El lugar lo tiene TODO, spa, viñedo, spot de fotos, restaurante, habitaciones hermosas y una alberca increíble.

La calle de acceso, estaba aplanada raro y sonaba el coche pero honestamente ese camino mejor que el de muchos sitios

We had a great time on our trip. The resort was perfect. The food at the restaurant was top notch. Their wine was great, the room was spacious and comfortable and the staff was so kind and helpful. We would recommend this resort to anyone who wants a perfect little hideaway in the Valle.

Great place to stay! Really peaceful and clean!

Great property! However, the service at the restaurant was not great. Servers seems like they didn’t want to be there. Food was good, but the alcoholic drinks (mixed drinks) were not good at all. They were too sweet and could not taste the alcohol at all. It tasted like juice with syrup.

We were really looking forward to our stay, but unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. When we arrived, the air conditioning was off, and it was over 100° outside, so the room was extremely hot and uncomfortable to settle into. The television was also an issue—there’s no standard cable connection, and they recommend logging into your own Netflix or Amazon account. However, those options never appeared on the TV, so we couldn’t watch anything during our stay. The shower was disappointing as well. It felt dirty and slimy, and I actually had to lay down a towel just to be comfortable standing in it. Another downside was the restaurant not opening until 8 AM, which meant no early morning coffee—something we were really hoping for. On the positive side, the Saturday night band was fun and definitely the highlight of our stay. But overall, with the issues we experienced, I would not stay here again.

The food at Almatierra was some of the best that I had during my stay, and was always an incredible value for what was served. The ingredients were fresh and the portions were always hearty. The room was comfortable and well maintained. There is a wonderfully cozy feel about the grounds of the property and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Beautiful place and really clean!

We loved our stay at Ojo Azul! So tranquil and relaxing but fun. They had performers on Saturday night and with their bar made for a fun night out. They also had an EV charger on site which was a huge relief since we took our electric car. Woul stay again!

The massage therapist - too young and inexperienced. Massage on December 30 2024 at 8:00 am. Room cold ! Very uncomfortable! Therapist felt uncomfortable during massage. No personality - too young. I’d like more lighted signs at night it was difficult navigating to the location. The signs should be big and happy - providing reassurance that we are traveling in the right direction.

Nice, clean hotel. Food at the restaurant was always good, service was great. Also great added bonus was the band that plays on the weekends, so much fun ending the night dancing! Def recommend!

Beautiful grounds, great pool, fabulous food!

We can't wait to return to Ojo Azul Resort Vineyard! I was looking for a hotel with a pool in November, the pool and hot tub here were hot and perfect. The room was comfortable and scenic, all the rooms are built in a horseshoe shape around a small section of the vineyard so really all (garden view, vineyard view, pool view) are equally good. I enjoyed the food in the restaurant, there is a band and dancing at night, but it shuts down by 10pm. What surprised me the most though was their wine. We visited 6 different wineries in Valle de Guadalupe and my very favorite bottle was the Nebbiolo from Ojo Azul! Not to be missed.

This is one of the best places to stay in Valle de Guadalupe hands down. We love the restaurant great menu.

The rooms were spacious, tastefully decorated, and offered breathtaking views of the vineyards. Each suite had a private terrace, which was perfect for enjoying a glass of local wine while watching the sunset. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the attention to detail in the room’s design really enhanced the overall experience. The staff at Ojo Azul were attentive and friendly, going above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. They were always available to assist with anything, from arranging wine tours to recommending the best local restaurants. One of the highlights of the resort is the on-site restaurant, which features a farm-to-table menu with fresh, local ingredients. Every meal was a culinary delight, especially when paired with one of the many wines produced in the region. The breakfast included with the stay was a great start to each day, featuring delicious pastries, fresh fruits, and excellent coffee. The resort’s location makes it easy to explore Valle de Guadalupe’s wineries, but it’s also a peaceful retreat for those who prefer to relax on the property. The pool and spa areas were serene and well-maintained, adding to the overall sense of relax.

This is one of our favorites places we stayed in valle. They are dog friendly (13 pound dog) to their restaurant and pool amenities were a plus for us. The beds were comfy and the room was nice and big for a couple. Would stay here again.

Peaceful resort

My husband and I stayed one night. The property itself is very nice. We did a dinner tasting in the restaurant and later on that night I got food poisoning and threw up twice and diarrhea all night. I felt very disappointed. I let the hotel know and they just said "sorry and maybe my body isn't used to the food." I have travelled all throughout Mexico and have NEVER gotten sick. So, this was a surprise especially because this getaway was specifically for all the wonderful food in Valle De Guadupe.

Ojo's is a beautiful and peaceful property that we will return to time and time again. Staff is wonderful!

Great stay

This was our second visit and it was as good as the first. The rooms are comfortable, the grounds are beautiful and the staff wonderful. The restaurant serves incredibly delicious food, some of the best to be found in the Valle de Guadalupe. The heated pool is a wonderful touch. We enjoyed it daily. The only "regret" is that the included breakfast no longer includes an egg choice. One suggestion I'd make is that there is no power outlet available near the pool for phone charging. Yes, that's a very minor thing and in no way affected our enjoyment. I plan to return again for my next birthday celebration!

Great relaxing place

Love this place, I’ve stayed here multiple times. Unfortunately, there’s was no one available at the pool to place an order but the worst part of all if that the dinner we had there got my boyfriend and I sick. It was such a bitter experience because we didn’t enjoy the facilities as we had planned. He was sick all night and I started to get the symptoms the following day. I’m Mexican, and I’m used to eating Mexican food, but I don’t know what was in that dish (lengua con cachete) that gave us the worst food poisoning ever.

Miss the full size shampoo/Conditioner Room floor and small rug dirty Saturday Night Band was out of control loud! We weren't even able to hear our TV that was at full volume due to noise.

Beautiful resort. We spent a day doing 4 different winery tours. We couldn’t wait to get back and have dinner there again. The first night we had dinner and it was off the charts. Insanely good and Pablo is an outstanding waiter. Actually, all the waiters were phenomenal. We’ll definitely stay there again.

Hotel is great, restaurant food is great. Place is well kept and maintained. Dirt roads to most of these places, plan to visit after a few weeks the rain has past. Small cars can get easily trapped in the mud. We have a Subaru Ascent which was a tremendous help.

We enjoyed our stay at Ojo Azul

My wife and I booked 3 nights at Ojo Azul on a whim. It was our first time in Valle de Guadalupe and we couldn’t have been happier with our stay. Ojo Azul is a beautiful hotel with great service, and lively entertainment. They had live music on Friday and Saturday night which was a lot of fun. It was very loud (even from our room) and ran late into the night so, if you want a quiet mellow hotel, you might want to check their entertainment schedule before booking. We loved it. The restaurant is good. You get a free continental breakfast of yogurt with fruit which was surprisingly VERY good. We also tried the chilaquiles verdes and huevos rancheros which were good. The service at their restaurant is excellent. We were not interested in booking all day wine tours so the hotel was able to find a driver that could take us to restaurants in the evenings. It was expensive so I suggest trying to haggle if you can.

Maravillosa estadía, el staff es amigable, las instalaciones bien conversadas, las habitaciones con vista al viñedo, wow. Las amenidades de la habitación están completas, la cama es súper cómoda y los blancos muy suaves. La comida del restaurante exquisita al igual que las bebidas. Alejandro fue muy amable y atento en las 2 ocasiones que consumimos en la alberca y restaurante. El único detalle sería que las bicicletas les urge mantenimiento, solo 2 servían a medias y las demás estaban ponchadas, sucias, oxidadas.
