The beautiful style & very and helpful staff.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. I loved my room. It was very quiet and had a good view. The location is good with direct access to the beach and the main street.

The bed in 415 was creaky and the mattress a bit lumpy. It needs replacing. The menus in the 3 restaurants have not been changed for a long time. They need a revamp with maybe some monthly specials. The spa is lovely but it is expensive and definitely not the best treatments I have had in Sanur. The reflexology massage was just a lower leg massage with no attention given to the reflexology points in the feet. Very disappointing.

9月中旬の滞在だったが、思っていた以上に海風が毎日強かった。 プールもついているヴィラタイプの部屋であったが１階で日当たりが悪かった。 プールにもあまり陽が差し込まなかった。 部屋に円形のバスタブがあるのだが、クローゼットとの境がなく、それ用の換気もないため、部屋の湿度が 高く、クローゼットの衣類も少し湿っていた。

Lovely hotel. Location was great - right on the beach and close to town. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Facilities and food were excellent.

A good hotel, but basics need improving. Key things for me: - I don’t expect to have to ask for the shower gel to be refilled twice in our room during our 5 night stay. It gets serviced daily yet this was never checked?! And the ladies toilets by the pool too. Of the two dispensers, one was empty on arrival, both empty by day 3 of our stay and again I had to alert the hotel to refill. - don’t bother with the butler service. We paid £300 extra on our stay for this ‘benefit’ which was essentially a WhatsApp service to reception. We had assumed it was a physical person, but it’s not. Other hotels in Bali offered us this service as standard without an additional cost. - even with this butler service, we nearly missed a full moon dinner on our last night, because they didn’t tell us! We happened to find at about it chatting to a lovely waitress at lunch a previous day. - service is shockingly slow. Drinks take at least 30 mins to come, and even if you order a meal together, they often struggled to serve together. They also take allergies very seriously (and rightly So) but multiple times the food didn’t come as ordered (ie with paprika, herbs, not plain etc) and had to be remade. Not usually with kids who often waited 45 minutes plus for a simple snack lunch! Staff were lovely, but we experienced this all over Bali. It’s not a true five star for me.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Maya Sanur Resort and Spa. One of favourite experiences was that we both did the Indonesian cooking class under the wonderful guidance of Chef Sugiana. Amongest beautiful surroundings Chef Sugiana gave us great insight into traditional Indonesian dishes. We had so much fun and a fantastic feast to dine on. Our gorgeous hostess Cahya was also outstanding and could not have made us feel more special. When you stay take full advantage of all the experiences this great resort has to offer, you will not be disappointed.

Disappointed! I m talking about what I expected from 5 luxury stars hotel. I was so excited to stay at this hotel,after reading some reviews , pictures on the website and the rating. But I am disappointed. I am indonesian, I know that even 4stars hotel in Indonesia feels luxurious let alone 5 stars, and I have stayed at few 5stars hotels in Indonesia and some other countries. It says luxury 5 stars hotel..but I don't feel like it.when i booked this hotel I was imagined there will be sunbeds by the beach, nice huge pool as it pictured on the website, but no. They only have 1 set of sunbeds 4 sets of bean bags by the beach.that's about it. The pool is small for huge hotel, except if you stay at lagoon pool rooms then you can swim at long private pool. the sunbeds mostly old and dirty, dry leaves everywhere make it looks not clean. Breakfast not brilliant. The location is good, when you go out from front of hotel, there are lots shops, massages shops, supermarkets, and if you go out from the back of the hotel, is the sea side. Beautiful walk along the beach and its not that far from big Icon mall. There were few problems also in the room but the staff were quickly solved them. The staff however are wonderful, polite and always great us with smile, that's why I give 3 stars, otherwise I would give 2 stars. Overall I wouldn't stay here again. Im not trying to knock it out, I was just give you an honest opinion.

建築デザインの特徴と思われるが、ロビーや廊下が やや暗い。もう何種類か レストラン(ジャンル)を増やすと良いかもしれない。

The stay at Maya!! Oh wow!! The breakfast amazing and the variety., and so many sweets and even their jams are made on the premises. The restaurants are all excellent and great value. The rooms were incredible! And huge!! Made such a difference. The sweets and fruit in the room, the turndown of the beds in the afternoon, the staff are also perfection! So quiet, with nature all around and yet walk out the front door and your on the Main Street with plenty of shopping. The beach is super clean and the water crystal clear. It is quite tidal but made no difference to us swimming at the beach. Can’t say enough great things. My husband is super fussy and he loved it!! We’ll be back!!!

