We loved this place. Super clean. Big room with a really good shower. There is a ceiling fan and airconditioner and refridgerator. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The place had a homely feel. The accommodation is a little hidden, not up the super steep hill, but along side it. We will definitely come back here and stay longer. Walking distance to town.

Wifi in the room could have been better, however it was great reception in the main dining area.

Friendly staff, location, very clean & big room.

Honestly so glad I stumbled on Misty Elegance for my stay in Ella. Couldn't have picked a better spot! The location is a total 10/10, sitting just a 5-minute stroll from the central market where all the cool cafes and night action are. It was a complete game-changer since I didn't need to rent a scooter or hail a single tuk-tuk the entire time. On top of that, the host and the whole team were super friendly, welcoming, and constantly going out of their way to make sure everything was smooth. They were so thoughtful that they even helped us cook fresh food for our small baby, which made our stay completely stress-free. The rooms themselves were squeaky clean, super comfortable, and ridiculously good value for money. If you're heading to Ella, definitely book this place! I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

La stradina x arrivare alla casa era un pò stretta, noi avevamo 1 van grande e abbiamo preferito fare 100m a piedi. La struttura è carina ed accogliente. Anche sufficientemente pulita. Ci siamo trovate bene

We had a lovely three days staying at Misty Elegance. The rooms are well appointed and ours had a fridge. It is a short walk from the main part of town which meant that it was quiet at night. Walkable from the train station.....takes just over 5 minutes.

Beautiful place, conveniently located right in Ella but on a quiet road. The rooms are very comfortable and bright and clean. The place is accessible by car, just need to be a good driver but we managed fine. The staff are so lovely and helpful and helped us get our car started when it wouldn’t start.

The windows don’t close completely so I was a little scared of mosquitoes but it ended up fine.

We stayed for 2 nights and we loved every minute! Rooms are spacious, bed was very comfortable and the balcony had really nice . Staff Always greeted us with the biggest smile and helped us with everything! Such an amazing staff from the house keepers to the managers everyone was so so lovely! Highly recommended,

Very beautiful place and clean rooms. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom is clean, you can even shower in hot water! WiFi works great, there is no AC but a fan on the ceiling (this is fine, climate in Ella is fairly mild compared to other places in Sri Lanka). The staff is friendly, they offered a laundry service and even neatly folded all our clothing. Down the street is a welllness-spa as well as an amazing cooking school! It’s only 5 minutes to the main streets with all the restaurants, but still very quiet and calm. Ella railway station is also only 5 minutes away. The owner offered Tuk Tuk transfer to us (but his price was higher than Uber prices, so we didn’t take it). The balcony is a shared balcony and connects to the stairs.

Linga was an exceptional host, he provided me with incredible recommendations and helped me resolve all queries during my stay. The property is in a quiet area a short walk from Main Street, comfortable and clean.

The hot water wasn’t working for me but it wasn’t the end of the world!

Ubytovani je na kopci bez vyhledu. Dale od stredu mesta, coz jsme chteli. V ubytovani je vse, co k pobytu potrebujete.

Ponekud dlouho hledali ve 3 moji rezervaci, ale vse dobre dopadlo.

A few minutes easy walk to town, but far enough out to be peaceful. Lovely host who even cleaned our Tuk Tuk for us. Always wanting to help with anything they can.

Location was amazing and surprisingly very quiet considering it’s such a short walk to the Main Street. On the walk home there is a supermarket which is an added bonus as you can pick up essentials easily. The room was big, very clean and had a really big balcony with chairs and a table. The staff were beyond helpful and friendly and went above and beyond. This is definitely the place to stay if visiting Ella. Highly recommend this place.

We had a really pleasant stay at Misty Elegance. The room was clean, comfortable, and nicely prepared for us. The beds were cozy. The staff were kind, welcoming, and always willing to help. The location was convenient and made it easy to explore the area. Overall, it was great value for money and a perfect stay.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr gut gelegen. Zudem sind die Zimmer großzügig geschnitten.

Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass das Zimmer keine Klimaanlage hat. Zwar verfügt das Zimmer über einen Ventilator an der Decke, allerdings ist es dennoch sehr warm.

The Hotel is in a quiet part of Ella. The room was nice, big and clean. The Fan was working well. It had hot water. I did sleep really well. Breakfast was good. Linga was very helpful trying to help where he could and organising local transport. They did my laundry and it was clean. However it didnt smell so nice.

It would have been great if they could give more hiking advices instead of Tuktuk tours

Shower was not very good with limited hot water and a few power outages during our stay.

