Stunning gardens and landscaping throughout the resort; extra touches to make our stay more kid-friendly (smaller room slippers, step stool for the bathroom sink, kids club was fantastic); staff were very friendly and attentive.

Check-in was really slow - took half an hour - and our luggage was not even in the room by then; unlimited a la carte breakfast might seem luxurious but not if parts of your order are constantly slow or forgotten; sofa bed was small and very uncomfortable.

- Quiet side swimming pool is too shady and the water was too cold. Floating leaves. - Main swimming pool is too small and too many things going around like pool exercise, children jumping in and looked in by people walking on path...Just can't relax. Probably the worst 5star resort swimming pool ever seen.

This place is amazing, the breakfast, the setup, the facilities, the spa, the rooms, the staff. Very child friendly and very comfortable.

Service during breakfast was a bit slow and hot beverages were served lukewarm multiple times.

Pros (1) Pool villa is big with huge bathroom and small kitchen. It even has a second toilet near the pool. (2) Breakfast is delivered to you at table and has wide variety and is good. (3) Butlers are responsive on WhatsApp. (4) Free non alcoholic drinks and snacks in room (5) Small stalls around selling snacks. (6) Central square with bars and restaurants is big. (7) Gardens are lush with big trees. (8) Food is fine. Indonesian food is good. (9) Room cleaning is arranged at a time of your choice. (10) Good kids club with attentive staff. (11) Icon mall, a new shopping Centre, is just a 20 minutes walk or 5 minute drive away (12) Airport is less than 30 minutes away by car. (13) Air con thermostat in villa works very well. Cons (1) Got food poisoning after dinner but hotel did offer ginger tea and a doctor. (2) Shockingly for a 5 star hotel, there is no email address in the website or room confirmation email that you can send emails to before your stay. I searched on the internet for an address. Nobody replied for the first address, and there was a reply for the second address. (3) Pool could be bigger. (4) No proper beach. You cannot swim in it as waves are very gentle. (5) Turtle Centre allows people to pay to release a baby turtle during the day. Not sure how they can survive a day release alone. (6) Kids club is only free for 2 hours and there is an hourly rate after that. (7) Public path between hotel and beach is very busy with lots of people.

We absolutely loved our stay! The hotel is beautiful and the breakfast was amazing, with so much choice. Our 6-year-old children absolutely loved the kids’ club. The staff throughout the hotel were incredible — so friendly, helpful and welcoming. We honestly loved everything about our stay.

Absolutely NOT a 5-star experience – Andaz Sanur Garden Suite We booked the Garden Suite for four people, expecting a genuine 5-star experience. Unfortunately, what followed was extremely disappointing. We had announced in advance that we would be arriving late at night. When we arrived, there were only three beds for four guests. One of our children simply had no proper bed. When we asked for an extra bed, we were told there was no bed available. About an hour later, something was eventually brought to the room — but it was far too small for our child to actually fit in. And the most frustrating part? After three out of our five nights, our child is still sleeping in this far-too-small bed. Despite raising the issue, it still has not been properly resolved. For almost €900 per night, I think it is completely reasonable to expect that every guest has a proper bed that they can actually sleep in. The next issue was a bird inside our room. We reported it to reception at around 7 PM, but nothing was done. When we returned around 11 PM, the bird was still there. Staff eventually came, but they could not catch it. The net was too small, and in the end we had to catch the bird ourselves. After the first night, I spoke to someone from management, but they were neither willing nor able to provide a meaningful solution. This morning, I again asked to speak directly with the hotel manager. Initially, our butler confirmed that this could be arranged. Fifteen minutes later, that suddenly changed, and I was told I could only speak to the person responsible for the room. Once again, we felt that our concerns were simply not being taken seriously. The hotel promotes a highly personalized luxury experience, including dedicated Butler Service. Our reality has been very different. We experienced: * No proper bed for one of four guests upon arrival * A replacement bed that was far too small — still not resolved after 3 of 5 nights * A bird left in our room for hours * Staff unable to resolve the situation * Poor follow-up from management * Difficulty even getting to speak to the hotel manager * Fresh products and juices that were not available at breakfast as expected This is simply not a 5-star experience. For almost €900 per night, I expect much more — especially when something goes wrong. Saying “sorry” is not enough. What matters is actually solving the problem. Very disappointing, and absolutely not worth the price.

