The calm effect it gave.
The darkness at the back of our chalets... i stayed in nr 31
We got there and they told is there has been no electricity for the last week and BOOKINGS.com was suppose to let us know (which you didnt!!!) so we left! We didnt have our weekend away because of bookings not informing us of whats going on. So we need someone to come back to us so we can reschedule that weekend without cost!!!!!!!
Every I need at home i found here
Everything was good
Not much to like
Had to report after first night, toilet not flushing, shower water not draining, tin opener not working?
The activities for the kids
Easy and convenient location. there was a spare mattress for my son.
Everything
No problem
Loved the place and how clean it is
The only suggestion I would give is there has to be a warm water pool for babies or younger kids .the water is very cold
Love the place - the location is great, Staff were friendly and helpful. Overall stay was good.
Things like the bed wasn't comfortable to sleep on, but its not bad. Would have liked to see place to charge EV's though.
there is alot for the children to do. i liked the mini golf and trampoline. the kiosk on the resort is a great idea.
the was no two-point plugs to charge my fone, so I had to go buy one. the braai area at the flats are to small and there is no tools to put wood on the fire.
Die gesamte Anlage ist schön gepflegt und liegt idylisch.

Place was ok.
My booking was done incorrectly by the booking.com app. It was fixed whereby they corrected my dates and gave me a 2 bedroom instead of a 1 bedroom but then Baywater village staff did not want to give me the 2 bedroom.
They place generally are OK. We go there yearly.
There are probably a rat/mouse infestation. We had rats running around the whole night since day 2. We reported it but was not moved to another unit so that they can sort out the issue. We were deprived of our rest/sleep.
During our stay, we noticed a few areas where the units could be improved to enhance the overall guest experience. For example, we encountered ants in the kitchen, which led us to discard some food items and store everything in the fridge. Providing a larger supply of cleaning liquid would be very helpful, especially since the units are not serviced on Sundays. Additionally, given the number of mosquitoes, plug-in repellents in the rooms would make a big difference in comfort. This was my fourth visit to Baywater Village, and I observed that the units have not changed much over time. The roofs could benefit from a thorough cleaning, and the bedding and patio furniture would feel more welcoming with some upgrades. Overall, these improvements would help maintain the charm of Baywater Village while ensuring guests continue to enjoy a comfortable and refreshing stay.
Stayed for 4 nights at Baywater Village from Nov 10 to Nov 14 and it was an amazing experience. The location is beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing. The accommodation was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The hosts were welcoming and made sure everything was perfect for our stay. Great spot for a getaway ( even with co-workers) highly recommend!
Safe and beautiful wildlife

Location, Staff very friendly
Mattress not firm enough, cutlery and couches need upgrade, blowers to noise and creates lots of dust.
Everything
There was alot of weeds around my unit. Not much grass. Big trees in front of the unit which blocks out the sun. Recommendation to trim it down.
The fireplace outside
Excellent
Nothing
Noisy fans and fridge in kitchen
Variety of activities with which to occupy yourself within the village. Beautiful, scenic, tranquil location. Friendly and professional staff. Excellent value for money. Well-maintained... chalet and surrounding areas. Child-friendly.
Would've loved a heated pool for colder weather. There was nothing on which to suspend the braai grid. There was a tripod stand that would've work well if we were making a potjie.
The staff were very friendly and the facilities were great for the kids. The kids could just run off and have fun while we relaxed. We will definitely be coming back.
The kitchen utensils and washing up provisions could have been better, but the cleaner did a good job of cleaning up after us every morning.
Comfortable villas that are clean, well stocked with all the amenities you need for a self catering unit. The grounds spectacular and the facilities were abundant for all to enjoy.

The location was ideal. It is isolated from the town. The Cleaning service. Friendly staff. The fact that there a restaurant.

Love the bird live, and cleanliness of the resort.
The bed was extremely hard.
This was our second visit to Baywater Village and we enjoyed our stay tremendously. So many activities to choose from. Mini golf, games room, pool, water activities etc. We especially enjoyed our paddle bout trip across the lake. Beautiful, tranquil gardens. The exceptionaly clean, daily serviced unit was well equipped with everything we needed to feel right at home. Friendly staff, from reception to the cleaners. Will definately recommend.
Well situated near Sedgefield, a resort with plenty of holiday activities, particularly related to water sports. Cottages are upmarket and well maintained.
Some of the equipment such as bicycles and tennis rackets in poor condition
The best place to go on holiday in the garden route..
Nothing not to like about this place
activities offered lake, tennis, mtb
the weather

The accomodation, the facilities, the staff, everything was very satisfying.

Clean and well maintained. Staff working around the premises are quiet in the execution of their duties and shows much respect to the holiday goers
Even though the beds are clean and new, I found it to be too hard. When I wake up at 5am I get up immediately as my body refuses to lie down again.

Good security, friendly staff, convenience of laundry and relaxation facilities. The Tuesday braai was AMAZING 😁 A great place with activities for young and old alike.
I would have liked to book out at an earlier hour as it is a long drive home (14 hours). Maybe the inspection can be done the evening/late afternoon before to avoid traveling for 6 hours in the dark at the end of your journey home.
