Excellent central location with car parking underground AND opposite Big room with full size fridge/freezer and kitchen facilities. Good bathroom - bath could have been slippy...

Slight construction in the area makes exiting the car park a bit cumbersome. Not the fault of the hotel obviously.

How the location was near absolutely everything! Walking distance was what we needed!

Staff sweared at us. Staff was racist. Accused my friend of being a prostitute for sitting with other hotel residents. Refused to check the cameras to see that friend was not seen going with any hotel resident to provide sexual favors that they claimed.

Place was dirty, deplorable, both my wife and daughter are asthmatic, it was a health hazard and an awful experience, we stayed for 1 hour and 20 minutes looking for another hotel. Good thing we found it just 2 blocks away, clean as it should.

Breakfast was delicious. Hot bacon and plain omelettes, baked beans large selection of breads, muffins, fresh fruit yogurt, make your own waffles with whipped cream and syrup. We arrived at 9:30 am for breakfast and there was still everything available. Place was clean. Nice option was to eat breakfast on their personal patio area. Room was nice and the full kitchen was great too. Great place for extended stay with fudges and full fridge stove and dishwasher available. We travelled by foot to a nearby restaurant and checked out a supermarket across the street.

The mattress could have been more comfortable. A small night light would help light up the bathroom at night. Without it you are forced to turn on the bright full light. Very tight parking lot and extra charge to park there.

Staff and cleanliness were superb. Promity to shopping and TD Colisuem brilliant.

Freezer was dirty, moved us to a second room... Freezer and coffee maker were dirty, toilet paper - only half a roll in either room. Fake eyelashes found when opening up the pullout couch

The hotel is okay and fairly clean, but if you are on the street side the noise can be intrusive. The hotel obviously knew this as they had ear plugs in reception. It would be better if the added better sound proofing, I don't want to wear ear plugs in a hotel room. Parking was also too expensive. The hand soap was empty on arrival. The shower base was cracked, and the general decoration need some attention. The room was not cheap so these things add up.

The hotel itself was very nice! The staff are excellent and went out of their way to return some clothes that we left behind in a drawer. The breakfast was very good, hot with some nice choices. Lovely outdoor terrace. Nice chocolate chip cookies and iced lemon water. Beautiful large room with lots of storage and a nice kitchen.

I would rate them as excellent but the downtown area of Hamilton is suffering from some social decline. Looks like it used to be beautiful and hopefully could be again. Also the underground parking is kind of tight to maneuver in but is locked. We still had a lovely vacation despite these things.

A lot of homeless people, clearly high on drugs, around the hotel itself. No hotel bar or choice of food. Breakfast wasn’t great either.

Great location next to HESS VILLAGE and near downtown. Great Breakfast, good gym whiich had everything I needed. A pool which we did not use.

I paid for 2 beds and I only got one and a coach. Also I was surprised by the security deposit which cost more than the room and I told parking was available in another building across the street.

Beautiful, modern, very clean, close to the restaurants and popular spots. And the staff kept me smiling and laughing while there. Very good personalities. As a solo traveler, it was a good & comfy experience

Clean and comfortable, very friendly staff, good coffee and breakfast. I could easily get where I wanted to go walking or by public transit.

It is located downtown, and the urban problems of unhoused fellow citizens and urban poverty are present. Having said that, as a solo female traveller I have not experienced any problems at any time of day or night. I never felt unsafe returning late at night after concerts. In fact, I would stay here again.

Breakfast exceeded my expectations. Room was very comfortable. Restaurants within one block were great.

Outdoor patio should have some umbrellas.

Bathroom shower has inadequate "grab bars". Those are pretty standard now in all hotels. No "handheld" option, just an old fashion shower head. Otherwise bathroom facilities were great.

Janice at the front desk was a great help. She is an excellent person, capable of handling situation and management of guests. I left my sunglass in the room during check out. She sent someone to the room and brought it to the reception for me to pick up after I called her. I appreciate this kindness and professionalism of her. Hess Market is a minute away. I loved hanging out at Limani Greek Bar. The owner George is a great person. I made friendship with his people.

The staff were very helpful and friendly, in particular Emy and Isabella. Very accommodating. It was good that breakfast was included. Comfortable bed.

At night it as very noisy, being in close proximity to main roads. The noise disrupted my sleep. The kitchen could have done with some more utensils, including a colander.

Location is great,especially if you are going to an event at TD Coliseum or the Arts or conventions. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast and the light evening fare were both well planned and presented. I love waffles! We were fortunate to have great weather so very much enjoyed the outdoor courtyard. The bed and pillows were great.

I hate paying for anything. Lol.

掲載写真にはダイニングテーブルや寝室内デスクが写っていましたが、実際のお部屋にはありませんでした。 息子のTOEFL受験前日の宿泊だったため、勉強やPC作業がしやすい部屋を期待して予約したので少し残念でした。リビングにデスクはありましたが、寝室で勉強するためには追加で小さなテーブルを借りる必要がありました。部屋のレイアウトは掲載写真とかなり印象が異なりました。

A bit of a sketchy neighborhood. Be careful walking outside, even though Hess Village is nearby and has some nice restaurants. Bar soap should be in the bathrooms.