Hotellin design on todella kaunis, ja sitä ympäröivät upeat puutarhat. Huone oli tilava, ja access uima-altaalle mukava lisä. Hotellilla on paljon aktiviteetteja sekä aikuisille ja lapsille. Erityisesti kids club oli laadukas ja lapsemme viihtyivät siellä hyvin. Aamiainen on upea, ja myös muuta ruuat erittäin tasokkaita.

Ainoa negatiiviseksi kokemamme asia oli aurinkotuolien määrä - parhaat paikat oli varattu jo aikaisin, ja etenkin lastenaltaan ja pääaltaan lähistöltä oli vaikea saada aurinkotuoleja.

De ruime, schone kamers inclusief attentive personeel. De kinderactiviteiten gedurende de dag. Ik denk oprecht dat we nergens zo een geweldig ontbijt hebben ervaren. Al met al een top verblijf, waarbij we nog eens 3 nachten verlengden omdat we het er zo fijn vonden. Je loopt ook zo vanaf het resort aan de voorkant lekker het stadje van Sanur in en aan de achterkant kan je de gehele boulevard afleggen ter fiets.

Gorgeous property, incredible buffet breakfast and service that is out of this world. Plenty of families with kids, but enough private areas for couples/adults to retreat. Loads of quality dining venues, good gym, multiple pools, and a short stroll into Sanur for everything the town has to offer. If you can afford this treat, go for it, you won't be disapppointed.

Beautiful hotel with great facilities and spotless rooms and service. Breakfast was the best we ever had in a hotel, each dish could be served in a Michelin restaurant. Prices at the restaurants are fair and food is delicious.

I don't understand why the pools are not heated to at least 30 C to make them enjoyable. We could not swim for more than 5 minutes as the temperature was too cold, we kept hearing other guests complaining as well. Beach is not great and full of algue so didn't swim there either.

We loved our stay at Andaz. The resort is inviting and intimate, beautifully manicured and considered. The food and coffee was an unexpected highlight. We couldn't fault this resort.

We had a wonderful stay at Andaz Bali. The resort premises, grounds, and location are absolutely beautiful, and the breakfast and concierge team were standouts. While there are a few operational and value adjustments that could elevate the experience—specifically regarding check-in efficiency, spa pricing, and gym facilities—we thoroughly enjoyed our time and would gladly recommend this property to friends and family. Property Aesthetics: The resort grounds are stunning. The lush plants, fountains, and thoughtful design create a serene, beautiful atmosphere throughout the property. Prime Location: The location is fantastic. Having direct access to the beach walk, along with numerous dining and shopping options just steps outside the resort, made exploring effortless. Concierge Services: We booked a guided day tour to Ubud through the hotel concierge, and the experience was exceptional and pricing was competitive. The arrangements were seamless and well executed. The guide was stellar! Breakfast: Phenomenal. The quality, variety, and presentation were outstanding. Check-In Process: The arrival check-in took far too long. After an exhausting long-haul flight, a lengthy check-in is particularly tough. Spa & Wellness (Needs Improvement) Spa Pricing Strategy: The spa pricing felt excessively high—nearly five times the local market rate outside the resort. Pricing at this level ultimately discouraged us from booking treatment services altogether. We got a phenomenal massage at 1/5th the price at an outside spa! Fitness Center: The gym facility is functional, but it could benefit from additional equipment and amenities, particularly for strength and weight training.

We had a fantastic experience at Andaz Bali, Sanur. The location is well located and has direct access to the Sanur beach - you can easily walk around the beach promenade to explore various restaurants and bars. The resort itself is beautiful - equipped with modern facilities but still has authentic Balinese feeling. Rooms were very spacious and service was amazing. Staff were very helpful and always smiling. I would visit again!

