Very helpful staff and good breakfast. Easy check in and checkout. 24 hour access and comfortable. Great location and facilities. Easy to find with good rooms and super clean throughout.

Electrical sockets were not suitable. One socket behind the mini bar that you had to change over for the kettle , hairdryer etc. Mirror too far away from socket aswell. Bar didn't open until 3 .

Disgustingly filthy. In a 3 days/4 nights stay it has never ever been cleanded once. The towels were not changed, beds were not made. Ande God knows when was it last vacuumed. Maybe last year. We asked repeatedly for the cleaning, but the stuff was very open about it - they don't have enogh people to clean regulary. I would even go as far to say that they don't have the means, also.

Breakfast was lovely, good breakfast menu to choose from.

Well deconrated hotel with very helpful and kind staff. Room was small but well-formed, clean, and comfortable. Had AC but I didn't use it, was warm enough without heating despite 10° at night. Breakfast was £10 and tasty, with good gluten free options. Was able to leave my suitcase at reception after checking out without an issue.

There was no nightstand next to the bed - appreciated the plugs but there was nowhere to put things like phone, glasses, water!

Great atmosphere! It was a bit different from what I usually go for, I tend to prefer bright spaces, minimalist decor, and lots of natural light. But I have to admit, I didn’t totally dislike this darker atmosphere. It had a really cool, relaxed vibe. Additionally, it was very close to the center, many restaurants around the dock, which is around 10 min away on foot, didn’t need to take a bus to go anywhere, around 20min from the station. Many convenience stores and cafes were close by.

The place was somehow smaller than I expected from the photos, and unfortunately, it wasn’t the cleanest hotel I’ve stayed at. The choice of black for the walls, doors, and furniture makes fingerprints and marks particularly noticeable, so keeping these surfaces spotless is quite important. Some of the door handles also felt a bit greasy, and the breakfast tables were not always thoroughly cleaned. Overall, I think a little more attention to cleanliness and regular maintenance would make a noticeable difference.

The sensor light didn't come on soon enough when walking up the stairs in the dark. Clean rooms but did spot missed bits. Doors banging, think other guests don't think about others.

Breakfast was lovely and the staff were attentive.

Never slept in a bed with a mattress quite so soft or so thin. You sat on it and it hurt your back it was so thin, you went through to the base. Very dark room and it really smelled odd. Laundry detergent on the bedding was over-powering.

The location is good for visiting Liverpool and the surrounding areas. The staff are friendly and helpful. But be aware that your room is not automatically cleaned if you stay more than one night. This means towels are not changed, the bed not made and more importantly the bins not emptied even in warm weather. When I voiced concerns I was told it could be cleaned but this wasn’t usual. We are paying over £100 a night and booked four nights. Their cleaning policy is not advertised anywhere. We won’t book again.

Easy staff

We were going to love lane brewery and therefore the location was great! The decor in the rooms was fun.

Didn’t feel like the room was very spacious, shower was very small, and with a shower curtain which wasn’t great! Was expecting a little more for the price of the room!

broken catch on window staff moved us without drama. Catch let noise in from outside my wifes lite sleeper so we asked them to take a look.

The property was so cool and quirky! The staff were so lovely and we had a really enjoyable stay. Would definitely book to stay here again! Love how it’s so close to the centre but not close enough so it’s loud. Loved the aircon in the rooms too.

Our toilet seat broke during our stay and we were told it would be fixed but it wasn’t, didn’t affect our stay though!

Very quirky little hotel. The staff were fantastic, super helpful and so friendly. A great size room which was very clean and comfortable. The hotel was located in a great spot, close enough to walk into the city or Albert Docks yet far enough away to be nice and quiet. I had my 5 year old grandson with me and he walked everywhere. Great value for money, would highly recommend.

We love the hotel and have stayed three times now in different rooms and every room has its own uniqueness’s about them.

I think in the room we were last in I prefer the sink in the bathroom but it did not upset me.

Posizione ottima per spostarsi in centro, sia a piedi che con i mezzi pubblici. Staff accogliente e zona abbastanza tranquilla.

L'unica cosa negativa è la finestra della camera al primo piano poiché, essendo molto bassa, la stanza non è troppo illuminata.

Lovely spacious room and stylish decor we loved the bathroom and the air con unit was needed in this warm weather we had a lovely and comfortable stay.

Stayed for 2 nights, the staff was lovely! They were very helpful and polite. We were also walking distance from the city centre, around a 15-20 min. walk.

Unfortunately the state of the room was a bit dissapointing. The carpets in the room looked dirty, the bathroom was dirty, toilet seat seemed like it wasn't cleaned, the black sink looked like it still had toothpaste marks in it. The tv remote also had a build up of dirt inbetween the buttons.

The location was brilliant, we could walk to everything. The hotel is modern and arty with bright decor, it was very comfortable.

We liked everything, bathroom could have been bigger but how long do you spend in there? It was a lovely shower!

The bed was probably the most comfortable I've ever slept in.

Some street noise can be heard on the late Saturday nights but that is just minor.

Have stayed a few times and feels like it hasn't been updated in years. Brown marks all over curtains, paint has chips over it, patched up ceiling, burn marks over carpet and missing bedside table.

Everything we needed was there, provided with care and attention to detail. It worked well and looked great. As a pair in our 60s, we were worried that it was a bit young for us: in other words that the other guests or the surrounding area would be noisy at night. But it was a calm and peaceful haven, despite its punk and indie decor.

Everything was amazing at the Baltic hotel. Location was so central to everything. Staff were exceptional and beyond helpful.

Team were great; the room we booked was apparently too small for my wife's mobility scooter & the host swapped it over before we even knew it was an issue.

