Schöner rooftop Pool mit Aussicht auf die Berge, guter Wellnessbereich, leckeres Essen, Verpflegung mit der HP insgesamt sehr gut, auch das Mittagsangebot. Sportmassage durch Goran nach dem Steinbocklauf war überragend!

Für mich persönlich etwas viel zum selbst holen am Buffet beim Abendmenü. Sich im Hotel mit den Aufzügen zurechtzufinden. Zu viele Stilmixe über das ganze Hotel hinweg in den verschiedenen Bereichen

Top Lage, wir nutzten vom Wellnessbereich nur den Dachpool weil es zu warm für das weitere Angebot war. Der Poolbereich war sehr schön. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Essen war vielfältig.

Keine Klimaanlage, im Zimmer war es sehr warm. Das Fenster konnten wir nachts nicht öffnen, da es sehr laut war (Zimmer zur Hauptstraße)

Rooftop-Pool war manchmal sehr voll. Lautstärke im Indoorpool teilweise sehr laut. Aber das ist nur Ningel auf hohen Niveau, kann auch aufgrund der Sommersaison und der zahlreichen Gäste liegen.

Fabulous friendly staff and the superior family room was so spacious, with a bathroom each and spotlessly clean. We chose half board and the food was lovely, with a great selection. It was nice that you had a different set menu each evening rather than just a buffet. Location is also excellent, only 2 mins walk from the station and close to shops the cable cars etc. Lots also to do in the hotel itself, with swimming, gym, games room, pool table and lots of board games in the bar area, our daughter loved it. We would definitely go back!

It was hard to fault, the only thing we would have liked was a fan in the room, we were there during the summer heatwave and it was very hot!

Amazing hotel! We loved everything about it. A very short walk from the train station, the hotel is extremely charming and the service was fabulous. The room was very nice and we booked a room with a balcony that had an incredible view. We enjoyed sitting out there with a glass of wine before dinner. There was no air conditioning in the room, but that seems very common for this area of Austria and we kept the door and window open and the room cooled off nicely. We didn’t use the pool but the pool area was very pretty! The breakfast was very good with a lot of options. We rented e-bikes from the hotel and got a great deal as hotel guests. The highlight was having dinner in the wine cellar. We saw it as an option on the website and were able to book it for the exact day and time we wanted. It was an incredibly unique experience to have a private dinner in a wine cellar and the service was great. Would highly recommend this hotel!

Die Zimmer haben keine Klimaanlage.

Rooftop Pool einfach schön, aber zu wenige Liegen. Essensbereich sehr nett gestaltet. Küche sehr gut aber mit Abstrichen beim Grill, hier war das Fleisch zu durch, obwohl vom Chef gegrillt. Sehr schöne zentrale Lage, auch zum Bahnhof und Buscenter.

Es fehlt die Klimanlage. Wir hatten Glück ein Eckzimmer mit 3 Fenstern zu haben, so konnten wir durchlüften. Im ganzen neuen Trakt war es aber zu heiß. Architektenfehler? Unser Zimmer war nicht mit Fahrstuhl erreichbar. Also mindestens 1 Stock Koffer schleppen obwohl Neubau.

Excellent location. Immaculately presented hotel, with excellent staff who do their utmost to be attentive and helpful no matter what. Food and wine (impressive selection which can be chosen via an pad to suit) were of the highest quality. Highly recommend.

Due to the exceptionally high temperatures, AC would be beneficial and due to having to leave the balcony door open, there was some occassional .street noise. All relatively minor in reality.

Fantastic. Amazing room spotlessly clean as was the rest of the hotel. Roof top pool and spa incredible, staff could not be more helpful. Food amazing from the breakfast, the lunch and dinner. Cannot recommend highly enough. Will definitely be returning.

The roof top pool is beautiful and so lovely for a relaxing dip after a day skiing. The breakfast is superb, excellent variety of everything you could want. Location excellent, Ski room well organised with each room having their own locker.

Nothing really, it is a bit spread out, if you are across the road like me it was a journey to the pool and gym. A minor complaint.

The owner Willie Pfister has an incredible and infectious passion for his hotel, his wine collection as a 17 year Somalia along with his rustic and ancient wine cellar with real bricks from many centuries ago. Die Lage ist sehr gut, Frühstück ausgezeichnet, spa Bereich und Dachpool sind sehr schön.

