Reviewed Sep 19, 2026After reading the reviews I was worried! However it was not that bad. Room was a bit tired but clean and I only stayed 1 night so it was fine. Beds basic but clean. Bathroom definitely needed some maintenance with the floor tiles but again it was clean so I could put up with it for 1 night. All in all better than I expected

Noise especially after requesting quiet room. We were put in a front facing corner room on the main rd opposite a regular salsa event blaring music till 11.30pm. Poor state of repairs to bathroom cracked tiles, rotting timber in shower area and messy amateur siliconing to joins, faded curtains, layout of furniture preventing easy access to storage space. Drab and unloved feel to the whole room.

We stayed in a second floor room. It was badly maintained; dirty carpets in the corridors, broken tiles in the bathroom with water leaking from underneath, loose skirting board in the room, holes in the plaster, water seeping from floor boards, so that we had to use towels.

Reviewed Sep 15, 2026The Kings Cross Inn Hotel provided a warm and pleasant stay. The staff answered any questions that we had and will assist you 24 hours per day. The room has a refrigerator and was comfortable. The location is in the heart of London and directly across from the train station. The location also has many restaurants and sights to see.

Reviewed Sep 12, 2026Kings Cross Inn Hotel This is a very low-grade hotel (definitely not three star). The room was dilapidated with ugly, cheap MFI furniture, the bed was a creaking metal frame with a sagging, uncomfortable mattress, we couldn't have the window open because there was a noisy air-conditioning unit outside. The bathroom was outdated and scruffy and there was only a rain shower. The whole ambience was utterly charmless, cheap and uncomfortable. The only positive is the location near Kings Cross.

The communal areas and.the room were not particularly clean. The hallways needed a good hoover and the floor in the room was also not clean. When I booked the room it said breakfast was included and when we went down in the morning we were informed it was not.

Her helped me to carry my luggage and helped me with booking of Uber . Overall my experience was very good . The hotel very close to alot of shops and train statin

Beds were uncomfortable and you could feel the springs. Dirty shower curtain, unpainted water marked wall, dirty splattered window with a dirty wall opposite as the view. Noise from outside (possibly trains/tubes) until early hours then started a couple of hours later. Noise from corridor and other rooms could be heard, sound of cases pulled across the floors from rooms above

Room smelled of chemicals. Felt very grimey. Bathroom was functional. We stayed because of mass flight cancellations and there were no rooms available. Paid £320 for 1 night. Awful! Should have slept on the airport floor. Bed was small and hard.

A new visible sign up on the wall above Ladbrokes as you come out of underground , when you do see that sign it does not indicate where the actual entrance is around the corner. Now I know where to go

Olor a humedad, las tuberías ....la habitación no se podía ventilar por ventanas antiguas, el ruido es insoportable,no puedes descansar, el colchón es demasiado blando. Baño pequeñísimo. Hay mil alojamientos igual de económicos,no te hospedes en este....calle arriba hay mas. La luz del baño no se apagaba, lo comentamos pero no lo arreglaron.

Le sol dans la chambre est en mauvais état. C'est assez bruyant, on entend les voisins du dessus. La salle de bain mérite un peu plus de lumière, alors que dans la chambre il y en a trop pour la taille. Comparé au prix de l'hôtel à Bordeaux, c'est la nuit et le jour

I was in a room on the ground floor close to the footpath. It was noisy from people and traffic. However, I was so tired from my long haul flights that I crashed.

Lift only stops between floors so always some steps. Room in basement. Dirty and old carpet. View not of city as promised but wall with pigeon droppings on floor.. Curtain to window and back locked door hanging off curtain rails. Wooden floor filthy. I dropped some water and wiped it. The cloth was covered in heavy dirt. TV didn't work, receptionist tried to mend but it turned of 10 minutes after he left. I want it working when I arrive. In any case no BBC channels as they don't have a licence, no channels like Sky or Netflix unless you have your own account. Bathroom more modern than room but no plug because some people don't know how to use it and one flooded ( surely it's because he left the tap running? Room really small with bed against one wall. Receptionist did his best, every time I passed he was dealing with another person's problem

The elevator/lift did not go to the 4th floor which I was on. I chose that hotel because they advertised an elevator/lift but did not specify that the elevator/lift didn’t go to the 4th floor it only went to the 3rd then I had to carry my luggage at that point. Not good!!

Room was quite small so didnt have muchc room but again, dodnt spend much time in the hotel so wasnt an issue for us.

Reviewed Sep 5, 2026There was no breakfast included but overall experience was excellent. All rooms were clean and the most important thing is location. It's nearby St Pancras station. Buses are available. So many restaurants and cafes available around it for breakfast and lunch or dinner.
There don't have their own parking lot available but drop off on street available.

Strong smell of stagnant water carpets dirty tiles in bathroom floor are dangerous broken and no grout so to water is damaging floors and woodwork. The smell is awful and worse in the morning in bathroom area.
