La vue et l accès direct à la lagune Les canoë en accès libre pour se balader sur la lagune Le ponton avec les hamac L isolement du logement au bout du village de Buenavista et au bout d une piste en cailloux pleine d ornières… difficile d accès donc tranquille ! C est un avantage ou un inconvénient selon chacun…

Cuisine avec aucune possibilité de cuire : seulement une mini casserole fonctionnelle pour un logement 6 personnes : impossible de préparer un repas alors qu il y a une plaque induction 4 feux et une cuisine équipée tout à fait utilisable : quel dommage de ne pas mettre 2 poêle 2 casseroles grandes et adaptées à l induction c est simple! Le manque d intimité : la terrasse et la maison sont face à la lagune mais la pelouse devant la maison et le bâtiment juste à côté sont communs au gérant et aux autres locataires donc pas possible de manger, prendre l apéro, bronzer se baigner… en toute intimité ! Logement très sale et mal entretenu : sol douche cuisine mal nettoyés et tous les tiroirs et robinets en très mauvais état pas ou peu fonctionnels à cause de la corrosion et de l humidité. Ponton condamné sur la partie haute car mal entretenu avec marches qui s écroulent

Le site est incroyable ! On ne peut pas rêver mieux. C’est idyllique. Pas simple de le trouver. Pour y accéder, nous traversons Buenavista et le contraste entre le logement et le leur est saisissant.

Le logement bien que typique et joli n’était pas très propre; surtout la cuisine, ses tiroirs cassés et sales avec des miettes, les poêles sales … les équipements oxydés avec l’humidité. Un bon nettoyage serait nécessaire.

El lugar es precioso y el personal súper atento. Las instalaciones son cómodas.

Recomiendo mejorar la limpieza, aunque cuando señalamos que no estaba bien limpio, se esforzaron por mejorar. El lugar es bastante aislado, pero hay comida para pedir y el personal se encarga de entregarla en tu mesa. Es para un turismo muy tranquilo y aislado, si eso buscas el lugar es perfecto.

La robinetterie est à revoir, ainsi que les ustensiles dans la cuisine. Il est difficile de faire la cuisine sur la cuisinière.

The location is exceptional. You are completely isolated and private. The host Cesar is lovely and so accomdating.

It's isolated so you need a car.

Caesar is a great host. Warm & friendly. The property sits right on the lake. It’s a beautiful property, accommodations are basic. The road is very Rocky but only for a block or two.

We were denied access to the waterfront villa we had booked and paid for due to their being no electricity. Was traveling with friend who spoke Spanish and tried to translate with staff. Was shown a different unit but wasn't what we wanted or advertised so we said no problem we will book different accomodation assuming we would obviously be refunded. Only to receive a extremely unhelpful and rude response from the property owners where they just outright lied to us about the electricity. In summary far better options closer to Bacalar. No fault of their staff just the owners are exploitave people so I would be very cautious to pay them in advance as if anything goes wrong they will take advantage of you.

Staff is not helpful to tell the exact location of dining place. And did not give wifi password when checkin. There is no signal over there. Need to walk outside to pickup signal to call customer service, Tons of mosquitos. Onsite manager room is empty, i cant find anyone. The customer service person in the phone is not helpful at all. After 30 mins call back and forth, and end up giving wrong passwords made me whole night a nightmare. The road leading there is so bumpy and slopy, if you drive a sedan, it will touch the bottom. Completely a mess. Strongly suggest booking to delist it.

The property is misrepresented for the cost. One villa smelled of sewage causing a guest to switch rooms, a toilet bidet was broken and made a horrific noise all night long causing three guests to be up all night. The air conditioning was broken in another room the entire stay and remained broken our entire stay.

Family who looking after property was so so welcoming. Lady showed all amenities, where to get fresh artisan bred( can beat fresh baked bread). Local people are very friendly. Place its a gem. Views to die for. Lake to swim and so peaceful. Colourful birds and beautiful nature sounds. Lady/ family who looks after property so welcoming and friendly made feel very comfortable and and without her would be not the same. Big thank you to them .

Hotel tranquilo y seguro, muy bien ubicado a la orilla de la Laguna Bacakar, con excelentes vistas, cómodas instalaciones y personal amable. Ampliamente recomendable.

