Good location to visit Snowdonia and Northern Wales. The rooms are modern and big. The breakfast is decent with a good selection. Plenty of parking is available including some EV Chargers (please see below).

Breakfast gets really crowded and there was not enough space to accommodate everyone. Very expensive pricing for EV Charging (0.65£). Rooms could have been cleaner. Hotel is directly located next to a Hydropower station, therefore the area feels very industrial.

Lovely room, friendly and helpful staff, and a good breakfast. We also really enjoyed the gym and games room, especially the snooker and table tennis.

The use of the pool came with an additional surcharge, which was not clearly disclosed on Booking.com before making the reservation. The hotel restaurant was quite average, and unfortunately, the rooms were not cleaned to a satisfactory standard.

We, a family of three with a nine year old boy, got here after a long day of travelling from Ireland and we arrived just after seven at this hotel. At check-in we asked the reception how long the restaurants will be open and we have been told that the kitchen is open until 21:00 and we can get to desk at the entrance of the restaurant and we will get seated, also with the dog. So, quickly up to the room to leave the luggage and for a fast fresh up and down to the restaurant. The man receiving us greets us with a “we are fully booked tonight, there is no space”. His colleague at the desk asked for how many and she told him that there is a table and gave him some instructions. Again, long explanations that they are booked and it will take some time and that would have to wait and with the dog we can only stay in the bar area etc.. etc… We wait, just get us the table ready! As my wife hat sprained here knee during the previous days and was not comfortable to wait a long time standing at the bar we asked if we could order a room service. Here again, huh the kitchen is very busy there will be along waiting time and by the way, the room service finishes at eight! For gods sake, what room service is this? At this time a table gets free and the waiter reluctantly prepares the table for us, a small table with two chairs and we are three. Wife and son sit down and i wait. Just to get asked do you want a chair? Well what do you think? Just seated, guess what; again we are fully booked and it is going to take a long time! Now Well what’s a long time? 45 min at least! For what, for a bar menu with a few starters, 3 salads and 3 frozen pizzas? Just having come from Irland, where everyone would cut himself into 4 to make you stay well, here we have been persuaded to disappear and not to bother an overstrained restaurant unable to cope with the guests of the house. It is not expected that they have a place for every guest, but an organisation to serve everybody at the...

It was clean and really lovely views around. The spa was lovely and quiet.

There were no tea spoons available, we were not allowed coffee until after 11am even though we were in the spa from 9:30am. In the room the shower leaked and we only had one hand towel so no hair towel was provided.

We had a lovely short stay at Ixora Hotel, the room was modern and clean and the location was perfect to visit different areas of North Wales. A special thanks to the kitchen and resturant staff for accomodating my partner coeliac dietery requirements. Thanks to the chef, John and Claudia for the exceptional service!!

The spa is an expensive add on and we raccomend to book in advance, but the facilities are good.

Whilst the spa is very good, a hotel of this size and rating needs a pool that all guests can use, not just paying spa guests over 18.

We recently stayed at Ixora Hotel & Spa Conwy for 3 nights and had a really enjoyable experience from start to finish. The welcome on arrival was excellent and set the tone for the rest of our stay. Our room was spacious, spotless, and well equipped with a kettle and fridge. The bed was large and incredibly comfortable. One of the highlights of our stay was the staff. Everyone we met was friendly and approachable, and we enjoyed chatting with many of them throughout our visit. Their warm and welcoming attitude really added to the overall experience. We ate in the restaurant during our stay for dinner and Afternoon Tea and were very impressed. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and reasonably priced. I would recommend booking in advance as it fills up quite quickly. We also spent two hours in the Wave Garden Spa, which was wonderful. The spa access isn’t included in the room price, which we were aware of before arriving, but at £30 per person we felt it offered good value for the facilities available. It was a relaxing experience, made even better by enjoying a glass of Prosecco in the hot tub. Breakfast was fantastic on all three mornings, with plenty of hot and cold options to choose from. The waffle maker was definitely a personal favourite! We also used the gym during our stay. It’s fairly basic, but there was enough equipment available for a decent workout. During our trip we climbed Snowdon, which is only around 40 minutes away, making the hotel a great base for exploring North Wales and the surrounding attractions. Overall, we had a really good stay and would happily recommend Ixora Hotel & Spa Conwy to anyone looking for a comfortable, friendly, and well-located hotel with excellent facilities.

