Beautiful home, very comfortable and great views

Unique house on top of the hill with magnificent view from its numerous terraces. The host Cosmin generously opened his house for guests, providing not only bedroom with private spacious bathroom, but also a living room with tv and access to well equipped kitchen with delicious coffee. A heaven on earth, quiet at night where you can relax and enjoy but also a good place to explore the eastern part of the island.

Die Unterkunft war großartig; alles sieht aus, wie auf den Bildern und es ist super sauber. Cosmin ist ein großartiger Gastgeber, der sich unglaublich viel Mühe gibt, damit die Gäste sich wohl fühlen. Die Terrasse ist zudem sensationell. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt und kommen gerne wieder! Danke, Cosmin!

Es gibt absolut nichts zu bemängeln.

Even way before arriving we had a very good feeling about this. Cosmin was very helpful via text. When finally arriving quite late he welcomed us warmly and we felt right at home. The kitchen was well equipped, we had a nice dining area outside and the view at the common area outside was great. They also left a binder with recommendations and Cosmin advised us when we were unsure what to do. He was also very pleasant to chat to. Overall the stay really was a 10 out of 10.

Loved the cleanliness, quality of linens, the local treats, the friendliness of the host, and the view.

Absolutamente todo. Instalaciones, vistas, ubicación.. y sobre todo el trato de Cosmin, disponible en todo momento. Da consejos, es resolutivo y sobre todo respetuoso con el huésped.

Je hebt je eigen ruimtes en een geweldig uitzicht! De bedden zijn goed en de ruime badkamer was ook heel fijn. We hadden een dag slecht weer waardoor we gebruik konden maken van de fijne woonkamer met enorme tv. Heerlijk! Komen zeker weer terug hier.

Fantastisk sted. Smukt indrettet hus, vi havde hele overetagen for os selv med et skønt værelse med en god seng, flot badeværelse med kar, fjernsynsstue, egen balkon med udsigt og adgang til køkken nedenunder, med den skønneste store terrasse og en meget smuk udsigt, hvor vi kunne nyde vores mad. Alt var perfekt rent og indbydende, og vi blev taget så godt i mod af værterne, som var så søde og hjælpsomme. Vi vil helt sikkert komme tilbage til dette vidunderlige sted, og kan varmt anbefale det.

Vi manglede intet.

Durch Zufall habe ich dieses Juwel entdeckt und kann es uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Gäbe es 11 Punkte, ich hätte sie gegeben. Das Interieur-Design ist 100% wie in den Bildern. Die Ferienwohnung war auch rein technisch vollständig: Waschmaschine, Trockner, Toaster, super Gasherd, Kühlschrank mit großem Gefrierschrank, stillistisch passendes und einheitliches Geschirr, viele und neue Kochutensilien, Föhn, Shampoo und so weiter. Die Küche lädt zu großem Essen ein (was ich leider nicht nutzte). Mit Luftentfeuchter, Klimaanlage und einem kleinen Heizaggregat bekam man auch die nassesten Wandersachen wieder trocken. Das große, strahlend weiß bezogene Bett war sehr bequem. Die Ferienwohnung hatte eine eigene Terrasse. Alternativ konnte man auch die Gemeinschaftsterrasse mit der schönen Aussicht nutzen - zum Beispiel um das bereitgestellte kalte Bier oder den Rotwein abends zu genießen. Eine nette Geste: bei Ankunft war alles da, was man zum Frühstück oder für den Feierabend braucht: Brot, Butter, Marmelade, Käse - alles hygenisch verpackt! Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und antwortete auf kurze WhatsApp-Anfragen sofort. Ich hatte die Wohnung im Souterrain mit eigenem Parkplatz, durch die Hanglage auch schöner Aussicht und eigenem Eingang. Die Wohnung hatte ein eigenes liebevoll eingerichtetes Badezimmer - Zugang vom Treppenhaus direkt vor der Wohnungstüre störte nicht, da im Souterrain keine andere Wohnung oder sonst irgendetwas war. Insgesamt wirkt das Haus wie aus dem Ei gepellt. Povoacao ist groß genug für Supermärkte und Restaurants und dennoch vergleichsweise ruhig und entspannt für einen erholsamen Urlaub. Hier möchte man länger bleiben!

