Meine Bewertung wäre vermutlich nicht halb so schlecht ausgefallen, hätte es sich bei dem Hotel nicht um ein „4-Sterne-Hotel“ gehandelt. Leider war die Ausstattung dafür wirklich miserabel, vor allem im Bad hat man sich nicht wirklich wohlgefühlt. Das Personal war ebenfalls nicht sonderlich freundlich.

The beds were comfy, the hotel was clean and the staff were great.

The parking information given via booking.com was for Q parks only. On arrival (having parked in a Q park) the sign behind reception advocated King's dock multistorey Carmarthen and offered a guest discount which amounted to approximately £19 for 24hrs. This would have suited us better as it was closer and the weather was awful. 🤨

The first person I tried to book in with was rude and dismissive, and lied, saying I wasn't booked in. When I moved to the second person on the desk, he found my booking straight away, realised that having driven for 4 1/2 bours I was tired and didn't appreciate the very poor attitude of the first person. He upgraded my room and made me a lovely cup of hot chocolate. He really went th eextra mile - was kind polite and helpful, which made all the difference.

When I arrived I gave my name to a female at the desk and said I had booked a room. She asked me for my name again, looked at her computer and said I wasn't booked in. I asked her how to get on the internet so I could show her my booking. She ignored me so I used my personal hotspot. I showed her the booking.com confirmation. She asked me for my first name and then said I wasn't booked in. She followed it up by saying I needed to give her the booking number, which I had shown her on the e-mail trail from the hotel. I therefore tried the other person on the desk - the man I have described above. I showed him the e-mail I had received from the Loenardo hotel, he found my booking straight away. It seems to me unfortunate that he is made to wkr with someone who is so dismissive and contemptuous of guests.

Location was excellent and staff very friendly. Breakfast was generous and well stocked. Hotel price was good value.

Tea facilities at breakfast was poor. Queing for hot water from coffee machine was tedious. Please provide small teapots and seperate hot water supply. Breakfast got cold waiting to make my own tea. Sausages were sour and felt reheated. I told member of staff. She advised she would inform the chef. 15 minutes later they were still not removed and other guests remarked they also tasted sour sausages

Great location for Liverpool Docks and shopping. Good lobby bar and restaurant.

Rooms were pretty basic and not consistent with the standard at other Leonardo hotels. The bathroom was very dated and utilitarian - they looked like something you’d expect at a hostel rather than a hotel. Beds weren’t that comfortable. Also the air conditioning wasn’t adjustable in my room.

The Hotel was in a very good position to the M&S Areana a very short walk from the door to the areana .

We found the bed was on the small side and wasn't very comfi. l woke with a stiff neck and my husband didn't sleep well in it. we we're glad it was only one night.

Request for fridge in room complied with. Very grateful. This meant we were given upgraded room. Should this not be standard now to have fridges during heatwaves at least.

For some reason we cannot fathom our room was not cleaned every day. Had to put notices on door. When room was cleaned was done to good standard. Bedside lamp not working Took 48 hrs to mend. Not enough seating in front entrance.hall. bar miserable but it could be amazing if overhauled . Sat on wet seat full of antibacterial spray!!! Breakfast pleasant. Separate area with fruit not next to cold meats would have been good.

The hotel was clean and our room was nice and quiet Bed was comfy Hotel team were lovely and the bar was open late which was great - sitting outside the hotel with a drink was nice.

the air con was really hard to figure out as the control pad seemed to be broken and so we had it blasting at full chat all night. Location to the nearest carpark isn’t really super convenient … there is a drop off around the back but it’s very short stay.

Location was excellent. Cleanliness was excellent. The staff were pleasant and efficient. The buffet breakfast was great with a good choice of food.

As an arthritis sufferer it was a little inconvenient to have to park a short way from the hotel. And although a discount was applied by the hotel the parking charge for overnight was excessive.

Room was clean and comfortable and staff were helpful. Parking is offsite but it is easy walking distance, secure and there is space at the front to load and unload luggage.

