That there wasn’t a general waste bin for discard after eating no sink to wash our hands only in the toilet and aircon was too cold we couldn’t adjust the temperature

for 5 star a bit disappointing --linen torn and bedding was done very clumsy. not neat .

Lots of noise and music and partying at this hotel. Never been at such a noisy hotel, couldn't even sleep. People were drunk and knocking on our room door at 2am. Never again. Worst hotel ever.

Unnecessary delays at check in even though we arrived just after 14h00. Receptionist, like the bar area, was cold and uninviting.

This hotel is clearly lacking in maintenance, and it shows everywhere you look. The bathroom fittings were loose and felt like they could come off the wall at any moment, tiles are cracked and the shower hardly drains. The TV remote was literally held together with tape, and the TV itself is so outdated that we had to physically remove the cable just to watch anything. The carpets throughout were worn and tired. Overall, a poor experience. The property feels neglected, and basic upkeep is being ignored. I wouldn't recommend staying here until the owners invest in some serious refurbishment

Really proffesional staff with clean and comfortable stays. Next is an upgrade to the TVs please to allow streaming apps for a wider variety of entertainment while in the room.

It was our 10th anniversary, we have paid for a flower set up in the hotel and requested for a interlinked room as we have 2x kid a 3 year and a 9 year when we got to the hotel it was another 1 hour delay as they was not aware even the lady that charged me another R950 extra was not even present. Even the card key for the rooms was not working properly. We was to have a relaxed weekend in this hotel but in turn we had to drive out of the hotel to enjoy our stay. We traveled 350km from home to this experience very poor.

We required a one-night stay at the hotel. The reservations consultant too some time to understand our needs as my daughter is paraplegic. There is one accessible room in the hotel. We booked two rooms and arranged for a second bed to be added to the paraplegic room. On arrival, the bed had not been placed. It took 3hrs for this to be resolved with several phone calls between the receptionist, manager on duty, reservation consultant, our carer who was in the room, and me. I was asked to make immediate payment before the bed could be placed. When I explained that that would not be possible and that I would do it at checkout, I was asked if our carer couldn’t come and pay on our behalf. The receptionist was rude and dismissive. Our carer tried to order a meal but there was no answer at reception or room service. Eventually, she got through but since I had ordered via the manager, duplicate meals were delivered for our charge. >R500 for two fish and chips and two milkshakes. Clearly, there was no communication or common sense applied here. We arrived back at the room late that evening and settled my daughter and ourselves into bed. At 1am, both room phones rang. This time the receptionist requesting payment for the extra bed. When I explained that I was in bed, he reverted that he would need to check with his manager if I should come down and pay in my pyjamas. The accessible room is subpar. The tea preparation table is too high for a wheelchair user. The sink & towel rails are too high. There is no flush extender for the toilet. The shower is too small and the shower head rail too high for a wheelchair user to access independently. There is a small step to enter the bathroom and shower. The bathroom lacks a door so there is no privacy for the wheelchair user. The ramp from the parking lot to the entrance is obstructed if a car is parked in the disability bay. No secure guard assisted to move the massive cones placed in the disability parking bays. I had to get out and do this myself. The parking lot is poorly laid out with very tight spaces to maneuver your vehicle. The hotel has two lifts only. Both quite small. The wait to get to your floor is nothing less that 5min.