Es gibt wirklich gar nichts negatives zu berichten.

Diese Unterkunft könnte nicht besser sein. Komfort, Lage und Ausstattung lassen keine Wünsche offen. Herausragend aber ist der Gastgeber Cosmin. In seiner herzlichen, hilfsbereiten und großzügigen Art schenkt er seinen Gästen keine Unterkunft, sondern ein Zuhause. Vielen, vielen Dank.

Cosmin is an absolutely amazing host, who welcomed us so kindly here. We instantly felt comfortable and at home, which we needed badly, as we were exhausted from previous days. Our room had everything we could ever need. The view is a cherry on top that made this place an instant 10 for us. I look forward to be back here!

We couldn’t have stayed at a better place! The house was gorgeous, up on a hill overlooking the ocean and the village. Cosmin was an excellent host, so warm and welcoming. He left us a bottle of wine and some goodies! The town was quaint and a short very hilly walk if you didn’t want to drive in to town. I would highly recommend Vista Do Topo and we plan on going back someday!!

From the moment I received the most memorable welcome I've ever received from a host, I knew why all the rave reviews. Cosmim goes out of his way to make you feel at home. His kindness, courtesy, and respect are second to none. The most comfortable bed I think I've ever slept in, glorious views and beautiful furniture make this place a wonderful experience. Everything I could hope for was there, and if not, Cosmim supplied it forthwith. Absolute dream location for views.

Work needed doing, and I'm afraid the noisy builders spoilt for me, what could have been an exceptional experience. It's just a shame it needed doing the whole time I was there.

Cosmin is such an excellent host. His home is beyond clean, and he goes out of his way to make sure your stay is exceptional. The view is unbelievable. I cannot Vista do Topo enough.

Everything at this stay was just perfect. The host is really dedicated and helpful. The location is absolutely breathtaking. The area is peaceful and quiet, it is good to relax from the city in this environment. Morning coffee with view from Cosmins terrace is worth every penny. You can really fell like home during your stay. In the house there is well equipped kitchen, the bedrooms are comfy and bathrooms are really clean. The host is prepared for every Azores weather conditions- during the bad one you can use Netflix chill room. ♥️

I loved the welcoming feeling I got the minute I arrived. Cosmin was friendly and so kind! The beautiful antique furniture reminded me of home. I had the apartment with a fully stocked kitchen and washer and dryer. I cooked and even baked cookies I bought frozen at the local market. The location is walking distance to the town of Povoacao. I slept 10 hours the first two nights here. The bed and pillows were so comfy. I give ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ to this wonderful place and I plan to come back! I wish I’d booked my whole two weeks here. There’s so many places to go and see on this side of the island. Cosmin made a book with all the attractions and a big map to show you where they are! He was so helpful. I had a car and I was able to park here. The sunsets off the terrace were the best! I also did yoga on the terrace in the morning. Fabulous and relaxing! I really felt comfortable here as a solo traveller. 💚💚

Diese Unterkunft war super. Sie hat unserer Erwartungen deutlich übertroffen. Der Hausherr war extrem zuvorkommend und nett. Die Ausstattung war beispielhaft. Nette Goodies wie Käse und Butter und Milch im Kühlschrank. Eine Grundausstattung Knabberzeug und eine Flasche Guter Wein. Wenn wie wieder mal in die Gegend kommen, dann garantiert hierher.

Wonderfull place with a stunning vista. The apartment is very well equipped and tastefully furnished. It is at the ground floor of the house and has exterior space. Cosmin is a very kind and thoughtfull person. I do recommend this very quite and clean place.

