1. I had extra fees taking me that cause me to limit my trip. They fixed it but it wouldn’t be returned for another 5 days which didn’t help my situation. It defeated the purpose of me coming on this trip. My toilet seat was slanted, you had to sit side ways to use the bathroom. Lastly you were unable to charge your phone. My cousin and I sat our phones on the charger for hours and even over night and we still couldn’t get a full charge. I also had a portable radio that couldn’t charge.

Room was very small a/c not very good nowhere to put anything no fridge , but really annoyed me was they charged me $16.00 for a little black cotton tote bag I thought was free it had no label on it saying it was $16.00 and they used my credit card chip and without my permission which is fraudulent I will be taking this up with my bank

Absolute gem in South Beach! The hotel is clean and has a fantastic pool and rooftop area. Only two blocks from the ocean (and the heart of South Beach) and they provide two beach chairs (included in the resort fee). Evenings at the rooftop are magical and you can see the coast line and all of the ships leaving port. Wanted to also mention one of the most helpful front desk staff members ever. Solange was so kind and made sure we were taken care of from the minute we arrived. Will definitely stay here again.

The staff from check-in were wonderful very efficient and friendly. I would especially point out Wyman who went above and beyond to assist me in understanding the hotel’s offerings. He was a gem on the staff and if you meet him make sure to say hello!

Réservation avec un petit déjeuner inclus qui n existait pas. Une belle arnaque! Pas à la hauteur des hôtels Moxy!! Et en plus, bien que l hôtel soit vide, notre chambre donnait sur un mur à 1m, juste en dessous de la terrasse du bar, très bruyant avec la musique à fond. dommage!

I want to thank Daniel at the Front Desk for making my Birthday weekend stay at Moxy's South Beach Miami Absolutely Amazing!! Daniel made our late night check-in a fun and positive experience. Daniele was very personable and informative about on-site amenities. Because of Daniel's hospitality, we extended our stay at Moxy's, and enjoyed every minute of it at the pool and Serena Rooftop. Too hot, too loud, dirty… not a place if you wanna rest

The location is fantastic. There’s so many things around. There’s a 7/11 across the street to get drinks. There’s a cvs a 3 min walk away. The beach is less than 10 mins away. Food options everywhere. The hotel’s beach area was huge. They offer free chairs but an umbrella is about $30. But the chairs are clean and well maintained. All the beach areas look the same. So we went to the wrong hut first. A bigger sign would have been great but it’s a close walk to the other hut. The hotel was great. The rooms are tiny. We had a king bed with two suitcases and made it work with ease! The wall system they have works great when you figure out how to make it work for you. We were on the second floor facing the alleyway above the parking and it was quiet at night. No issues sleeping. The ac in the room was okay. It did feel like it stopped in the middle of the night but it was never warm, just not as cold as we wanted ,but still cool. The main pool was great. Lots of seats. This was during a heat wave in the summer. So not a lot of people there. Towels were sometimes hard to get or you had to wait. The rooftop area was the best. The pool was about a foot deep and super warm so not for swimming. But the rest of the area was a great spot to hangout. People brought their own food or drinks and just hung out on the roof which was nice. The rooms are small so having a spot to relax and not have to pay a crazy price for a drink was great. Especially if you don’t want to go to a bar every night. I’m sure the hotel would prefer to sell drinks or food but I hope they don’t change that. Having that space was a huge impact. We were there during the week, so it was quieter which was nice. The staff were amazing. They would check in to make sure everything was going well. Any questions we had were answered quickly and politely Would definitely come back here, and as long as you don’t need a big room or plan on spending a lot of time in the room, highly recommend it.

De kamers zijn voor Amerikaanse standaarden wel heel klein. We konden nadat we onze koffers in de kamer hadden nauwelijks nog onze kont keren. Maar aangezien we veel weg waren maakte

The room was small and no closets! I called before i arrived and was told that the deposit was $100 then when i arrived i was charged $200, The male checking me in said the deposit is 100 per night which makes no sense to me for a 3 star hotel!

