1. There were no porters to help with luggages, and I had so many staff as I was traveling out of the country. On check in day, my brother had to help me out with bags. On check out day, I had to struggle on my own. 2. Breakfast is not included in the price, yet it's >2k per night. 3. When you check in and the kitchen has already closed, you can't make a request for the following morning's breakfast. I Asked if the can pack my breakfast the following morning since I will be leaving too early for the airport, I was told the kitchen stuff has closed, so the reception stuff cannot take that request. 4. The only window that's availabe, doesn't open.

Bed was so noisy. Everything i turned it woke me and my wife up. Curtain did not close properly. Had to sleep with it opened and light came through.

We were told we had to pay R50.a day for parking which is a bit silly since we are staying there so parking should be paid for. However when we left we didn't pay so I'm not sure why at check in we were told that we would have to pay.

i think its for safety purposes, but we would have loved for the windows in our room to open a bit to get some fresh air

My room had drink stains visible presumably from a previous occupant. I alerted the maintenance team that was attending to my electrical sockets and he told me he'd let housekeeping take care of it. I was going out for the day so I expected to have this attended to by the time I returned in the evening. Shockingly these markings were still there. I was veery disappointed.

Reviewed Jul 2, 2026We loved the view, the neatness and cleanliness of the room. It was spacious and clean. We loved the breakfast, especially the chef catering to our spicy tastes. The hospitality team in the restaurant were friendly and just made our morning beautiful 😍 I loved the method of communicating via wattapp to find our if our stay was pleasant. Thembakazi was warm and friendly.
When we arrived at reception, we were helped by Thembakazi who was warm and friendly. Next to her was another person on the phone and a 2 or 3 people around him, they were laughing loudly and continued to do so whilst were there. It made me feel uncomfortable at the moment because I was wondering whether they were laughing at us. But speaking in their own language, I was not able to understand. I did not think much of it afterwards. It is not a complaint but more of an observation.
