Reviewed Sep 15, 2026The building itself and the lake views were beaufiful. The in-room tubs were quiet and clean. Rooms were spacious. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Free snacks were available in the afternoons and they had a delicious breakfast with both Japanese and western-style options.

西館の７階に泊まったが、廊下を歩いていると他の部屋の話し声がかなり聞こえてきた。 もう少しプライバシーが保てると良いと思う。 部屋にあったエアコンのリモート端末の液晶表示が古くて、老人には見えづらかった。

温泉は狭めで混む時期でなくとも人が多く、温泉内で喋る人がいるとかなり五月蝿く感じる、シャワーのお湯の出が他人の使用量により変化し続ける。 富士山は展望室に行かないと綺麗に見えないから、富士山をずっと見ていたい人には物足りないかも。私は満足しましたが。

夜晚入睡後可聽見他房因洗澡帶來的水管雜音，影響已入睡的家人。

Trouve plein de cheveux dans le onsen privé. Il aurait bien de filtre l'eau après chaque passage. La salle de bain de la chambre un peu vieillot et manque d'entretien.

Reviewed Aug 2, 2026Era una habitación preciosa con vista al lago que es precioso. El onsen es espectacular y el personal es de diez, siento no acordarme del nombre de la mujer tan amable que nos enseñó el hotel y la habitación, pero era estupenda, muy simpática y servicial.
Nada, todo fue perfecto. Una nube fue la culpable de que no pudiésemos ver el monte Fuji, pero contra eso no se puede hacer nada, jajajaja

Reviewed Jul 24, 2026L’établissement est très bien placé entre le lac et le mont Fuji. La gare est très proche, le service de navette depuis la gare est très appreciable, le personnel est très agréable et met tout en œuvre pour le bien être des clients. Nous remercions spécialement Ara qui a été d’une grande aide et gentillesse pour nous aider à récupérer un bagage oublié dans un bus. Les petits déjeuners et diners sont variés et de qualité. La chambre familiale avec onsen privé et vue sur le lac était top.

We never booked an ADA room and when we told them and asked for another room they told us that the hotel was sold out and that they could not do anything about it. What was supposed to be the highlight of our trip turned out to be a nightmare!

Reviewed Jul 8, 2026富士山を南に、河口湖を北に見るホテルのロケーションがまず良い。 到着してから、水やコーヒーやお茶のサービス、さらにお菓子(駄菓子でなくそれなりの売店で売っている物）も好きなだけ部屋に持ち帰ることが出来て嬉しかったです。食事は朝晩、バイキングでしたが、内容はとても満足のいくものでおいしかったです。バイキングは冷凍だったり、味や食材がイマイチだとホントガッカリするのですが、96歳母も満足のいくものでたくさん食べていました。風呂は大浴場は特別なものではありませんが、清潔でまあ普通。部屋に温泉付半露天風呂がつくものを予約していたので、大浴場以外に母はゆっくり部屋付風呂を楽しんでいました。ホテルでゆっくりするというのが96歳母のための旅行の目的でしたので、良く出来たと思います。

Reviewed Jul 1, 2026夕食、朝食共にビュッフェ大満足でした、品数め多く、フルーツも夜と朝で違っていてケーキの数も豊富で、食事は言う事なし。
帰り際にフロントに数人スタッフがいたにもかかわらず、ありがとうございましたの一言がなく、？？？数人立っててです。自動精算機終わって帰り際に、なんの言葉もなく、接遇なってないと思い、もう二度と利用することはないと思いました。

Reviewed Jun 27, 2026Breakfast and dinner buffets were very good. Consider variations to the menu for folks that stay there for more than 1 meal each. The hotel staff was extremely pleasant. The snack/drink area was a nice surprise and provided convenience. We selected the foam pillow option which we do not normally see as an option. Pillows we got were comfortable. Location of the hotel by the lake was extremely beautiful.
Appears that the hotel upgraded the front entrance. The rooms though need major TLC and modernization. Faucet leaks in the room, bathrooms are extremely small. Toilet rooms need deep cleaning to rid of the years of use and smell. I respect the culture of taking your shoes off to come into the room but it is a bit hard to get over the fact that the carpets looked like they need a good cleaning if you expect guests to take off their shoes at the door. Also hard to expect hotel guests to put on the hotel toilet slippers to use the bathroom in their own room when the toilet room smells. Are the hotel toilet slippers re-used with each guest? I could not get over the fact that upon check in, we were handed our bath towels from the general service area. I assume this is done because there was no space in the rooms for towels? There was a portable clothes wire rack in the room that we used to hang the towels but it was big/flimsy and just got in the way. There was no place for our luggage. There were 4 closets in the room but 2 of them were filled with bedding supplies. And the remaining 2 were so small and cluttered. There were at least 8 pair of slippers in them so we could use to go out on the balcony. I think the small balcony could only fit 2 people out there. We stayed in the tatami room that can sleep 2-6, East Wing with views of Lake Kawaguchiko. We had 3 people. We ended up using the tatami room floor for our luggage. Overall I was disappointed because the state of the room was not what was pictured from the hotel. There are not many options of places to stay on the lake so if you do end up staying here, I would suggest choosing the renovated rooms at least to decrease your chances of leaky and smelly bathrooms.

Reviewed Jun 27, 2026We had a wonderful stay at Fuji Lake Hotel. The hotel has so much charm and character, making it feel warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive throughout our stay. The location is fantastic, right next to Lake Kawaguchi, with beautiful views of the lake. There are convenient bike rental shops nearby, making it easy to explore the lakeside at your own pace. We also really appreciated the complimentary pick-up service from the train station, which made our arrival completely hassle-free. A truly memorable stay, and we would happily return on our next visit to the area.

Reviewed Jun 21, 2026This hotel is a traditional Japanese Hotel, the highpoint was the dinner at the Hotel, this was excellent and the only highpoint of our stay.
Hotel is old and not in good repair, it is decently clean but nowhere near the standard set by other hotels during our stay. The booking site is missing information vital for the stay and use of the facilities we were met with additional charges and information that we were not allowed to use the onsen facilities due to rules not included on the booking.com site. For families with young chlidren my advise is to stay away from this hotel.

Reviewed Jun 17, 2026飯店有很多接駁班次來往飯店和車站， 凌晨雖叫不到計程車，但附近有共享腳踏車可以租，所以我們還是有成功看到清晨的富士山！ 房間內有浴缸，若需要泡私人溫泉可撥電話跟櫃檯預約，大眾池有分露天、半露天和室內，都非常舒服～還有按摩椅可以舒壓！ 服務非常地好！餐廳可以看到富士山，餐點也非常美味，比台灣很多有做吃到飽的飯店還有水準！哈密瓜超好吃

Reviewed Jun 11, 2026Fantastisk hotell med sjarm og koselige detaljer. Herlig spa (onsen) i underetasjen som jeg hadde helt for meg selv kl 8 om morgenen. Veldig hyggelig betjening! Utrolig bra middagsbuffé med masse å velge mellom! Sushi, kjøtt, sjømat, desserter, masse ulik drikke med og uten alkohol. Fint med et observatorierom øverst for å se Fuji. Dessverre var det litt for overskyet denne gangen.
Ingenting. Men litt synd at utebassenget bare er åpent i sommersesongen.
