Grand Mercure Dubai City

Close to airport for a transit

its vicinity to the airport

- The entrance to the lobby which was not manned - The unresponsive staff who was available to attend to check in but she just stood behind the counter

Central location, close to local railway - free shuttle to and from Dubai airport was a bonus.

Coffee machine didn't function, both TV's (lounge and bedroom) didn't function. Carpets were a bit stained and worn.

Great service, very affordable. Nice staff

First, I would like to say a big thank you to Ms. Alaa for being such a wonderful and accommodating person. She was very helpful and made our stay even more pleasant. The staff were very professional, friendly, and welcoming. The room was spacious, elegant, and beautifully maintained. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and truly appreciated the excellent hospitality. I would definitely recommend this place and look forward to coming back again!

The room was good

Given a non-smoking room, we would expect the corridor to be the same, quite logically! It was horrendously smokey all along the corridor, especially for us folks with breathing issues this was hell!

I loved the guy that helped me get a taxi and carried my stuff amazing employee, think his name was Richard or Robert not sure

Very good

They don’t have microwaves and wouldn’t warm food for clients this is sad because not all thier customers can eat Arabian food so we order african dishes from outside

Breakfast spread as per a 5 star property wasnt huge enough

Neet

No good Gym No bar Amenities not working

Good hotel.

The air conditioner is too hot and the items are lost there

Easy access to the airport

Good location

Shower bath / bath door locks need to upgrade Always have issues

I liked the layout of the room. I appreciated the vanity area.

Didnt like the absence of the shower bar. Didn't like the lack of "five star hotel" services. Didn't like the room service delivery charges.

Location was good for a 1 night stay over between flights

Not welcoming on arrival to the hotel Overcharged at reception for pre booked overnight stay. Only noticed the error when we got to the room and then went back to challenge the cost which was escalated to the Manager to be reimbursed. Waited 2 weeks for reimbursement

It was close to the airport , it was a perfect transit hotel

Location

Services they don't picked up my calls

The room is okay. Location is nearby to the airport.

No one welcoming you and asking for the luggage. You also need to park by yourself under the basement. No basic toothbrush & paste. The breakfast was the worst as a 5-star rated hotel. Really need to improve.