Nous avons pris une chambre pour 4. Les couchages sont petits, heureusement nous avions deux enfants (5et 9ans), nous avons fait un parent/un enfant par lit….avec de grands enfants, c’est juste surtout par rapport au prix de la nuit.

Tres jolie Hotel placer en bord de l'océan la plage est pas très jolie mais placé dans une rue avec commerce.

Attention a bien lire quand vous réservez je pensais avoir une chambre double de 60m2 avec des chambres séparées comme indiqué mais je me suis retrouvé dans une très jolie chambre de 20m2 avec des lits côté a côté. Piscine très jolie mais un peu petite pour la taille de l'hôtel

Lovely Resort, we were very happy with this resort, great location…can’t beat Sanur. Just one thing, the bed although a Hollywood king needed a topper but that is just a personal preference, the room was fantastic.

Not worth the cost , very long distances to walk , no buggies, cafes but no restaurants , foyer very grey & drab, room nice but not big enough for the cost & very small TV , location good & used outside restaurants

The rooms are lovely as are the staff. The breakfast was less than average for a resort of the quality. In comparison to the breakfast we experienced at the Legian Beach Hotel ( which was incredible) The Maya needs to lift the standard. The selection was and quality was underwhelming would not stay there again.

We stayed for one night and were supposed to stay for another 2 nights later in our trip but we opted just to lose the money and stay elsewhere. The 2 double beds in the rooms are really just big singles and not suitable at all for 2 people. Worst night’s sleep ever!

Atmosphere is so good! Ms. SUCI is very kind person. She kindly supported my family.

God beliggenhed i den stille del af Sanur. Skøn morgenmadsbuffet med stort udvalg. Gode restauranter på hotellet (dog dyre efter Bali standard). Flotte værelser - se dog min kommentar og størrelse på værelset og særligt sengene. Flot og rummeligt badeværelse.

Lille poolområde. Små dobbeltsenge (140x200). Vi boede i et Impressive Nest værelse som familie med 2 voksne og 2 teenagebørn (15 og 19), og værelset var for lille, og sengene var meget små.

The room was very small - the double beds were small and right next to each other. It felt very cramped and it was a squeeze trying to fit 4 suitcases in the room. The pool is very shallow.

The room description did not match what we got. The 2 double beds were in fact 2 large singles and not suitable at all for 2 adults and 2 teens. We got a terrible night sleep as a result.

Our stay at Maya Sanur Resort & Spa was a great experience from start to finish. The beachfront location is one of its biggest highlights, with beautiful sunrise views each morning, and it's within easy walking distance of Sanur's many shops, cafés, and restaurants, making it easy to explore the area without needing transportation. We stayed in a Nest Suite, which was spacious, thoughtfully designed, and very comfortable, albeit not much of a view. All of the room's light controls are bedside, which was convenient. The bathroom features double sinks, a separate bathtub and shower, and is divided from the bedroom by a glass wall that gives the entire suite an open, airy feel. During evening turndown service, a privacy screen is lowered over the glass, preventing bathroom light from disturbing anyone who is sleeping. The breakfast buffet had an impressive variety of options, though it can get quite busy during peak hours. The fitness center is larger than many resort gyms, making it easy to keep up with a workout while traveling. The extensive spa menu offers plenty of treatments for anyone looking to relax and unwind. I had a massage and it was top-notch! This is a good option for couples, groups, and families.

Not sure how this hotel gets 4.5 stars. We only just returned from our stay there. We had a heavenly pool suite. The room was dark and the pool cold. A waste of our money really. No sunshine. All communication goes through what's app.... really. Breakfast ordinary. Staff pleasant and helpful. All outdoor upholstery grubby. Not enough pool chairs in the sun. Whole hotel a bit of a wind tunnel. Would not go back. Room clean and tidy

Sehr saubere und gepflegte Anlage. Nettes und sehr freundliches Personal. Essen war sehr lecker, gute Auswahl beim Frühstück und auch mittags und abends konnte man im Hotel gut essen mit schönen Blick. Direkt an der Strandpromenade. Strand war sauber! Sehr gutes Spa! Unser gebuchtes Zimmer (Wonderful Zimmer) war für 4 Personen etwas klein und es gab wenig Stauraum.