Scenery was beautiful, liked that you could walk round the water ( it’s a small but fair circuit ) Room definitely exceeded expectations but mattresses could have beat little more indulgent. Staff were so helpful in every aspect. Anything we asked they solved and we would absolutely stay here again

Menu could have had some choice of something other than salad that was healthy and not with chips. Like a rice option as a side or main dish . Food was of a high standard but I hate chips and burgers . Although the burger had burgers were freshly made on site and my husband absolutely enjoyed it, it’s not my choice of food . Neither is pizza etc .

The hotel is always spotless and the staff always friendly and willing to help. It is ideally located for the places I needed to visit. There are plenty of car parking spaces available available

There wasn't anything that I expected that wasn't available. If being ultra picky, the view from some of the rooms is not great, but if the booking is made early enough, a room with a better view might be available

Room was fine, although none of us slept well because the beds are like concrete.

The hotel is clearly marketed and aligned with the Adventure Parc, however, it transpires the surf pool has been closed since 2023 due to cost. The zip line is also shut with the platform dumped in bits next to the spa. We could not use the pickle ball court because there was a wedding reception on it. When we tried to use the pool tables one was broken and there were no pounds coins for the other. The indoor equipment then all closes by 5pm. The hotel is very odd without the Parc and this should be made clear - the website still has images of the surf pool on it so is misleading. There's nothing else to speak of in the village, so the whole experience is like arriving at a forgotten former Soviet town! The hotel is badly maintained. Of the two lifts one was broken for our entire stay. The pool table didn't have any cues - so I bought them one. Taps didn't work in the gents. The gym had equipment missing, the music didn't work, no detergent etc. The glass washer in the bar didn't work because every time we ordered a drink the glasses were filthy. The restaurant food is pretty poor and uninspired, which is a real let down because there's nowhere else to go nearby. Housekeeping had to be chased up for towels. The one time I tried to use the spa, I couldn't because it was full. Overall - I wish we'd gone somewhere else and feel ripped off.

Our towels were not changed for 2 days even though we asked for room service! So they just folded the dirty wet towels and left them on our beds. The lady at the reception was very nice when I told her and arranged for new towels that night.

The rooms were nice and modern

The hotel isn’t in a location with any eating options and when we asked to eat at the restaurant we were told they were fully booked and only accepted bookings. They finally agreed to let us eat and the food was very average.

Housekeeping needs to be addressed. We had to ask for an extra hand towel ( only 1 provided ) Noticeable dust on several surfaces, including phone. We choose not to have the room made up when we are away for such a short time.....but we arrived to find kettle half full of water, no idea how long it had been there and when we left it was ( as we did not use it ) ....None of the toiletries had been topped up, the shower gel ran out after first night.

Property was in a good location. Sadly the water sports at the hotel was closed for the three days we stayed there.

The first day we went for breakfast the chef came across very rude but day 2 and 3 the chefs were different staff members and were very friendly.

Half of our family was staying in a house across the street, so the location was amazing for us. Even without that, though, we would've loved the location. Very pretty and very safe area.

The hotel was wonderful; clean, comfortable and had many amenities. The only issue we had was that the shower leaked every time we took a shower, so the floor would be completely soaked. We ended up using all of our towels just to try to soak up the water.

Loved the spa, one of the main hooks. Possibly inside floors could have used a good wash & bleach but everything worked! Amazing massage. Rooms present very nicely initially. Good food. Beautiful surroundings and fresh air.

Rooms possibly could have used a hoover under beds for example. Beds I found quite firm / not to my personal taste (am quite tall / heavy), subjectively. Infernal broken lift that I wonder if could have been serviced more quickly (doors opening and closing). We stayed 5 nights. Well stocked bar if quite expensive, same applies to food. Staff for most part polite and helpful, slight hiccup with housekeeping where bed was not made in morning and then entered abruptly around 6pm (just when you want some pre-evening quiet time)! Overall sense of a place with high guest turnover, polite but slightly impersonal. Decent.

Beautiful location - lovely and quiet! Blackout blinds meant it was pitch black for sleeping so 2 lovely, restful nights sleep. Restaurant food (breakfast and dinner) was delicious. Staff friendly and helpful.