全てが最高！こんなにホテルのスタッフさんが和かで挨拶をしてくれる場所行ったことがなかった。 部屋 ・広々とした清潔な部屋 ・開放的なバルコニー ・豊富なアメニティ(バスボールが付いているのが最高) ・バスタブが広々、シャワーが別で温水、水圧も良い 施設 ・ラウンジのサービスおもてなしが最高で、特にYumikoさん(女性)との会話が楽しく、まるで親戚のお家に遊びにきたかのような心温まるひと時を過ごせた。 ・5歳の子供が毎日キッズクラブに行きアクティビティを楽しめた ・スタッフがどの方も親切で楽しく充実した毎日を過ごせた 食事・レストラン ・シーフードが新鮮で美味しく、サービスも最高だった ・ルームサービスでデザートを頼みました。暑いからきっとアイスは溶けてるだろうなと想定してたのに、冷え冷えで運ばれてきて感激しました。スタッフさんの努力があるからだろうなと思います。 ・朝食はアラカルト方式でまるで朝からフルコースを食べるような盛り付けとサービス嬉しかったです。 普段バタバタと過ごしていて、ホテルでもビュッフェだと適当にササっと食べられるものですませてしまうけど、ここの朝食はサービスから盛り付けまで本当に考えられていて、優雅な非日常を味わうことができ心身ともに癒されました。 マッサージスパ ・館からハイアット方面に5分ほど歩きますが良い散歩コースで、フロントの女性がわざわざ見送ってくれたので助かりました。 ・今まで受けたマッサージで過去最高！ Pastingさんという女性の方がとにかくゴッドハンドでした。万年肩こりで強でないと満足できない強さですが、ちょうど良い塩梅で全身マッサージをしてくれて爆睡してしまいました。ヘッドスパも本当におすすめです。

Excellent property. New, well planned, large rooms with very nice bathrooms, bidets, walk in closets, etc. The property was very nicely done and very clean. The breakfast was very very good. The polls, restaurants and common areas were very nice. Much nicer than the Hyatt Regency next door.

The gym was very nice but a bit small. The lounge only serves coffee from 10am-10pm; a little earlier would be nice. The pool area servers are not as present as I would have expected.

A new luxurious hotel in the Sanur area of Bali. The hotel is very well kept with very attentive staff. The attention to small details and the excellent room made the stay. Many great eateries are within walking distance along the boardwalk.

Found a new hidden Gem in Bali. The Hotel is in a great location, in walking distance of most main spots of Sanur, even the new Mall is only 20 minutes walk down the beach. Plenty of restaurants and Spas within walking distance. What makes this place great is that they get most things right, rooms are spacious, clean and very cosy. Staff is attentive and overall very friendly. Food is exceptional, starting with an all à la carte breakfast with countless creative options to extremely tasty dishes in the restaurants. The only thing I wish they would do a bit better is the Gym, it’s shared with the Hyatt and as a result just overcrowded. Finally one thing to keep in mind, this is a very family friendly hotel so if you’re coming during school holiday time and don’t want kids running around everywhere this place is not for you. Overall really fabulous new-ish hotel in one of the less known towns that has so much to offer.

We loved our stay. Was bether then We Thought. 10/10. Only thing wrong is their something in the pool floor that gives the kids some red blisteres on the feet.

The Andaz in Sanur has the potential to be a great resort, but my recent stay was deeply frustrating due to a severe and obvious lack of staff. While the employees on site are incredibly hardworking, they are stretched completely thin, which ruined the personalized experience you expect at this price point and led to serious safety oversights. The most disturbing part of the stay was the resort's inability to manage a documented food allergy, despite me reporting it both before arrival and during check-in. Upon arrival, my room's minibar contained the specific food allergen. Even after I informed the staff and they cleaned the room, housekeeping restocked the minibar and actually returned the allergen to the room. At the restaurant, the wait staff failed to warn me that one of the dishes I ordered contained my allergen. When a resort fails to communicate allergy information across its departments, it becomes a major safety liability. The sheer lack of personnel was visible across the entire property. The staff were clearly overburdened, leaving them zero time to get to know guests individually (such as the restaurant not remembering my food allergy) or focus on the overall guest experience. In the dining areas, it was incredibly difficult to get the attention of the wait staff because they were constantly rushing between too many tables. The housekeeping staff were purely task-focused; they were working hard to get their jobs done but were too busy to consider the overarching guest experience. General upkeep also slipped through the cracks, with walkways frequently left dirty and covered in leaves. The staff members themselves are not to blame here. They functioned well at their individual tasks and were clearly doing the best they could under heavy workloads. However, management has failed them and the guests by not adequately staffing the resort. Other resorts in the area handle this much better. Until Andaz Sanur hires enough staff to safely and comfortably manage their guests, I cannot recommend staying here.

We stayed here for our babymoon, and while the resort itself was lovely, one aspect of our stay made us feel very uncomfortable. At breakfast each morning, one of the staff members—a white gentleman who was not a local—appeared to be flirting with my husband and repeatedly gave him lingering, suggestive looks. It happened every morning and became so uncomfortable that by the third day we decided to have breakfast at the café next door instead. We came to relax and enjoy this special time together before welcoming our baby, so it was disappointing to feel uneasy during what should have been a pleasant part of our day. I hope the hotel addresses this professionally so that future guests can enjoy their stay without feeling uncomfortable.