The rooms have NO storage. No closet, desk, chair etc and same with the bathroom. Also we traveled with our two daughters and I didn’t like that we could all see each other when we showered. We ultimately decided that we were not comfortable with the room and didn’t stay our original 3 days Also they charge a deposit of almost the same about you paid for rooms and it won’t be released until 3-5 business days

The rooms are very tight, narrow. We had a room with 2 bunk beds. It was actually uncomfortable -  cramped.  No space to do things, to organize things. Too few piillows. No side tables. In this hotel, little thought was given to comfort, convenience,  practicality. Usually, hotels have a coutesy bottle or 2 of water in the room. In the Moxy, there were, 3 bottles, but with an absurd price of 8 dollars each! No body hydrating criam/ body lotion!!! I was counting on it. No frigobar! The fitness studio seriously lacks even the basic to be able to do a whole workout. The larger of the 2 swimming pools closes at 7 pm, even in July's sweltering heat and when it only gets dark after 8:30 pm.  Why??

Had such a great day here with a day pass! The pool area was beautiful, everything was clean, and the atmosphere was super relaxing. Micaela was friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. It honestly felt like the perfect little getaway without having to stay overnight. Great food, delicious drinks, and amazing service. I’d definitely come back for another pool day!

Friendly staff, good staff for the World Cup, great bar and pool. Rooms are a tad on the small side but overall it’s a great location and a good stay. You tend to pay more for the location to be honest but I’d still recommend.

Great location! Fun Atmosphere. Rooms are just ok. Very small. No closet or drawer space. Staff at hotel bar/ restaurant-LUCA is amazing- great service, provided fantastic local recommendations. Pools are great but close early.

The hotels overall vibe was very cool! It was friendly, relaxed and welcoming! The pool was great!

No breakfast, just a shop. Very expensive. The rooftop restaurant was not as seen in the photographs. It was smaller and a bit scruffy. The rooms are very small which is fine but there is not enough storage, meaning it was quite messy. We only had 4 hangers for 2 people and we stayed for a week so had quite a lot of clothes which had to remain in our suitcases.

What a place South Beach is. And the Moxy was the perfect place to stay. Superb facilities, bars and restaurants. Staff were all super helpful especially Rudu @ the bar who very attentive all week and makes the best margaritas

Fun, funky hotel! Great staff. Fantastic location. Only downside you are given chairs( which is covered by a $35 charge) on the beach but no umbrella. You’re expected to pay another 30 for that.

Third year at hotel it’s the absolute best great location great vibes just amazing the front desk guy rassoul made she were taking care of and was very friendly assertive informative and just a breathe of fresh air will definitely be back next year hope to see him

Checking in with Rassoul was a great experience. He was friendly and very accommodating. The room was a bit small and I had a view of a wall, but it was clean. Amenities were great. Views from the rooftop during sunrise and sunset were beautiful. Valet parked my car under a tree and was returned to me covered in bird poop.

Michel at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. The check in process was smooth, and we enjoyed the free beach chairs on Miami Beach, although we did have to pay for an umbrella. Would visit again.

The hotel is nice and quiet, and its location is definitely the best thing about it. I stayed there for 6 nights and had a very comfortable experience. The reception staff were professional and always willing to help in any way they could, especially Rasoul, who was very friendly and helpful, as was the rest of the team. Overall, the hotel is great for sleeping and relaxing, and I had a pleasant stay.

I love the Moxy the vibe the people especially Daniel who check us in he need a million dollar raise who was awesome. Make sure he is always on the welcoming crew. The location was perfect bus stop right outside to take you to and from Miami airport. The relaxing pool was top notch everyone enjoyed themselves. We will come back again and again.