Das Zimmer war sehr alt, Möbel durchgesessen, Vorhange alt und ging nicht zu, dass alles von der Stasse gesehen wird. Die Glässer wurden alle 5 schmutzig stehen gelassen und nicht gewechselt, keine Kühlschrank mit minibar, kein Wasserkocher. Die Toillette - eine Katastrophe, ohne Lüftung und gleich sehr schlecht gerochen, auch sehr alt - die Toilettendeckel gingen nicht von alleine zu und fielen mit einem lauten Knall herunter. Sowas schon lange nicht gesehen. Also Hotel schön von außen, von innen unseres Zimmer war nicht mal 2 Sterne Hostel.

Neue Post is both sophisticated and relaxed. Wonderful facilities include the spa and rooftop pool. Location is perfect for parking or the train station with fantastic views. The kitchen is amazing, we really enjoyed our food and choices of local wines. Well appointed comfortable and quiet room. Great friendly service and warm atmosphere - you see the owner around and know everyone cares.

קיבלנו חדר מהמם עם יציאה למרפסת גג, בהמשך עברנו לחדר משפחתי מעוצב ויפהפה. היחס של הצוות מתחשב ואכפתי, אני רוצה לציין במיוחד את סלינה מהקבלה שעשתה מעל ומעבר עבורנו, לנוכח סיטואציה מורכבת של הזמנות מרובות ושינויים. כל צוות המסעדה פשוט מקסימים, וטיפלו בנו במסירות, הביאו לנו מנות צמחוניות שבכלל לא מופיעות בתפריט, כל מה ששאלנו מייד נענה בשמחה וברצון. זה משנה את כל הביקור. המתקנים של המלון מעולים, הכל נקי ומצוחצח. מומלץ ביותר!

Beautiful traditional Tyrolian decor with preservation of classic features. Comfortable spacious room. Magical rooftop pool with surrounding views of the mountains. Excellent breakfasts and well equipped boot room for ski equipment.

Such a beautiful place, we’ve stayed in two other hotels in Mayrhofen but Neue Post is our favourite. The hotel is very modern and upmarket, rooms are immaculately clean and food is superb. The spa is an absolute highlight with drinks at the rooftop pool. (When we tried another hotel we actually paid to use the Neue Post Spa because it was warmer than the outdoor pool we had elsewhere). Our only critique is that my husband would really have loved a burger or schnitzel on the menu as he enjoys the simpler things but we didn’t actually ask for this option so it may well have been granted had we have asked.

The hotel was absolutely wonderful! We especially enjoyed our suite right by the pool — beautifully designed, spacious, and extremely comfortable. The kids stayed in a fantastic family suite and loved it as well. The food was excellent, and the service was outstanding. Although it’s a bit far from the Penkenbahn lift, there’s a ski bus stop conveniently located right outside the hotel entrance. The ski room is perfect — very comfortable and conveniently located right on the main street, with easy-to-use lockers that make everything simple and organized.

The hotel is close to the station and ski buses in Mayrhofen. It is a well established hotel, which synergises tradition with modernity and the establishment is in superb condition throughout. Rooftop pool is fantastic and is heated! A fully comprehensive breakfast buffet is provided. Rooms are very plush as are the communal areas.

Prices for a late checkout of a booked room or suite are very expensive, although baggage storage and use of changing room in pool area are offered as a complimentary alternative if one wishes to ski / board on their day of departure.

We've stayed at the hotel for 4 nights as a family with a kid and a baby. We came very late at night due to some delays, they communicated with me that they would leave us food in the room so we wouldn't go to sleep on an empty stomach with is a nice gesture, also at 01:30 a.m someone was there to help us with the luggage even though they are not operating at this time at night super from their side. The hotel has parking lot near by, the room was specious and we had the baby crib we requested in advance, the breakfast was superb many choices so even our little picky kid found what to eat. We ate both at the hotel dinner and at the al la cart restaurant with friends both were great! We used the indoor pool on the -1, the kids room, and the open heated pool on level 3, everything was perfect. Ski room is spacious and has heating both for boots and gloves which is nice, although I don't know what happens if both kids and parents are skiing there won't be enough room for all. (but that wasn't our situation) would definitely come again, one my best stays in a long time, the biggest thing is how helpful and attentive the hotel staff, without a dough they keep everything to a very high standard!

I really enjoyed my stay in the very town center of Mayrhofen. The staff was extremely help and welcoming, I arrived late and check-in was quick and easy. I loved the atmosphere in the hotel and my rooms was very clean and had a great view from the balcony. In the room there is everything that is needed, there was no noise from outside. The wellness center and swimming pool on the roof are amazing. This hotel is really great value for money. I'll definitely be back.

The hotel was neat and clean, and we thoroughly enjoyed the food, wellness facilities and pool. Special thanks to the attentive and caring waiters. Willy was very helpful and quick to answer all of our questions in advance. With only a 12-minute walk to the ski lift, where our skis were stored, it made for a pleasant walk both in the morning and in the evening.

