the room condition was bad, some doors are broken and the villa is not well prepared before my arrival. Have to request to change another villa which they did for us which i appreciated it

Проживали в вилле, в которой стоял запах канализации, на замечания персонал принёс аромасвечку! Номера не первой свежести, из ванных принадлежностей только ватные палочки и зубные щетки. Завтраки скудные, выбирать особо не из чего!

Очень скудный и не вкусный шведский стол на завтрак, который был включен в стоимость номера! Номер старый и неуютный! Персонал весь замученный, медлительный, не хватает хорошего менеджера по персоналу и администратора!

The location is good. The staffs are friendly and responsive.

The quality of breakfast is not good as our expectation for a 5 star Hotel. The beach chairs are not in good quality and not as many as for the capacity of the Hotel. The drains in the bathroom need to be odor well controlled.

Несмотря на то, что по каким-то причинам Заказанный пентхауз оказался занят на момент нашего приезда, персонал Отеля вышел из ситуации достойно: было предоставлено 2 номера на вилле с личной гостинной и бассейном, а так же оплачено новогоднее шоу на всю семью (около 400 долларов). Освободившийся пентхауз превзошел все ожидания: просторно, отличные номера, 2 ванных, 3 туалета, огромная гостиная, личный бассейн с видом на морские закаты - 10 баллов из 10!!! Далее: отзывчивый персонал, реагирующий на любые пожелания, отличные завтраки, бесплатный трансфер в аэропорт! ОЧень вкусные блюда в ресторане по ценам ниже, чем за пределами отеля, несколько бассейнов, прекрасный морской пляж!!!

Очень трудно раздобыть свежие кокосы: только с утра в баре при бассейне, в ресторане и баре при отеле не удалось заказать свежий кокос ни разу :(

Great villas and amazing facilities but they are not available for full enjoyment

The service at the restaurant is shocking. We waited 45 min for the meal 2 after meal 1 has come out. They were both main courses. But 1 person received his 45 min later than the other. The other downside was that the kids slides would only open for an hour each day and you can never guess which hour. The pool bar and the pool would shut at around 9 so you basically have nothing to do at the hotel after 9 pm. The bar inside the hotel is also shut after dark. The location is far away from all the attractions, shops and eateries

Бронировали 3х комнатные апартаменты, когда к ним приехали, они сказали-сори, у нас сбой, не можем вас заселить в ваш номер, можем предложить 2 комнаты в 4х спальной вилле, где вы будете жить с другими людьми, но доплатите нам еще 100$ 🤦🏽‍♀️ Благо, мы нашли, куда уехать, в самый пик сезона, где все занято. Это точно не отель 5⭐️. На ресепшен познакомились с людьми, они бронировали через туроператора виллу, но заселили из только на 3 день. Шаражка, а не отель)

그랩 불러서 마트갔다가 짐만 놓고 바로 남부 가는걸로 되어있는데 짐 놓고 나오니까 차가 없길래 저 밑에 주차해놔져있어서 의아해햇는데 타자마자 그랩기사가 사진처럼 저렇게 번역기 돌려줌. 호텔 나올때마다 그랩? 하시는데 자기네들이 부르는거 있다고 저렴하다고 그랬는데 우린 현금이 부족해서 이용 안 했었음 근데 내가 부른 그랩 기사한테 저 밑으로 가라고 자기네 손님 채가는거냐고 뭐라 그러면서 쫓아냈다함. 손님한테만 친절한거같음. 체크인 타임에 갔는데 에어컨 문제가 있다고 좀 더 기다려달라길래 마침 점심시간이라 다녀옴. 방이 3갠데 문이 아쉬웠음 각 방마다 잠구는 문이 되는게 있고 안되는게 있음. 수영장 너무 좋은데 밤에 벌레 너무 많이 꼬여서 매번 청소 요청 해야함. 그리고 수영장 바닥 타일이 좀 까끌해서 발바닥 살짝 아팠음. 하우스키퍼 오셨을때 1시에 나갈거라 1시에 와달라니까 12시30분에 와서 몇시에 와야되냐고 묻길래 1시라고 또 말하니까 안 좋은 표정으로 나감. 젊은 여자 2명이였는데 괜히 기분 안 좋아짐. 각 방마다 발코니 있음 흡연 해도 된다했는데 따로 재떨이 없다니까 컵으로 만들어서 하라고 함; 하수구뚜껑 뒤집어져있는데 그거 홈이 잇길래 거기다 했는데 안 치워줘서 그냥 직접 매일 치움. 2층이 식탁있는곳인데 아직 안 먹은 컵라면 납뒀는데 청소할때 치우심.