I had an amazing stay at this resort. Highly recommended me My Sister and my daughter is 13 years old for extremely safe here the staff is wonderful. There’s alsoa nice restaurant there like a lounge we had brunch there that was delicious. Our server was amazing and our server assistant was Eduardo and he above and beyond. I rate this hotel and the experience a 10 out of 10.

Great location in the middle of South Beach, only a short (3min) stroll to the beach and nearby restaurants and bars, wonderful pool area with music and bar, the rooms and hotel facilities are mondern and clean, breakfast available, but we went to a bakery down the street, roof terrace was open and accessible during our stay, which is a nice location for an evening drink overlooking South Beach

We had a family room with two bunk beds for 5 people, which was quite tight and the couch is too small to sleep on, even for young kids.

Arrived early with zero expectation of getting into my room — Thomas and Mica made it happen anyway. They were professional, funny, and genuinely kind about the whole thing. Exactly the kind of welcome you hope for but rarely get. Next morning at I noticed every guest was happy, people were actually talking to each other, and Michal greeted me by name before I had one sip of coffee. By NAME. That's the kind of thing you remember. Moxy South Beach has great vibes, but the people running it are the real reason to book. Come back? Absolutely.

I had an exceptional experience thanks to Tomas at the front desk. He truly made my day today with his professionalism and genuine kindness. Tomas went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. He didn’t just do his job, he made me feel valued, and completely taken care of. He exceeded every expectation. It’s rare to come across someone so dedicated and personable. Tomas is a true asset to the team, and because of him, my experience was easily 5-star. Thank you for making my stay so memorable!

I am surprised the hotel is a 4* the room cleaning hardly happens and rooms are so small! No full sized draws or wardrobe! I was placed on the second floor and it just looks at an alley that is filthy

Soo we checked in one night and promptly checked out the next morning. I am not sure if the (little) research we did was sufficient, however this hotel may be 3 stars at best. We had a room on the 2nd floor with one king bed and that is all (literally). I would liken it to more of a premium hostel-like situation vs. an actual hotel and I say this because I am not sure who the demo to this hotel is? First off, the smell when walking in is a bit extreme - i can appreciate a hotel scent, but this scent was too intense and not enjoyable. Next was the room - again we didn't see all the rooms, but i feel like there should be a place to put your things and this had NOTHING. there was a contraption on the wall where you could hang garments but with two of us there was nowhere to sit other than the bed and with a full suitcase was impossible to maneuver around - we had to step over the bed to get to it. I could go on and on. Next is the cold, non-carpeted floor; now whether you prefer carpet or not is absolutely individual, but carpeting is a nice touch and not so cold feeling. We didn't experience much else at the hotel and i do feel the reviews are hyped. Alas, we did leave and found a Hilton some blocks down with at least a desk area to put our things and room to walk.

Had an awful and long check in, they tried to do me out of money, didn’t have a clue what they were doing was there nearly an hour, not what you need after late flight. Sent us to a room that was already taken . Got new room and couldn’t swing a cat . No space for cases we were jumping over them. Can see through the showers from outside. It’s for young people. the hall carpets need a good clean. Won’t be back

Good location, nice furnitures and we can leave our luggages in the hotel after check out, till our uber start to the airport.

The room was very small for 4 persons, wasn't any place for our luggages. I reserved a room with breakfast by Booking.com, but it was only on the first morning that I found out that the hotel does not provide breakfast with the accommodation, I can buy it for money in the buffet downstairs. The workers there are extremely slow, it took half an hour to make an omelette, and the prices on the bill were mixed up, not what I bought.

Great location, clean room, fun hotel design, wonderful customer service. Radu & Lucca at Serena bar were great, giving us restaurant recommendations and a special treat for our honeymoon!

One of the worst hotels I've been to in the USA. A room being small is one thing, but it not containing closets or drawers is a whole new level. The bathroom and shower stall smelled; the furnishings are old and in disrepair; our safe was not working on our first day, asked multiple times to be fixed and never happened; pool water is cloudy; only one small pillow per person. The only win was the friendly staff, but they don't act on promises. I've been to better youth hostels in my 20s in the 1990s.