Small room not for family's with 2 adults chilfern

Pretty hotel, good location & decent breakfast but not the customer service we have become accustomed to with hotels in the Middle East. Not willing to go the extra mile for guests. We arrived a few hours early and had notified the hotel that we’d need an early check in. But this was not accommodated. Our flight home wasn’t until 7.30pm so we asked for a slightly later check out but they wanted to charge us in excess of £230 for 3 hours and unwilling to give us even one hour extra to check out. We were also notified about a complimentary afternoon tea but this was a very basic offering of tea, fried cassava and a traditional sweet. Hardly worth making the effort to go down for. Labels were up for other items but none were actually available. Found a large spider and several mosquitoes in the room. It was my daughter‘s birthday so had prior to arrival requested for them to make this special for her, all we got was a small slice of cheesecake left in our room with no birthday message or anything. Highly regret not booking the Intercontinental which was a similar price point.

Location was great, right on beach with a strip of shops. That's the only positive about Maya Sanur, it is in no way a 5 star resort. Towels threadbare, mould on the sealed " sanitised" bath non-slip mat, rooms not sound proof (door to pool doesn't shut completely). Had a wedding keep us awake until midnight, noise only stopped when we asked staff to stop packing up (wedding itself stopped at 10 which is fine). Strong smell of urine in bathroom on arrival, turned out toilet was leaking, after it was fixed we had to request a clean (& another after a poor first "clean"). Multiple requests to get the tv fixed, bathroom wasn't clean on arrival, short curly hairs in bath, hair in shower and around toilet. Broken tiles in the main swimming pool (also small for size of resort, quite crowded bulk of the day), watered down soap in pool toilets. Service not 5 star. Many staff stand uncomfortably close to dining guests, are unable to read body language so get multiple pointless interruptions.

It is hard to be critical of a place when the staff are so kind, friendly and go out of their way to assist. There were however a few issues that we fed back privately to the management. I wouldn’t class this as a 5 star resort. The building is like a big concrete apartment complex and the whole place lacks that special Balinese atmosphere that we love. The whole place felt a bit cramped and closed in. It seemed very busy around the dining and pool area. I did find it odd that in a place where it is daylight at 6am and 25-26 degrees, you were not allowed to use to the pool until 0800(some people choose to disobey this though). Food was okay but nothing to write home about. We had a room on the 4th floor with a nice garden view. The room wasn’t as private as described on the website and people would be able to see into your room from other balconies if they tried. It was however, very spacious, clean and comfortable. There is a ‘smoking area’ behind the front bar and between the pool and main restaurant(I accept this is Bali & I wont begin to tell you how much I detest breathing in other peoples smoke!). But, if all of the above doesn’t bother you then go for it.

A beautiful resort, with visual appeal and a good location. Stayed in Nest room, with massive (overly large) bed and a lovely deck. Room amenities were great and servicing excellent. Onsite pool well maintained with enough lounges. Enjoyed the complimentary yoga and well equipped gym and afternoon tea. Found the service in the beach site restaurant lacking and had several errors with orders, and long wait times for service and meals. Had to repeatedly ask for the Maya rewards discount to be applied.

We had a wonderful stay at Maya Sanur. The rooms are exceptionally spacious, beautifully designed, and spotlessly clean. The swimming pool is fantastic and always well maintained. A special thank you to the breakfast team, who were incredibly kind, attentive, and always made sure we had everything we needed. Their warm hospitality made every morning a pleasure. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Maya Sanur to anyone visiting Bali!

The Maya Sanur hotel was a fabulous experience for our family. The nest suites were very unique in design, private and cozy but with a lovely balcony and skyline- water views. The breakfast buffet was delicious and generous, drinks - snacks at the Tree Bar were awesome looking out over the beach. We also had drinks and lunch at the pool and used the Gym and the Spa - all were fantastic. Okta at the restaurant provided a great service and Dedi at Reception was friendly and efficient as well.

The resort is beachfront and perfect for sunrise walks, and we loved being able to walk along the beach to cafes and ICON Bali Mall. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast had an excellent variety. What stood out the most was the staff. They were genuinely warm, attentive and always greeted us with a smile, which made the stay feel welcoming.

