The choice & quality of what was available at breakfast surpassed anywhere I've stayed before & the food was hot, complimented with a very good choice of coffee available at no extra charge. I loved the outdoor pool on the 5th floor. It was never very busy & the weather was good enough to enjoy it. Although my room overlooked a main road, there was no traffic noise. Overall, I really liked this hotel & would recommend it to anyone wishing to visit Shenzhen.

It wasn't much of a big deal but, despite arriving later than I anticipated, my room wasn't ready. As a gesture of goodwill, I was offered an upgrade but still had to wait while this was prepared. No 'Bloody Mary' cocktails available & the complimentary nuts, served in the bars, were ruined with certain ingredients to spice things up. I didn't see an ATM in the hotel, although there is one in a nearby bank, but not 24 hour access

Very nice and a great location, we planned to stay for four days but extended to eight, very good and the rooms are nice, make sure you visit their buffet for dinner it was incredible, the staff were also amazing throughout the whole hotel.

If I order a room for 2 adults and 2 kids, I expect to have a bed for the kids. At least a sofa bed.

The facilities, swimming pool indoor and outdoor, and the gym were fine.

Breakfast time is not managed efficently even in not rush Hours. I waited for a cappuccino more than 20 minutes and no one of the staff was able to speak in english. We were in China, a lot of turists were there and Langham is an international group. They have to assure high standard levels everywhere. Hong Kong is better. The hotel need a renewal. The rooms are “old style” furnished but very clean.

Die Flure und das Zimmer rochen teilweise leider etwas modrig und man merkte dem Zimmer manchmal schon das alter etwas an, aber was uns schon gestört hat, war dass uns nie mitgeteilt wurde, dass es kein Frühstück in der Executive Lounge gibt, sonder man dieses ganz normal unten mit allen anderen Gästen (inkl. Wartezeit und Lärm) zu sich nehmen muss. Auch nicht beim Check-In, obwohl dies auf Nachfrage schon längere Zeit so ist, dass die Lounge erst ab 12:00 Uhr öffnet. Das war schon etwas ärgerlich, denn wenn wir das gewusst hätten, hätten wir vielleicht nicht mal das Zimmer mit Executive Lounge Zugang gebucht, denn der Afternoon Tea und die Happy Hour waren zwar ganz nett, wir hätten sie aber nicht gebraucht.

Дружелюбный персонал по всему отелю. Понравилась сауна и крытый бассейн, а в открытом бассейне вода была холодная. Идеальная уборка каждый день, хороший недорогой завтрак. Обязательно буду рекомендовать этот отель.

Wonderful mid week mini break in a relaxing environment. Particularly enjoyed the Club experience where the staff were really helpful and pleasant. Thanks to Peter Zhang and his colleagues. One minor suggestion - access to Netflix etc in room would be appreciated

Great hotel: we had a wonderful stay in Shenzhen at the Longham. The hotel was well-located, the room was clean and spacious, and the staff—especially Dean and Madix from the concierge team, whom we frequently relied on for online orders—were highly professional, respectful, and helpful. I recommend it 100%!

Das Gegenteil vom positiven Kommentar, ist leider bei der Reception der Fall. Sehr Steif und zurückhaltend, keine Nachfrage oder Herzlichkeit, das ist Schade. Das Hotel selbst entspricht vollkommen den Vorstellungen.

The room was spacious. I enjoyed using the swimming pool and the gym. Breakfast selection was extensive. Joe at breakfast and Lam at the fitness centre were excellent in their solicitude and help. The lounge was excellent, the evening food and drinks selection were fantastic.

It was a quick trip, the hotel is well located and well maintained. Although not used, Health Club had good equipment and the pool was amazing. If you get a massage voucher make sure you book in early, I missed it as I tried in the last minute after came back from a meeting.

Hotel has floral pleasant smell, staffs are extremely professional and helpful. Hotel attached with a new mall you can easily get everything you need.

The most fantastic service and all the staff were so helpful. From the fresh rose when you check in to the cleaning staff taking care of every tiny detail - we were so impressed. The rooms were quiet and the bed was so comfortable. We did not have the breakfast so we can’t comment on the food at the hotel.

The carpets in the hallway and in the rooms have a damp smell. It would be good if they could address the smell.