Ein tolles Haus mit einer zwar ungewöhnlichen Einrichtung, aber alles sehr hochwertig und total sauber. Ein toller, freundlicher und sehr aufmerksamer Gastgeber. Wir hatten die Wohnung im Erdgeschoss und es war alles vorhanden. Nachdem wir länger dort waren, haben wir auch die Waschmaschine benutzt. Alles sehr hochwertig. Man hat eine super Aussicht und es ist sehr schon ruhig. Erholung pur. Wir würden wieder kommen.

Es hat uns alles gefallen. Man muss nur wissen, dass es fussläufig in die Ortschaft Povoação steil runter geht und dann eben wieder steil rauf. Da ist 1 km schon viel. Wir hatten ein Auto und in der Ortschaft gibt es auch einen Taxistand.

Die Aussicht war fantastisch. Auch der Gastgeber ist eine extrem herzlicher und aufmerksame Person mit der man sich gerne auf den Balkon bei einem Glas Wein trifft. Es war alles und mehr zur Verfügung gestellt, was man brauchte. So zum Beispiel in große Packung Kekse und eine ganze Flasche Wein. Die Kommunikation lief reibungslos und sehr schnell ab.

Ich kann mich wirklich über nichts beschweren. Dies war bis jetzt meine liebste Unterkunft in der ich je war.

Párját ritkítja a vendéglátónk, Cosmin kedvessége, figyelmessége. A szállás nyugodt és csodálatos környezetben van, a fővárostól kb. 1 óra autóútra, Furnas pedig 20 perc. Tiszta, tökéletes felszereltségű apartmant kaptunk, meglepetésként sok helyi finomsággal. Tökéletes választás volt!

Very cozy, very clean

This was an amazing stay in a beautiful home. We loved the quiet mornings on the balcony, overlooking the hills and sea. The inside of the house was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. Our host, Cosmin, made us coffee every morning. He was the perfect balance of present when we needed him and giving us space to enjoy our stay. We were so sad to leave this wonderful place and hope to be back!

Wszystko nam się podobało. Wolę bardziej współczesne neutralne wnętrza, mniej eklektyczne, ale każdy ma prawo do swojego gustu. Z wielką przyjemnością tam wrócimy.

Mein Flug hatte Verspätung und ich bin erst nachts im -Vista do Topo- angekommen, wo Cosmin extra auf mich gewartet und mich herzlich empfangen hat. Das Haus ist sehr schön, die Lage sehr gut, die Inneneinrichtung außergewöhnlich und alles ist super sauber. Ich hatte ein Zimmer mit Balkon und eigenem Bad. Die Küche, die auch die Gäste aus dem anderen Zimmer benutzen dürfen, ist groß und perfekt ausgestattet. Ich habe den Aufenthalt bei Cosmin im Vista do Topo sehr genossen. Wenn ich von meinen Ausflügen zurückkam, war es wie nach Hause kommen.

Our host, Cosmin, was very friendly and always willing to help. The wonderful view of the sea and the mountains from our apartment. The birds chirping in the morning and sometimes the whole day. Our stay there was great.

Due to sightseeing and visiting the island we had very little time to enjoy all the comfort that the house had for us. Will make a plan to return one day and enjoy more time at the house.

What a beautiful place. I don’t think I’ve ever been in a place so large yet still homey, and with such a spectacular view and excellent host. The room was very comfortable, the bathroom was spacious and clean, and there was really nothing I could have wanted for the entire time. Cosmin was very easy to communicate with and very responsive & accommodating to my loose timeline of when I may check in that day. Also REALLY appreciated a good hairdryer- the travels ones don’t have the kick once you convert the voltage. Was nice not to spend my whole vacation waiting for my hair to dry lol

Superbe, propre et calme. Il y avait tout le nécessaire pour y passer quelques jours, incluant un accès à la cuisine, le lit était confortable et l’accès à trois terrasses permettait de passer du temps à l’extérieur et de profiter des beaux paysages. Il n’y a rien autour mais la ville la plus proche est à 5 minutes de voiture et c’est un endroit stratégique pour visiter la partie est de l’ile. L’hôte, Cosmin, était très accueillant, très gentil et proactif pour répondre aux moindres besoins. C’est clairement un endroit où nous aimerions retourner.