We recently traveled through the Ontario area and stayed in three different hotels during our trip — and this one was, without question, the absolute best. Everything about our stay was top-notch from beginning to end. The true gems of this hotel are the wonderful reception ladies,  Robin and Janice. They were incredibly warm, professional, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. Their kindness and attention made us feel truly welcome, and they are a big reason why we would love to return. Our suite was amazing — spacious, beautifully maintained, immaculately clean, and equipped with an extremely comfortable bed. Even our 14-year-old teenager, who can sometimes be very picky, absolutely loved the hotel, which says a lot! We also really enjoyed the fantastic swimming pool, the well-equipped gym area, and one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve had in a long time. Every detail of the hotel exceeded our expectations. This was truly an outstanding experience, and we will definitely return in the future. Thank you again to Janice and Robin for making our stay so memorable!

Didn't like that there was so much traffic to get into the parking lot but its also expected being downtown. I really dont have negative things to say we had a great time.

The parking was insane. It was an extra $20 and across the street in a parkade on the fourth level, except when we arrived there was an event in the stadium so there was lots of traffic and it took 40min to get from the entry way of the parkade to just the 2nd level, bc cars coming out block cars going up at EVERY corner. People were honking and yelling--it was ridiculous. We gave up and paid an extra $20 to park on the 2nd floor of the parkade until midnight, and went back that night at 11pm (when the was no traffic) to move it up to the fourth level. The pull out bed is not a full couch length and it has a matress about 1-inch thick, so all you feel are the metal bars -- impossible to sleep on. We had 1 toilet paper roll and ran out, had to use tissue box. The swipe card stopped working twice and we couldn't get into our room. The pool floor was dirty.

Internet connection wasn't good enough for a stream, like YouTube or other video streams. But emails were working.

I loved everything about this hotel. The room with the kitchen, amazing! The pool was warm. The bed was super comfortable. The breakfast was great and every staff member I spoke with was soo friendly to my girls and I. Would retun and 100% reccomend!

I liked everything

The extended check out time was convenient for the race. Having the breakfast earlier was also convenient and with take out containers. Having a fitness centre and pool was beneficial.

The parking. Could not park in garage. Need to have outside parking for larger vehicles. Not enough channels for television. Homeless and garbage right next to hotel.

The breakfast was great, the staff were accomodatng and understanding, the sheets were soft, the TV was easy to operate was offered to change rooms but too late at 9pm and my partner had gone to meet family so I couldn't do it on my own

the bed was a double which is too short for us and wanted a queen size, the shower head was broken, the clocks were still on standard time and couldn't change the alarm clock. the door handle was wonky and needed the maid to help open it when we arrived. the room was across from the elevator which made it noisy

Took 2 payments out plus took 500 deposit from credit card which made it declined every time we went out

the Breakfast was good, a little un expected .. The room was quiet and comfortable. We stay here often when we come to Hamilton , We ll be back next time

Came here to stay since I was going to a concert. The receptionists I encountered were both super friendly. The breakfast buffet had options and was delicious. They had a waffle maker (even though I didn’t use it). The room was spacious and had a kitchenette. I had a bed and a sofa bed pull out. Very clean and I thought it was a very nice stay for the price. Parking is extra but not bad since for event parking it would have been for that amount or more for a few hours and here we had the overnight. Also, so close to TD Coliseum. About a 6 min walk.

Staff at the reception was exceptional. Staff at breakfast was helpful and attentive. The variety for the breakfast was very good. The room I had was clean, warm and comfortable. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

The area around the hotel was a bit sketchy and I didn’t feel particularly safe out at night. I understand that it’s not the fault of the hotel itself.

Air conditioner rattled excessively. Bedside table light would not turn off, as the button was stuck requiring me to unplug the light from the socket. I made a pleasant complaint to the front desk staff, however her response was that all air conditioners make noise. I attempted to explain that there is a difference between operating noise and loud mechanical rattling, but to no avail, as she was stuck on a rote response. Further the night lamp remained unplugged and did not work the second night of my stay, after she stated the lamp would be repaired. In addition to noise internal to the room, the roar of muscle cars and loud motor bikes continued well after midnight, as the hotel is located near a outdoor patio area of the city, with college and university students enjoying the night life.

Employees were present and hotel was quiet and comfortable. Lobby and dining room were clean.

Room was very dark. Asked for an extra lamp 2 times and never received it. Jacuzzi tub was not clean. I had to clean it before use. You could see soap scum around tub where jets are and when you ran your hand around the tub you could feel where it had been cleaned and where it hadn't. Breakfast was good but felt everything was cold including eggs and meat choices. But a good selection of food.

Staff was excellent, very nice room and great breakfast. Dog friendly was a bonus!

We had a wonderful 6 night stay over the Christmas week at the Staybridge and we were comfortable, well fed and taken care of by the customer focused staff. From one of the best buffet breakfasts I have had with lots of variety over the days compliments of the kitchen staff Suzie and Mary Grace - thank you! To Jen, who ensured our rooms were kept clean and even chatted with us about our trip. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hamilton, not least because of the excellent location and parking facilities. Well done, worth every penny!