Our experience got off to a bad start at the entrance. We clearly told the staff we wanted to order food and drinks and spend some time by the pool. They let us in without explaining there were restrictions on where we could sit or that we weren’t allowed to use the pool. We found some loungers, got settled, and enjoyed the great beach view. It was a little cold, but the setting was lovely. When we went to order food and drinks, we were then told we had to move to the restaurant area and couldn’t sit by or use the pool. That was really frustrating, especially after we’d already settled in. We stayed and ordered plenty of food and drinks anyway, but unfortunately the food was disappointing and the service was pretty underwhelming. The whole situation could have been avoided if the staff at the entrance had clearly explained the rules before letting us in. A little communication would have made a big difference.

Exceptional stay at the Maya. The staff can’t do enough for you . The breakfast buffet is excellent and has great choice. We had a couple of evening meals which were incredibly good. Our room was clean and spacious and the beds were really comfy. The hotel is on the beach and there is a walkway next to the beach taking you in both directions from the hotel. We walked into the icon shopping mall along it. I’d recommend the Maya Sanur .

A large hotel that never feels crowded; calm, peaceful, and beautifully maintained throughout. The staff are genuinely attentive and welcoming, which really adds to the experience. Great layout with one exit onto the main road for easy access to shops and restaurants, and the other straight onto the beach and a lovely 6km walking path. Well cared for, relaxing, and in a brilliant location. Would happily stay again.

The Maya is absolutely stunning! From the moment you drive up to the lobby, you know you’re in for a treat ☺️ We stayed in the Impressive Nest Suite with 2 Double beds. Such a beautiful room, the bathroom took our breath away! All amenities were clean and the beds super comfy! The buffet breakfast was one that will be hard to forget, so much variety and so fresh! The view is fantastic, as you eat you get to watch people walk up and down the boardwalk or gaze at the calm beach. It was definitely a highlight of the hotel, and set up up for the entire day 😊 The location is wonderful! You can head out on foot at anytime of day and be able to access anything you desire. So close to everything, but if you are a little hot or tired a grab is easy to access too. The staff were all so beautifully kind and lovely. Such are the Balinese 💕

The toilet door was a bit close to the toilet, so when you stand up it is awkward. Also the shower was a little complicated to work out how to use, some instruction notes would help.

Absolutely outstanding! We have just returned from the Sanur Maya Hotel, and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived until the moment we sadly had to leave, everything was simply perfect. Every single member of staff was warm, friendly, professional, and genuinely couldn't do enough to make our stay special. The level of customer service was exceptional and made us feel so welcome throughout our holiday. A special thank you for the kindness shown to us on our departure day. Even after we had checked out, we were invited to continue using the hotel's facilities until our taxi arrived for the airport. It was such a thoughtful gesture and meant we could enjoy our final day in comfort and relaxation. The location is fantastic, right on the beachfront and within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants, and everything Sanur has to offer. The hotel itself is beautiful, peaceful, spotless, and the perfect place to unwind. Thank you to everyone at the Sanur Maya Hotel for making our holiday so memorable. We loved every single minute from start to finish and will definitely be returning. Without a doubt, one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Highly recommended!

First time stay at the Maya. Was a pleasant surprise. Great central location. The bar/ restaurant at the front of the hotel was ideal. We had a pool access room and enjoyed it.

Overall such a wonderful stay at this resort would repeat.

We had the most amazing time. Our room was spectacular and very clean. Our room was attended to twice a day. Hermanto was professional in every aspect and catered to our every need. Our room was the “Garden room suite” with a private pool.

Great location in Sanur. Close to the turtle place. Close to restaurants, spa, shops. You can walk to Icon Bali along the main road or along the beach. Superb service by the hotel. I mistakenly booked wrong dates they were able to accomodate the date change. Much appreciated

After vistiing Maya Ubad many times we decided to try Maya Sanur. It was fabulous! The rooms were huge and spotless with natural light and very high ceilings. The large glass sliding doors bring the garden into the room. This hotel has subtle art pieces everywhere. The Staff were 100% attentive to all. Special mention to Utami who looked after us at the MayaSari every day. The food was true 'Maya' standard and a cut above the regular hotels. The breeze from the calm beach meant no discomfort from humidity. Every night a different guitarist played different types of music - from Reggae to Latin to Pop and Country! We come to Bali every 6 months and mostly stay in Nusa Dua, but will be adding Maya Sanur to our Itinerary in the future.
