Wasps in the bedroom all night. I think there is a nest somewhere in the rafters. Could here certain noises.

Perfect place yo spend a night and close to the town centre.

The location was perfect for our evening dinner cruise on the Thames. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The decor of the room was very tired as was the rest of the lodge, definitely needs a bit of money spent on it.

This property was a great find. There were tea and coffee facilities in the room. The shared kitchen had everything you could need, with lots of choice for breakfast e.g. cereal, pastries, bread, eggs, sausage and bacon. There was also a garden area with plenty of seating. It was in a great location right by The Thames for a stroll along the river or a boat trip.

Nice basic breakfast (toast cereal pastry juice) in the communal kitchen in the morning and tea coffee biscuits kettle in room and toiletries helped set us up for a family day at Legoland! Great location for walk by the river.

Could hear cars from road as had to sleep with windows open in summer but fine for one night. Very basic decoration (again fine for one night).

Everything we needed was available, nice comfortable and clean room. 20 minute drive to Windsor castle which was our main aim.

It was cheap which is probably the best thing about it and the cleaners / staff who were in the kitchen etc were really helpful, but the man at the desk was a bit reluctant to help or try and understand any questions, so I would have to mark it down for that.

It's not great, very basic, tired, I can't imagine the security is great even though the locks are all electronic. The shared bathroom situation isn't ideal but it's clean and not unpleasant so it's not awful.

Nice,clean, tidy room with all the basic amenities. Clear instructions on how to collect room key and get in the property late in the night.

I arrived late night since my long haul flight was delayed. Expected a little sympathy from the house keeping. Not even a little bit of time extension. This is not a Hilton or a 4 star property. It’s just a basic lodge or Air BnB. Have some respect for travelers who went to sleep tired at 2 AM. If you’re rigid with your rules, people would rather pay higher and get into something better.

Home from home feel. Comfortable, safe, nice location. Access to the kitchen and having my own fridge is great for me. Nice shower.

Very warm room in the hot summer, so if you want a cool escape and aircon, perhaps not the place for you. The fan in the room kept me cool enough to sleep.

Reception Ashwati? was absolutely a delightful help, from our arrival to our departure she was always happy and smiling, she really cared we were happy. The room was well set out, comfortable beds and a great hot water shower. The recent 2026 June July UK heat wave impacted properties with no A/C but the installation of large wall mounted fan and opening windows allowed the cool night air to cool the room meaning sleep was no problem. The availability of a washer and dryer allows travellers to do a wash load so you're fresh and good to go and the kitchen dining is available for use.

Convenient location, comfortable bed, The room, number 5 was compact but had everything we needed including a fridge. Use of the kitchen was a bonus and we enjoyed the self service breakfast. We visited Henley and Windsor.

Close to a very busy, noisy main road. The dishwasher in the kitchen wasn’t working.

The staff were lovely, offered help and gave local advice. The room key/fob worked well. The kitchen was well equipped. Parking spaces available. Room had a fan. Shower was good.

The rooms are nothing like those you see on website. A deluxe double was smaller than expected and looked, we decided to leave after 1 night (had booked for 3)and go to a different as couldn't face being in the room in a heatwave. A fan was provided which we were grateful for but didn't touch the heat.

Un esperienza in una Lodge,vicina al fiume circa 5 minuti a piedi per la potente sulla Tsmigi,e a 15 minuti a piedi dalla stazione dei treni. Cucina condivisa,un po stile ostello,ja ben fornita,anche per me che sono intollerante al latte.

Siamo tornati oggi da due giorni di caldo tremendo a Maidenhead, anomali per loro,ma non abbiamo pensato che le camere sono senza aria condizionata quindi dentro ste camere minuscole,un caldo da fono,tipo 29 gradito,non siamo riusciti a dormire..È un peccato ...

Clean quiet room that had its own wc even though there was a bathroom shared with one other room. Also had a fridge and a fan. The help yourself breakfast was perfectly adequate and the kitchen was clean to use. Good value for money and friendly staff.

Only Netflix and U Tube channels on tv. Room was quite compact so i would only stay here for one or two nights. I would stay here again and this was out second visit.

Proximity to the river

Only bedside light on one side of bed. Whole milk for tea in room rather than semi. Part of the door surround missing. Carpet not finished properly - fraying in toilet door area. You say Costa within 200 metres - that's just machine at petrol station

Very convenient location. Staff very pleasant. Had seen reviews beforehand about the breakfast arrangements (help yourself from the communal kitchen) - so fine once knew that. Very convenient location. Given a big ground floor room, with walk in shower room - assume really good for disabled people. As a consequence, the sink was in the bedroom, so for me a bit weird doing my nighttime ablutions in front of my partner a bit strange!

Homely friendly accommodation feels like home from home

No air conditioning (was staying during recent unseasonal hot spell) couldn't sleep at night. Only fan in room which didn't help much unfortunately.

I needed somewhere comfortable but cheap to stay. Beds were super comfy, it was quiet, rooms had everything I needed.