1 lift was tempremental ao didn't always work, but added to the holiday in the end. 😂😂

Whilst the staff were friendly, I found the restaurant service is slow with the staff no that knowledgeable about the menu. Even had issues with getting a table for dinner. Shower leaked a bit in my room.

Things that we liekd most would be that out room was serviced when we were out, breakfast was really good and was spoiled for choice, staff were friendly and helpful. Great location, had lots around.

Cant say there was anything overly negative!There is a surfing activity outside but it wasn't in use currently, it was empty and therefore just didnt look nice. I did order a salad with seabass which I didn't enjoy but staff were nice and swapped for something else.

The scenery around is not nice, you can't really see on the photos but there's a massive industrial building right next door and some water park thing the other side. Got there at 7.30pm to be told the restaurant doesn't do walk ins so we ended up having to drive a while to find one. The next day we booked a table after being told it was packed (it wasnt) and a party of 10 with children just walked in so that clearly was not true. You had to pay for the spa. Was ok but won't rush back or recommend

The room was pleasant enough

The breakfast was shambolic - no one was managing the catering. The staff were poor in attitude and helpfulness. I was travelling solo with two teenage daughters who were not allowed to use the pool as they are under 18. The staff suggested I take them on a bike ride or mountain walk instead. I would have cancelled my booking if a refund was possible. The hotel looks good in photos but this place ruined what was meant to be a daddy daughter trip.

Great location for visiting lots of places in under an hour. Lovely view from the hotel room. Nice breakfast with options for everyone, cooked breakfast, cereal, pastries, fruit etc. We didn’t use the spa but saw people in the spa pool outside and it looked very nice. Nice food in the restaurant for dinner, we ate there twice and enjoyed the burger, steak and fish and chips. Hotel was very busy when we visited but we didn’t have to wait long for breakfast or dinner. Staff were very hospitable. Child friendly. Car charging for electric cars very reasonably priced. Shower, toilet, tv all worked fine. Didn’t hear any noise from other guests at all. We would stay here again if the mattress issue is sorted!

On the bottom plastic part of the shower door there was a lot of black and pink mould, something that can easily be cleaned off and should be immediately noticed by housekeeping. The room was otherwise clean. Mattress wasn’t good quality on the king size bed, springs could easily be felt. Also very thin and bumpy on the pull out sofa bed. We’ve travelled extensively and these were definitely the worst mattresses we’ve experienced. Both need replacing.

Restaurant and bar area felt quite stiff, seating not comfortable and very close to others. Breakfast wasn’t great, food fine although you’ve got to work it out especially if you’re looking for veggie or gf options, but it’s chaos and the staff don’t manage it very well.

- Zephyr restaurant was a huge disappointment. We were so excited but the dinner menu (both Bar + Restaurant) were very underwhelming, blend, nearly tasteless. We're not picky, we eat everything but this was a new low. Never had Mac&Cheese this tasteless. We stayed 5 nights and ended up buying sandwiches at the corner store. Breakfast was great, however. - Seemed a bit disorganized. We're told one thing at reception, and another at the restaurant bar. Also, someone spilled their coffee in an elevator. It took 2 days before that spill was cleaned. 2 days! - Spa is expensive. £25 for hotel guests, £30 for others for 2 hours at the spa. It should be free for hotel guests. Separately, wanted a massage but the prices were very high. Nothing under £100, and it doesn't say how long the massages are. Seemed like a trap to me.

Location is great and you get a superb view from the spa. Receptionist was superb and gave a free drink voucher for partners birthday. Restaurant food was superb for both evening meal and breakfast.

Paying £30 per person extra to use the spa was very expensive, considering allot of hotels would have this in with the price. Breakfast was ok, I've certainly had better in other hotels.

The hotel was nice we had a lovely room ,the breakfast was your normal buffet style with plenty of choice. We used the spa which had some great facilities we had a 2hour slot for £25 pp The hotel was located not far from Conwy town and the castle around 15 min drive.

The hotel overlooks a wave centre which wasn’t in use anymore which is a bit of an eyesore but didn’t really spoil our stay and there’s not too much around to walk to like other restaurants or pubs the nearest is the drive into Conwy. We found our hotel room was a little dusty like it hadn’t been used recently but not checked before we checked in but sort from that it was a beautiful room

Location for those who want to discover the north of Snowdonia and north of Wales.

