Yamagisi Ryokan

清掃が行き届いていない、ハンドタオルすらない、夕食は抜きでわからないが朝食は全てが冷めている。

We asked to leave our luggage while walking around and the stuff was happy to assist. They were very polite. The onsen was very good. It’s available 23/7, between 00:00 - 01:00 am is the cleaning time. The TV in the room was showing the video surveillance from he town with nice music of chirping birds - nice background for sleeping. We had authentic experience sleeping on futons, bare in mind it’s a hard floor. We had in the room backscratcher!

The riyokan is a bit old, but this was not much big of a deal and we had a very pleasant stay. Our room was facing a wall but it was decorated with plastic bamboos which was the tiny detail I appreciated, anyway I was there for the mountains and the lake which was across the street and definitely didn’t care where my window was facing because I used the room only for sleeping. The only thing I didn’t like is when I had opened the wardrobe it was a bit smelly of old not fresh air. Just to clarify everything was washed and smelled good from the detergent, only the wardrobe had sketchy smell.

Excellent location - would recommend a lake view room.

A 10min à pieds de la gare de Kawaguchiko et au bord du lac, ce ryokan est idéalement placé. Notre chambre était de bonne taille et petite surprise au réveil, nous avons eu la chance d'avoir vue sur le Mont Fuji 🤩 L'établissement est propre et le personnel très agréable. Point de chute idéal pour admirer le mont fuji ou pour faire son ascension

Peut-être juste le fait de devoir déposer la clé à chaque fois que l'on sort mais c'est un détail

Oben bei den Onsen hat es zw. Etwas nach Treibstoff oder ähnlichem gerochen. Personal war super Freund aber rel wenig englisch

Great location next to the lake. The onsen was amazing paired with the fireworks festival.

The beds had no cushion compared to other ryokan. Were rushed by staff during dinner which was expensive.

Locatie aan het meer, lekker Japans ontbijt, leuke Japanse stijl kamer, fijne onsen op het dak. Ook een shuttle service naar het station.

Inchecken was mogelijk vanaf 15:00 uur, maar voor die tijd was ook de hele receptie dicht en de aankomsthal donker. Dat gaf een wat vreemd en onheimisch gevoel bij binnenkomst van het hotel.

No microwave and we have to pay extra for public bath either we use it or not.

Proximity to the train station, Lake Kawaguchiko, the Rope gateway ( although it was closed for repair), shops, restaurants and Family Mart. Love the decor, room was comfortable and the onsen was delightful.

We found a very comfortable Ryokan and kind staff. They do their best efforts for helping us as many times as we need. Onsen is unforgettable experience and breakfast too.

Het personeel sprak goed Engels, vanaf de ryokan naar het hotel was een prima shuttle service. De public bath was erg fijn. Genoeg te doen in de buurt.

De kamer was best stoffig. Dit had wat schoner gemogen. En de bedden waren wat rommelig opgemaakt.

受付の方々、皆さん丁寧で気持ちが良かったです。浴場は最高！清潔で広々していて、移動の疲れも飛びました。

部屋も綺麗で接客も丁寧で気持ちが良かったです。

部屋が特殊な場所に有り、エレベーターから階段を使っての移動が必要でした。若ければ問題あるレベルでは有りませんが。

ネットで２部屋別々に申し込み、メールで並びの部屋を依頼させて貰いましたが、問題無く並びにして貰いました。部屋も綺麗でとても良い宿でした。

所々廊下に段差が有りました。注意書きあると良いですね。

The room was very clean, comfortable and gives an authentic Japanese experience. The extra I paid for the Ryokan dinner was also exceptionally delicious! The view of Lake Kawaguchiko was also very scenic and beautiful!

De eerste kamer had een enorme rooklucht terwijl het een rookvrij hotel is. Kamer 2 was geen Japanse kamer zoals gevraagd maar een soort gevangenis kamer welke niet schoon was. Onder andere vele vliegjes in de douche. Kamer 3 was uiteindelijk klein maar ok.