I stayed at this hotel with friends for a short ski-ing trip and it was wonderful. We booked 2 "suite" rooms, each had a small seating space for us to socialise as a group of 4 - the one in the Pool Suite was especially good for this. This room also had a sliding door to close between the bedroom and the living area which included a wide sofa which can also be used as a bed (bedding provided). We did not hear a single noise from other guests the entire stay, despite our room being directly opposite the door entrance to the rooftop pool (not direct access to the pool, but just a few steps over the corridor). The bathroom was huge and modern, robes and slippers provided and the room included a coffee pod machine and fridge. We came for the ski-ing and the food! First the ski-ing: super convenient location, either a short walk (up hill) to the main Penken gondola, or the ski bus which stops directly outside the hotel and takes 3 mins. The terrain was lovely and very easy to navigate - would recommend for families with children as it's not easy for small ones to take wrong turns or accidentally end up on tricky runs. We did use the bus to the glacier for a day which is included in the lift pass and well worth it, if you are a competent skier/boarder you will cover the whole of the main Mayrhofen terrain in 2 days otherwise. Hotel provides a heated locker for your equipment. And the food - fabulous. You are assigned a table in the restaurant area for everyday's breakfast and dinner. Breakfast is 100% self serve from an extensive buffet and dinner is a mix of self-serve from a salad bar/hot-serve area and some courses are chosen from a short menu and served at the table. Each evening there was a meat, fish and veggie choice plus a separate vegan and separate child menu. The wine list in the printed menu is short... but just ask for the Wine-Pad which has hundreds of choices! Between 2.30-4.30 the buffet area is open for salads, breads and cakes. We sadly only used it on our arrival day because of never being back before 5 on ski days - but it would be a brilliant service if you are doing shorter days. The pools were gorgeous. 3rd floor outdoor pool with a lovely shower/changing/seating area attached and a drinks service to the pool! Views of the mountains, heaven. Basement level indoor pool with bubble areas, family (clothed) sauna, heated loungers and a large relax/quiet space with big curtained double-bed cabins and an infra red sauna. Also a separate set of naked saunas for adults. So much better than I had expected from the hotel pictures! And a fast lift connects the 2 pools so you dont have to wander around reception in your robe. Service was efficient and friendly at all points. The whole experience was easy, relaxing, indulgent.. just everything you would want from a short break away from the kids and work! Hotel is at the bottom of the main road/hill along which there are tonnes of shops and bars, but away from the potentially noisier part right by the Penken lift. Seems like people have a few beers at the top of the hill about 4pm and then ride the last gondola down at 5, and maybe there's a lot of partying then, but it was all very peaceful (maybe even a little too quiet) down our end of the village. The old buildings are beautiful - yes there is a church whose bells ring but I never heard it from inside the room! It will be hard to beat this trip and the only reason we're not immediately re-booking is the appeal of trying different ski terrains. We may yet decide the hotel was so good it's worth it! Wir sind sehr dankbar für den hervorragenden Service und den wunderbaren Aufenthalt. Unser Zimmer war wunderschön, sehr sauber und stilvoll eingerichtet. Der direkte Zugang zum Außenpool war ein echtes Highlight. Die Betten und Kissen waren außergewöhnlich bequem, und es war angenehm warm im Zimmer. Das Personal war jederzeit freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Ein besonderer Dank gilt der Familie, die dieses Hotel mit viel Herz und einer spürbaren Liebe zum Detail führt. Die Geschichte des Hauses hat uns sehr beeindruckt. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet: ein reichhaltiges Buffet mit großer Auswahl sowie zusätzliche Gerichte für jeden Geschmack. Ein großes Kompliment an das Küchenteam. Sehr praktisch ist der regelmäßige Shuttle-Service zum Skilift, der alle 15 Minuten fährt. Außerdem gibt es einen Skiraum mit beheizten, abschließbaren Schränken für jedes Zimmer. Der Wellnessbereich mit Saunen und Innenpool ist hervorragend. Besonders gefreut haben wir uns auch über den Spielraum für Kinder sowie den Billardtisch. Es stehen Parkplätze zur Verfügung, außerdem gibt es eine Ladestation für Elektroautos. Für uns ist klar: Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Ein Hotel auf höchstem Niveau, das unserer Meinung nach fünf Sterne verdient.

Hotel Neue post has become our second home in Mayrhofen - the family run hotel is more than just a hotel, it’s a warm place full of friendship, fun, food and wellness experiences… and if you like me are into wine, this place is heaven!