Il n’y a rien à améliorer, puisque tout était parfait. J’aimerais seulement préciser que c’est un endroit à l’extérieur de l’action. Les routes autour sont sinueuses et rendent les déplacements un peu plus longs. Donc si on recherche la tranquillité c’est l’endroit idéal pour s’y déposer quelques jours. Si on veut être très près des attractions touristiques, vaut mieux choisir une autre ville.

We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful house. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the views are stunning. Everything was of extremely high quality (furnishings, linen, bed, pillows, towels). It really was an amazing property, probably our best stay in the last 10 years on Booking.

Great view with a terrace, our own apartment with a kitchen with all the facilities we needed. A bedroom with a gigantic and super comfortable bed. Easy access to the nordeast side of the island. We got some local goodies to try and some basics like coffee, tea, milk, soap etc. Cosmin is the best host!

This area is a little humid so we felt that inside the apartment. Luckily Cosmin provided heating and a dehumidifier that really helped. The apartment is a little old fashioned in terms of furniture and very full but we liked this atmosphere and it made us feel at home.

This place is stunning, and Cosmin is a wonderful host. The room was beautiful, the views were incredible and I wish I could have stayed longer. Cosmin was so friendly, we had coffee in the mornings and he drove me down to the taxi stand in the village when it was time to go. I will certainly stay here again when I return to São Miguel!

We had the most wonderful stay in the Azores, and much of it was thanks to our incredible host Cosmin. From the very beginning, his responsiveness and warm, engaging communication gave us a glimpse of what to expect—even before we met in person. His desire to make our stay as comfortable as possible, offering thoughtful advice and recommendations, helped us navigate this beautiful island. It felt like we were not just staying somewhere, but making a wonderful friend who added depth and joy to our trip. On the practical side, we had the entire first level to ourselves, complete with a private entrance, an outdoor terrace, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom, and a cozy bedroom. Everything was impeccably clean, comfortable, and uniquely beautiful. And the views from the terrace were simply stunning. I couldn't stop taking pictures... Our stay in Vista do Topo was truly unforgettable, and we are so grateful for the warmth and hospitality we experienced.

One of the best stays I had in all my travels. My room was beautiful and very clean with spectacular views from the terrace. Next to the room was my own private bathroom , very spacious with all the necessary toiletries made available , and an extra room which was a complete surprise with gorgeous decors ,a large sofa and a huge TV with Netflix available . The host, Cosmin ,was very accommodating , kind and very knowledgeable about attractions in the area , trails , restaurants, shops etc. and he was always available during my stay for any questions I had. I will definitely return and stay in this magical place.

Super séjour chez nos hôtes Cosmin, qui font tout pour notre satisfaction. Accueil avec produits locaux à déguster, documentation touristique, conseils. La chambre est très luxueuse, on peut profiter du vaste salon avec télévision écran géant, la salle de bain est magnifique. Vue superbe sur la baie de Povoação. Mais plus que tout, c'est la gentillesse et l'amabilité de nos hôtes qui rendent le séjour idéal. Je recommande particulièrement !