We had a wonderful stay at Langham hotel. The location is excellent short walk of Chengongmiao Station (exit D is outside of the hotel). Next to EP Mall with plenty of options for dining and shopping. The hotel is elegant, the rooms very comfortable and super clean and the staff very friendly and professional. At the reception you can rent AI translators or translator.

As a family of four, we found the hotel breakfast a little expensive, so we decided to enjoy breakfast at the many nearby cafes instead or the different cafes at various malls. But that is our personal opinion.

I had an absolutely exceptional stay at The Langham, Shenzhen. From the moment I arrived, I was deeply impressed by the warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail of the entire team. I stayed for four nights and was kindly upgraded to a beautiful room, which made the experience even more memorable. The club lounge was one of the highlights of my stay. The atmosphere was elegant and relaxing, and the service was truly outstanding. Phoebe from the lounge, in particular, provided exceptional service. She warmly introduced all the lounge options, showed me the bar and wine selection, made sure I was comfortable, and took the time to chat with me in such a friendly and genuine way. She even gave me helpful local tips for nail polish and lash extension stores, which I really appreciated. Her kindness and attentiveness made me feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. Phoebe’s colleagues Gina and Via were also wonderful. They were friendly, professional, and attentive throughout my stay, and together they created a very pleasant and personalized lounge experience. The dining experience was also excellent. The restaurant Tang Ge was truly exceptional. I stayed four nights and enjoyed dining there twice because the food, service, and overall experience were so impressive. Overall, my stay at The Langham, Shenzhen was extremely pleasant and memorable. The upgraded room, wonderful club lounge, exceptional restaurant, and especially the outstanding service from the lounge team made this one of my best hotel experiences. I would highly recommend this hotel and would be very happy to return.

Incredible hotel and service! Like most five-star properties, the rooms at The Langham, Shenzhen are clean and spacious, and the amenities are excellent. However, what truly sets this hotel apart is its exceptional hospitality. Upon arrival, the staff was kind enough to upgrade us to a Club room, giving us access to the Club Lounge benefits, including a fantastic free afternoon tea. Additionally, we had a large number of packages shipped to the hotel prior to and during our stay, and the concierge desk handled all of them with absolute professionalism and a smile. The standout moment of our trip happened during dinner. We had a $100 property credit from booking through the Chase Travel portal and planned to use it at Silk, the buffet restaurant on the second floor. When we asked about the price, the restaurant quoted us a local discounted rate. However, to utilize our Chase credit, we were told we had to charge the buffet to our room at the standard full price—which was nearly double the discount! We brought this up to the waitstaff, and the gentleman in the grey suit who had checked us in at the Club Lounge actually came down to the restaurant to personally sort out the entire situation for us. I seriously cannot praise this hotel and its staff enough. If you are looking for a relaxing, luxurious stay in Shenzhen with a team that truly cares about the guest experience, The Langham is worth every penny.

We loved this place so much, we came back a second time. Great customer service and the staff spoke English and communication was easy. Breakfast was delicious and the afternoon tea in the clubhouse was very good. Hotel is very clean and always smells so nice. A common complaint among many hotels in china is the smell of cigarettes in the hotel rooms and from neighboring rooms via the air vents, but this hotel did not have that problem. It is the main reason we came back again to this hotel on our second visit. The housekeeping goes above and beyond their duty. They were very meticulous and even organized our charging cables with little ties.

I am extremely unhappy with my recent experience at the Club Lounge. We had to actively seek service; no refills were offered, and the sparkling wine was served at room temperature. The staff was clearly run off their feet attending to one large table. While I understand that busy periods happen, the hotel should have been better prepared. Part of the Club Lounge experience is being able to enjoy a cocktail and relax, but that simply wasn’t possible. We ultimately ended up leaving and going elsewhere for dinner. Overall, it was very disappointing. What made matters worse was that I took the time to write to the hotel to formally complain about the issues, but my message was never even acknowledged. The lack of response only added to my frustration. I cannot recommend the Club Lounge based on this experience.

