Short stay I'm pleased.. carpets and bathroom need updating. I stayed 2 year ago . Nothing has changed . But 2 years dirtie carpets and bath room

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Our room was extremely comfortable. There was plenty of parking, and the location was easy to find.

The exceptionally loud Saturday night party in the room upstairs, but after speaking to the lady at the desk, it didn't happen again. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay there - oh, and our dogs loved it too!

From start to finish. Had lunch before i checked in and the staff were great and so helpful and friendly. The breakfast was phenomenal as well and so relaxed. The check in was quick and easy. The room exceeded my expectations as it was large with wifi so strong in the room. Kettle, iron and ironing board was a massive advantage. The bed was so comfy. Had a few beers that evening and again the staff were so polite and friendly. It is far and few between going to Nottingham but rest assured whenever i do this will certainly be my go to place. Thank you for a comfortable warm entertaining stay.

Just need a bit of maintenance. A dented wall mounted electric heater are cheap and easy to replace. The finer points make the difference.

They were aware that we a family of four with two young children but we were allocated a room in the top floor

Breakfast is decent, has some good options on the menu. Quiet, comfortable room and location. The adjoining pub/restaurant is a good place for dinner, too.

Inconsistent cleaning during stay; almost every day something was forgotten, whether replacing only some towels, or not replacing some dishes or supplies for tea and coffee.

Convenient location, onsite pub which is convenient for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Friendly and helpful staff.

Some days prices are exceedingly high but usually it is good value for money

A bit of noise from neighbouring rooms but this soon died down , we passed a quiet night.

Breakfast Staff were excellent but breakfast was mediocre, cold! The hot drinks were not hot ! The coffee was terrible!

The location within Hucknall is good and the lodge has plenty of parking spaces outside, the bowman pub serves good food and drinks and the staff at the lodge and pub are really friendly and helpful. The rooms have everything you need and the one I stayed in was spacious. Can’t complain for the price I paid, the value for money was good.

The pub next door to the hotel is a huge bonus as the food and drinks are good quality. The room is spacious and comfortable and the shower was very powerful. Lots of towels to use as well

A couple of finishes are starting to look a little tired but only in very small areas. This is a very good place to stay.

No disabled wet room. Bathroom very small.

Breakfast no idea if they serve it, it wasn’t sold to me as they did but probably wouldn’t have taken it but worthy noting. Also didn’t like the multiple rat boxes in the court yard fortunately didn’t see any.

We stayed 1 night prior to attending a family wedding close by. The night we arrived we visited a local pub quiz nearby. The rooms had everything we needed, They were clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly. Thisis a Greene King Pub so thre is a bar and food available and breakfast was plentiful served in the bar/restuarant. Met everything we needed and made for a relaxing time getting ready to attend the event. Perfect for our needs

Can't think of anything that negatively impacted on our stay. This was a one night stay and evrything we expected and needed was catered for.

Room was very hot, although windows did open and a s.mall fan was available.

Rooms are in a separate secure building to the pub. The room was spotless and the king sized bed was extremely comfortable.

Waited ten minutes for reception staff in the morning…..I gave up in the end and requested an invoice via email which they did that morning.

Breakfast in the pub... Not good value in teems of the full english was £4 more than the kids breakfast but it was exactly the same size except the full english had a mushroom. Was small portions for an adult.

The room was clean and spacious, we only stayed 1 night, but the bed was very comfortable, and the young man on the night shift front desk was very friendly and helpful. we paid to have the breakfast which was excellent, in choice and value.

Excellent hotel we have stayed here many times and it is always excellent with great staff and very comfortable accommodation and an added bonus is the restaurant adjacent the food went a bit downhill last year but it has now improved we will definitely book again when we are next in the area.

Dirty run down, restaurant poor couldn’t cook scrambled eggs without a microwave.

Finding the room of tobacco smells, and the smoke detector was missing??? but we were moved to another room.

Rooms were spacious, clean, and perfect for out needs! Really reasonably priced, too! Friendly and welcoming staff. Added bonus of a 20% discount for guests when buying food in the pub...and the food was really good!

The room however in this weather, aircon would be a bonus.

Staff are too busy. Had to ring to have someone come to the recption. As there was a queue of us waiting to check in and still it took agaes for someone to come.

Took 15 mins for someone to turn up at reception when booking in. Bar closed 30mins early to what it said online open close times. Checked out at 9am, asked at reception if we had to book a breakfast or just walk over, she said we could walk in, packed car then went to bar for some food waited again 5 mins for someone to show up and they said they stopped serving breakfast at 9am!! That is crazy even mcdonalds is at least 11am!!! Also they have signal blocker in rooms so you cannot use your phones!!! Nice Cheep room, dont expect ANYTHING els.

The only thing is no Aircon which I am glad we are not there this week but the receptionist gave us a large fan which really helped

Loved how quiet / peaceful it was as it wasn't near the pub it was around the back! Staff all super lovely, friendly and helpful! It was just such a good little stay and we both had a great time!

The only thing that bothered us was in our room where the single bed was under the window, there was a night light/security light right outside of the window which did let a lot of light in and was very bright!! Unfortunately we were not able to turn it off as it was a security light but we were offered a cover but don't think that would have helped

The Saturday night party at the green king pub opposite our room. This went on untill 11:30 and was noisy with people dancing outside with the pub doors wide open.

Reception was absent when I arrived and the call button didn't work. Had to remind them to put shower gel in the room.

I had room service on the first night I stayed and they bought my dessert half way through as I was eating my dinner so the dessert was nearly cold when I got to eat it,they would not have done this had I been in the restaurant so don't know why they did it when I had it in my room.

The location was get for us. Was easy to get to and the restaurant was well priced with good food

Had to press the call button for the receptionist to come and after 20 mins I went looking for them. Four out the buzzer was broken. The reception was maned all the time
