Весьма скудный завтрак, если отель сетки Хилтон, можно было и побольше ассортимент предложить, яйца варёные, скрэмбл, шампиньоны, колбаски, хэш Браун, фасоль, из фруктов только ананас и неспелый арбуз, маленькие круассаны и булочка с французским кремом, хлопья, кофе, чай, апельсиновый сок и всеееее, много вопросов в связи с этим, невкусный кофе из кофемашины

By English standards, the hotel is maintained to a high standard. The rooms are clean, although the bathroom is a bit neglected. The location is excellent, close to the city center and the sea. Breakfast is good, but the same every day.

As I mentioned earlier, the bathroom wasn't cleaned thoroughly, and there were no opening windows. Although there was air conditioning, I appreciated the fresh air. The view, hmm, was of another hotel.For an additional fee you can have a view of the marine, but in my opinion it is not worth the price.

Staff was very friendly. Rooms and general hotel area was clean. Breakfast was superb with loads of options and if staying for multiple days then there is variety.

Breakfast time should go on for 1h longer, as it ends at 10am and while on holiday, would be better until 11am. Bed was not very comfortable, woke up with aches and couldn't get comfortable.

We stayed in room 58. It was next to the entrance lobby to the accommodation. From early this morning the lobby door persistently and continuously banged. It disturbed our sleep. When leaving we did mention the issue to the receptionist.

It was value for money, clean, smelled fresh Alsi near to the harbour and beach. Coulfnot

I couldnot open the window carpets need a clean as stains on them. Otherwise all was great. I would stay there again.

The lady working around the breakfast area was very kind and welcoming, and she was the only person who really made an effort to make us feel comfortable.

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with our stay. The room was not properly clean, had a very bad smell, and was extremely cold, yet reception did very little when we complained and their attitude made us feel that our concerns were not taken seriously. We expected a much better standard of cleanliness, service and hospitality.

I absolutely love returning to this hotel, and this was my third stay here. Once again, I enjoyed every minute of it! The hotel is comfortable, welcoming, and in a fantastic location. The rooms are lovely and quiet, which makes for a very relaxing stay, and the breakfast is also very good with a nice choice. One of my favourite things is the convenience of the lift — you go straight down and you’re practically in the heart of Torquay, with all the shops, restaurants and pubs right there. It makes getting around so easy. I’ve really enjoyed all three of my stays and would happily return again. Highly recommended! ❤️

The only small downside is that some rooms overlook neighbouring properties, so unfortunately not every room has a particularly nice view. You can sometimes see into neighbours’ homes, and not everyone necessarily wants that kind of view during their stay. However, this is only a small point and certainly doesn’t take away from how great the hotel itself is.

The bed pillows was way to soft amd the head board with the cushion that went all the way across wasn't the great invention as your soft pillows slid underneath it causing your pillows do disappear and made it not comfortable to sleep.

The hotel was in such a good location. The staff were lovely. The breakfast choices were brilliant.

Ou 2nd time staying here. Great location and carpark close by which is reasonable. Room was spotless. Facilities were very good, nice bar in reception ironing board and iron in the room. Breakfast had lots of choice. Loved the lift to the harbour, we missed it on our first stay.

Car parking not ideal however an umbrella is always handy. Prepared prior to arrival good to be able to drop cases early, check in if room free.

We booked two king rooms. Unfortunately, one of the rooms smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke, and we could barely sleep because of the smell. It made our stay very uncomfortable and was extremely disappointing, especially as we expected a clean, smoke-free room.

Aircon wouldn't shut off and I had a sleepless night because the fan wouldn't adjust and it was lit up next to me all night! Breakfast was a shambles. There were not enough tables and guests were sat all over the reception area eating. You had to make your own toast, waffles and porridge. All the fruit had gone by 9am. Everyone was queuing. No vegetarian options for cooked breakfast.

The Hampton by Hilton Torquay is in an excellent location. Although the hotel does not have its own parking, there is reasonably priced council parking just across the road, with convenient lift access. Long-stay parking is also available at very reasonable rates. Another great feature is the direct lift access from the hotel down to the harbour and docks, making it very easy to explore the area. The room and service were good, and breakfast was included in the price. Overall, a very comfortable and convenient stay.

What we didn’t like: For a longer stay, the housekeeping service could have been more consistent. On some days the room was not cleaned, and essentials such as tea and other supplies were not replenished. We often had to go down to reception to collect what we needed, and even had to send our son down on occasion. Considering we paid close to £195 per night, we would have expected these items to be replenished and requests delivered to the room. The staff did respond and helped on one occasion, but the overall service could be improved.

