great location and has a lot of parking. Breakfast is not an option but there is a great cafe close by that is open from 8am with a good value breakfast. The room was exactly as pictured, everything was clean.

Some of the fixtures were a bit worn and need repaired/replaced. The single room (as advertised) was up a lot of narrow steps, so bear this in mind if you have mobility issues.

Friendly staff and large family room which suited our 2 night stay. Quiet at night. Extra tea was provided when asked. Fridge in the room.

Beds were a bit lumpy. No info inside room about the area or nearest shop etc.

Excellent quality and value for the price. Large safe free car parking big comfortable room with a brand-new bathroom and lots of clean fresh fluffy towels that’s a lovely historic house perhaps Edwardian with tons of original features such as the gorgeous wood interiors and staircase and hallway glass windows, and not too far to walk to town highly recommended and the receptionist was incredibly friendly and professional and helpful. I kindly offered to look after our laptops and let us drop our bags off early so we could go and enjoy the day in Nottingham.

All surprisingly good for the price! Couldn’t fault it.

Very spacious and quite tidy.

Maintenance needs to be done for the entrance, grounds, walk ways and car park. There was also a weird smell in the apartment - like damp carpets. It was very clean though. Seemed to be short staffed at check-in as I waited for a while at reception which was unmanned. Had also tried my luck at early check in and the staff (different) on duty at the time was quite dismissive and rude. Overall, there’s a lot potential.

Maybe the room was a bit plain. Mattresses could be better as you can feel the springs. But still it's a really nice place and pleased we went there.

Overall, the hotel's décor was pleasant and simple, making the best of the building's beautiful bones. Reception is open until midnight & there is off-street parking directly in front of the hotel.

In a fantastic location, rooms were immaculate and incredibly spacious. Really excellent value for money.

Some parts of hotel were slightly dated, but appreciated that the rooms were beautifully modern. Wouldn’t say it was a negative though.

I didn't expect to be staying in an annexe building, and I did not like the fact the bathroom was separated by a hall/landing. Bedroom had heavy fire door which made it awkward using the WC during the night. The bedroom was in a roof space and this was very warm during the daytime - there was no air conditioning in the room - other than a floor fan. Bed was comfortable but a standard double size (at least it felt like it).

The room was clean and comfortable. Ample storage for clothes, etc. Nice bathroom and shower cubicle.

It was really warm in the room. The windows did not open very far, and there was no breeze. It would have been nice to have a fan in the room.

Parking on site is great. The room I stayed in (double) was a great size, it had a fan in the wardrobe which was great during the heat wave! And the room was very clean, including ensuite. The lady on reception was also lovely. Also fantastic price for a week day stay.

We took the last space on the car park, so if there weren't any spaces left, I'm not sure where people would park? Also, would be good to have a mat in bathroom as floor can get slippy. I had to use my towel after use.

My room was set up in a very odd manner, separate from hotel the bedroom and bathroom separate with a store cupboard in between. The hotel is very old fashioned, my room was like a 70's Swedish sauna all pine.

The bathroom was clean but the bedding wasn’t the best. It needed a good hoover throughout the hotel. The bed was uncomfortable but it was only for 1 night, so we managed.

It wasn’t clean, the carpets were particularly old and dirty. The exterior was in poor condition e.g. empty wine bottles in the car park and an abandoned car. It was cheap but standards were below what I typically expect. The bed was very poor and uncomfortable and clearly passed its use by date.

I had a wonderful one-night stay here. The room and bathroom were both surprisingly spacious and spotlessly clean. A huge thanks to the receptionist, who was incredibly polite and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again!

I had a really great stay at this hotel. The rooms were extremely clean and honestly exceeded my expectations. Even though it was very hot outside and there was no AC, the room still stayed cool and comfortable enough to sleep well. The staff members were all so friendly and welcoming, and both the room and bathroom were very spacious. Every morning, the cleaning staff would politely knock on the door to ask if we needed anything cleaned or if we wanted extra coffee, which was such a thoughtful touch. The hotel was also incredibly quiet — no noise, no disturbance from other guests, just a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!
