No hay desayuno, lo tenes que pagar. Queda a unas 10 cuadras del centro aproximadamente

The room was extremely humid and, since there wasn't air conditioning and the window did not have protection to keep people outside, we could not let air circulate.

Reviewed Aug 28, 2026Located within safe walking distance to the ADO terminal. They let me in late when my bus arrived at almost 2 AM, which I appreciated. The staff were friendly, the room was comfortable, and the hot water was good.
There were many tiny ants in my specific room, but it didn't bother me that much. It might bother some people more.

La tv no tiene cobertura amplia es solo lo basico televisa y tv azteca y que no cuentan con jabón para el baño solo shampoo y acondicionador otro detalle es qué tienen que fumigar ya que salio una cucaracha de las pequeñas en el lavabo..lo demas excelente muy amables con disponibilidad para guiarte y qué tu estancia sea comoda

Reviewed Aug 4, 2026La pulcritud de las sábanas! La ubicación es excelente, ya que se encuentra en uno de los barrios más emblemáticos de Oaxaca. La arquitectura que da una idea de las casas antiguas. La atención del personal y lo bien que resolvieron un contratiempo. Explico: yo había hecho reservaciones para tres habitaciones en temporada alta pero al final tuve que preguntar si era posible recorrer la fecha un día, en todo momento estuvieron en contacto conmigo y a la administración se le presentó un contratiempo con una habitación que finalmente me proporcionaron en otro hotel, también limpísimo y bonito (Hotel Magda), el personal fue SÚPER ATENTO Y AMABLE. Amé mi estancia en Jalatlaco! Gracias a todos!
Es una zona muy transitada y obviamente hay mucho movimiento pero nada extraordinario.

Reviewed Aug 2, 2026Habitación amplia y muy limpia, con baño nuevo. El barrio precioso, lleno de restaurantes y cafeterías. A 5 minutos a pie de la estación de autobús y 20 del centro, se podía caminar tranquilamente. El personal muy atento, Nos dejaron estar tras en el área común tras el checkout y llenar de agua las botellas.
Por la ubicación de la habitación se escuchaba ruido de tráfico, pero dormimos bien a pesar de todo.

Reviewed Jul 24, 2026El barrio de Jalatlaco me encanto, me enamoro, hay muchas cafeterías y restaurantes, sus calles con Murales, sus adornos todo muy típico de Oaxaca, esta a un paso de una avenida principal pasan buses y taxis regularmente, muy tranquilo, me tendieron muy bien , el personal se porto muy bien , hay ventilador, la ubicación esta como ha 7 calles del centro.
A mi me gustaría que tuvieran un poquito de más cosas para vender en su tiendita (galletas, chocolates, tipicas de alla),

Reviewed Jul 22, 2026Fue como lo pensaba de acuerdo a las fotos que ví, muy cuidado en sus instalaciones, el único pero que pondría es que un poquito retirado del centro,pero el barrio donde se encuentra es muy bonito y tranquilo, me gustó mucho si regresaría a hospedarme la próxima vez que visite Oaxaca, gracias .

Reviewed Jul 6, 2026El hotel es sencillo y muy limpio, justo lo que se necesita si vas a pasar el día visitando diferentes lugares. El personal muy amable. Está muy cerca de Jalatlaco que ofrece una variedad de lugares para comer y también está muy cerca de la iglesia de Santo Domingo. Del zócalo está como a 20 minutos caminando, no se siente porque hay muchas cosas que ver en el camino. Tienen un convenio con una base de taxis por lo que te llevan al aeropuerto por un buen precio.
Nos gustaría que tuviera una toalla para secarse las manos.

Perfectly located for the bus station the next morning (5 min walk) and plenty of cute breakfast cafes 2-3 mins away so we could fuel up before our 3 hour bus journey! Amazing value for money. Shower pressure was good, chain lock available on the door, and drinking water also available.
Worth bringing an eye mask if sensitive to light at night time as it has sheer curtains for the small window (true everywhere). Towels are clean but slightly old.

We arrive on the night bus from Ciudad devMexico very early in the morning, so we have to wait for a room, but we get it before 3 p.m. The room isn't very nice but it is quite spacious. The bathroom is big and clean, with toiletries. The furnishings are simple, with two large beds. There is a storage room where one keep their luggage.
Two beds, one of which has no bedding.

Cela ne dépend pas de l'hôtel, mais nos voisins anglophones de la chambre d'en face nous ont bien fait savoir tôt le matin qu'ils étaient réveillés (en ouvrant délibérément leur chambre et leur bouche).

They were very tight on how many towels they give you . It was a big deal to get an extra t owel.the blanket in the closet was moldy smelling. When you take a shower do it at night as in the morning there is no hot water . Great places in area for coffee and b pastries. The staff is great

My flight was cancelled on the first day of my trip and the owner/,manager refused to allow me a break and demanded that I pay for the night I missed anyway.

Antes de levantarte de la cama tenías que revisar el suelo porque estaba lleno de insectos y chicatanas. Se nos mojó bastante ropa porque había una gotera. Para llegar a la habitación por dentro del hotel tenías que cruzar patios descubiertos que si llueve se te moja el equipaje. No hay aire acondicionado y hace muchísimo calor porque no hay ventanas. La luz del baño no funcionaba bien. Las toallas eran muy viejas y pequeñas. El internet no llega bien a la habitación.

No blowdryer, AC or fridge. Room just has the bare minimum. Cleanliness leaves to be desired.

No está tan cerca del centro... Casi 25 minutos caminando. Hacía mucho calor en la habitación, te dejan 2 ventiladores pero hay pocas conexiones eléctricas y los cables no eran lo suficientemente largos. Nos dieron una habitación "más cómoda"... Pero sin almohadas ni sábanas. La presión del agua es rara, no sabemos si en la noche cerraban la toma y el wc dejaba de llenar

Maybe the time of year (early May), but it was far too hot in the room and there is no air conditioning. They do give you fans, but blowing hot air on yourself didn't help. The ceiling fan was not operational. Second bad point was the internet. They give you three options for WiFi, and none of them worked better than 15 mb/s. I'm sorry, but if you are located in the city there is absolutely no reason you can't supply your customers with 100 mb/s internet. That's pretty much the standard nowadays.

La cama es incómoda más el ruido exterior en la madrugada no nos dejó dormir de corrido ninguna noche.

Reviewed Apr 27, 2026Our stay at Hotel Posada San Rafael was great. The property was well- cared for, clean and vibrant. Our room was spacious and generously supplied with dining table & chairs, desk & stool, bedside table and ample power points. Beds were comfortable & clean. The bathroom was very clean & functioned perfectly, including hot water shower. Staff are warm & welcoming, very helpful. So many highlights here - nice outdoor space, drinking water, fridge available. Luggage (locked) room is appreciated. Wifi works well. Ceiling fans were great. Neighbourhood is quiet and peaceful, some great eateries in the immediate area, OXXO nearby, bus station 5-10 easy walk Highly recommend a stay with Hotel Posada San Rafael - clean, comfortable, affordable.
