Good location

- You can keep hearing the sound from someone flushing the toilet upstairs. - A staff member kept knocking on my room door at 9.30am to ask if I was checking out today. Checking out time is 11am, this doesn't make any sense at all.

Staff were very helpful

Very central to popular spots, across the road from Spinningfield which is fantastic for food and drinks. The hotel was clean, and well maintained, coffee and tea stations on each floor, the staff were super friendly and quick check in using the online tablets.

The windows didn’t open and the air-con wasn’t very strong.

Loved the decor in the communal areas. Despite being in the city centre the rooms are very quiet.

Beautiful well appointed hotel in a great location on deansgate! Loved the decor and thoughtfulness that went into the room. Staff were lovely and helpful with check in too!

The plumbing noises! Sadly they are very loud and this did make sleep for myself difficult. I found the mattress too hard but my partner slept well, so this is down to personal preference

Rooms are like a prison cell gone wrong.

The location, it was clean and comfortable. The staff are exceptional, very friendly and nothing is too much trouble.

We were in a room on the second floor facing the road and, appreciating outside of the hotel’s control, a Lamborghini driver decided to park and rev their car on Deansgate outside the hotel for an hour from midnight. I would recommend asking for a room away from the roads. We could also hear the waste water moving from the room above whenever the shower or toilet was used.

I loved the lobby area with the mix of warm low lighting, different seating areas around different corners and very chic interior, all which made it very cosy. I also liked being able to check myself in, no need to wait in a queue. I do actually prefer the hot drink machine on each floor over having a kettle in the room, means you can have proper coffee made from freshly ground beans.

Some of the hallways outside of the rooms smelt quite stale particularly on the 9th floor. When coming back to my room with two drinks in hand I then had to try and barge the door open with all my strength using my shoulder as for some reason they were getting stuck. The room itself wasnt that clean either, I noticed a lot of dust and crumbs besides the bed.

Great location, right in the heart of Manchester, only stayed for 1 night on the 7th floor, very quiet, in a king room with a massive bed, very modern look, clean and comfortable.Loved the fact that lots of sockets were available near the beds and a few mirrors to use, the space was used very well for a small room. Each floor has a coffee station with fresh milk in a fridge, and ironing boards /iron to use. Bar area looked funky and stylish, although we didn't really spend any time there, maybe next time. Great value for a city centre location and would stay again

The quirkyness of the hotel. The location was excellent.

No tea/coffee facilities in the room, not a problem going out on the hallway, however when doing this there was no milk in the fridge, could not get a hot drink.

The bed / mattress was not very comfortable

Wi-Fi was good. Vibe in the restaurant downstairs was amazing. Coffee machines on all floors was good.

Room was too small. Automated checkin process was bad. Online process at the reception said, I just needed to pay for late checkout. Nothing for pet. But then it wouldn't complete the order after I paid and check me in. Then the receptionist insisted that paid for the pet even when the automated checkin system said it was paid for. Also the late checkout which I had just paid was not reflecting on his syste.

We had the standard room, the room is small but the bed is really large and comfortable, the bathroom is excellent. We would be happy to stay over again.

Weirdly feel odd looking at unpainted rough concrete ceiling. Wanted to watch TV but couldn’t get anything without scanning code and connecting to my phone, I don’t have anything so no TV. The body lotion wouldn’t pump so I left it off hoping they will refill/replace

Air conditioning couldn't be adjusted in the room and it was pretty stuffy overnight

Loved the location, very prime and central. Fantastic staff very attentive and helpful ,the beds were comfy and it was not noisy at all. The coffee station on the floors was a good touch.

The breakfast buffet was terrible, would have been better, the bacon was the hardest bacon i have ever had,basically the hot foods section was always kinda stale felt like old food esp the mushrooms and the hash browns. The only good thing was the sausages and waffles and the yorghurt station The coffee machine would sputter for its dear life lolol but the coffee was ok. The seats at the dining area also had a very funky smell the furniture needs deep cleaning. The room intermittently had a very funky smell come through the vents, couldn't explain where it came from terrible smell, i think that was the worst bit

The bed was super uncomfortable and you have to be a contortionist to get out of one side of the bed as there literally isn’t room to pass due to the position of the TV and lack of space.

The room was lovely and spacious. Very clean and comfortable. The location was great as you are right in the centre. We also stayed on bank holiday and it wasn’t noisy either! Would definitely stay here again!

Gorgeous hotel, loved my view from the window, great location. Restaurant Motleys, you get 10% food, had a lovely stay, staff are very friendly and helpful. I got the train to Deansgate and walked from there. Will definitely stay again

Location of the hotel is perfect. Room immaculate and clean. Great little hospitality station with complimentary tea and coffee, iron and iron board by the lifts on each floor.