Had a good stay here overall with my pre-teen kids! Pros: Hotel decor was really fun, my kiddos loved it, the staff was polite and helpful, location was excellent, and the heated pool beyond wonderful on the chilly/rainy days. Our room (a quad bunk- see "fun" above!) was small but clean and thoughtfully designed with a great view, the bath had Muk products and plenty of towels. The hotel rooftop had incredible views and overall the hotel had a wonderful Miami vibe. Cons: Our room was v. cold with no heat option on the temp control pad, housekeeping included emptying trash and fresh towels but no made beds which was odd, and the pool grounds were dirty (hair, a pet peeve!). The pool issues could easily be remedied, as the two staff seemed mostly occupied with occasionally refilling fresh towels- important, to be sure, but otherwise seemed to be hanging about and not actively paying attention to guest needs (umbrellas, etc.). We brunched at Serena's once and it was delicious, I had a solid margarita at the bar, and overall, with a couple tweaks, this place would have easily earned my five stars. Thanks, Moxy, for a great Spring Break!

Parcheggio con vallet disponibile in loco ben organizzato.

Avevo scelto l’albergo con la colazione in hotel. Arrivo e mi dicono che è a pagamento e che non c’è possibilità. Il secondo giorno dopo la spiaggia torniamo verso le 6 di pomeriggio e la camera non era stata pulita e rifatta. Assurdo! Con quello che abbiamo pagato servizio pessimo!

Not a place is you want to sleep. Arrived tonight, was allocated a very noisy room on the 2nd floor. Complained told no other rooms. The room was what I can explain best in the middle of a party. Non stop loud music pumping out directly outside our room. I've stayed at a few moxy hotels and a fan until coming to this one. Love trendy hotels with a good vibe. However I still want a hotel where I can go to my room and get peace and be able to sleep. Was told mosaic would stop at 11 but no I am writing this just after midnight and it's only just stopped.

The common areas look like they were once really nice- but are now worn and tired. We are a family of four- and the room was definitely cramped- with only one pillow per person. The pillows were very uncomfortable- and when we asked for more, the staff said there weren’t any. We were supposed to be allowed a late check in online if 2pm- but they said we were downgraded because the hotel was full. TV also did not work in room- just added to the disappointment. I had to ask the staff to replenish the coffee- it just seemed like they did not care. Overall- did not sleep well- small rooms…. But they do have beautiful landscaping and the room was clean.

Wymann was so sweet! He was so kind and make check in amazing . Not only was he friendly but he made sure all my needs were met. Can’t wait to return!

Booked here for a few nights based on location and price. Its definitely a younger, hipper feel. Rooms were very small but comfortable besides no chair, desk, etc. Bed was comfy. Shower was good size with decent pressure. Great ocean views. Where this property excels is common space. The entire roof is common space plus another large pool deck area. Plus another patio and the large lobby. I would stay again, if needed.

We had a great experience. This hotel felt like a Miami hotel - from the decor to the location, to the amenities, this hotel had pretty much everything. All the staff we encountered were very attentive and helpful and took great care of us.

We received "free appetizer" and "free margarita" coupons at check-in. It was disappointing to see the fine print required us to spend at least $30 in order to receive these. In all honesty, it's why we didn't go to the bar and just went elsewhere.

The Serena restaurant was good and the staff there were lovely.

That I paid for breakfast to be included. It was a joke! Bottles of juice, some fruit and small muffins. The breakfast was approx another 16 dollars per day for each of my 5 in our party. The receptionist fobbed me off blaming booking.com and that I should take it up with them. Our rooms were not near each other, party goers loud outside the room in the early hours and our bedroom and bathroom was the size of a matchbox. We had to take our cases outside the room to pack them!
