The jewel in its crown - location, location, location. Surrounded by good quality cafes, restaurants and bars. Close to key tourist attractions - the Royal Palace, the National Museum, Wat Phnom, etc. and all at a good competitive price.

Location is excellent in the city centre shops, restaurants, night markets, food and stall markets on the weekends, river cruise, so much things to see and do. Rooms are big, clean, staff are very helpful and friendly with excellent services no issues or problems. I would like to thank Kagna the general manager of the hotel as she give me some advice on what tours to do, which local street foods and restaurants to try out and other things as well. Kagna was very helpful. Thank you.

The location is excellent and walking distance from many points of interest! Our room was clean and had a balcony and staff were very responsive to any needs that we had.

We wanted another blanket and were told that there would be a $10 charge. We had staff coordinate the booking of our bus to another city, and ultimately the bus arrived at 7:30am instead of between 6-6:30am. We had been asked to check out of our room in the morning in preparation for the early pick-up, but we would have preferred to have been able to stay in our room until our transportation actually arrived.

We were overwhelmed by the space offered in our room (suite), the facilities and the comfort. Staff was very friendly and forthcoming. We enjoyed the rooms with their interior, the cleanliness and comfort.

There was not enough time for us to take full advantage of the great place.

深夜は受付が寝ているので起こす必要がある。深夜戻り時スムーズに部屋に戻る事が出来ない場合があるので、パスワード制の扉等を用意したほうが良いと思う。

This apartment is in a fantastic location and the pictures are a 100% accurate representation of the space. The standout feature is definitely the large balcony; the view is absolutely stunning.

It is on the higher end of the price spectrum, but the quality and scenery make it a strong contender if it fits your budget.

I liked how it was right on the river. I liked how clean it was. I like the balcony.

I can’t say anything bad about this place. I had a wonderful experience.

Staff worked with me and they were quick to resolve issue I had with the room AC unit.

Maybe the AC unit could have been check prior to my stay.

A little bit of street noise

The staff were very welcoming and friendly and the room comfortable and clean.

The lift had a mind of its own, the door would start to close, then open for no reason. It was a bit noisy during the night, 'although to be fair it was on the river front'.

Perfect location and the staff are amazing

The biggest advantage of this hotel is its excellent location. It is within walking distance of the riverside, Royal Palace, National Museum, and the local wet market. We stayed in the Riverside Loft, which was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The view over the Tonle Sap River and the weekend walking street below was excellent and added to the overall experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. They assisted us with booking the Kanika boat trip and also arranged our taxi back to Siem Reap. Grab deliveries are allowed at the hotel, and there are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, making it very convenient. The room was well equipped with a microwave, kettle, coffee maker, and coffee/tea sachets with creamer and sugar. The hotel also provides basic toiletries. On weekends, the road below is converted into a walking street, so it can get a bit noisy. However, we did not find it disruptive to our sleep. In fact, it was quite convenient to simply walk downstairs and explore the market stalls and shops set up along the street.

The friendliness and professionalism of the staff impressed me very positively. The hotel is very conveniently located; many things are within walking distance. For the price, the hotel is very well equipped.

The hotel does not offer breakfast. However, you can get it at a reasonable price at the Lucky Corner Restaurant (20 meters away).

All was perfect

Very friendly and helpful staff. Large room, soft and comfortable bed and pillow pillows amazing shower, but don’t turn the water pressure too high or you might run low on hot. It was a fantastic stay centrally, located on the riverfront.

Easy to find? Nice veranda and view ask for Riverview. It’s very nice!

The noise level/soundproofing is fine IF you're staying weekdays. On Friday night, the nearby club noise was notably louder.

Great Location on the Riverside! Spacious Rooms and nice view from the balcony. Fast Internet and big TV.

Big room, good shower, great bed, great location, staff always on hand to help out, right across from excellent place for breakfast and right across from the river, balcony to sit out, great aircon and wifi worked fine. No frills but that's a good thing !

You're right on the busy road along the river, and though it wasn't bad, the soundproofing wasnt perfect. However, at nigfht you needed the air con on, and with that, you barely heard the traffic.

Great location and staff was so kind and helpful.

Bed was a bit too firm for me, but my wife found it perfect.

Excellent location. Superb riverside views. Hotel guidance on local guides and highlights very good. Clean and exactly as described.

The property was fine for us and we would stay here again; because we had riverside views, the main strip is noisy in the evening until approximately midnight. If you a sensitive sleeper - book a back room 😉.

we were giong to stay 4 nights however, the building works, namely the jackhammering starting at 0700 and going all day decided to move. I did not recieve a refund, however, we did have our bar tab credited..

I actually like the view most.

Tao is a great small boutique hotel (11 rooms) with the best location along the riverside. The Penthouse suite was a wonderful room with fabulous views from its balcony. The front desk team provided support and services throughout my stay that made me feel like a VIP. They helped us with transport, tours and dining reservations offering great recommendations. We also enjoyed having the La Croisette restaurant right across the street for many of our meals. If you stay over the weekend, you will have the riverside night market right at your door for great access to all the food and fun. Best of all, you get all this for a great room rate making it one of the best values around.

Easy location for most tourist destinations. The room was lovely and clean. Plenty of space. Large shower. Great sized fridge and very large bed. Free water every time they cleaned the room.

Little things- just a little unfinished eg. The hooks in the bathroom were wobbly.....

No fault of the hotel but the taxi driver to Battambang was driving a little scarily. I have provided feedback to the hotel so it may not be a problem in the future.

Walking distance to a lot, large rooms

The property was great. Only concern/problem we had is that our driver that we arranged through the hotel to take us to Sihanoukville kept falling asleep at the wheel. It was the most terrifying drive of my life.

Best hotel in the world! I love Tao so much. I've stayed there three times now in three months. The staff are awesome and treat you like a part of the family. The Owner is very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are magnificent, so large, with great views and everything you could ask for. I personally advise staying in the Penthouse, really great room and view. I love it at Tao

The location is perfect for being right on the river. And also the nightlife many restaurants right around there and the staff was super nice and super accommodating and 24 hours felt totally safe. they upgraded me when they had an extra room.

The only real negatives are no fitness center and no swimming pool. But the views were great.