Sadly the street noise kept me awake from the local pubs till about 4am in the morning. I appreciate the hotel has no control over this but might be worth considering triple glazing the room to give a better and more value for money experience. Staff just didn’t seem interested at all, only on one occasion did someone in reception greet us when we entered the hotel, and we was there for 5 nights.

Quite central, friendly and clean.

The hotel was central, great for us hopping on and off the tram to see friends in Sale and also to get to and from the train station to go home. The room had everything you needed, was really compact and tidy and for the price there really is nothing to complain about. It's not luxury but it's great for a couple of nights. The bar and restaurant downstairs was great to have. We didn't eat the breakfast, opting to go to a lovely place down the road, but we did have some snacks the day we arrived and the food was good. Staff were friendly.

You could hear when other rooms flushed the loo. The bed was very hard. I did sleep fine but prefer a more comfy base and this would prevent a longer stay.

We paid for a better room with a view, but the rooms are small and to get out of bed at one side was terrible right next to the wall and a pillar , beds were very hard too , stayed in better hotels for less money. Very modern place but you lose the personal touch with everything being automated , breakfast was ok , Sunday the eggs were like rubber as they had been on the hot plate for a good while

Such a cool hotel, decor + vibes are great. Staff were so helpful + friendly! There was even a lovely MAC makeup artist in the lobby for pride doing mini makeovers, was such a nice touch!! Rooms are on the small side but not cramped at all and spotlessly clean. Check in + out process was so easy aswell

There was no full length mirror in the room and the lighting in the bathroom wasn’t great if you were planning on doing makeup but other than that absolutely perfect

the breakfast was good, with the exception of the hot drinks machines (both) not working properly on either day.

Didn't like being charged for hot chocolate , when this was an option on the machines that never worked. When it was pointed out the staff member offered to make two, and then charged me £7, when if their machines had worked it would have been free. Also noticed that if you turned down a room service you got £5 off food or drink , I turned it down and got nothing

Sheets were stained and bed was very very hard. The shower gel and lotion in bathroom were both empty which was disappointing. A dairy free milk option and decaf option would have been appreciated as I cannot have either dairy or caffeine due to medical conditions, so I was therefore unable to enjoy the advertised unlimited beverages.

Staff members very helpful. One staff member in particular, young with beard, foreign accent, was very funny. You could tell he was a people person, loved working with the public.

ملاحظات انه لايوجد ثلاجة او دولاب ملابس في الغرفه وماكان يهمني ويوجد في كل طابق مطبخ تحضيري صغير به ثلاجة كوفي مجاني وكوايه عند الحاجة مع طاولة الكوي .

Things that were not good: - The air conditioning unit was not powerful enough to properly cool the room - The control system for the air conditioning unit was basically non-functional - The water temperature was very inconsistent - The toilet flush did not work properly - The room was not lit well - small spot lights around the place - it needed a bigger central light - Insufficient ventilation for the shower - The WiFi, though very fast, kept cutting out - A small fridge in the room would make a big difference

Lobby and rooms were really quirky. Coffee machines at the end of the floor were fab too.

Couldn’t open windows room too small and warm and pipes exposed on ceiling could only get into bed from one side also !

The overall hotel is a good place to stay, however, I had to change room as the bathroom ventilation system was excessively noisy, the room was close to the lifts too, this created excessive noise too. When I changed the room the bathroom ventilation was a lot les quieter and I could not hear the lifts. the staff were able to move me, they were brilliant.

Good location

There was an Fire Alarm at 3am on the second night of my stay. It rang for 10 seconds then stopped. I exited the room to investigate. There was no staff on the floors. Other guests opened their doors to ask me if it was a genuine alarm. I proceeded down the fire exit stairs and met one other guest. I can only presume the alarm didn't sound in all rooms. We exited out onto the side street. There was no staff there. I went round to the front door where there was a staff member at the fire alarm panel. They were surprised to hear that the alarm had sounded in my room. They confirmed it was a false alarm triggered in the gym area. As I returned to my room via the fire exit stairs I met a couple of guests who were exiting and unsure what was going on. I informed them of the false alarm and returned to my room. There is no phone in the room to call down to the front desk or to receive a call into the room. I feel there is a gap in the safety procedures. The staff member didn't appear to know the alarm had sounded in my room. Someone should have called called guests were the alarm sounded to confirm the false alarm. There should have been a check on the floor. I only met one member of staff at the front door alarm panel. I would have thought someone should have been at the fire exit points to direct customers to safety or back to their rooms. It didn't fill me with confidence that a genuine alarm would be handled in an orderly manner. I had to leave sharply the next morning otherwise I would have spoken with the staff to raise my concerns.
