L'hôtel est très bien situé, en face la gare pour aller à Myrdal et Bergen et le port pour faire la croisière sur le fjord. Le petit déjeuner est très copieux. La chambre avec le balcon a une vue magnifique qui s'ouvre sur le port et les montagnes.

Es gab nur Filterkaffe zum Frühstück. Der Weg zum Parkplatz war lang, was besonders bei Schlechtwetter ein Problem ist.

The location is excellent, just steps away from the train station. However, the hotel has unfortunately lost much of its fjord view due to the giant cruise ship dock and other facilities that have been built in between.

The property is way overhyped and does not deserve its high ratings. We stayed in two rooms one in the historic section and one in the newer section and felt genuinely misled by the reviews and expectations they created. The property is old, run-down, and in need of a major refresh. I love historic hotels, but this did not feel like a grand historic hotel; the historic section in particular did not justify the premium price. Do not pay extra to stay in the historic section. Set your expectations closer to a Motel 6 than a grand historic hotel, and you may be less disappointed. Based on our experience with both the historic and newer sections, this property is simply not worth the high rating or the premium prices it commands.

Great location in the fjords. Perfect view from the room balcony.

Bed was uncomfortable, very thin threadbare towels, no sense of luxury for the overinflated price of a room. Not even nice coffee or biscuits in the room.

An excellent stay. Location was perfect, right next to the train station and close to all the main activities in town. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast spread was excellent. Dinner at the hotel was also one of the best meals we've had during our trip.

Great heritage property and the location is absolutely great. Right next to the cruise landings, the train station and the very small central Flam area.

We had the Family Room coz there were no other rooms available at that point. We paid an extremely steep price for it - and for the cost, the rooms didn’t seem as well maintained. The sofas looked worn out. And considering how much we paid, we wish we had got a room with a better view. Breakfast was good as was the buffet dinner which we tried. It’s a standard buffet, nothing great. But we got to try some local specialties including the seafood and reindeer ham.

La colazione aveva scelta limitata di cose da mangiare e comunque le mie aspettative erano moto più alte considerando quanto pagato.

Beautiful location. Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable lobby. Wonderful breakfast! Balcony rooms have a lovely view of the harbour - ask for one of these if that's important. Our garden room at the back of the hotel had a view of a grass bank.

Our room decor was a bit tired. Plug drained very slowly.

L’hôtel est très propre et les prestations sont standards. Le personnel est très serviable. Le petit déjeuner est très copieux et varié. Les chambres sont de taille satisfaisantes. L’emplacement est très pratique pour effectuer les croisières sur le fjord

Attention, les chambres avec vue sur la montagne donnent en fait sur une arrière-cour. Le stationnement est payant, il faut aller sur un parking public à côté de l’hôtel. Les clients de l’hôtel bénéficient de tarifs préférentiels mais cela reste un coût imprévu. Pas de télé, ni de frigo dans les chambres.

It’s quite far from a four star by American standards and I guess I was expecting it to be a little closer to that. The beds were very soft and sagged in. There was no phone if you needed to call the front desk. I was very happy though about the ability to easily get Netflix.

I think they need to replace their beds.

The location was great. Other than that there is nothing I could approve of the hotel. Its rating is highly inflated.

The bed in the room was very small in size and uncomfortable. The mattress needs an urgent upgrade. The bathroom was not adequate. In particular it was quite easy to slip in the tub

Bit expensive

Location and view to the harbor is amazing. There was a lot of variety at breakfast. We also had drinks in the afternoon and the bartenders were super friendly. The staff overall were lovely. We had to book two different reservations and unfortunately had to switch rooms in the middle of the stay, they were very accommodating in ensuring that our second room was ready immediately so we didn't have any delays between rooms.

Cheguei ao hotel pela rota panorâmica. Avistei o logo do hotel e o estacionamento e estacionei. No entanto do estacionamento não há nenhuma indicação da entrada/recepcao e fiquei rodando com duas malas grandes até que um hospede me ajudou a chegar à entrada. Sugiro que seja colocada uma placa indicativa de recepção para quem chega pelo estacionamento

The location was fantastic, could not have been better. The setting and hotel were gorgeous. The breakfast was great, and the hotel restaurant may have had the best salmon we have ever eaten.

There were clearly many tour groups staying at the hotel, which was sometimes loud and overwhelming, especially when they were all getting on/off the bus.

Super expensive for a very aged hotel. Peeling paint, old fashioned hair dryers, tiny scratchy towels etc. Would be ok for an A$300 hotel, not the A$850pn I paid!

Such a wonderful setting and location right in the heart of Flam. It’s a mixture of old world and modern but we didn’t spend much time in the room because of all the stunning scenery. No tv in some of the old rooms and they could use a bit of a refresh but the main hotel and food and staff were excellent!

Could be an amazing hotel with a bit of investment in upgrading older rooms.

The room service and amenities fall below expectations for a hotel in this price range. There is no air conditioning or even a basic fan, which can make the room uncomfortable during warmer periods. Additionally, the absence of a telephone for direct communication with reception is inconvenient, along with the lack of several essential services typically expected in a hotel of this standard. These shortcomings detract from what could otherwise be an outstanding stay.

Most people stay 1 night - don’t you won’t regret it When there are no cruise ships and everyone has left for the day - Flam is one of the most peaceful towns - the hotel is one of the very very few in town and has everything you could ever need

La ubicación era muy buena, pero considerando que Flam es un pueblo minúsculo, francamente cualquier ubicación allí sería buena.

Un hotel muy mal mantenido, descuidado, sucio, habitaciones deprimentes, los baños eran de categoría de hotel 2 estrellas. El personal no era nada amable. El precio es un absoluto despropósito para la calidad del hotel, se aprovechan de la poca oferta que hay. Es un hotel de calidad 2 estrellas a precio de 5 estrellas. No lo recomendaría jamás.

The rooms were meh to bad. Extremely uncomfortable beds, very bad shades (especially with summer sun). It had the feel of an economy hotel but the price of a 5 star. I'd probably choose somewhere else to stay if I were going again.

Piccoli problemi in bagno: acqua che si infiltra sotto al vetro della doccia e bagna il pavimento. Comoda illuminazione che si accende con sensore ma che si spegne durante la doccia...è un sistema per risparmiare acqua?