​We stayed at Andaz Bali for a family trip and had a really enjoyable few days there. We booked an Andaz Suite with a connecting room, which worked out perfectly for us. The suite was spacious, but we ended up spending most of our downtime on the huge terrace overlooking the quiet pool. Just relaxing out there with a fresh coconut while the family read books under the trees felt like a postcard. ​Breakfast ended up being the biggest highlight. The selection was incredible, especially unique dishes like the cro nigiri and the village egg royal. We've stayed at a number of top luxury resorts around Bali, but this breakfast easily tops them all. We actually just went to Wicked Spoon at The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas not long before this trip, and Andaz Bali blows it away in terms of flavor and uniqueness. It's honestly worth staying here just for the breakfast alone. ​One evening, we had dinner at Fisherman's Club. Loved the fresh fish market concept where we picked our own catch straight from the boat. Everything was grilled to order and tasted amazing. We usually drive all the way to Jimbaran for seafood, but we skipped it this time because this place completely nailed it. What truly made the stay unforgettable was the team running the operations. Huge thanks to Pak Agus Virgianto and Ibu Sintia Dewi for keeping everything running so smoothly behind the scenes. ​A very special appreciation goes to Pak Rai Wiguna. This guy went completely above and beyond for my family from day one. He brought so much genuine warmth and was incredibly flexible with our scheduling needs. His dedication is rare, I even saw him firsthand helping other guests carry heavy bags in the lobby. That is true leadership right there. ​They really made us feel like family here and we will definitely be back. Matur Suksma!

안 좋을수가 없죠 안다즈. 아쉬운점이 하나도 없는 숙소였습니다. 여행 목적 : 효도여행 어딜가도 숙박객들의 편의를 생각하는 부분이 컸고 직원들의 친절함이 더해지니 호텔의 장점을 부각시키는 시너지가 컸습니다. 3인으로 1방에서 묵었습니다만, 방 1개로도 성인 3명이 만족스럽게 생활할 수 있을 정도로 객실이 컸습니다. 러닝 좋아하시는 분들에겐 꿈의 장소입니다. 사누르 해변을 따라 러닝을 하고, 안다즈 수영장 간이 샤워로 쿨다운 후 수영장 입수하시면 행복 그 자체입니다. (앞에 바다 멀리서 보기엔 이쁘긴 한데 들어가서 보면 나뭇가지들이 좀 많습니다. 바다입수 비추) 수질 걱정하실 필요 없습니다. 주는 물 다 받아마셨고 음식도 날 것 먹었는데도 별 일 없었습니다. 개인 샤워기 필터도 그렇게 안 더러워졌구요. 음식 맛있습니다. 그냥 주는거 다 받아드셔도 되고, 한국인 주방장님께서 계시는데, 그 분께서 한국인 어르신들(저희 부모님) 뵈면 잘 챙겨주셨던 것도 너무 감사했습니다. 사누르를 몰라요? 근데 돈 좀 들여서 쉬고 싶어요? 안다즈 가세요 그냥 ㅋㅋ

Our family of four (two adults and two children) recently stayed at Andaz Bali, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was warm, genuine, and sincere. As Hyatt Globalists, we truly felt recognized and appreciated throughout our stay. Every team member greeted us with a smile and consistently went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful vacation. The resort is absolutely beautiful. The grounds are immaculately maintained, the pools are fantastic for both adults and children, and the beachfront location in Sanur provides a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. It was the perfect place to unwind after an active trip through South Korea. Breakfast was one of the highlights of every day. The selection was extensive, the quality was outstanding, and everything was fresh and beautifully presented. Our children looked forward to breakfast each morning, and the restaurant staff always made us feel welcome. The concierge team was exceptional. They helped arrange our Ubud tour, airport transportation, and provided excellent recommendations that made exploring Bali effortless. Every recommendation turned out to be fantastic. A very special thank you to the team for helping us celebrate my wife’s 40th birthday. The beautiful cake and thoughtful room decorations made the celebration incredibly special and created memories our family will always cherish. Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, beautifully designed, and extremely comfortable for our family. The attention to detail throughout the resort truly reflects the Andaz brand.
