Really nice vibes. The stage were great. Tasty breakfast that you can order from the menu every morning.

The location is on a busy road. You can walk a few minutes and then cut down the ally ways to go to the beach which is about a 20 minute walk.

Magnifique hotel

Beautiful surroundings and garden even just to sit on the porch and relax. Room was big, bathroom was big (plus for a big fan in the bathroom), outdoor shower was nice addition but no hot water there ;) rustic charm when it comes to how the houses are built and decorated. Quiet at night.

I believe that price could be lower for this kind of property. We paid 150 AUD for night (pictures online don’t show fully the quality of the place) so we expected something on the higher end of quality. This could be price for private pool villa). We had a great time and we liked the place but price could be lower.

Das Hotel ist in einem sehr schönen Garten angelegt mit Pool und kleinen Häusern. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend.

Die Zimmer ohne Häuschen um den Pool sind sehr nah an der sehr gut befahrenen Hauptstraße und daher hört man den Straßenlärm in den Zimmer (nicht in den Häuschen) leider noch sehr gut.

Staff were lovely. Food was fantastic. Grounds were stunning and quiet. Best massage. Gorgeous property.

Only downside was booked for 2 adults and a 10 yr old child but there was no bed for child on arrival. Had to pay extra for 3rd bed per night. And main bed was two singles pushed together so wouldn’t work for 3 in bed as suggested. Would be good to fix this on booking.com site and clarify sleeping arrangements and true price.

The hotel is set in absolutely beautiful, lush gardens, which A lovely little oasis We absolutely loved our stay here. The hotel is set in the most beautiful gardens and feels like a peaceful little oasis, despite being on a busy road. The pool is a perfect size for the hotel and was lovely for relaxing. We stayed in the Deluxe Cottage, which was really cute, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic, with a great selection of food — definitely one of the highlights of our stay. The staff were wonderful. They were so friendly, welcoming and attentive, and nothing was ever too much trouble. We really appreciated the fruit basket waiting for us when we arrived — such a lovely touch. The hotel is on a busy road, but the clever design means you don't hear the traffic at all. There’s also a gate at the back of the hotel, making it just a 10-minute walk to the main tourist area. We really enjoyed the walk, with lots of little warungs, cafes and mini markets along the way. Overall, this hotel was a real find. Beautiful surroundings, lovely staff, great breakfast and a convenient location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

Positioned on a very busy road you might think it would be noisy here, but it’s not. Having breakfast outside the cafe is loud/roadside but inside is perfectly fine. Nice breakfast selection off the menu. The rest of the resort is away from the road and peaceful. Great wifi, staff, pool is not huge but fine to cool off. The gardens are very pretty at night. Our room was not large, although the bathroom was a decent size. It is basically a bedroom and a bathroom, with seating outside on a cute verandah. It is indeed made in a vintage style so be ready for a creaking wooden floor and old style shutters and doors. It is cute and lovely for a change from the sterile modern resorts. Very clean, great air conditioning, comfy bed with the best mosquito net coverage - not a chance a bug will get in there, not that we really had any bugs in our cottage. There are lots of places to eat and we felt very safe walking at night down small connecting streets. We enjoyed staying here.

It is a 10-15 min walk to the Main Sanur Street, through back roads so if you are not very mobile there would be closer places to central Sanur and the beach. It’s then another 10 mins to the beach.

Beautiful clean and comfortable cottages surrounded by beautiful gardens. Rooms were clean and bedding and beds top quality and comfortable. Staff were amazing and food at the restaurant was delicious.

Nous avions réservé un cottage et une suite qui étaient malheureusement en très mauvais état. Les hébergements sont très abîmés, vieillissants et auraient besoin d’une rénovation complète. Nous avons également constaté une forte odeur d’égout lors de l’utilisation de la douche. Le restaurant au bord où se prennent les petits déjeuners est au bord de l’autoroute alors qu’il y a un joli espace dans le jardin où les petits déjeuners pourraient être servis

Beautiful breakfast.

We stayed in a balcony room and the room next door had their outside light on all night which shone through our room all night even with the curtains closed (the curtains were very light). Also the next room were smoking on their balcony, so we couldn’t sit on our balcony and had to keep the doors shut.

Gorgeous cottages with stunning landscaping Private and comfortable Back gate of property takes you to the Main Street Lovely cafes and Warungs along the way. Spoilt for choice.

Pas de vue exceptionnelle pour le petit déjeuner. Ça se passe à l'intérieur ou à l'extérieur avec... vue sur la route. Même si la plage à Sanur n'est pas exceptionnelle, il faut pas mal marcher pour s'y rendre à pied (au moins 30 min) ou louer un scooter/Grab

Absolutely stunning bungalow, pool and gardens. The staff are beautiful and can’t do enough. The spa had excellent treatments. The breakfast was amazing - so many choices I tried something new every day. I barely left the oasis during the day because I wanted to relax away from the hubbub of town. But it’s a short walk out the back gate to everything you need.

This is our second stay here in the same holiday. We loved it the first time and we’re very happy to return. The staff couldn’t be more helpful. They helped us with both a medical emergency and our taxi not showing up to take us to the airport. Very happy with their service.

La chambre était propre et la cuisine était bonne. Le restaurant est à côté de l’hôtel et nous y mangeons très bien (pareil pour le petit déjeuner).

Nous avons été déçu lors de notre arrivée car les chambres n’étaient pas conformes aux photos. Les chambres ont besoin d’un rafraîchissement ou sinon de changer les photos sur Booking pour que cela ne trompe pas le client. (Nous avons été dans les chambres Deluxe et pas dans les cottages)

Die Anlage ist grundsätzlich ganz schön.