Every once in awhile, we find an incredibly kind human as our host whom makes us feel as if we have finally arrived...HOME! When you are full time travelers for 7 years now after losing our home to a California wildfire, and living a very nomadic lifestyle, you can’t imagine what this feels like. How this fills one’s heart. How this makes us feel complete, if only for a few days. But it’s something that our souls need and our souls crave. We need these special connections to reset, rejuvenate and to continue on our journey called life! And these connections often come at the most unexpected times! I had booked a couple weeks of stays on São Miguel for my husband and I, but had not found anything for the first four days of our arrival on the island. I know, that sounds backwards but that’s how I roll! What an absolute treat to have discovered and booked ‘Vista do Topa’ by reading the awesome reviews and having the pleasure of meeting our host Cosmin (and his fabulous partner Cosmin which I fondly named simply #1 & #2!). As soon as we arrived, I felt like we were coming home to family. Cosmin is so welcoming, friendly and kind. He takes so much pride in his commitment as a host. We noticed immediately that the entire place was impeccably clean. And neat. With a level of decorating you would find in an Architectural Digest Magazine. Cosmin showed us to our room - but I use the word ‘room’ lightly as it was an entire suite. A beautifully decorated ‘pink’ room, our own private bathroom with large tub (and plentiful hot water) along with double sinks. Our suite included our own living room with comfortable sofas and a very big Smart TV television. Both our bedroom and our living room each had private balconies. We were able to do our morning yoga in the sunshine outside. Our room included a welcome basket with local wine, treats, a map and an entire well out together folder of island facts and information.

Unser Aufenthalt war einfach perfekt. Cosmin & Cosmin haben uns sehr liebevoll in ihrem tollem zu Hause willkommen geheißen. Der Kühlschrank war bereits mit einigen regionalen Köstlichkeiten gefüllt. Die beiden sind so herzlich und waren jederzeit erreichbar, da sie im gleichen Haus wohnen. Wir waren auch in ihrem Bereich jederzeit willkommen und durften ihre private Terrasse benutzen. Sie haben uns sehr viele tolle Tips für Ausflüge und Must Sees gegeben. Das Haus ist sehr beeindruckend und toll eingerichtet. Im Apartment wurde wirklich an alles gedacht. Die Lage ist toll, sehr ruhig und mit einem grandiosen Ausblick. Absolute Weiterempfehlung!! ☺️

Everything was just sooo good! Most friendly hosts every, Cosmin & Cosmin are the best! The beds are very comfortable and very spatious. The bathroom and room were very clean. The view was just outterworldly, just no words.

The house was amazing but not as much as its owners. We had an amazing experience. We really enjoyed the beauty of the house and the views. The place was extremely comfortable and clean. We loved talking with the owners and they gave us really nice recommendations to do on the island. We highly recommend choosing this place!

Meine Partnerin und ich haben uns während unserer Zeit auf São Miguel hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus hat eine sehr gute Lage, eine wunderschöne Aussicht und sehr viel Charme. Wir sind im unterem Appartement untergekommen und waren mit allem sehr zufrieden. Es war sehr sauber, schön eingerichtet und super ausgestattet, besonders die Küche. Egal was wir während der 13 Tage gebraucht haben, wir haben es dort vorgefunden. Auch die Kommunikation mit Gastgeber Cosmin war von Anfang bis Ende einfach nur perfekt. Cosmin war jederzeit erreichbar, hat immer seine Hilfe angeboten und sich nach unserem Wohlergehen erkundigt. Er ist zusammengefasst ein sehr angenehmer, super freundlicher und aufmerksamer Gastgeber, dem es sehr am Herzen liegt, dass seine Gäste eine gute Zeit bei ihm haben. Auch Povoação als Ort kann ich nur empfehlen. Dort gibt es alles was man benötigt. Wir können Vista do Topo also nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen. La casa è splendida e Cosmin è un host davvero cordiale ed ospitale che saprà darvi ottimi consigli per la visita dell'isola. Camera grande e spaziosa con un terrazzino esclusivo. Parcheggion disponibile sotto casa. Avremmo voluto fermarci una settimana!