Location, quick to go up north to Vinwonders/Safari and down to sunset town. Nearby Sonasea walking street 5mins away with plenty of massage shops, restaurants and nail salons.

No aircon in lobby and lounge. Pillows were flat.

Our room was beautiful, we stayed in a 1 bedroom with private pool. Amazing view of the beach, private pool is always shaded with clean water. The staff was always very helpful and friendly. The interior of the hotel was really nice. They did have a great children's play good for children upto the age of 7. The location is a 15 minute drive to sunset town & 20 minute drive to grand world. The main town is a 10 minute drive and all the local shops are a 5 minute walk. Most local shops only come alive after 5pm. The breakfast was great (open 6am-10am)

I'm not sure if September is out of season but the grounds were in need of maintenance, the children's slide area was closed the whole time so ask ahead of booking if it's open. The beach wasn't very clean or attended to. Although the staff was very friendly and helpful English is very limited everywhere, other than the front desk staff. The bed was hard something that is common all over Asia. Laundry was 75% more expensive than the outside business we used that picked up and delivered in 4 hours.

Pas de couvert, pas de verre

We had a wonderful stay at the resort. The Villa was big and beautiful, the pools and the beaches were very nice, the restaurant has a delicious food, and all the staff members were professional and friendly especially Duyen :)

Disappointing Stay – Not Recommended This was my third hotel stay in Phu Quoc, and sadly, it turned out to be the worst experience so far. The room was dirty, with lizard droppings on the floor and surfaces — a clear sign of poor housekeeping and substandard cleanliness. To add to the frustration, there was no iron or ironing board in the room. Instead, you're forced to pay for their laundry service just to have your clothes pressed. The in-room phone was broken, which meant I had to go down to reception every time I needed assistance — a major inconvenience. The hotel was also extremely noisy and dusty due to ongoing renovations, making it hard to relax. Despite advertising itself as a 5-star property, the actual experience was far from it. If you're planning a trip to Phu Quoc, I strongly recommend exploring other accommodations — there are definitely better options available.

it did not feel like a private villa, you don't have a main entrance door that you could close and lock, so all the rooms tiered off the entrance hall have to be kept closed and locked.. also the private pool can be seen from other villas..

The beachfront location provides an ideal setting for a truly relaxing rest on the shore. The nighttime views are distinctly memorable, particularly due to the squid fishing activity off the coast. The ocean is illuminated in a manner reminiscent of a meticulously decorated Christmas tree.

Ah, the main pool was closed for maintenance — because nothing says "relaxing vacation" like the sound of power tools. As a bonus, I woke up one morning to a delightful snowfall of paint flakes drifting down from the exterior work above my balcony. Truly magical. The property has definitely seen better days — and I imagine those days were quite some time ago.

Private Pool

We booked 4 bedrooms villa but actually it's 4 different individual units in one block with a share common room and all open to a common open air corridor. It would be fine for a group of friends but as we travel as a family group it does not feel comfortable for us to move from room to rooms. Kitchen as bare, devoid all utensils, cups, plates etc.

The living area had a fridge and sink but no utensils at all which I thought odd. The living area renovation hadn't been finished on the wall which looked odd. There was a TV in each room but we couldn't watch local television on any of them. We did ask about the TV in the living area but the staff couldn't figure out how to make it work either and we could only look at stuff on you tube after my husband connected it to his phone. The food was geared to the Asian clientele so it may have been 5 star for them perhaps but not what I'm familiar with at all so my food choices were limited for buffet breakfast. My conclusion was it was to be expected I supposed for the price we paid as it was cheap.