Klasycznie, zachowanie tradycji , funkcjonalnie , lokalizacja -, super, widok na jezioro , cisza . Onsen bardzo fajny 👍👌

Personnel un peu distant et pas très accueillant (surtout le jeune homme de l’accueil ) Les explications sont approximatives pour les équipements et les services ( passage dans la chambre,ou mettre les poubelles,changement des serviettes de toilettes…) Du coup rapport qualité prix un peu cher pour les prestations c dommage

The location is excellent, with a view of the mountains, and the lake. The staff were courteous, and hot tub facility was excellent. The hotel is located a bit farther away from the train station, but they did have a shuttle to do the drop off. For the check in we had to take a taxi, since we arrived outside of the shuttle operating hours.

El Onsen sin duda alguna lo mejor del alojamiento. Buena ubicación.

Fue un poco mala suerte, pero coincidimos con varias excursiones de estudiantes y estaban un poco saturados.

建物外観、内観が綺麗だった。 となりがコンビニ。 外国人スタッフの方が頑張っていた。

テレビが異常に小さい リモコンがきかない。 布団が薄い。 一部の部屋の窓からの景色は隣の建物の壁。 回りに食べ物屋はほぼ無い。 片方の露天風呂？が異常に小さい。 もう片方の露天風呂は回りの建物から覗き放題。 旅館側は分かっているはずなのに、何も対策しないのは理解出来ない。 あんな露天風呂、女性使用時間は裸をさらしてるようなもん。

The yukata, hot water/tea in the room, and breakfast were all amazing. The ryokan was within walking distance of the station, and they also had a shuttle if needed. The baths were clean, hot, and relaxing. They had a great selection of amenities for the guests to use.

Upon checking into the ryokan, I felt a little disregarded as the staff wasn't speaking directly to me. Even though I was the one who booked the stay and had initiated the conversation. Minor inconsistency, but it did not affect the stay.

The breakfast was delicious. I was very happy to see that the place was just across the street from the lake. The room and the overall facilities were clean and well decorated.

The onsen was nice once we got in and the location is great right on the lake.

We were told onsen would be available the whole time but it wasn’t between 19.30-21.30 and at the same time we got told we’d have to pay a mandatory onsen tax which was cheap (400 I think) but also a bit annoying considering we couldn’t even use it when we wanted to. Bedroom was fine but felt like a tacky imitation of actual ryokan, basically just mattresses instead of beds in a hotel room. Also our shower didn’t work and our wifi was poor.

Free shuttle service to and fro Kawaguchiko station; Staff spoke English and were extremely helpful; Several restaurants and cafes conveniently located nearby; Onsen is great and alternated daily so you can experience both types of outdoor onsen if you stay more than 2 nights. Slept really well after using the onsen; Pillow and futon were very comfortable.

Rooms were very cold as the air-conditioning didn't have heating function; had to request for a heater for the room.

The location is very convenient, right in front of Lake Kawaguchiko which is 5 mins walk from the Ropeway. There are a few bicycle rental shops nearby to rent and cycle around the area. The room is clean, comfortable, and a good experience a Ryokan stay. Would definitely come back to stay again.

Es ist natürlich kein Ryokan, sondern ein sehr abgewohntes Hotel. Ausstattung alt, Sitzkissen mit Flecken, Freundlichkeit unterirdisch. Eine Unverschämtheit für den Preis.

Atendimento fantástico, funcionarios de uma enorme simpatia, sempre prontos a ajudar!!! Pequeno almoço do mais tradicional que evidenciei no Japão!!! Gostei tanto que tenho quarto reservado para esta noite em outro hotel, fiz check e de seguida fiz check out pois nao gostei e voltei a reservar no Yamagisi Ryokan!!!!

El Onsen muy correcto, la ubicacion tambien. Todo estaba muy limpio. El personal es agradable. El servicio de shuttle se agradece. Me gust;o mucho los extras de jabones en el Onsen, al llegar por la noche se agradecia

No esperaba tatami con colchoneta pura y dura en el suelo, ni que el desayuno fuese cerrado tipo oriental. Al final decidimos no contratarlo.