The restaurant for breakfast is to crowded and food is not enough for the guests which means you have to wait for a long time until they bring new food and the staff during breakfast is not enough to provide good service. The bathroom is separate from the shower and washing sink which means no complete privacy in suite room.

Food was excellent, we thoroughly enjoyed every meal we had. The seating outside was enjoyable and staff were friendly and helpful. The pool table was also good fun a great addition.

It was a shame me and my daughter who is 15 couldn't use the spa facilities with it being over 18s. I feel there is no difference in maturity between a 15 year old and a 18 year old so maybe lowering the age to 13 would bring in more customers, we certainly would have spent more money if that was the case. This is the second time we have been here and now my daughter is a little older I must say the bathroom set up is not ideal, not enough privacy, it doesn't help there is a full lengh mirror opposite the shower so if you are sitting on the bed you can see someone getting out of the shower in the mirror.

Das Frühstücksbuffet war immer gut gefüllt. Wer eher kam hatte auch noch due Möglichkeit Obst zu bekommen und sich einen bestimmte Joghurtsort rauszusuchen.

Beim Abendessen gab es es nicht viel Auswahl auch nicht für Kinder. Wenn man beim Frühstück nach um 8 kam konnte es schonmal vorkommen, dass man auch mal 5-10 Minuten warten musste bis ein Tisch frei wahr. Das Bett war extrem weich für mich und das Schlafsofa war ebenfalls sehr durchgelegen. Die Sauberkeit der Dusche hat sehr zu wünschen übrig gelassen. In allen Ecken war es sehr unsauber, teilweise schwarz.

In an ideal world guests wouldn’t pay extra for the spa

Location is beautiful, easy access for hiking in Snowdonia, lovely local towns to visit. Food in the restaurant was very good (better than we expected for a hotel). The bar has a good choice of drinks. The free to use table tennis and pool table are a great idea. The bedrooms are very spacious with an interesting/different en-suite design. Beds are excellent! Spa is well worth booking into, a very good price for hotel guests. I love the outdoor heated salt pool.

Unfortunately my husband had his curry dropped onto his trainers by the waitress. He thankfully managed to mostly wash it off in the bathroom with soap. However my meal was just left in front of me whilst he was away washing his trainers and a new meal was prepared for him. We had no form of apology other than the very embarrassed waitress saying sorry. Accidents do happen, but it wasn’t dealt with very well by anyone in management. Hence the overall score of 7 out of 10

Set in stunning scenery with lots of tables and chairs outside to enjoy the views. Lovely big bedrooms with all the bits & bobs you’d need for a comfortable stay - full range of toiletries, hairdryer, fridge, iron & ironing board. Breakfast was fine and had everything you’d expect.

The bed was not comfy. It was too soft and saggy. Long queues waiting to be seated for breakfast, even though there were plenty of tables available. Just not enough staff to clear them. The evening meal and service were poor.

The spa was the best thing about the hotel. Really luxurious and very well priced for hotel guests. I went first thing in the morning and was one of very few guests so had the place largely to myself. There were no hidden fees - robes, towels and flip flops were all provided.

The mattress was quite uncomfortable. It felt like a very old spring mattress as it made noises any time you turned over. I also thought the toiletries didn't feel very luxurious. Usually when staying in a spa hotel, I expect the shower gel/ shampoo etc to feel like a bit more special. Also, the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night despite there not being any emergency. I completely understand that this happens sometimes and on it's own this wouldn't affect my view of the hotel, however, I felt it would have been a courtesy for the matter to be addressed, perhaps by an explanation of what happened or an acknowledgment that it caused a disturbance.

Er is eigenlijk niets in dit hotel, je zit van veel plekken ver af. Er is een spa waar je voor moet betalen. Het is een erg onpersoonlijk hotel. Het personeel in het restaurant mist hospitality uitstraling, het lijkt net een opleidingshotel. Dan liggen er alleen messen, de andere keer volledig bestek, zonder servetten. Het eten was er rindjit slecht. We hebben er de eerste avond gegeten. Duurt lang en de kwaliteit en hoeveelheid eten is bedroevend. In de kamer zit een douchecel waar als je gedouched hebt, het water in je kamer staat, hier de eerste dag direct melding van gemaakt, is helemaal niets mee gebeurd….Is waarschijnlijk een constructie fout.