The location was good for what we needed for my 60th Birthday celebration. Some of the staff were very helpful.

The staff were rude on arrival to the 8 of us that checked in saying we had not got a booking when we clearly had a booking reference with Booking.com. The room 446 was disappointing, there was a huge stain on the carpet and only 1 toilet roll in bathroom for the three of us. The bathroom wasn't in the best condition a huge crack on the sink and a shower curtain which didn't stop the water falling on the floor.

Never stayed in a room with so many stains on the carpet! Room not particularly well cleaned on arrival- bedside table stains/ sticky from previous drinks. Would have been helpful if someone had pointed out that parking only reduced for stays of 9 hours or more- very expensive otherwise!

Great location especially for the event I was going for. Lovely staff who are helpful with directions to my room. Luggage storage is very good and made me feel like my bags were actually safe. Had a seagull come to my window multiple times which made it a unique experience I can’t complain.

The queuing was terrible! Check in was completely disorganised- queue was through the door. Complete shambles. It took us 30 minutes to get checked in. Not sure why it took so long, and why they only had one member of staff checking people in! Rooms were dated. Carpets not really that clean. We then went for breakfast morning after, oh my goodness, queue was awful, nearly all the way from restaurant to the lifts. Breakfast was ok. Took staff a long time to clean tables. The problem was not enough staff I would say.

Breakfast, plates were cold also eggs bacon and tomato all cold. We had to wait to be seated as the tables were not being cleared the staff couldn’t keep up with arrival of guests. The girl on the welcome desk kept disappearing so the queue just got longer for £288 a night we will not be staying again.

Huge stain on carpet and electrical socket at desk not working. Choice of fruit very limited at breakfast. No fresh berries or melon, no Greek yoghurt, or nuts to add to cereal. Didn’t see any honey either. Only very unhealthy fried breakfast on offer.

The location was perfect for the event we were attending. The breakfast was good, and the staff were very accommodating and took my request for two separate beds into consideration, which was important since we were traveling as two colleagues. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and were very satisfied with the hotel.

It would have been nice to have a small fridge in the room, but this wasn’t a major issue, as the hotel has a large shared fridge available at reception.

We had a lovely stay at Leonardo Hotel Liverpool. The location is fantastic and very convenient for exploring the city. Our room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it!

Schönes Zimmer im 6. Stock mit tollen Blick aufs Riesenrad, den River Mersey und das Albert Dock. Sehr nah gelegen an allen Touristenattraktionen und dem Liverpool One. Viele gute Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe.

Der Parkplatz in der Nähe (in einem Parkhaus) war trotz Reduktion durch das Hotel teuer! Das Badezimmer war leider etwas abgewohnt.

The bed was great, the staff we're great. The lobby, breakfast and lounge bar were great.

The bathroom sink filled up with water every time you turned it on. Other people staying here said the same thing about their room. The shower head is fixed, so no hose to man over. Shower was powerful enough though. The shower curtain smelled of dampness and you could see the mould. The shower curtain didn't sit in the tub (not long enough) and was a semi circle shape rail and all the water ran on the floor making the bathroom wet. The carpet in all the rooms had lots of stains.

The room was clean and fresh. Breakfast was good; however, the potatoes could be prepared differently on occasion, such as in wedges or fries instead of just grilled potatoes every day. There were no issues with the location.

The rooms and their contents, the services from the reception, and friendly people, especially the young man with curly hair – I have forgotten his name, so friendly and helpful. The way we were handled and received at the restaurant ver good and continued. Polite staff all the time, even if you meet them in the lift.