Very value for money, price point can't be beaten for a '5-star' resort in Phu Quoc. Staff were friendly and assisted within their scope. We booked a 3 bedroom penthouse pool apartment but was upgraded to a 3 bedroom villa as they overbooked our original room type. Overall, we enjoyed our stay given the price we paid. However, if you're expecting a steal on a 5-star resort, you will be disappointed.

However, it ends there. It felt rough around the edges for both hard and soft product. Property is ageing and it shows, even the electric kettle provided in the room is on an adaptor and it smoked when plugged in. Villa is a standalone 2-storey building with separate rooms with individual card access, not what is expected of a usual villa layout. More like 3 rooms + a living in a standalone structure. There is no locked door that combines all the spaces. Private pool looked like it had dust or specks in it. Living room has no plates, no tissues, not even soap in the w/c - not what we expect of a hotel listed as 5-star. If Sofitel Bali is an impeccable 4-star hotel, this would be an underwhelming 4 star hotel or a large 3 star hotel at most, but I guess that's not how the star grading system works. I hope get my drift though. Beach isn't a private beach, there is a public road segregating where the hotel pool boundary is and the beach. Walk to Sonasea night market where Best Western is, is a good 10-minute walk. Breakfast options are decent but rather boring. Staff are friendly, but does not go above and beyond.

Felt like the place needed to be updated a bit, a bit outdated, gym very average, I feel like the photos when you book need to be updated as the gym was definitely not like the pictures, we booked a villa and there was just a few things not exactly right, we didn’t get any pool chairs but when we asked we were given them, the pool was also quite dirty, they also decided to do maintenance in the garden and pool on our second last day and final day, which was very annoying as we couldn’t use the pool then. Also find it very odd that in the villa there’s an area to cook, but there’s no pots, pans, cutlery, even just drinking glasses or cups in the kitchen. We just felt that maybe they forgot to put some bits in the room, however we still had a very nice stay, just a few things were missing.

Great hotel with an amazing beach and swimming pools, the staff were very kind and the breakfast had plenty of variety. We were in the penthouse with the pool and the room was incredible with two floors and a great pool to refresh from the heat, the views were breathtaking. The hotel is located in a resort area but there are many restaurants closely and a small night market. Other places in the island were easily accessible by taxi. Free ride to the airport provided.

The hotel was fantastic, it could do with a bit of TLC in the room but it was perfect for our final days in Vietnam.

Breakfast is ok. The room I had was very spacious and comfortable. Excellent value for money. Very friendly and helpful staff. This was my second stay here.

At breakfast would be great if you had plain yoghurt (without sugar), simple oatmeal or muesli and plant based milk.

The hotel exceeded expectations with its beautiful amazing garden and sea view from the balcony. Location is perfect. Room was spacious and very clean and it had tea&coffee facilities. Breakfast was excellent as well,with good variety of really delicious choices. The reception staff were incredibly friendly and helpful especially Mr&Ms : Minh Duc , Mimi , Thu , Duyen and Bao . I can’t wait to come back in few days again!

There is nothing really that close, it really needs some love, pool bar closed. What would say is everything I mean everything at the hotel is sooooo expensive. To be honest it’s ridiculous how much everything cost. The hotel just doesn’t have a good vibe, not many people around the hotel during the day, would say a ghost town.

The staffs are nice and helpful. The food is taste good.

The swimming pool is closed at 18:30, it seems a little bit early.

Great breakfast, great rooms, good AC. The bathroom is very nice too. The bar service is for a good price and serves nice cocktails. Nice walkway to the beach. Great view on the sea from the balcony. Beautiful lobby.

Slow internet. The beach has trash around. Wall and wallpaper are breaking off, marks of time and usage. A bit far from everything, you have to take a taxi, no shops around.

We liked the breakfast, the beds were very comfortable and the sunsets were amazing from the beach. House keeping always did a great job and reception was very helpful.