The outside of the house needs work and it could look more presentable.

We came with a baby and a member of staff on reception was extremely helpful with offering to help take luggage upstairs.

Fan was too noisy to use but fortunately had our own. Mattress was fairly worn in places but expected in this price bracket

We didn't try the breakfast. The room and en-suite bathroom were clean and very spacious, we enjoyed the complimentary mineral water and coffee facilities. It was a very warm night and it was good to have the fan in the room. It was as good as we expected it to be. The location was ideal as we were attending a function outside of town, so it was an easy journey. Having onsite parking was also great. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

Perhaps I didn't read the emails properly, but it wasn't very clear how to get breakfast. It was only afterwards that I read a message they'd sent me with instructions. It'd help to have a note in the room explaining that we can help ourselves in the kitchen downstairs. There was a note on the fridge about yogurt, but there was none inside.

Close to Maidenhead centre

The gardens could be more kept. A lot of noise from the long term guests at night.

Self service continental breakfast was good.

There was an unfortunate smell in the room and bathroom - as though there was something wrong with the drains.

A budget lodging, so no frills and not "homely"

The bedroom was comfortable and the shower was lovely. The location was perfect for my conference just a few minutes walk away. It was great to have non-dairy milk options in the fridge and to have bread, crumpets, and fruit available in the kitchen. There was a key pad security system which felt very safe.

The Lodge itself did not look very well looked after, but inside the bedroom was much nicer. It was a bit strange not to have anyone on the reception desk, but the key system worked well.

Great location just off the Thames Path. This is a budget lodging, but it was quiet and very clean so we were happy. Felt a little like a B&B, but self-serve. The breakfast was a choice of cereal, toast, long-life pastries, yoghurt and eggs. We just helped ourselves to what we wanted. Everything was labeled in cupboards and fridge so it was easy. We needed somewhere convenient, to get some takeaway, watch TV and sleep well. Wilson Lodge ticked our boxes.

At the low price we paid, we had no complaints.

Tired property. No one at reception and no one answering the mobile I was given for queries. Unclear where to park on arrival with no one to ask. Eventually found someone who said he worked there - was helpful and advised us to park behind another van assuring us he would be off early. Slight panic the following morning when we were blocked in and due at Dorney Lake 0630. Luckily the chap who owned the van was awake and moved his van for us.

Location is convenient. Parking, free breakfast are useful. The staffs are helpful.

Shower in the family room number 2 was not great. The floor is not separated between shower and toilet. The water goes all over. Hair dryer was not there despite the description of the room mentioning that they have. But the staff got it for me after all. The bin was not emptied when we checked in and got in the room. That was disappointing.

I had a very pleasant stay at this property. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this place and would gladly stay here again.

I could hear deep music beats from other room, so you may need earphones or plugs if you are light sleeper and need a good night sleep..luckily.I brought my earphones...

Great place. Cleanliness, everything you need, fridge in the room, facilities of coffee, tea. Kitchen facilities and another fridge with breakfast food. This hotel made my day. Recommend for everyone.

Large range of items included in free, help yourself, breakfast that was 100% unexpected so that was good. Room was good size, bathroom excellent (very clean) and nice to have products. Very secure. Parking easy. Good USB charging station in room.

Man behind desk was OK but didn't say very much. Free breakfast was good but if the hotel had been fuller, would have been odd as only 4 chairs at one table to eat at. Curtain rail was falling down in bedroom so some maintenance needed. TV doesn't actually broadcast any terrestial channels, only Netflix and You Tube and despite instructions, couldn't even get that to work which was a bit frustrating.

Communal Kitchen was very clean anx fully stocked, there were a lot of food options too.

There qas a very strong purfume smell in the room. The pillows were quite thin for my liking and the room was cold during our stay, to be fair it was 7° and the radiator was on 6. The TV was a bit old so didn't have anything else but netflix, which did the job i guess, :)

Staff have been extremely unfair in being accommodating. Had to leave due to an emergency earlier. Was promised we could book the last day at a later time due to taking all the payments. Tried multiple times times to rearrange. Have been blocked and ignored. Absolutely disgusting behaviour and an absolute shame as this was a place we used throughout the year

I got the impression the main business of the property was to accommodate travelling workers, such as builders etc, and although it was friendly and clean, it's facilities weren't necessarily tailored for families.

Great location with free parking, comfortable and good sized rooms with everything you might need, incredibly friendly and helpful staff, quiet despite being next to the main road, access to a well-stocked kitchen and to outdoor space and clean and warm throughout.

Self service breakfast and then cleaning after yourself

Property was very clean and tidy, lovely greeting by staff upon arrival. Free car parking space, great kitchen facilities with a good, small selection of food and drinks. My group had 4 of the bedrooms, all were great, our family room was huge and warm, beds were comfortable. Coming back late at night alone with my granddaughter, I felt very safe at the property.

It’s a little rough around the edges, a few little DIY improvements are needed here and there but for the price and complementary breakfast, you can’t complain.