Location is amazing!!! Right infront of the lake where they offer boat tours and about a 13 min walk to kawaguchiko station. Good food options nearby. Nice onsen inside too!

The room was a bit dusty but not a huge issue

Staff was amazingly professional and kind. I ended up deciding to still add the breakfast and dinner and glad I did. I've experienced so many unknown dishes and it was all wonderful. The onsen was also very relaxing.

Wifi is sometimes slow

Close to the lift. You can be the first person in line. The Japanese breakfast was great and even tried the natto and was delicious. I don't like natto, so I was surprisingly good here.

Probably because of pollen season. I was with allergy thaf I couldn't stop sneezing at night. I will try to be in a different season to see if it was the reason and not the dust.

Onsen is available everyday. The bed and pillows are comfortable and the room is spacious. Receptionists are friendly.

年配のスタッフさんが、駐車場の場所まで案内してくれとても親切でした。お部屋の広さ、ロケーションに満足しています。

館内の食堂の匂いが少し気になりました、またホームページに食事を追加する場合の料金表などあると選択しやすいです。大浴場のシャワーの勢いが弱めでした、チェックアウトギリギリだったためか、内風呂の温度がぬるめでした。今回は寝るだけでしたので、1泊10,000円〜20,000円/部屋の素泊りプランもメニュー化お願いします。

Très joli ryokan et surtout notre première expérience en la matière. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié les petits déjeuners traditionnels. Les futons étaient également très bien, nous avons adoré les onsens qui sont magnifiques Arigatō gozaimasu 🙏

Die Zimmer waren so, wie wir es uns vorstellten. Klassisch Japanisch. Sauber. Wir haben es mal gemacht und die Erfahrung damit sammeln dürfen, müssen es aber jetzt nicht nochmals machen. Das Anziehen des Kimonos.

Das Frühstück. Wir hatten nicht gewusst, dass es kein Buffet gab. Wir hatten uns auf was anderes Eingestellt. Da wir Tattoos haben, durften wir das öffentliche Bad nicht zur gewohnten Stunden benutzen. Erst so ab 2200 Uhr, wenn fast keine Personen mehr da waren. Das war schade...

The ryokan is lakeside, close to the station, ropeway and sightseeing boat. The traditional Japanese breakfast was excellent and filling. The onsen was great. Our 11 year old boys loved the experience. Unfortunately I don’t like sleeping on the floor and the futons were thin. I was grateful there were extra futons in the closet that I could use for extra padding. They provide shuttle service to the station which is helpful if you have a lot of luggage.

Less than 150 feet across from lake front. Staff members are friendly, courteous and polite. Breakfast was tasty and very traditional.

Lack of a dry or wet sauna. Also no view, or attractive scenery for the hot bath area.

In house onsen was good. Breakfast for non vegetarians is good. Not so much for vegetarians. Location just on front of the lake is great although we did not get the lake view or the Fuji view rooms.

Las habitaciones eran prolijas, al igual que las instalaciones del hotel en general. La ubicación es muy buena, a unos pocos minutos caminando de la estación de ómnibus y con vista al lago de la ciudad.

Hubo un problema con la reserva por el costo de uno de la familia, que el hotel no lo consideraba menor, y no se hicieron responsables. El personal era frío y poco abierto a solucionar el problema generado. A su vez, el precio era exagerado para como están diagramadas las habitaciones y las instalaciones en general.

Spacious rooms with traditional Japanese Roykan Fitout - therefore minimal. Good location on the lake and walkable distance to local restaurants, shops, ropeway, boat trips etc Decent rates for rooms. Readily available Parking across the road in Public car park They have public baths on site though we didn’t try it.

Shower was a bit scatty. Beds ( matress on floor in Roykan fashion) were not very comfortable. But there were additional mattresses available in the wardrobe if required.