La experiencia en Vista do Topo ha sido realmente agradable. Cosmin ha sido un anfitrión de 10, ofreciéndonos todas las facilidades posibles y aportando información sobre todo lo que necesites. La casa es fantástica, con habitaciones amplias, estancias limpias y unas vistas espectaculares, con varias terrazas que te permiten disfrutar de dichas vistas. Recomiendo este alojamiento y volveremos si es posible!

Cosmin, the owner is one of the most welcoming hosts I've ever met. His place has really special style and vibes. The room was comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped, the view from the balconies is stunning, even the bathroom was amazing. This partnof the island is less touristic and if you go tonthe west upon arrivel, then it is logistically perfect. If we ever return to Sao Miguel, we'll defenetely visit Cosmin again.

Vistas. Tranquilidad. Amabilidad de Cosmin.

Supervriendelijke host. Goede locatie. Zeer rustig en stil. Zeer netjes allemaal.

Niets. Misschien wat warm 's nachts doordat er geen airco is, maar is stil genoeg om met ruit open te slapen (heeft een vliegenraam) dus geen probleem voor ons.

Todo. El apartamento era amplio. Cocina muy bien equipada. Con una terraza con vistas impresionantes. La atención de Cosmin. La ubicación para visitar el este de São Miguel. ( Si quieres visitar toda la isla, puede quedar a desmano para la parte de Sete Cidades). Parking al pié del apartamento.

Der Aufenthalt bei Vista do Topo war fabelhaft. Die Gastgeber haben sich sehr gut um uns gekümmert und versucht all unsere Wünsche zu verwirklichen. Die Tipps und die Informationen bezüglich der Insel von denen kamen uns sehr gelegen. So konnten wir vieles unternehmen und bekamen viele Insider Tipps. Auch die Zeit in der Unterkunft die wir gemeinsam verbracht haben, war sehr schön. Es herrschte einfach eine sehr schöne Gast-Gastgeber Atmosphäre. Die Aussicht von der Unterkunft ist einfach fabelhaft, jeden Morgen beim Kaffeetrinken auf dem Balkon die Aussicht genießen zu können war traumhaft. Die Ausstattung im klassischen Stil ist einzigartig und man fühlt sich wie in einem Schloss. Man hatte alles was man brauchte und es hat einem nichts gefehlt. Es ist eine klare Empfehlung der nichts gegenzusteuern ist, das nächste mal verbringe ich garantiert hier. Vielen Dank für alles!

We where traveling around the islands for 2 weeks when we booked our apartment at Vista do Topo. Without a doubt the best place we found in those 2 weeks. Very clean and large apartment, with the most friendly host you can imagine. The first day we forgot to buy some cooking oil at the supermarket but Cosmin went all the way down to buy it for us. The view from the terrace is really amazing! If you are looking for a quiet place to relax, this is it.

Belle maison avec une magnifique vue, chambre spacieuse, lit très confortable et grand. Cuisine bien équipée, produits régionaux offerts par les propriétaires, aussi qu'une bonne bouteille de vin. Propriétaire sur place, accueillent et très disponible pour des conseils touristiques. Recommandé à 100 %

We had a very nice stay with Cosmin. He was very responsive and accommodating. The house is very peaceful and quiet. We really enjoyed this place and had a good rest. We definitely will come again.

We were guests of Cosmin and his amazing place. It was really cozy, comfy and nice there. We are travelling a lot but this place was one of our favourite! The whole house was prepared and clean. It's calm and quiet there ,so you can take a rest after exploration around. Balcony gave us opportunity to eat breakfasts outside and start each day with fresh air. Our host is friendly, very helpfull and open minded. He helped us a lot always when we needed some kind of support. We will always recommend Him and his place and when we are back on the island for sure we will visit Him again. Thank You one more time ! We wish You all best and are hope to see You soon :)

This is a gorgeous home with amazing sea and mountain views. The room was very clean and comfortable. The best part of my stay was the owner Cosmin. He is so kind and helpful with tips about places to see and where to eat. I will definitely stay here any time I come to the Azores.