מקום מומלץ, הייתה לנו חוויה מעולה!! חדר מרווח ונקי, יש מים חמים בשפע כל הזמן! הנוף מהמרפסת ירוק ומרגיע, קיבלנו אפילו שדרוג לקומה עליונה. קבלת פנים הכי חמה שראינו, עם שתייה חמה ועוגיות, כנ״ל בעזיבה. הגענו מאוחר אז אכלנו במקום ארוחת ערב, דאגו לנו למרות השעה. למחרת ביקשנו גם ארוחת בוקר, בסיסית וטובה במרפסת מול הנוף. המארח ממש עוזר, נתן הרבה עצות טובות, ולקח אותנו ליום טיול ב Bluefield tea plantation ובמפל מטורף Ramboda. יכולנו לעשות את זה גם בלעדיו, אבל הנסיעה איתו נוחה יותר, הוא הסביר דברים לאורך הדרך, עצר לתמונות במקומות יפים וחיכה לנו בכל עצירה כמה שרצינו, כולל ארוחת צהריים.

היה נחמד אם היה בחדר חימום, בייחוד בלילה. בכל מקרה קיבלנו שמיכה נוספת ומפנקת והסתדרנו. יש המון מה לעשות מסביב למלון, אבל אם רוצים להגיע למרכז העיר צריך לקחת טוקטוק קצר. לדעתנו זה שווה מאוד את השקט והנוף, אבל קחו בחשבון. תודה רבה על הכל!!!

Great location, only 5 minutes walk from the town center. Very quiet and peaceful, I enjoyed listening to the birds and wildlife in the mornings. The staff are super friendly and could not do more to accommodate us. They arranged a full day Rick saw tour for us with a quick phone call. Highly recommended if you want a budget friendly, clean hotel close to the town.

The workers were very kind and everything was very clean. The location is good cause it’s 5 min walk to the center. I only stayed one night but we were very comfortable.

Die ruhige Lage war gut. Das Zentrum ist fußläufig auch wenn man hier anmerken sollte, dass der 7min Weg nicht eben verläuft.

Wir hatten eines der unteren Zimmern. Dieses war muffig und feucht mit wenig Licht. Das Bad hat nach Kanalisation gerochen. Obwohll wir 4 Nächte gebucht hatten, wurde wenig vom Personal an Freundlichkeit/Hilfsbereitschaft geboten. Vor allem der Chef war uns unsympathisch. Obere Zimmern sind vermutlich besser, wurden uns aber nicht mehr angeboten. Ausblick hat die Unterkunft nicht wirklich. Das Frühstück war akzeptabel, jedoch ohne Abwechslung und Auswahl. Wobei man wohl zwischen Classic Western und Kontinental wählen könnte. Wurde uns aber erst am letzten Abend gesagt.

Floors in the room was bright yellow and marked, Rugs by the bed looked stained and dirty. The hot water and water pressure was horrible.

We don’t like writing bad reviews as normally search for the good but felt a bit let down by the quality of our stay for the price. - The bedsheets were not white sheets like pictured, but instead cartoon covered covers. - The bathroom smelt so bad if you didn’t close the door, the whole room would smell. - The floor was in poor condition and some dirty mats were placed on top of the damaged parts. We actually moved the mats as they were so dirty we did not want to be stepping on them. - There was mould on the ceiling. We know it’s wet when it rains but this isn’t good to sleep with. Felt more like a home stay with hotel price.

Super clean and secure… very peaceful, despite being only a few mins walk from Ella centre and train station. Great location for exploring waterfalls, tea plantations, scenic train ride. Highly, highly recommended…

La struttura ha sicuramente un ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Ha acqua calda, si trova a 6 minuti di cammino dal centro ed é sulla collina, quindi fuori dal rumore della strada principale

In bagno c’era un odore terribile, era davvero difficile anche solamente fare la doccia. La stanza non é sicuramente dei metri quadri proposti ma era comunque abbastanza ampia

Very hard access especially if you are coming via large vehicle like a van. For those coming in large vehicles - ask Kuma to pick you up near the police station from his tuk tuks (as this is part of the service and he didn’t tell us). We didn’t and our van driver had difficulty accessing the property.

Very friendly, spacious and clean. Huge bedrooms. Lovely location away from the centre of Ella. They have their own tuk tuk driver offering special rates. Good breakfast available with lovely fresh fruit.

Henkilökunta oli mahtava, he olivat kaikki todella ystävällisiä ja auttoivat meitä poikkeuksellisen paljon kaikessa, missä apua tarvitsimme. Kaikki toimi loistavasti ja he olivat erittäin joustavia. Huoneet olivat siistit ja sijainti todella hyvä lähellä pääkatua.