The room could have used a little TLC, a little crack in the sink or some of the filling between the tiles wasn't looking the best. But genuinely minor niggles.

This was my 6th stay at The Baltic Hotel. I wouldn't stay anywhere else. The hotel is lovely and just the right level of quirky. There is also a car park very close by.

Staff make a hotel, and they were exceptional, v friendly, helpful and made us very welcome. Hotel very comfortable clean and breakfast very good. Pity the bar was closed for our visit, but staff recommended a very nice bar very close to hotel.

Quirky, funky and cool, this place has a great vibe. The beds was very comfortable and the room was air conditioned, clean and well equipped. My daughter and I slept great!! Parking was easy, and the location is brilliant, with easy access to a host of bars and cool places… what’s more there is a fantastic yoga studio, Yogacita, literally next door, which I took advantage of. By far the best thing about the property, and what sold it initially was the staff, whom I found to be exceptionally accommodating. I was allocated an early check in, which was greatly appreciated after working a night shift, and all the staff I met and spoke to were ace…genuinely warm and friendly. One lovely chap even ran down the street after me after I accidentally left behind my drinks bottle. I genuinely felt welcome and I would return without a moments hesitation. Nothing… if you wanted to be picky there was a bit of a stain on the carpet on the stair way, which I noticed in someone else’s review. But honestly, the room was brilliant, the location is fab and the staff are phenomenal. For the price this place is unbeatable, and far more enchanting than a soulless Travelodge. Don’t let some of the negative reviews put you off.. the place is a gem

Great hotel! Honestly I was worried when I booked as for 2 adults and a baby it was £90 with breakfast included but it really was fantastic! Staff were extremely friendly and really made my little one feel included, room was great, very clean, aircon and heating and the cooked breakfast was beautiful. Honestly would stay here again in a second! Really great value for money!

It wasn’t very clean! The carpets need cleaning and perhaps a new hoover might be better as well as stains there were bits too. Also lots of things broken, broken blind, missing tiles on bathroom floor, pictures missing from the walls. The problem with black painted walls is that you can see all the hand prints and stains, knocks and scuffs, they stand out more. The desk could do with a light as the room was very dark. The staff were very kind and swapped our room which was much cleaner, so it’s always worth speaking to the Reception desk, as I am sure they would help to smooth over anything and make your stay comfortable

Great quirky hotel. Clean and great helpful staff

Lovely location within a short walk from the lovely restaurants in the Chinese quarter. Room was clean and i did like the decor inside. The staff for me made my visit, they were very friendly, approachable and knowledgeable of the local area. I was particularly impressed with Leanda who went out of her way to help and seemed very customer focused. All in all an excellent stay.

The location was perfectly located and convenient with a 15-18 minute walk to city Center. The check-in, checkout and interactions with Leanda was warm friendly and engaging. She went above and beyond to let our stay be welcomed and shared various locations to visit.

A few minor repairs needed to be completed in our room such as the blinds and bathroom tap but wasn’t a seal breaker.

The air conditioning was difficult to get right, there was an iron hut no ironing board.

Obwohl in einem Partyviertel gelegen relativ ruhig im Hotel, zumindest in einer der oberen Etagen. Ausstattung sonst ok.

Leider war das Zimmer nicht vollständig gereinigt. Es standen Flaschen herum, die uns nicht gehörten und auch sonst war es nicht besonders sauber. Leider funktionierten die Schließkarten immer wieder nicht, so dass diese von der Rezeption immer wieder neu freigeschaltet werden mussten.

The entire hotel staff provided exception service throughout our stay. The food was great and the location was great for the “things to do” while in Liverpool

From the moment we arrived at The Baltic Hotel, the staff could not have done any more to make our stay any better. In particular, Leanda greeted us with such warmth and went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed. Our rooms were spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the air conditioning worked perfectly. Location wise, this was perfect for us - we were attending an event at The philharmonic hall and this was about the right distance to not be too far but also so that we were based in a relatively quiet area to ensure a good nights sleep. The hotel feels like a boutique hotel with a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere. The breakfast was extra but was delicious and really well cooked and the staff in the dining area were super friendly. All in all I couldn’t recommend this hotel more highly. In terms of value, cleanliness, comfort and staff service I don’t think you could find any better.

The @thebaltichotel was an amazing place to stay. A wildly eclectic hotel with the most amazing staff during our entire stay. Their breakfast was outstanding as we tried just about every item on the menu in the 5 days. The Duck&Swagger pub out front was a great place to watch the WorldCup as well. Not very clean. Windows dirty, curtain hanging off. Kettle had water in. Quite thin walls -could hear neighbours coming and going. I think more targeted for students or groups of young people. Bathroom quite tired, leaky shower and could have been cleaner. No housekeeping. Good 3*. Hotel.

The property had air conditioning in all rooms as well as the reception which was a blessing on since a hot day. There were two bottles of water in the fridge which was a nice touch. The fridge was very quirky and had been transformed to look like an amp.

The rooms were adequate, they were a little smaller than expected. The pictures on the wall had fallen off so they were propped against the wall. The breakfast staff were not very friendly and looked stressed when dealing with us. The food itself was very greasy. I would have also expected more drinks options perhaps along with the cup of tea the offer of a breakfast juice.

We stayed here for two nights, and unfortunately our experience was very disappointing. From the moment we arrived, it was clear the room was in need of attention. The carpets were filthy, the walls desperately needed painting, and there was mould in the shower. We didn't complain straight away, but the following morning we discovered the boiler wasn't working, which meant we had to take cold showers. This was especially frustrating as we were getting ready to attend a wedding. To make matters worse, decorators wanted to paint our room while we were still staying in it. We found this completely unacceptable and very disruptive. Overall, the accommodation was not up to the standard we expected, and we wouldn't choose to stay here again.