- amazing view (directly at the waterfront, nice garden!) - nicer then the pictures! - everything was really clean - on the Lagoon front property, the accommodation is the only overnight building, so we had the garden and the waterfront mostly for our self's (there is another shared (?) building with a kitchen next to the accommodation, which has no sleeping room and was not in use, when we where there) - the water in the Lagoon was really clear and colorful. - you can use kayaks and SUPs for free We can definitely recommend staying in this accommodation!

Un hotel que NO recomiendo, si vas a ir tendrás que llevar una camioneta 4x4 de lo contrario no tendrás forma de salir en esa calle, además lee bien estás a 29 km de Bacalar, en la zona de este establecimiento NO hay nada en la redonda, las personas que te reciben son buenas personas sin embargo no tienen voz ni voto, solo son cuidadores que viven a un lado de las villas, la segunda noche no hubo electricidad en la propiedad, por lo que no teníamos aire acondicionado y forma de cargar el celular, la noche fue extremadamente calurosa y no hubo forma de dormir, en ese momento contacte ayuda de hoteles.com pero no la hubo y hoy en día sigue sin haberla ya que mi reserva fue por medio de ellos, en fin un establecimiento que NO recomiendo, sin embargo Bacalar si fue un lugar hermoso que sin duda regresaremos. El lugar está increíble, las instalaciones bien, solo que los colores de la laguna no son los ideales. La cabaña se encuentra a media hr del pueblo por lo que si no llevas vehículo no puedes moverte diario, es un lugar para descansar y solo quedarte ahi...la TV no sirvió ninguno de los dias

Nicely located a few meters form the lagoon, thus priority with wood cabins is comfy, but it lacks any kind of food service.

La atención del encargado fue muy buena, pero esta a 30 minutos de bacalar no es tan practico si tu intención es pasarla en bacalar, para llegar al lugar si esta pésimo.. no es para todos los vehículos.. la laguna queda cruzando las cabañas..

Beware! The only property access is a STEEP 200 metre cowpath over tree roots would be dangerous in rain. There were no clear signs Had to drive on that to go back to Bacalar, 25 km. away. Or room was in a building across from the gated facilities on the beach. We were not allowed to use the beach chairs, kayaks etc. Nor was there any breakfast or coffee available for purchase. The person that let is us in did not explain the access to the beach facilities. Nor did she offer contact info in case we needed something. I think the offering on Expedia has to be re written to clarify what is being offered.

The property is beautiful and Zenaida gave us a charming welcome. It’s a great place to stay and for sure we will return to spend a quiet and restful time there. The only thing you need to consider is to bring something to eat and drink for lunch or to have dinner. The nearest restaurant is in Bacalar (25 minutes away from the place).

Todo muy bonito muy cómodo a 20 min del Pueblo de Bacalar pero en general todo muy bien .

El lugar es bonito pero las habitaciones no dan a la laguna, se tiene que cruzar una calle para estar en la laguna. El acceso es imposible para auto, debes rentar camioneta, es escarpado y pedregoso. José es sumamente agradable, hace de la estancia algo soportable. Los moscos son impensables, es imposible pasear aún con el repelente puesto. No recomendaría el lugar.

At first when we arrived we loved the remote nature of the location. However there are no restaurants or services in the village and there is not even a coffee maker in the room. We were ok with making the most of the rustic retreat until we woke up in the morning to the most unpleasant sewer smell in our room. The remote manager said it would be fixed but the site manager never followed up with us to say that there was a specific remedy. We got the impression that it was a reoccurring event. Additionally this might be an ok rental as a whole property but as an individual room you will end up next to potentially noisy neighbors with a paper thin wall between you. Additionally when we wanted to leave in the morning we found we couldn’t as the large gate was locked. Disappointed because the location on the lake is nice.

La limpieza de la cabaña, como del jardín y lugares comunes excelente. Cabe mencionar que no hacen aseo durante los días de la estancia, ese sería otro plus. Y cuidar que en los baños haya jabón de manos.

Me parece un lugar mágico todo Bacalar, el hotel es bueno, el club y el muelle junto a la laguna es lo mejor, no cuenta con restaurante pero tiene una muy buena recomendación de un chef internacional. Es totalmente necesario llegar en auto, creo que el camino final para llegar al hotel podrían mejorarlo. La comodidad para descansar es buena aunque se puede mejorar, Y la limpieza puede mejorar ya que nunca fueron a hacer el aseo en mis 3 noches de estancia.
