Tolip Resort El Galala Majestic

We really enjoyed our stay at the Majestic. The beaches and swimming pools were excellent, and having more than one beach gave us different options to enjoy. The buffet offered a wide variety of food, and the supermarket and pharmacy inside the hotel were very convenient. Special thanks to Mr. Ahmed Abd Elhady at reception for his outstanding service from check-in to check-out. Mr. Mohamed Nagati from housekeeping also provided excellent service, and Shishaman was very helpful when we needed ice after my wife slipped at the beach.

There were a few areas that could be improved. When one of our small luggage pieces was missing on arrival, the person who answered the hotel phone was unfortunately not very helpful. Thankfully, Mr. Mohamed from housekeeping helped us locate it. More importantly, when my wife slipped on the wooden deck at the second beach, there was no lifeguard or security staff nearby at that moment to provide first aid. This is something the hotel should definitely improve from a safety perspective. The Caesar salad from room service also contained far too much mayonnaise and was not really a traditional Caesar salad. There was also noticeable food waste at the buffet.

The hygiene was really poor , the bathrooms is a disaster they need seriously to care more about bathrooms hygiene and the staff was not helpful and mean also they tried to scam me by charging 400 pounds for a towel to my kid

The pools are not clean and the beach is full of rocks , the hygiene was awful and services were really poor and the staff are unfriendly and not helpful at all The bathrooms and the bedrooms floor were super dirty , it’s really expensive for all of this unfortunately my money went to waste

They were truly exceptional and extremely helpful throughout my stay. I would especially like to recognize the Reservation Manager, Mr. Abdelfattah, and his team for their outstanding support and professionalism. I would also like to extend my appreciation to Mr. Mohamed and the Room Service team, particularly Khaled and Ahmed, for their excellent service, responsiveness, and dedication to ensuring a comfortable and pleasant experience.

While the staff's hospitality was excellent, there were a few areas that could be improved. The restaurant was often quite crowded, which affected the overall dining experience. Additionally, there were noticeable delays in replenishing items at the open buffet, resulting in some dishes being unavailable for extended periods. I would also suggest reviewing the quality of the juices served, as they appeared to be prepared with tap water, which negatively impacted their taste and overall quality

Rooms are nice. Beach is very nice and the whole setting is comfortable. Food was very good.

We were a few families travelling together. All our friends get their rooms except us. It took an eternity to make our rooms ready. It could have been because we requested 2 rooms adjacent to each other, which is fine. No big deal, but they said they will call us when the rooms are ready, which never happened. I had to go back and forth between the reception and the beach, when the weather was super hot. The staff insisted they will take the luggage to the rooms, but we told them that we are staying at the beach, so they said they will leave them in front of the rooms, which was ridiculous. We took the luggage ourselves to the rooms, which was convenient to us anyways. They gave us 2 towel cards, one per room, even if we were 6 persons. When I asked that there are only 2, they said it is one card per room. At the checkout, they said that they gave us 6, one card per person, which was false. Again, total incompetence.

### Very Disappointing Experience Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was a very disappointing experience and fell far below my expectations. The furniture and overall condition of the room were quite poor, and the room service was not up to standard. Cleanliness was another major issue; I would honestly rate it no more than **1/10**. The quality of the food was also very disappointing, and the technical and logistical support provided by the hotel was not satisfactory. Another issue that made the experience even more frustrating was being charged an additional amount that was almost **twice the original payment** due to not having a valid residence permit. While I understand that certain policies may apply, the additional charge was extremely high and was not clearly communicated beforehand. Overall, I was very disappointed with the quality of the service and the value for money. Unfortunately, this is **not an experience I would like to repeat, and I would not recommend this hotel to others.**

The room had an amazing view, and the overall scenery was beautiful. The garden was lovely, the beach was quite nice, and I really enjoyed the water activities. The Cable car was also beautiful.

The food quality was not very good, and there could be more variety in the food options. Also, the staff member’s attitude when I requested an extra bottle of water was not pleasant. I understand the complimentary water limit, but the information could have been communicated in a more polite and friendly way.