Every night there was an issue with the room temperature/AC . Still never worked despite them turning panel ‘on’ .Don’t ever stay here if you have a baby. Multiple broken cots. We were told there was a cot in our room by the manager (Nicole) when there wasn’t. We were awake till 3am with a 9month baby trying to fix a cot for baby to sleep in. We missed breakfast every single day because of the room temperatures and the cots smh. I brought all this to their attention they just ghosted.

The only problem we had was that we were looking on to a lot of old furniture and debris when we looked out of our window, room 36, apartment from that we liked everything this hotel had to offer.

The view from the room was not worth paying for. It was a partial view of the marina

My husband and I had an accessible room with wet room and plenty of space . It was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful.

Our view from the room was a wall and window of another bedroom in the hotel, which was a shame but it was o ly one night so that was ok.

Hi - we stayed at weekend - hotel, room & staff & location great - only things I'd like to point out - bathroom shower cubicle needs good bleach/deep clean for mouldy grout - not cleaners fault - they are always on tight schedule - also - we went for breakfast at 1015 - finishes at 11 - so much stuff not Available/empty and by time we left at 1045 very little left - I'm all for no food waste? But poor availability really

Im writing this on day 2 of a 3 night, 2 full day stay at this hotel. I wasn't impressed with the way the female concierge greeted me and my son when we arrived. I had no idea that Reception would be in, and shared with, the hotel bar and was confused at first, and trying to see if we'd come in the correct entrance. She made me feel like an idiot with the way she spoke to me. There were also only 2 bath towels and one hand towel in the room, and only 4 pillows for a room with a double bed and a sofa bed. I know I could call for more, but to be honest in a hotel that charges as much per night as this one does I dont feel I should have to. The pillows had ZERO support and went flat as a pancake as soon as you put your head on them. The mattress on my bed was very hard, and the mattress on the sofa bed was very uncomfortable as it was so thin, the springs were poking through. It was NOT made up, the mattress had no sheet on and the duvet had no cover and had been screwed up when the mattress was folded inside the sofa bed mechanism. Because of the above, both my son and I have had awful sleep the past 2 nights and therefore missed breakfast on our first day. Today (our 2nd day) we managed to get up in time for breakfast but had to go back to bed afterwards, and so missed the majority of the day trying to get some sleep. We're only here 3 nights and 2 full days so I feel extremely annoyed with the fact its left both of us feeling exhausted but I've felt unable to complain due to the way the woman on reception spoke to me on arrival. I have now asked a housekeeping lady for more pillows but she only brought 2 more flat as pancake pillows, so not much improvement. We've been too shattered to do anything other than go out for lunch on the first day at a local restaurant and nothing on our 2nd day. I do feel that at £143 per night, the experience I've received at Hampton by Hilton. Hotel, Torquay, is extremely poor. The ONLY positive aspects are the shower is hot and the central position of the Hotel. Unlike other reviewers, I don't have the extra funds to be able to take ourselves off to a different, better hotel. Hilton is a premium brand I always thought. I now know better and WON'T be returning to this or any other Hampton property in the future. I hope the Manager of this hotel reads this because this is my only holiday this year. It has been completely ruined.

It made a long journey by car from the North West for work, with my dog, very relaxed and easy.

The hotel was close to town. The staff are so attentive and nice. I loved the buffet breakfast, with lots of options for hot and cold breakfast. The rooms are nice and the aircon was much needed in this hot weather

The only thing I would say is the beds felt a little to firm for me, but that is personal preference

Great Welcome on arrival, They stored our bags while we went to our van park. The Room was a nice size and was very cold as the A/C was on which was amazing as it was 33c outside. The Bar/ Breakfast area was large well decorated and very clean. Breakfast was served from 6am and we were down at 7am it was very busy with a large coach group The buffet breakfast was still well stocked and there were multiple free tables, and no waiting time. The lift down to the Harbour was a nice surprise as well

No Parking at the hotel, Its Double yellow lines outside the front door, the nearest carpark behind the Premier Inn has a max height of 1.98 meters so large SUVs and Vans cant get in and the open air top deck is for the Premier inn customer. Luckily we got street parking. Hotel Windows dont open so cant get any natural air flow (Luckily A/C was excellent) Rooms with sea view are an extra charged of £25 per night.