We stayed in a 4 bedroom villa, not knowing that the rooms were all there own apartment withing a complex that consisted of 4 apartments and a living area, all these rooms needing to be accessed via there own key (5 seperate keys). For some groups this might work, but we were a family and we didn't like having to be locked out of each other's rooms and didn't feel safe having all our kids in seperate apartments. The rooms could do with some maintenance. All our showers would over flow and I looks like some water damage to the walls. There was not a lot to do around the area. Not many bars or restaurants to choose from and the beach was littered with rubbish and sea worms making it not a very attractive place to visit, also not much else to do on the beach hospitality wise. We did need to taxi out to places which is fine but would of been nice to have stayed local

Some staff, finish was poor quality, rooms had potential to be amazing but were far from amazing. Such a shame. No pool bar or pool restaurant as advertised, pool toilets were absolutely vile. Never towels at the pool, had to waste time walking back to reception to get.

Almost everything is good at the hotel. Nice and very big room good with a/c, fridge, 2 big bedrooms with each shower and bathtubs. Very nice hotet, great pools and nice beach. Not to many people like at the other 5 stars hotels nearby that were way to crowded.

Maybe need food/drink service at the beach. But the other 5-stars hotels had such but then again the food and drinks there were way to pricy! Worst thing at this hotel was the gym. Really needs an upgrade with new plates for a start and maybe a service on the a/c too!

Private pool water was too cold for swim for whole time. So havent use it. Penthouse, There are no stair railings, and the stairs are uncomfortable because they don't have anti-slip stickers. There were a lot of trash and peanut bones under the bed At the first meeting, the employee pointed to all the items in the mini bar and repeated many times that this is not free, this is not free, but he did not give any information such as what time the breakfast is, where to leave the laundry.

Breakfast buffet was good, bed and pillow were super comfortable, staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the resort overall was in a good location and easily accessible to the beach which was great. Rom was very cool and comfortable and the private pool was fantastic. Late check out is great.

The shower did not drain properly and we could hear water dripping for an hour and a half. Construction happening right next door was very loud (we understand that it out of the resort’s control). We requested pick up from the airport but the driver was not there and we ended up having to take a grab (drive to the airport after checkout was arranged so that’s ok)

Hotel is in good overall condition and breakfast is good

They advertise a pool with a bar, which is part of why we booked the hotel but the bar is closed down. It's frustrating as the hotel advertises this in their pictures. If you at any of the pools you cannot order any drinks or food. If you do want something you have to walk into the main hotel and go to the restaurant, this is uncomfortable as you are swimming by the pool and keep having to dry off and go inside. It's not practical. Ontop of that we always waited around 45min for 2 cocktails everytime we ordered. Once again not comfortable and practical. You can't have pools and the beach so far from the main hotel without any way to service your guests. Beach area is terrible. Cleaning service the staff are very friendly but our room was never cleaned properly and some days not cleaned at all with no fresh towels. Lack of English from the staff also a major problem. Location is not good, hotel isnt to far away from city centre but it's isolated where their is nothing around it. Room service food was inconsistent, burnt my pizza to a point where it was impossible to eat. The gym is absolutely shocking, equipment is terrible. 2 treadmills and they both old and broken. They should not be advertising that they have gym facilities. The spa is a bit over priced but we wanted to enjoy it but both my wife and I had terrible massages. We asked if we could get a later checkout as our flight was at 6, we were charged 50% of the room rate. In the end the hotel stay does not align with what the hotel advertise it offers. It's not practical and enjoyable for the guests.

The location was great. The rooms are comfortable and the stuff always friendly and available to help.

The balconies don’t have any chairs or seating area which makes it quite uncomfortable. The showers are missing something to hold the shampoos and body shower gel. You have to place them on the floor.

We had a penthouse suite with private pool. The kitchen had zero items in it. No cups, glasses etc. no cleaning cloth, no cushions for lounge chairs. Not art on the walls. Pool bars weren’t staffed, no real food options outside of breakfast. Front desk staff were polite, but not helpful.