Wonderful experience! The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, and the location couldn’t be better. I would definitely recommend this place and would happily stay here again

Facilities really perfect, closure to the sea and free telefrek experience which was really amazing , staff so professional under leadership of Mr.Abdel Fattah who did all his efforts to make our stay so pleasant ,along with the rest of staff for room service

Food is terrible , both breakfast and dinner which we were promised to get an improvement on the quality during our next stay, looking forward for having this implemented as this is the only negative downside:)

الفندق كان زحمه جدا جدا ومعرفوش يسيطروا علي الوضع ده وحقيقي كانت فيه مشاكل كتير زي اني كنت قاعده في شاليه بعيد عن الفندق وعن المطعم وبحتاج جولف كار توديني وتجيبني مكنش فيه غير واحده بس اللي شاغله علي الاوتيل كله وتستناه كتييييير اوي عشان يجيي ولما يجي يقولك معلش هاخد بالدور حاجة مش احترافيه بالمره الاكل لو اتاخرت متلقيش ترابيزه ولا اكل اساسا ودا فعلا اللي حصل معايا كان ليا رحله تليفريك مجانيه بلغتي بيها موظف الاستقبال ولكن لم يبلغني بان التليفريك يوم الثلاثاء بيكون فيه صيانه ومش شغال وانا للاسف كنت مأجله مرواحي للتليفريك لحد يوم الcheck out من الاوتيل اللي هو يوم الثلاثاء لاسباب اني معايا اطفال في عمر السنتين كل يوم بيكونوا عاوزين ينزلو حمام السباحه ويروحوا البحر وانا واثقه ان موظف الاستقبال مبلغنيش بالمعلومه ديه ف راحت عليا الرحله المجانيه حقيقي الوضع كان سئ والاوتيل كان واخد اكتر من استيعابه ومكنوش عارفين يسيطروا علي الوضع وهتكون اخر مره اروحه

the location, overall design, and atmosphere of the hotel are actually excellent.

This hotel is absolutely not worth the money paid. The overall hygiene and cleanliness across the entire facility—not just the rooms—are extremely poor. Rooms were in unacceptable condition, with visible lack of cleaning. Even basic facilities like the shower and washbasin had clogged drainage, and this issue was not limited to our room but also experienced by our friends, which clearly indicates a recurring problem rather than an isolated case. The food was another major disappointment. There was very limited variety, and the quality was far below expectations. Some items even smelled spoiled to the point that staff themselves advised us not to feed them to our children, which is completely unacceptable for any hospitality establishment. What makes this even more frustrating is that the location, overall design, and atmosphere of the hotel are actually excellent. It is a beautiful property with great potential, but it is severely let down by poor management, lack of maintenance, and failure to meet even the most basic hospitality standards. This was a very disappointing experience that I would not repeat, and I do not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, well-managed, and value-for-money stay.

L’hôtel était très propre, le personnel était serviable ( notamment M.Ahmed Saïd), les chambres impeccable et le cadre magnifique !

فندق ممتاز ، جميع العاملين كانوا غايه في المهنيه والدقه والاحترام ، خصوصا ا حسين رئيس طاقم الهاوس كيبنج وجميع طاقم الهاوس كيبنج الذين تعاملت معهم ، وايضا موظفي المطعم والسرفيس كانوا في غايه التعاون والمهنيه ، موظفي الرسبشن كانوا ودودين ومتعاونون جدا ، موظفي حمامات السباحه والشاطئ لا يقلون عن باقي الطاقم من حيث التعاون والمهنيه . الفندق كبير جدا ونظيف والمرافق جديده والغرف واسعه ونظيفه و ممتازه جدا جدا ، وكذلك الشاليهات واسعه وغايه في الروعه والفيو كان رائع جدا ، الكافتيريات علي الشاطئ في المساء تحفه وغايه في الروعه ، تجربه ممتازه وإن شاء الله افكر في إعادتها مره اخري

الأمر الوحيد الذي لم يعجبني هو عدم وجود انشطه في الفندق في المساء بإستثناء شو الاطفال

الفندق جيد جدا ولكن يمكن أن يقدم خدمة أفضل خاصة مع توفر جميع الامكانيات. نظافه الغرف جيده ولكن من علي الوش فقط، محتاجه اشراف خاصه تحت السراير يوجد اكياس بلاستيك. طاقم العمل ممتاز ولكن يمكن أن يقدم خدمة أفضل من خلال ادارة افضل.