I chose the hotel with car park on booking.com but at the arrival to receptionist the gentleman asked me to park your car in next door private car park which I had to pay extra for car park, the bathroom water splashed out of bath as shower curtain was short, the bathroom fan was running 24 hours without stopping and loudly, disturbing at night sleep, the basin pedestal was semi blocked and water didn't drain properly but as we needed only one night to stay , hence didn't bother to report it but that was last time to visit Leonardos

1) El hotel está muy sucio: tiene trozos de pañuelos de papel depositados en los pasillos desde el día en el que llegué y todavía no se han limpiado en varios días. El día que me fui, todavía estaban los mismos papeles en los mismos sitios y las chicas de limpieza de habitaciones pasaban y no hacían caso. 2) En los bajos de la cama, he encontrado trozos de suciedad en la moqueta como si fuera de un vómito y es notorio que está bastante tiempo ahí sin limpiar. Además de arañazos en la puerta de entrada en la habitación. 3) El baño de la habitación está totalmente obsoleto y corresponde mas a un hotel de 1 estrella pero no a un 4 estrellas como dice la publicidad del mismo: tiene bañera de hace muchos años, lavabo con pedestal rajado en su interior, cortina de plástico para la bañera de hace 50 años, 1 sola bombilla para la iluminación que no puedes ver correctamente, desperfectos en las esquinas, etc. 4) A parte, hemos salido esta mañana 26 de Agosto de la habitación a las 8,30h y hemos vuelto a las 17,40h y para sorpresa la habitación no la han limpiado ni han hecho las camas, habiendo colocado el cartel para el aviso de limpieza de la misma esta mañana en nuestra salida. 5) No tiene canales en la TV que no sean ingleses. 6) La habitación da a un patio en el cual dan los servicios de las turbinas extractoras del restaurante y demás servicio del hotel. Es complicado coger el sueño. 7) Era un hotel de excursiones del inserso ingles y europeo. Solo habían personas mayores.

Had asked for a cot in the room, was on notes, but wasn’t there when arrived. They did rectify the situation and the receptionist was great!

Location, close to restaurants in the docks. Usually the food served in these hotels is very average.

Hotel maintenance. Fitted carpet in the room was stained in multiple areas. Furniture in the room looked old especially the doors, and bathrooms are old as well. Having said this the room was spacious as the hotel. Bfast is also very average.

There was nothing I can say that was good about our stay at the Leonardo Hotel on the 28th August.

The service from the staff on the night we arrived and the way we were treated by the duty manager and the potential risk to my son’s health. The issue was addressed the following morning by the hotel manager, but not enough. 2 family rooms booked by booking.com for the hotel. We arrived about 9.30pm on the night of our stay 28th August. We were given the keys for 2 family rooms on the 3rd floor and the 6th floor. When my son went to his room on the 6th floor there was a sign on the door. “Ozone in Use. Please do not enter. Contact Maintenance for removal”. Picture will be uploaded. He went to reception to ask to be put into another room as he did not feel safe to enter and the sign clearly advised not to enter.The receptionist said the hotel was fully booked out for the night and there was nothing he could do. My son asked to speak to the hotel manager. The duty manager then proceeded to tell my son that the room was fine to stay in and that the sign must have been forgotten to be removed. My son requested another room as he didn’t feel safe entering the room and again she refused his request saying the hotel was fully booked. She also advised that he take a refund and go to the Premier Inn for the night if he didn’t want to stay in the room. I went down to reception as my son rang me and I was also told the some information. Her attitude was disrespectful and disgraceful. It was late at night and she had no regard for the danger of the situation and for my son’s health. He was a paying guest of the hotel and was told to stay in a room that had a sign Ozone in use. She was unwilling to change his room and continued to say that the room was fit to stay in. She told us again that she was cooperating with us by offering a full refund and that the Premier Inn was across from the hotel. We told her it was late at night and that the hotels would be more expensive at this stage. At one stage she refused to talk to us and walked away.

Breakfast selection could have been better. Staff were not quick enough re stocking empty drinks dispensers and it’s about time you disposed of the awful frustrating toasters and replaced with 6 segment pop up toasters , as the slowness of the existing ones and the poor performance was very annoying and frustrating for the queues always waiting.