We arrived at 4.pm, check in is normally 3pm and room wasn’t ready. Very weird smell and super humid in the room, so much so the bedsheets felt humid. Room decoration very outdated. Staff doesn’t speak English at all. For an international chain it is really a let down

My friend and I booked an 8 night stay to celebrate our big birthday's together, as a treat. We stayed in a King Superior Suite, with access to the Executive lounge. From the time of check in with Cynthia (who is a true asset to the hotel. Her attentiveness, kindness and professionalism is what truly stood out as the shining feature of the hotel). The hotel, rooms, swimming pool and fitness centre are beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean and every staff member is trained to meet the high standards of the hotel. Thank you for making our time in Shenzhen so amazing!

The rooms were nice and clean

If you agree to let customers have a late check out, make sure they continue to have access to the room until the agreed time. Whilst I arrived back to the hotel with at least 20-30min before the late check out time, I could still go up the lift but not my room. It’s then a long walk back to the lobby. Worse, after the reception said they sorted my card, I went back up but still couldn’t access my room.

The hotel is really great, it’s my second time in Langham and I plan to come back again, feels like home, comfortable and stylish 👌 the flower signature scent is amazing

The Langham ranks as one of our top hotel stays in all our travels. Location is excellent, close to everywhere you want to go, as it is connected to a mall. What stood out the most was the Langham's pure service and hospitality. Outstanding. It was a birthday trip for my wife, so we had flowers strewn across the bed. Porter services were excellent, ferrying our bags and golf equipment promptly. Cheerful staff, helpful whenever we needed a hand, and even helped to sort and deliver our Taobao parcels to our room. Given an unlimited budget, I'd live here.

I honestly can't think of anything else but the smell of fresh flowers as you enter the hotel. It's an experiance. It's probably the best hotel I have ever stayed in and the staff were absolutely amazing. Can't recommend it high enough.

There is nothing to not like. Maybe the bar/restarurant closes a bit too early, but that's just me working too much and eating too late. Everything was great and anyone staying in the hotel will undoubtetly have a great time.

My stay at the Langham was exceptional. This property is one of my favourite hotels in China and if I ever find myself in Shenzhen again I will be sure to rebook this location. When I was conducting research on the hotel one of my primary concerns was the location but upon reflection I think that the location is absolutely fine. The property was very clean and the staff were helpful.

The only negative I found with The Langham is that despite being a hotel with its roots in England the staff spoke very little/no English. This was a surprise for such a business centred city like Shenzhen and did complicate any interface that i had with reception - one example being that I was offered a cake upon checking which i was surprised about as i never asked for it - but i graciously accepted the kind good will gesture and asked that it would be sent to my room - it never arrived. Nevertheless this is a great hotel which I would love to stay at again

During my stay at the Langham in Shenzhen, I witnessed an extremely aggressive male guest scream at two female customers who were simply taking selfies, then proceed to shout at staff, snatch items, and push furniture. The entire scene was deeply anxiety-provoking and awkward, creating a hostile environment for everyone present. Shockingly, no staff member or manager was dispatched to support the employees or de-escalate the situation, leaving the staff to cope alone. As a result, the rest of us customers were forced to tolerate this individual’s toxic, aggressive, and frankly dangerous behavior without any intervention. I am appalled by the hotel’s failure to ensure basic safety and duty of care for both its guests and its employees. We used this as a trip to secure a safe place for our family to come back to on a regular basis and unfortunately.. or fortunately we quickly found that this is not a safe place for our children or for us. We do not recommend women to come here alone.

Our first “upgraded room” smelled musty, so we requested a different room, and the hotel staff graciously obliged. But on the second evening, the musty smell returned to the new room, and it got stronger the last day, before our checkout. Seems like it’s either a plumbing issue or a ventilation issue. It was great value for money, but they need to fix the source of the smell. Also, we went to the hotel bar at 12:40am, hoping to have a drink after we were told that the bar closes at 1:30am. It was already closed, so kinda disappointing. And there are way too many switches to room lights and it was v confusing.

Mold in room by AC which made me cough and have sleep issues everyday at this hotel. When found, the reception moved me to a suite, which was of course way better.

Lack of English speaking staff and very young inexperienced staff that do not understand how to deliver The Langham Service. Also Executive Club Lounge is a Joke should be named The Beach Lounge and the food in there has been the same for many months and often served cold and again by inexperienced staff.

Overall we had a great stay. At check-in there was a problem with my credit card and the reception staff were very understanding. We were allocated a suite which was really nice. Food was good, staff were efficient. Only downside was a poor experience in the Spa.