الاداره تحتاج الي تركيز اكبر لتقديم مستوى خدمة أفضل. الطعام كان جيد ولكن لا يرتقي إلى ممتاز كالمعتاد، لم يكن فيه تنوع كبير بعض الأوقات الاكل شبه بارد، وكانت هناك أصناف تنتهي ولا يعاد ملئها. طاقم المطعم ممتاز لكن كان هناك شيئ اداري ادي الي هذه الحالة الغير مرضية في بعض الأوقات.

The only positive aspects of our stay were the beautiful sea view from the room and the activities available for children. The view was relaxing, and the kids enjoyed the activities. Unfortunately, these positives were not enough to make up for the poor room condition and the disappointing food.

Extremely disappointing experience. The room was in unacceptable condition. Multiple lights were burnt out, the floor had broken tiles hidden beneath the carpet, and the bathtub drain was clogged. It was obvious that the room had not been properly inspected or maintained before our arrival. To make matters worse, the food was the worst part of the stay. It was completely tasteless, with very poor quality and little variety. Overall, this hotel was far below the standard I expected, and I would not stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

Lighting fixtures and remote batteries need replacement , cleaning could be improved. I had way better experience last time which was only 2 months ago

Hotelli oli todella siisti ja henkilökunta osasi auttaa hyvin ja olivat palvelualttiilta. Kaunis uima-allas ja helppo pääsy rannalle. Hotellin sijainti oli hyvä ja rauhallinen.

Majoitukseen kuuluva aamiainen ja illallinen olivat kohtalaisia, ei hyvää mutta ei pahaa. Hotellin huonepalvelun ruoka ei ollut myöskään kovin hyvää.

All staff was super cooperated with us .. even if there any small complain from anything.. they make sure that it won't happen again .. special thanks to Ms. Nourhan the relation gusts manager , Mr. Mostafa at front office ,Ms. Mayar at the front office , Mr. Ahmed Mahmoud at the restaurant & Mr. Fathy head of room service ..they all made our stay more comfortable and definitely will love to repeat this experience again .

The place itself is cleanish, the design is good and the water facilities are good. staff are mostly friendly. The beach had a nice area. now for the activities and sports the third party provider was great (BOBOS) that was literally the highlight of the stay. Second best part of the trip was the Basement floor, it had a supermarket, pharmacy and a couple of shops that helped us with a few snacks, board games and swimming gear.

Firstly the food is bad, and I mean REALLY REALLY BAD to the point where we only ate there once on dinner and then skipped the rest of the meals for the stay, the restaurants on the beach are operated by the hotel as well, and you guessed it, it’s bad. for the coffee, the best coffee cup I had here, was the one I made myself in my hotel room. A manager did comp us meals to make it up for the food issue (Thanks). One of the rooms we had, had an issue with plumbing where the shower got shut, and a worker came with no equipment, wiggled around and nothing got fixed, and I saw someone else complaining about this previously. and both our rooms sink got jammed a lot and flooded. Lastly, Now apparently the ^Bars^ at the hotel don’t serve alcohol, and you aren’t allowed to bring any with you (booking didn’t write this info, you have to ask for it apparently).

The weather was perfect, the property itself is beautiful, and the view was absolutely breathtaking. The overall ambiance was very relaxing and enjoyable.

This is second time but the food quality still did not meet expectations, and the variety was quite limited, especially for a 5-star hotel.

The suite was superb, everything is amazing, the view was perfect and also the structure of the suite was very comfy. Restaurant was good, but the food variety was not as expected, in some cases, the grilled chicken was overcooked in a level that’s being too much dry. Overall food needed to be more varied than this, and it was not expected because I tried the hotel one time before and it was fabulous experience, so I think it’s something related to the high season that you can work on. The beach was amazing and the pool as well Worth highlighting that the staff was greatly helpful, professional and friendly. I enjoy my stay and I‘d repeat it again but please improve the restaurant experience. ♥️♥️♥️
