I came for Guilfest. Single room was good. I ate breakfast there which at £15 was quite expensive but was very good. Parking was provided at a cost.

Only issue with single room was that it got very hot unless I opened front window which let in the traffic noise. However I was there during the heatwave of 30 degrees plus and suspect not an issue at other times.

The location was close to city centre and the station. Even though was on a main road over the night was quite.

Breakfast was £15 but if booked with the hotel was half price. Not really worth the price. Ordered full English breakfast not the best quality, was the option either beans or hash browns. Then yogurts on the side if you wish to get one. Was expecting at least high quality of the food. Maintenance wised is alright-ish but there were stains on the carpet, probably was leak from the ceilings as there were yellow stains there. As others mentioned was quite hot in the hotel which I I didn’t mind even though outside wasn’t as hot so it might be an issue for others

The room was very clean and even though it didn't have AC they tried to cool the room with a fan.

The breakfast was good but we misunderstood the 50% off and thought that if we booked the breakfast directly with the hotel the night before, that it would be 50% off. Not true....you have to book the ROOM directly with the hotel in order to get the breakfast 50% off. Directions were NOT clear on that especially for someone coming from outside the UK. Spent 60pounds on breakfast for 2 days for 2 people when we thought we were spending 30.

The room was very good,clean and comfortable. Staff was very helpful and the breakfast was excellent.

Location was good. Breakfast was ok, not worth £15 though. If you’re looking for a good night’s sleep maybe ask for a rear room as the road was quite noisy. Bathroom was lovely.

I’ve already been in contact with the property separately about my stay, as it featured an unfortunately horrendous experience for me when a drunken male guest spent almost an hour trying to open my room door. There was no way of contacting reception staff as it was 2am and they leave at 10pm. They have an emergency button in reception but obviously I couldn’t access that as the guest was blocking my door. Luckily I had locked it and he did not get in, eventually he fell asleep in the hallway by my door. I have suggested to them that they add an out of hours number in the bedrooms or at least instructions on how to contact non emergent services for those of us who aren’t from the UK and wouldn’t know the numbers. The email responses I received eventually from the property really weren’t great and I definitely wouldn’t stay again.

Breakfast and staff all good, I did have a seperate walk in shower as requested but being elderly have having to use toilet facilities in middle of night, it was a little off pointing have to use a key to get in and out room and shower. I did have trouble with opening the door, but I solved that by sticking a shoe in the door space. Perhaps that was the only single room and using the shower was necessary

Small but clean, simple room. Bed very comfy (brought my own pillow so can’t rate theirs!). Fresh, modern bathroom. Has tea making facilities and a hairdryer.

Our room (No. 9) was located at the front of the property, overlooking Farnham Rd. The overnight temperature was ridiculously warm & humid and we had no option but to have the windows open, however, Farnham Rd appears to be a VERY busy road and traffic was heavy & noisy all through the night so we struggled to sleep. Ask for a rear facing room if you need the windows open all night!! There is a £10 parking charge too which we weren’t made aware on booking!

Its a quaint small hotel with easy access to most things in the area.

The room is actually better looking than the pics on the website. It has a homely feel to it and perfect for a woman travelling on her own.

A good little hotel - handy for University of Surrey campus. Tasty breakfast & friendly staff. My room was small and basic - but all I needed - with a very good shower and comfy bed. Good value.

The room was very hot and stuffy (but then it has been hot weather). A fan was provided, but didn't help all that much. The road noise was too much to have the window open at night (but very effective soundproofing when window closed).

No air conditioning. Usually, this should be fine, but not in the summer. There was only a fan in the room, but it was really noisy. No 24h reception. Expensive breakfast for what you get.

Excellent water pressure in the shower. Bathroom is clean and very well maintained. The room is clean overall.

The bed was too soft for my liking. I had requested a late check-in, but I wasn't given the access code until I called the hotel several times in the late afternoon. The staff insisted that the code had been sent via Booking.com and email, but I never received it, even after checking my junk and spam folders. It was only after I called repeatedly to explain that I hadn't received the information that they finally provided the code via email. Had I not called, I would have been left standing outside without access. I had breakfast the following morning. The receptionist on duty was friendly and helpful, and the coffee was good.

The location, even though it is on a hill; it's close to the town centre and very quiet. The room was the right size and the bed was very snoozable.

Enjoyable stay walking distance to train and High Street. Room was clean and offered all you needed. Especially liked the little bar in the foyer for a quiet drink. Breakfast was reasonably priced and good.

Perfect location and convenient parking. Staff were great, the reception and breakfast area were very nice. The bed was comfortable, and the shower was fantastic. Breakfast and coffee was amazing!

The room could do with a lick of paint, marks on the walls and some mould in the bathroom above the shower. The carpet was also badly marked. The room was very hot and noisy. A fan was provided but was really noisy so couldn’t have it on all night.

I really enjoyed my stay, the check in was easy, good parking, great breakfast and spotlessly clean room. Perfect little hotel 5 minutes walk from the town center

Very modern, comfortable bed, fantastic shower and a very nice place to stay. This is now a regular booking for my work trips and have rebooked already. The staff are very friendly and helpful, providing high quality food options at reasonable prices. Loved the lamb tagine!

The room.was exceptionally small.I have recorded the video of the room as well..The ceiling height is so small and I am not sure how booking.com allows a hotel to charge any amount ( despite such poor infrastructure). I spent almost £70 on this booking and it was totally worthless..there was not even space to walk.Overall it looked like a box room. I need full refund for the stay.

Great location. Just a short walk or bus/cab ride into Guildford. Breakfast was good - cereal, fruit, pastries plus cooked options. All staff i mer very friendly.desk inroom was a unexpected bonus.

My room was at the front of the building, which was absolutely fine in February, but if you're staying in summer when you want a window open the road could be noisy.
