overall, it was a good stay because of the unique rooms and charming spot... Will I stay here again if I were to return with our daughters, probably not. I did not enjoy the very tiny bathroom sink and this would only be recommended, imho, for singles or couples staying for a short time in Guanajuato.

Beautiful hotel in a classic building right in the heart of the city. Excellent service from all the staff - highly recommended!

Really a great experience all around. Service, location, room amenities, bed and pillow quality, furnishings. Others have commented on the noise from the "battle of the bands" in the Jardin de la Union, and the mariachis were at it when we arrived about 9:30 pm on a Saturday (and continued until after midnight). However, our room was in the back of the building (although on the lobby courtyard), and once ensconced in our room, I couldn't hear a thing. And I'm a light sleeper. I would stay here again, and would recommend it to others.

This is a fantastic hotel. Location could not be better - it's right in the middle of the action. But even though it's very lively and loud outside, my room was completely silent. The staff is super helpful and friendly as well. Highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Guanajuato.

Very good hotel right on the main square adjacent to park and Teatro Juarez. Quick walk to cathedrals and other Guanajauto sights. Very comfortable lobby and rooms. Nicely furnished, comfortable bed and seating area in the room.

We really enjoyed our stay at 1850 Hotel Boutique. Everything we needed was walking distance and the staff were very friendly. Room was a little smaller than expected but we spent most of the time exploring the city so it didn’t really matter. Housekeeping came in every day to clean which was nice. Guanajuato is a beautiful place to visit and this hotel made the experience more worth it

I was in town for my daughter’s wedding. And the staff was very helpful and friendly. I will definitely stay here again when I go back to this beautiful city.

I would have preferred regular coffee machine rather than nespresso machine. We are early risers and Starbucks next door doesn’t open until 8:30 and the breakfast restaurant doesn’t open until 9 am
