Food options and pricing could be better put. There are varities but it's not catering everyone. A simple menu with great offerings is anyday better than 200 things to order from. Please improve the Chai and Coffee. It can really be better. Zostel wayanad also serves chai and coffee and it's the best one I've taste so far in any western ghat location so don't blame the location or unavailability. It's a will issue. Not skill issue

Reviewed Jul 7, 2026Didnt like anything, regerting the decision to book zostel. Highly Disappointed. Rude staff, not helpful, didnt had room avaliable and we had to sit in lobby for the whole day and when they aloted room we had to leave for sight seeing. Worst experience and would not recommend it to anyone.
The dorm was full with their friends and relatives and the one who was managing was not the owner or manager who was supposed to be there, he was subordinate managing the bookings, cancelling and changing the details. Please look onto this issue.

The dorm was a bit stuffy with no ventilation. Also there was a lot of noise from the kitchen which was opposite to the dorm. The toilet could have been better. It was always wet because of improper tiles and how it was made though it was cleaned most of the time.

Había un problema con el gas y todas las comidas no estaban disponibles, pero aún así tenían opciones tanto vegetarianas coml mo vegetarianas para todas las comidas del día.

Reviewed Mar 20, 2026Nice place to meet people. The bunk beds in the dorms are clean and comfortable. From most dorms it is a small walk to the bathing area. Only the 10 bed dorm has its own bathroom. The staff is polite and helpful. I also liked that is was just a small climb from the bus station.

Travelling with family is absolutely fine unless you have very senior individuals. Everything is accessible by stairs only so we have to be mindful of that. Otherwise all good.