Mein Zimmer, das nicht günstig gewesen ist, hatte am Balkon nach 2 m direkt eine Mauer, auf die man geguckt hat. Zudem macht das Hotel einen in die Jahre gekommenen Eindruck, ist abgewohnt, altbacken und ist durchaus renovierungsbedürftig, mein Zimmer insbesondere! Lassen sie sich von den Hochglazbildern des Hotels noch täuschen, da war ein guter Fotograf und ein gutes Fotoprogramm im Einsatz. Zudem handelt es sich noch um ein klassisches Hotel, denn so ein wenig die Moderne fehlt, auch, was so den Service und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis angeht.

Bookingin ilmoituksessa oli 20 % alennus ruuasta ja juomista, mutta se oli vain yhdestä ruokailusta.

Was a beautiful place to stay

Some facilities had closed (coffee shop), dining had been relocated to restaurant on property. Getting a little older, sad that owners may let this place go (to deteriorate but hopefully not) in time.

The entire setting is stunning. I love gardens and this place has beautiful gardens with meandering paths to the villas which are well maintained and comfortable. The aesthetic and design is well thought out and has a cosy, homely (meaning not cold and modern) feel. We had the best massage so far in Bali here. The day spa area is also stunning!

The traditional little houses (villa’s) with a porch are charming and wel-equiped. Can’t speak for all villa’s as they seem to have different lay-outs but our bathroom was very spacious. Also traditional furniture in bathroom and on poch which can make it a little bit low for tall Europeans like us. The bed was big enough for sure and very comfortable. The total site breathes the atmosphere of a small traditional village with lucious green trees and plants, all centered around the pool and centre pavillion. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Yoost is always willing to help with everything he can. And cherry on the cake of Puri Tempo Doeloe is for me the spa. You can access it via the front reception hall and its really beautiful and very professional. I have several Balinese massages during our stay at Bali but the Hawaian lomi lomi massage by Mary at Puri Mandala Spa, was the most professional and best massage I experienced.

One can always think of things to criticize but if you are looking for more than just ‘clinical clean’ business type of hotels, and value traditional style, then this is definitely a place to consider.

Beautiful Antique cottages, very comfortable and delightful inside too, something rather special and if U don't mind a little walk to the beach like us it's great! Breakfast had a wonderful selection and ordering A La Carte is fantastic, not a fan of buffets where everyone is leaning over the food for hours. The pool and gardens are just beautiful and the place is very quiet!

Un peu le bruit de la route.

De ligging is heel fijn. Bij aankomst zie en hoor je de drukke doorgaande weg, maar zodra je de tuin inloopt richting de accomodatie is het heerlijk stil. De tuin is prachtig aangelegd en wordt goed verzorgd. Het huisje zelf was ook mooi en netjes. Ruimtelijk, schoon. Goede douche, heerlijk bed.

Het ontbijt had iets ruimer gemogen. Op zich prima, maar niet bijzonder goed of ruim.

The experience with the hotel and the staff was excellent. The location is easily accessible and just a short drive from the beaches. We had breakfast included, which was excellent and offered a wide variety of options, so we could try something new each day.

A lovely Boutique Hotel in Sanur. It’s not by the beach but with the bicycles we rented from the hotel it was only a short ride to the coast. There is a little back gate to avoid the main road out the front, which was great. The hotel is quiet and the gardens are beautiful. Very friendly staff and absolutely delicious breakfast at the in-house restaurant. We enjoyed our stay here.

Throughout our stay we couldn’t use the pool at times due to maintenance. That was a bit of shame as it would have been nice to cool down. The cleanliness of the bathroom could be improved.

Staff are kind and very helpful

A stunning boutique property with beautiful bungalows nestled among tranquil gardens. Quiet and relaxing. Timber floors and old photos were part of the charm. Provincial details throughout the property made this a unique stay. Breakfast at the restaurant was impressive with quality meals. My husband and I enjoyed our 15 minute included massage at the spa on the property. If we were staying longer than 2 nights we would have booked further treatments. A special mention to the front office supervisor, Yoost. He really is the heart of this property. His service was exceptional however this was the case for all the wonderful staff. We enjoyed the 12 minute walk to the beach because it was an opportunity to see nearby warungs and shops along the way.

We could not fault anything or anyone at this exceptional property. It really was a 10 out of 10 experience for us.

The garden and spacious room

Pool area looked nice.

We had booked a twin room and separately confirmed w hotel that it was available. Also informed w would arrive early evening. When we arrived our room was not ready and was asked to wait in lobby for 15-20 min as we would have an upgrade. We chose to have a cocktail in restaurant while waiting (own expense). We were escorted to a garden cabin w a double bed, not twin bed! Instead they had put in an overnight extra bed (camping style) next to the double bed. Neither of us wanted to sleep there. This is not what I booked or what the hotel had confirmed. When complaining I was taken to a regular double room but which could be converted to twin. When I demanded to have what we had booked and paid for, they again needed 30 min to convert. I asked why they did not give us this room to start with and they said something about a tree falling over (?). Time was now 8pm and we still had no room. By that time we had traveled all day and were too tired to go out, and asked for dinner compensation at the restaurant. They offered the cheapest meal available. I asked for other dish and offered to pay difference. Again we had to wait and wait for confirmation for measly 15.000 IDR. Less than 1 USD. This was completely ridiculous. The management of this situation was handled extremely poor and I only hope for other guests, that this was a one off. Needless to say we only stayed one night and then left for other hotel the next morning.

Nous avons logé dans un petit bungalow très spacieux. La piscine n’est pas très grande mais très fonctionnelle. Le restaurant, ouvert pour tous les services, est bon et copieux. Une mention spéciale à tout le personnel qui est très attentionné mais cela doit être une règle à Bali

L’emplacement de l’hôtel est proche d’une artère principale donc peut être bruyant.
