El clóset/baño está separado de la habitación únicamente por una puerta corrediza y el WC tiene una pequeña puerta de cristal, por lo que hay muy poca privacidad. Éramos tres personas y constantemente teníamos que pedir toallas adicionales, ya que solo dejaban dos. También tuve un descuento incluido en mis condiciones de Booking que no les aparecía y fue complicado conseguir que lo aplicaran. Creo que fue más por desconocimiento del personal sobre cómo gestionarlo que por falta de voluntad. En general, es un hotel bonito, pero creo que la relación calidad-precio podría ser mejor.

Beautiful hotel with great finishes, very clean and great staff.

The toilet was running in our room and they had to move us to another room. The other room’s bathroom light was not working.

היתה בעייה של מים חמים אבל ברגע שהודענו לקבלה תוך מספר דקות העניין סודר - זה היה כמעט כל יום אז אולי שווה שמלכתחילה יהיו מים מספיק חמים.

Lovely, peaceful space - open central courtyard with seating space for eating and relaxing (altho not an abundance of casual seating). We had a suite on the second floor (no 21) and it was lovely. Super quiet (other than the occasional dog bark and firework). All rooms are set off the courtyard, so there is no street noise. Most staff were super friendly (shoutout to ?Herrero at the restaurant). We also really enjoyed eating at the restaurant several times - really tasty food. Overall we loved it!

More a recommendation to hotel - when we arrived and were offered a fruit drink, we asked if it was safe to drink and the receptionist basically said "maybe" (we asked again and got the same answer). I know the water in town is bad, but since they use bottled water.... anyway, no complaints. Finally, the building itself is def showing signs of age - didnt bother us, but for a high-end hotel it's very noticeable. Didnt notice it in the room, but elsewhere def.

La configuración de las habitaciones no me encanto. Me sentí un poco como en un motel aunque el diseño en general del hotel es muy bonito. Las cortinas de la habitación # 7 necesitan ajustarse ya que NO cierran adecuadamente.

Très bel établissement mélange artisanat/déco locale et confort international. Chambre de bonne taille bien équipée. Excellents produits savon, shampoing, conditionner et lait corporel. Personnel très gentil et à l'écoute; très réactif ! Nous avons eu des soucis sur la note finale (que nous avons constaté le soir après notre départ) qui reprenait certains extras payés directement et pas chargés en chambre, mais l'hotel a correctement ajusté le décompte et remboursé la différence; Très correct !

Le grand hall avec le bar et la réception était trop froid le soir - la porte de l'hotel restant ouverte jusque 23.00, il était difficile d'y passer du temps avec un cocktail ou un café. Des chauffages d'appoint ou un grand feu de cheminée serait parfait pour réchauffer l'atmosphère... Dommage car l'endroit est très cosy et sympa mais le froid ne donne pas envie de s'y assoir.

The overall hotel is ok , we stayed at the best suite of the hotel… however we experienced a few issues : WIFI WAS NOT AVAILABLE IN THIS SUITE !!! …. They DO NOT have frigo-bar inside the room, they ONLY provide two small bottles of water per day ( that’s it ) , they ONLY provide TWO bath towels, so we were asking for more towels every si how day we were there … food is good , excellent breakfast, staff is very friendly , but the overall experience was a just regular one

The location in San Cristobal was central, easy walk to everywhere. The staff were always friendly, even though the day we arrived the town had been in a tornado of a storm. Everyone went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The green wall upon entering our room was beautiful, unfortunately too cold (and after a storm) to use the little plunge pool in the garden. The bed was super comfortable and large, the bathroom amenities spelt beautiful and the gift shop had beautiful local products. Ordering tours thru the hotel was easy and convenient and our driver Abel was attentive and informative. In Chiapa de Corzo he directed us to Abrecol restaurant where we had the most amazing meal with a view over the river, that was associated with the hotel. Flor on the front desk was always helpful.

Even after a storm, breaking doors/windows and affecting electricity and wifi, the staff clean up and attitude was exceptional, so nothing bad to report

Mi primera reserva fue directamente en el hotel por via telefonica pero la persona que me atendio no registró mi solicitud. Despues me percaté que no la habia hecho porque renuncio y tuve nuevamente que hacer una reserva pero con un costo mas elevado

Our first time visiting San Cristobal. We searched all over the internet and discovered wonderful photos of this hotel. Once we arrived, we discovered one of the best designed and crafted hotels in Mexico. The design is unique and original. Best location in town.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. The food and drinks were excellent quality. The room was large and the gardens were tranquil. This hotel provides a restaurant with prices that are not inflated.

The hotel has excellent service, the whole staff is very professional and friendly we felt at home. The ambiance and decoration is so typical from this area with wool, pottery and hand made fabrics make this place so unique and special. They pay so much attention to your needs and comfort. We had the most delicious meals with a gorgeous presentation. I’m definitely coming back to this unique and spectacular place!

This property exudes a cool modern vibe. It is just two small blocks away from the center of town. However, the larger suite with breakfast all at half the price at Guayaba Inn made me wish I had stayed at the other property entirely

This hotel was amazing in every way. We really enjoyed the luxury of spending time here. Very friendly staff, more than comfortable bed and excellent food. As many reviews have said an escape to return to after the busy streets of San Cristobal and all day ours. Would highly recommend.

A beautiful place with wonderful people. We spent here five days and enjoyed every detail of the team’s hospitality as well as the architecture. The restaurant is excellent as well. To conclude, very recommended, a wonderful place to relax and stay. Very kind people!

PERFECTION. If the world was run with the attention to detail shown at Hotel BO, the world would be a paradise to live in. The hotel is a gem. Aesthetic perfection across the lobby, dining room, garden and rooms. Even the playlist is perfect. The food is delicious and the service is so dedicated professional and with a smile. Value for money in July 2024 was excellent. In short, well done and keep it up! Only things that are not great but out of the hotel’s reach and are a problem across town are poor WiFi (bring a book and disconnect or download your movies before) and in some days of fiesta constant fireworks noise in the town.

What else can I say other than amazing! From the moment you walk in, it’s just stunning. The grounds are so nice and inviting. Staff was so accommodating and gave us fantastic restaurant recommendations. They even arranged airport transfers for us and day trips. The hotel restaurant was actually our best meal. Cannot find enough good things to say about Hotel Bo. A must stay in San Cristobal de las Casas.

With the street and building concept of the city of San Cristobal de las Casas, you would have hard to find this Hotel in the street without the help of a local guide… - BUT: Once you managed to find and pushed the door, you‘re in a 5 star oasis in the middle of the town, just 2 blocks away from the market & Co… All amenities you may dream of, fantastic rooms and suites, a VERY lovely inside-veranda and… A TOP RESTAURANT handled by, what I call it: A TOP CHIEF who would deserve a Michelin Star ! All in all, we were SO HAPPY to stay in this little jewel !

From the moment we arrived we knew it was a momentous mistake. There was an event going on in the restaurant the noise and we could hardly make ourselves heard to the Reception staff. We arrived in our room which was at the back of the hotel resembling motel style. The room was totally ill equipped ie lack of storage, no fridge/minibar and A/C which struggled. The room was very dark and only one side of the bed had a light switch. They could not provide us with an iron/ironing board and adequate complimentary water. Some of the sockets did not work and overall the wiring was questionable. Our travel agent had arranged for us to be picked up at 6 am and a breakfast box had been ordered as we had paid for breakfast but they did not open until 7am. At 6 am we could not raise the bellboy and everything was absolutely pitch black. There were no outside lights so we had to use our phone torch to light our path down the stairs with four suitcases!!! No help was offered by anyone at anytime. Useless.
